Prós: "Empty seat between us. Entertainment was good. Bags made it to the baggage claim before we did!"
Contras: "Flight attendant had an attitude when I boarded. I went to put my carryon item in overhead compartment and she questioned me asking my seat number. My seat included a carryon and she had an attitude for no reason."

Moqueca was flavored Boarding was very confused, we bought premium economy, on advertising we could check-in on business class, no specific line for business or economic, only separated line for first clas"

Contras: "There was a delay from Charlotte to Dallas but not too much so it was fine. Once we arrived in Dallas, however, it took an absorbent amount of time for the crew to open the door. On top of that, the skyline in Dallas was broken down and it caused me to miss my flight completely. I’m a student so I don’t have much money so I had to “sleep” in the airport because I couldn’t get a hotel voucher due to the fact that I missed my flight due to the airport and not the airline itself. My next flight is tomorrow morning but now takes away time from an incredibly busy and tight schedule that I was on. Not happy at all with the Dallas airport."

Contras: "Today’s flight was extremely cold. Almost everyone in the plan was under the covers at some point."

Prós: "I liked having the built in screen on the a321. Americans streaming service has lots to offer but the built in screens have more choices. I get why they want to just offer the streaming but I appreciate all the choices! There was a group number enforcer at the gate to make boarding more organized! She was polite but told the mobs that try to use the premium line to wait their turn."
Contras: "I asked for upgrades to and from Chicago. I’m a gold member and fly for leisure fairly often. There are so many people looking for an upgrade these days that you’re rarely getting the opportunity"

Contras: "Several flights were delayed and canceled on last minute."

Prós: "Crew was very helpful and attentive"
Contras: "The 4 hour delay."

Contras: "Was informed when we checked in that the flight we had purchased did not exists. We were informed thatcher would have to wait 24hours (after an already 7 hour layover) to catch another flight to Los Angeles. After debating with customer servinge several times and being forced to wait in line after being told things were fixed several time we had to threaten to record conversations and had someone call American Airlines headquarters and finally was able to get in the flight the same night. We at work be point were laughed at by an American Airlines customer service professional. I had purchased upgraded seats since I’m over 6 feet tall and they were not able to accommodate on the new flight, the flight was horrible and I had ton stand up every hour to make I the whole 12 hours."

Prós: "The only decent point was the food. Not great but at least edible."
Contras: "Since check in in São Paulo was a complete chaos. There were only 2 people helping on check in (in machines) and these people were still not helping people (like me) with questions about on how to do check in in those machines. On the other hand to dispatch the bags there were almost 8 attendants to receive the bags. Ridiculous! I’ve tried calling American Airlines and Latam several times to assign a seat for me and they swore there were only middle seats but I know how airlines work to make extra money on these seats. At the end, they only gave me a middle seat option and I had to take I.t of course. On the plane I realized there were dozens of empty seats and yet they made sure not give them to me or anyone else. Unbelievable! Unfortunately I still have to use AA on my way back to Brazil. After this, I’ll chose another airlines for sure. Also, the 3,4,3 arrangement is ridiculous: there’s no corridor space making people touching you everything someone passes by your seat. And boy! Those seats are so uncomfortable and there’s no way to incline the chair so you can even have a little rest (because it’s impossible to even sleep on those seats). The crew were simply doing their jobs! No pleasure! No smile! No engaging with anyone unfortunately! They looked miserable and I asked for water and the flight attendant NEVER brought me anything. Seriously! Water is free!"

Contras: "I understand some delays can occur due to tecnical problems and most of the times they are out of control but negative issues related to communications they are controllable and they must be reviewed and implemente properly."

Contras: "Do you think airline management sits around boardrooms to brainstorm ways to torture its passengers more? The seats and the leg room are ridiculous. It's gotten to much worse recently."

Prós: "Lots of movie options."
Contras: "I didn't like anything else about the flight. My seat was broken and the seats are incredibly cramped! Absolutely no leg room whatsoever. I am 6 feet tall which is an average male height so I can't imagine how anyone taller fits in those seats."

