The flight crew members were all helpful and friendly and I enjoyed the drink (especially suco de maracuja) and snack offerings. As I spoke only limited Portuguese, I greatly appreciated the attempts made by the ground staff and flight crew to communicate with me, both in English and via hand gestures. I am certain that no domestic airline would be so helpful to non-English speakers in the USA!"
Contras: "I realize Azul cannot help being stuck in Terminal 2, but it's not the most comfortable place to wait for a flight. Also, after I walked through the gate, several boarding flights merged confusingly in a single passageway with exits to multiple planes and many people got lost and ended up (temporarily!) on the wrong airplane, despite heroic attempts by the ground crew to direct passenger traffic. There must be a better method than having everyone follow colored lines to the planes - it wasn't working!"

Contras: "The arrogant employees at Gov. Valadares didnt tell me they were sending me to another airport making me miss my conection flight in the process. This information was disclosed only after I asked if the flight was on time because I had a international flight to catch at my final destination Sao Paulo - GRU. Instead of helping and apologizing for the hassle, the attendant said that I had to pay for my carry-on (that was 10kg) because I had another hand bag with my laptop in it. I said that I would not pay, and that Azul should return me money first for not delivering the service I purchase - which was the flight from Governador Valadares, MG to Sao Paulo, SP (with a quick stop in Belo Horizonte, MG). Instead they were making me miss my international flight, and besides not taking any responsibility for it, this woman is telling me that I had to pay for a carry on?!? I was mesmirized by the lack of sense of this flight attendant. After telling me that I was going to get in Sao Paulo at 9pm instead of 5pm, and that I would have to run to get a bus to another terminal and hopefully make it to my international flight that was at 10:20pm, she insisted I’d pay. I told her that if she could get me to my destination at 5pm maybe I wouldn’t mind paying, but since that wasn’t the case, and I’d have to run to try to catch another flight because of Azul Airlines, that she should really think about it and let it go, and let me go with my bag as a carry on. She gave me the ticket, and as I grabbed my bag and went towards the bus, she threatened me, saying that in Ipatinga and in Belo Horizonte (my first conection flight) they would not allow me on the plane with the carry on. Since the non-sense continued I just took her as a mentally disable person, and ignored her threat. A full bus and 2 vans headed to Ipatinga (100km away in a dangerous highway), packing the flight there, really making me think that this non-sense was just a way Azul Airlines figured out to save money in fuel. The flight was completely full, the AC not working properly, and with the heat and humidity people were smelly. It was absolutely awful. The flight attendants in Ipatinga (way nicer than the ones in Gov. Valadares), distributed water to the passengers that looked like they were about to faint, the ones sweating profusely, the elderly and the kids. By the way, the carry on bag was not an issue at the other airports. Once in Belo Horizonte I noticed that my original Azul flight from Belo Horizonte to Sao Paulo at 3:30pm as 1 hour and 15 minutes LATE. I run to the gate and explained what happened and after crying out loud was able to convince the Azul attendants to let me in on that flight so I wouldn’t miss my international flight. They made me wait until last minute but I cried: this is the flight I had a ticket for. It’s only fair you let me in! So they did. And I made my other flight. But not before I got upset, had a headache, stomach ache and felt demoralized by Azul staff."

Once they moved me to Alan they couldn’t check me in and send me back to Avianca, during that process they lost my suitcases. I arrived to Orlando with no clue where my suitcases where and I was traveling g with to young kids. Although I recovered my suitcases I haven’t heard a follow up."

Contras: "My flight was changed from having 1 layover, to having 2 and getting back much later in the day. When I got to the airport, my flight had been changed again to have 3 layovers and getting back the next morning. When I spoke with a representative at the Rio airport she said she couldn't do anything for me but to ask at my next layover where they could switch me to a direct flight. When I asked at that airport, they said they didn't even fly direct flights. Worst airline experience I've ever had."

Contras: "It took two hours in line to be told our flight was cancelled. After waiting another hour we were told they did not have alternative flights for us. They refused to have conversation and would randomly leave to the back office for 20 minutes at a time or stop assisting people at all. There were people screaming at the ticketing counter and security was called. In the end we spent 14 hours waiting there for a new flight, got split up and sent to different countries, had to miss work, and were not given any flight credit, accommodation, or even an apology."

Contras: "In the seats close to the bathroom of economic class it was impossible to sleep. The sound from the discgarge was horrible!!!! In a flight of 6h it is really important."

Contras: "I lost my flight because I did not receive any notification that avianca wasn't allowing people to get on the plane to Bogota from Rio de janeiro without a yellow fever vaccine certificate. Keeping in mind that my departure flight was from Bogota with the same airline. So I lost my return flight and avianca wouldn't give me any discount on getting a new one."

