We had only booked one way so we had to book a bus ticket to Uruguay using our cell phones. It was very disconcerting. (Some very kind airline staff helped us with that). And even more so because no one at customs in Argentina asked for any return information! A last minute return flight booking at the gate was quoted at an outrageous sum."

Prós: "All planes had nice Sky interiors. Pitch was better than LAN B789s. All flights arrived between 15 and 20 min. early. I had to check another bag between 2 flights (I had left one in a locker at 2nd airport) and it was no issue at all, personnel at Ezeiza were efficient and friendly."
Contras: "Although IFE was ok (large new screens, good brightness), the movie selection wasnt stellar, and there was no classical music to relax. But these are minor points. Food was regular airplane food, nothing special but not worse than anywhere else."

As a consequence we lost 2 days of our vacation and hotel fee.Couldn't in touch with their 800 number as it was always shutting down. We went to JFK. There was nobody to ask. This is the worst airline. I think I'll never fly this airline even if it was free. We flew United. Old plane but great service."

Contras: "Since the flight was operated by Gol, Aerolineas Skyteam priority boarding there was not availiable even there was sold as an Aerolineas Argentinas flight"

Definetely not a business class service, more like a economy plus service boarding should be a bit more organized Child meal should be assigned inmediately when you book a child, not upon request"

Contras: "I was seated in the exit row and stowed my bag securely under the seat in front of me. As we pulled away from the gate, three of the flight staff "accosted" me in Spanish, and told me I had to stow my bag overhead; since the flight was full, there was no room for my bag overhead so the one English speaking flight attendant told me I had to move my bag and me to another seat. He thrust an emergency card- in English- in my face and I was shuffled to a seat across the aisle. Lunch pox contained a sandwich with some kind of meat and cheese. Drinks were room temperature. Several passengers were standing in the aisles when the plane pushed back from the gate and numerous seats were still in recline position when we took off."

Prós: "IFE had been upgraded to include on-demand content. AR's pilots are some of the best in the market, with lots of training; had a very smooth flight experience in that regard. Early arrival, prompt departure."
Contras: "Horrible food, nearly inedible. Bathrooms were a mess after just a few hours (of a 13-hour flight). Flight attendants were MIA immediately after dinner service and did not check up on passengers proactively. Boarding process was disorganized."

Prós: "I'm not sure since I slept through most of the 90 minute flight, which is a good sign, I guess. It was an older plane with no entertainment system, but I hate those things, so fine by me. I missed the food this time around, but it was a crappy cold sandwich when I took the same flight a few weeks earlier, but it's a 90 minute flight, so what do you expect?"
Contras: "The boarding process was pointless While this is a quirk of the airport, the airline should change their procedure for this scenario. LATAM splits passengers into different groups: first class, special needs, priority because you paid, everybody else. That's fine at most airports. At Santiago's airport, however, passengers ride a bus from the gate to the plane, mixing up all the groups on the bus, so what's the point? Worse, special needs passengers were the first to get on the bus, but end up last to get off screwing over the elderly and those with small children. What a system!"

Add to the narrow seats is the design of the seat and armrests themselves and you don't have much space at all. No way I was going to be able to work on my laptop in this LATAM business class seat."

Electronic check in system was not working twice, perhaps due to international minors, had to wait in line in order to check in. The boarding pass for our connection from Rio to Miami was not given to us in Sao Paulo when we had to manually check in. As a result, we had to exit the secured area in Rio to go check in manually again for our connection and then go through security and customs again."

Contras: "The flight at first had a 3 HOUR delay do to a "mechanical breakdown". We were told that they were going to bring another airplane from Rio de Janeiro. After the 3 hours passed they were only announcing in Portuguese to board the original plane. They never changed planes or provided a clear explanation to the passengers. Many of us refused to board. This was one of the worse experiences I have ever had. The staff was disrespectful and would not help us. We ended up taking another flight until the following night!!"

Contras: "Company was not able to understand situation and did not offer solution. I lost my money"

Contras: "Latam The website of Latam is useless. The services for people in broadcoast is so difficult that almost impossible (email, facebook, telephone, etc) In my case, i was in Africa and couldn´t change my ticket. My brother had to change it from Argentina."

Contras: "The flight was cancelled, we were reassigned to a Turkish Airlines flight that departed more than 6 hours later than our cancelled flight, we were given lunch but at a fast food restaurant even when we had to carry along all our luggage (super un-practical). And searching for info on twitter I found out this flight gets cancelled quite a lot."