Prós: "Love these Non-stop to Austin even though they are always full. Thanks for this luxury of non having to transfer in Dallas."
Contras: "The down side is that these planes are smaller so we didn't have any entertainment and therefore no place to charge digital devices. There is however, wifi to purchase."

Contras: "Film selection was subpar, and had no subtitles available. Flight safety information video so unbelievably boring. Flight crew repeated all instructions at least 3 times including video interruptions. What is the point of having in flight entertainment if crew will interrupt said entertainment at least once every 10 min to remind you you are still in turbulent air? Do they honestly think the passengers forgot? We are in the plane too! I understand they have to be careful due to liability but this airline is ridiculous. Believe it or not customers do not like being treated like children. Would not recommend to others or fly this airline again. Also, the lunch was awful even by airline standards. Btw the airline was avianca not AA. kayak must have messed up or they are owned by AA. AA is great and I recommend them wholeheartedly but Avianca is awful. Stay away if you can afford to do so."

Contras: "i ask the crew for help to locate my luggage because we didnt pick it up after we landed in chicago for custom check! we were told in thailand that our bag will be going to wichita and we did not need to pick it up in chicago, when i try to do the self check in their machine didnt work! so i had to wait in line, and then wheni ask the crew member for help to locate my luggage she said she is too busy!!!!!"

Contras: "Mechanical delay in Rome after we were boarded. Delay caused missed connection in. Chicago. Rescheduled through Charlotte until we protested and asked for a direct flight to Denver. Got one through United. Plane was small and seats were cramped - much more than on the plane over to Rome."

Prós: "Slept very well in business. Great crew!"

Contras: "I did not fly I lost my flight they had a problem with the airplane on my flight from brasilia to sao paulo so I arrived late lost the connection to my other flight from Sao Paulo to LAX. Also they lost my luggage. LATAM and American Air Lines doesnt know where my luggage is. I arrived at my LAX 12 hours after. They still dont know where my luggage is"

Contras: "I had my reservation cancelled despiste numerous phone calls. The flight was operated by AA, and they told me I wasn't on the flight, but after many phone calls LATAN assured me I was booked on the flight. When I got to the airport, I was not allowed to board my direct flight from GRU to LAX, instead I was sent to Miami then Charlestown , I took me an extra 12 hours to get home. I lost a day of work. Who's going to reimburse me for that ???"

Prós: "The crew really good"
Contras: "People at the bs as airport didn't organize everything. Lines all over the place and two flights cancelled to the same destination in less than 24 hours! Got lucky that they didn't move us onto a next flight because there was a domino effect on the flight. I stead of solving a problem for 200, they began to make problems for 600."

Prós: "Comfortable seats. Quick boarding. No delays."
Contras: "Again flights attendants were a bit dry."

Contras: "We waited in the plane at the gate for over two and a half hours after scheduled departure time. I understand that things happen and illnesses are sometimes sprung upon us but that wasn't the issue. The issue was that there was not a backup in place for an instance like this. I understand the time of night was the main issue but planes are flying 24/7."

Prós: "The crew was nice. Quick flight."
Contras: "They used a crappy old plane. The seats were very worn. It was obviously a really old aircraft. For first class I should have flown coach. No drink offered upon boarding. Just very minimal with the high price attached."

Prós: "All great in Biz. class."

Contras: "Departing closer to scheduled time - lack of flight attendants causing a three hour delay is not great at all."

Contras: "Everything. The flight was delayed by 4 hours. There was no food in first class. The luggage was put on an earlier flight ans delivered to a different gate. The person handling luggage in Gate A was rude. We had to go to the other gate at 1am to pickup our luggage."