Once we are on airplane, they are still shuffling seats around, so ppl cannot move forward. Just standing there for 10mins waiting for things to settle. Flight attendants did not give us a headphone. (I have a headphone for iPhone X so I could not connect it to their entertaiment system.)"

Contras: "The fact that I was charged $150 to check a small cosmetics bag is no loose change ! I would have carried it on but my hand is in a brace and I has to have extensive surgery. Then yoy get to the gate, and they repeatedly asked for volunteers to check their bags for free. I think this is a very unfair policy and try to explain it to the curbside attendant. I literally cannot carry more than five pounds in my left hand until I get bone replacement surgery. I'm also having knee surgery soon and this small additional weight would be caused me excruciating pain ! They didn't care and still charged me $150 for a bag thats no bigger than 12 inches and weighs less than ten pounds. Thats the way you treat your first class passengers? One other quick note: the sausage and egg sandwich? that was served for breakfast was absolutely horrible! Thumbs down !"

Contras: "Delta cancelled the flight after midnight on Friday morning, and never rebooked me. I still haven't heard from them. In not even sure why I'm getting alerts about baggage claim."

Prós: "I liked the in-flight entertainment and the crew was very pleasant"
Contras: "The seats are awful. If you're 6 ft or taller, your legs barely fit if at all. Boarding is ridiculous."

Prós: "I had a middle row seat for this 3 hour 50 minute red eye flight. The plane was quite new. There was plenty of storage space in the bins above the seats. My seat was very comfortable. It reclined a lot. The leg room was more than I needed and I am 6' tall. The individual TV monitor was great. Delta made a long flight quite bearable!"

Prós: "Reminded me of what a pleasure flying was 15 + years ago. Copa had a great inflight movie (personal preference) included with the cost of the flight. Dinner was okay, but they served wine with it which made it better, also included with price of the flight. They did offer headphones for those that wanted/needed then for the inflight movie, once again included with the price of the flight."
Contras: "The flight attendants were not overly nice. Typical flight to Orlando with A LOT of young children, but the one constantly kicking the back of my seat was one of the worst experiences of my flight history (not the airlines fault)."

Prós: "Father had an emergency operation could not fly as scheduled I called Airline and they helped me re-schedule at No cost of course after following some procedures"

Contras: "Often flying to Orlando is a headache because there are always a lot of clueless foreign families and noisy children going to Walt Disney World. This flight was the exception--everything was smooth!"

Contras: "Service is terrible, flight attendants don't seem to be very professional. Snack was terrible quality (two pieces of cheese and 6 grapes), breakfast was bad too. Quality of wine was bad, no Champagne, cheap Cava Entertainment system outdated, seat not very comfortable."

Contras: "flying from Medellin to Orlando, it will take in a direct fly 4 hours max. It took us 9 hours to get to Orlando. The waiting time in Panama was to long (4 hours, more than what it will take the whole fly if it was direct). When we land i took forever (25 min) to reach the point where we can get off from the airplane. Then it took 1 and half hour to get our suitcases."

Prós: "Everything from boarding to landing"
Contras: "BAD THINGS: the people in the check in counter! They need more training about: how to treat well amd with respect to people who they do not know anything about!!"

Prós: "Friendly crew, good food."
Contras: "AC in the plane didn't work on the ground (during boarding and taking off). It had been extremely hot and sweaty before we took off. Cheap earphones provide very bad quality of sound. I barely could hear anything. I had to use my personal earphones."

Contras: "I traveled with my family from San Francisco to Brazil We were told that we should get the Yellow Fever vaccine even before we leave San Francisco. We called Copa and every time each of us talked to Copa we were given a different instruction. Very confusing and stressful. We decided not to get the vaccination, taking into consideration the cost of it, $159.00 for each family member!!!"

Contras: "Crazy early. Boarding pass says gate closes by 1205 (for scheduled 1220 departure). We TOOK OFF (in air) before 1200. We got yelled at because we arrived only 1 hour early — should be 3 hours early for an “international flight”. Luggage very difficult, Must rush, etc. But everything turned out great. Scl is crazy airport — 20 minute wait for gate ramp when we got there (still 20 minutes early, instead of 40! On a 60-minute scheduled flight!). Huge long walk to immigration. Pretty long wait for bags. But it all worked out fine."

Contras: "Low cost, no frills, but on time. It's what we want and they delivered that today."

Prós: "Good entertainment on board and the crew was fairly attentive, but not as attentive as on other airlines."
Contras: "Food was not great, but at least it was edible. Thought the crew could have also asked about refills more often."

