I never see something like that before, I ask to her if everybody need to weight the carry on bag, She told me yes, but I stay on Checking places for a long time and I don't see anybody weight theirs carry on bags. Basically the company want to get my Money forced me to pay for extra weight."

Once we are on airplane, they are still shuffling seats around, so ppl cannot move forward. Just standing there for 10mins waiting for things to settle. Flight attendants did not give us a headphone. (I have a headphone for iPhone X so I could not connect it to their entertaiment system.)"

Contras: "The fact that I was charged $150 to check a small cosmetics bag is no loose change ! I would have carried it on but my hand is in a brace and I has to have extensive surgery. Then yoy get to the gate, and they repeatedly asked for volunteers to check their bags for free. I think this is a very unfair policy and try to explain it to the curbside attendant. I literally cannot carry more than five pounds in my left hand until I get bone replacement surgery. I'm also having knee surgery soon and this small additional weight would be caused me excruciating pain ! They didn't care and still charged me $150 for a bag thats no bigger than 12 inches and weighs less than ten pounds. Thats the way you treat your first class passengers? One other quick note: the sausage and egg sandwich? that was served for breakfast was absolutely horrible! Thumbs down !"

Prós: "Reminded me of what a pleasure flying was 15 + years ago. Copa had a great inflight movie (personal preference) included with the cost of the flight. Dinner was okay, but they served wine with it which made it better, also included with price of the flight. They did offer headphones for those that wanted/needed then for the inflight movie, once again included with the price of the flight."

Contras: "I've flown a lot of different business class flights in my time and these are the narrowest I've ever seen. I am not overweight but I felt very restricted in these seats. Add to the narrow seats is the design of the seat and armrests themselves and you don't have much space at all. No way I was going to be able to work on my laptop in this LATAM business class seat."

Contras: "1 hour delay with no email or other notification. Flight number changed with no notification until check in. Electronic check in system was not working twice, perhaps due to international minors, had to wait in line in order to check in. The boarding pass for our connection from Rio to Miami was not given to us in Sao Paulo when we had to manually check in. As a result, we had to exit the secured area in Rio to go check in manually again for our connection and then go through security and customs again."

Prós: "- Flight in bound to Peru + 7 hrs late. Family of 4 separated. - Flight in bound to Cusco Overbooked. Sent us on a different flight. - Return flight from Cusco Bumped (+4 hrs late), promised voucher and upgrade due to all the previous issues. - Return flight out bound from Lima. Would no recognized any of the promises nor the inconveniences of the other flights and the promises. (In Lima all was denied by the land people but they kept on sending us from one person to another for over 3 hours until the final minute when all passengers where on board they said they could not do anything). Family was separated once again."

Our friends went back home on another LATAM flight from Buenos Aires that was delayed. They were flown for 2 days around South America before making to LAX."

Good entertainment selection, they provide headphones which is nice. Comfy blankets. The crew was attentive and patient."

Contras: "I showed up to my flight from Lima and was told by Latam that my flight wasn't in their system. Due to the late hour and lack of customer service agents by the time I was able to get to the front of the line (phone calls didn't go through to anyone) the time had passed for me to even check in. According to Latam, Virgin changed my flight and forgot to rebook my return home. I ended up sleeping at the Lima airport, paying out of pocket almost $2000 and having to fly through Miami. No one took responsibility for the fact my ticket was changed and I wasn't informed - unacceptable."
Prós: "there was way too little leg room and the seats went back too far. I love LAN and LATAM because the crew and cudtomer service are always EXCELLENT."

Contras: "Everything. We never made it to the last flight because they cancelled our flight home, stranding us (myself, husband and 2 small children) in Ecuador. I have traveled extensively for almost 20 years and have NEVER dealt with such a terrible company with such shady employees. It was unbelievable and we aren't the only ones. Just take a peek at their social media accounts. They don't allow reviews anymore but there is a community of people who have been stranded in South America by LATAM and the link is easily found. They seem to have a ploy to try and get people to buy extra tickets. Seriously a scam. Stay away!"

And finally the plane delay and no information show the plane will delay for how long. Bad information in the counter My handle of the sit is broken I have photo to proof if you would need it, I save it with me. The lighting system in the plane is very stupid or may be the crew don't know how to operate, every time they just turn on all the light no matter we are sleep or not! This is a red eye flight passenger should have a choice to not get disturb, when the light on I need to turn it off every time! And the next passenger don't really know how to turn the light off that always on during the flight! Super bad flying experience. Not comfortable at all. Can't sleep much!"