Prós: "The flight itself was as good as expected: Attentive crew and competent pilot, good enough food, comfortable enough (for coach) seats, and clean airplane. The seats could be made to recline a bit more but nobody seems to be doing it for coach class."
Contras: "The flight was delayed 30 minutes causing me to lose the connecting flight home by about 5 minutes There was no effort from United to help me to get the second flight on time or from the crew on that one to delay it enough for me to arrive. They suggested I waited 9 hours for the next available flight or to get one by AA in Reagan Airport in 3 hours. They told me that transportation to that airport would not be reimbursed and would cost between 20 and 40 dollars. I didn't know the airports were that far apart and the one-hour taxi drive cost me 80 dollars. From Sao Paulo to Washington, things went as well as expected. Once landed everything was horrible."

Contras: "Another passenger was extremely rude to me. Causing me to have to move seats mid flight. Crew did not try to resolve the issue with the man behind me and put me in a worse seat. Horrible."

Contras: "5 hour delay; sat on the plane for that duration with minimal handouts of water or snacks. Why didn’t we go back to the gate and de-plane? It was utterly miserable."

Contras: "My least favorite thing about flying to Dulles is getting on those ridiculous people movers to go to customs and immigration s. Creates a larger cluster of people at immigration and something else I have to wait on. Also - why is GRU already using buses for boarding 787s? The new terminal just opened three years ago-- missed opportunity."

Contras: "I didn't like how tight the seating spaces were. I'm a thin, small person and I was not comfortable. I can't imagine how a taller or heavier person could be accommodated comfortably. I never thought I'd say this ... but I've now decided I prefer taking the train because domestic air travel is just too confining!"

Contras: "Worst experience I've ever had.. I've flown over 7 times with other carriers and my very first United Airlines experience was one to forget.. all around experience was a very SOLID F on the grading scale."

Prós: "Friendly crew. I could understand the pilot. He had to tell us we were skirting weather and would be delayed in landing. But he was clear and professional, which made it easier to take."
Contras: "No one can like the seats these days on almost any aircraft. Not enough leg room and the seats curve your upper body into some unnatural position."

Contras: "Flight was cancelled twice and only paid for hotel. Would not pay for food"

Contras: "My flight was cancelled 3 times and I arrived at my destination at approximately 10:30 p.m. instead of 11:15 a.m."

Contras: "They suspended my ticket claiming I was a NO SHOW when that was not the case @ all!"

Prós: "Courtesy and respectful nature of TSA and Agricultural checkpoints"
Contras: "Crying infants but thank goodness for streaming entertainment and headphones"

Contras: "From SPS TO USA they let me bring my carry on laptop hand women hand bag, going back from Houston to SPS they didn´t allow me to have all of them.....another passegers had 3 things......need to standardize and let women hand bags be allawed to travel inside the cabin as well carry one-laptop.....teh way teh employee refers to mee was kind of dessapointed telling me that is teh way it is.....in Houston..."

Contras: "Rude attendants"

Prós: "Loved boarding process. Nearly impossible to get down the aisle with carry on, personal item and a coat. Come on...."

Prós: "There were maybe two of the flight attendants. Who weren't rude. The rest well, I guess didn't like there jobs? I lost all my money for my first flight, because i was over 4 hours late. When i purchased a ticket from cheapo air, the person helping me was so nice. Unlike United airlines, or Viama. When i missed my flight that i paid $1,300.00, United said they'd give me another ticket for $4,000? This was a one time offer to redeem my $1,300 Viama said $10,500? I will only buy my tickets from cheapo air from now on."
Contras: "The flight attendants are very snotty, 2 out of the 18 I encountered were polite. The rest acted like they hated their jobs, and all the passengers. When you travel to another country they should have at least one person who speaks English. Can't really say much for the food, essentially requesting a vegetarian meal was out of the question, so i just starve. Drink some watered down booze, take a few dramamine and sleep. The layovers are ridiculous. 14 hours, 8 hours 4 hours? Good thing God made Beer and pizza."

Prós: "We boarded quick, the flight was smooth. We arrived early. The staff was friendly"
Contras: "I upgraded to first class for more comfort, so I could rest and I was extremely disappointed that my seat didn't decline at all. The snack choices could have been a lot better."