For a midnight flight, I was really bummed to find out that my seat would not recline! My leg room on the A321 was lacking in comparison with GOL."

Contras: "Always not clear if the carry on are included. Always getting a surprise to pay $35 for carry on. Offered an upgrade for $15 took it to find out no more leg room only placed at front of plane.. No entertainment on 3 plus hours flight. Overall lots to be willing to upgrade."

Contras: "Crew not friendly or personable. No smiles. Minimal beverage service on a 3+ hour flight. Check in & boarding at Ushuaia was convoluted and slow."

Prós: "Good service and food. Though food tray was small. not very many choices. Pleasant crew."
Contras: "The boarding process in Lima was chaotic. I was to continue on the same plane from Miami and Lima to Buenos Aires, however, nobody mentioned I could stay on the same aircraft, so they made me go off the plane out the arriving area hall, again through security, which was a hassle, almost forgot my wrist watch..... all that to end up in the same gate to board the same plane. a total waste of time and energy...."

Prós: "I LIKE EVERYTHING ON THE FLIGHT"

Contras: "The customer service I received on the plane however was probably the worst service I've ever had and I fly a lot. From a stewardess giving me grief for requesting coke and crackers to the overall customer experience was very much lacking!"

Contras: "DONT BUY YOUR TICKET WITH FLIGHT NETWORK !!!!! I HAD A PROBLEM AND LOST ALL MY MONEY !! ALL THE TICKETS (5 PERSONS) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Terrible customer service will never fly Latam again"

Contras: "I took 5 flights with LATAM during the last 2 weeks. All flights delayed over 1 hours for no reason."

Prós: "The flight itself was great because there were personal TVs for everyone that had a wide selection of movies and games. It had more categories on it but little time to explore in the short plane ride after the movie from BWI to MIA. Great pilot, little motion sickness and great staff."
Contras: "I did not like how I came with my family and the clerks did not even try to seat us together, just gave us our tickets and sent us on our way, even after mentioning we had under age kids with us and a 2 year old who WILL CRY if not seated next to my other 2 family members."

Prós: "the seat is roomer than United airline and American Airline. the crew is much younger than other airplane company. the food and service are good too."

Prós: "I LOVE that LATAM does not book its flights solid: I love that they leave some empty seats and breathing room-- it makes all the difference in the world. I love that the bathrooms have full length mirrors, hand towelettes, and are well maintained. Most of all, I love how compassionate,patient, and accomodating the flight attendants are."
Contras: "I would have liked for there to be more vegetarian choices-- healthier foods, more veggies, more fruits, rice, less meat. It would be nice to have real milk or cream instead of powder for the coffee; and honey instead of sugar."

Contras: "Had to wait more than 2 hours in the Que to get the boarding pass. Had to come in air new Zealand and same issues when went to brisbane. More than 8 hours wait before flying to brisbane. Thanks."

Prós: "The crew was attentive, professional and friendly."
Contras: "Small seats."

Contras: "I flew home on the LATAM600 Lima to LAX. My flight was suppose to leave noon on May 25. Unfortunately we were delayed until noon the following day, May 26. I understand these matters are out of attendant's control, but the changes were not communicated in English and everyone was extremely slow to get us situated. Our flight was officially canceled at 5:30 pm, and it took five more hours for the attendants to get us to a hotel. In the morning, the transportation was not communicated well that I missed the bus. During all this, they never tried to re-book anyone either. I would pass on flying LATAM in the future."

Contras: "Had to sit for 7.5 hours with no entertainment as TV did not work."

Prós: "I don't know that I like anything"
Contras: "The food on this plane is awful. All the pork being served is simply unfair. What about serving turkey sandwiches as an alternative to red meat or pork? The children roam about freely and it's quite uncomfortable. The seats are to close for such a long flight. I really can't get the disgusting dishes out of my mind."

Prós: "Ok food."
Contras: "I cant even fit my actual problem in his box but point it ill never travel with them ever again. Noone was able to help me when i needed to change my tickets noone knew what they were talking about and everyone you talk to gives you false/different information."

Prós: "The crew and in-flight entertainment."
Contras: "Coming from the cuisine of Peru, I expected the food in coach to at least not taste like rubber and have some variety. A ham and cheese pastry for dinner didn't quite cut it. At least they offer free wine and beer."

Prós: "Enjoyed looking at the Andes. Flight was underbooked. Open seats."
Contras: "Boarding was a cattle call. Typical these days. Crew was aloof. Brought my own food and drink because i know how airlines can be. Didn't pay much attention. Looked out the window."

Prós: "This was the last leg of a very long trip. It went great and the whole trip went as planned. Highly recommend LATAm and American."

And searching for info on twitter I found out this flight gets cancelled quite a lot."