Contras: "The seats were the smallest seats I've ever say in and I felt claustrophobic. Checking into this flight was a disaster and impossible. Tam would redirect me to Tam airlines and Lan would redirect me to Lan. The Lan customer service was unable to get into the Tam airlines flight so we emded up with the most awful chairs in the airline. I wish they would fix their website so checkin isn't as frustrating as it was for me. I understand the airlines merged but if each airline is unable to access eachothers flight then how exactly did you merge? ALSO when we got off the first flighy to connect in this one they gave us no explanation until 20min later to where we should commect to this flight. They MADE US WALK A 20min WALK TO ANOTHER TERMINAL WITH ALL OUR BAGS. It was awful. If your gonna need people to walk to another terminal the least you can do is supply a shuttle."

And the gate check in had an absurdly small number of kiosks and no one to help the confused passengers. Boarding was done on time and they kept the door open for 20 minutes after take off time with no announced reason for the delay."

Prós: "Crew was friendly, helpful, overall awesome. Comfort level was great. Appreciated the few small extras that came with our GOL premium upgrade purchase."
Contras: "Seriously, a sandwich and some indistinguishable "dessert". Honestly, I can't tell you what the 2nd item was on the try, even after trying it. I get that the flight was only 3 hours long, but a sandwich is not dinner. And, it tasted horrible. I took 3 bites and couldn't stomach the rest. It was laughable that they offered wine with it. Had I realized this was the option, I would have brought my own food. My husband, who eats literally everything, couldn't even eat it, and it was a cheese sandwich. How hard is it to make a bad cheese sandwich? Well, apparently, GOL knows how to do it."

Prós: "My trip had two legs, Austin to Heathrow and Heathrow to Riyadh. The crew from Heathrow to Riyadh were great. I wish I could say the same about the crew from Austin to Heathrow."
Contras: "Overall, the flight was fine. My comments are relative to BA 1st class. At best, I would rate it in the middle of the business class flights I've flown on other airlines. There is nothing about the experience that is actually 1st class from a separate lounge, to boarding, to in flight meals. The seats on my planes were worse than Turkish Airlines Business class (among many others). Storage around the seat is also FAR worse than other airlines products,even in business class. I had taken the same flights in November and 95-98% of the entertainment options were the same. There were, maybe, 2 new movies and 2-3 new documentaries/TV shows. The in seat charger only worked on one leg. Several meal options were "sold out." Mediocre at best."

They gave me a voucher for a light refreshment and while I was at the airport I observed a mouse coming out of a corner. This is the second time this year that British airways did this to me. I will never book a flight with them again! I have an ill family member who is waiting for me to get there. They have no respect for people’s time!!!"

Contras: "Expected more for my money...In flight services (movies) screens were very small and hard to see. No charging outlets for phones. Flights were delayed. No sense of urgency mentality? (Don’t get me started on the London airport experience)."

Contras: "Food options very poor. Was not asked about veg or non veg just directly served veg. Entertainment on a 9 hour flight was devoid of choices."

Contras: "Landed in London late missed the connection flight. BA only had 1 flt a day going to Santorini....Next days flt completely booked...Had to fly from Lon to Madrid to Athens then to Santorini.....Took 38 hrs traveling time to get to our destination...Not a happy camper!!!!!"

Contras: "I called them for luggage I have I can take 20 3KG in the end in the airport I haw to pay for my language"

Prós: "Hillary Swank happened to be on our flight..."
Contras: "Like all of the flights we had with British Airways, it was delayed. Flight delays happen all of the time but the real issue was that there was very little information shared with us as to why, how long, etc. We ended up sitting on the tarmac for more than an hour without so much as an offer of water by the crew. When we did get into the air, it took the crew a full hour to reach all of the rows with refreshments, none of which (including water) were complimentary."

Contras: "The foot rest broken and I told them they don't do anything even I have bad knees"

Prós: "Very good"

Prós: "Friendly crew; okay food and nice movies. Security screening went fairly quick. No abnormal long lines."

Contras: "Flight full takes longer time for boarding . But staff was nice and efficient . Lots of leg room comfortable chairs."

Contras: "The flight was oversold and so I lost my seat, and had to wait on standby before I was given a seat, even though I had an assigned seat when I booked my ticket. Very bad!"

Prós: "good meals, good seats, adequate in flight entertainment - this was part of a voyage all the way around the planet starting and ending in san jose costa rica - 5 different airlines and 8 different planes - eva was best but brittish air and iberia were a close second"
Contras: "even though i was at the airport almost 5 hours before the flight - the check in process left me with less than an hour by the time i got through the line twice and then through all the security points - they waited way to late to begin checkin - my kiosk check in was a waste of time since they did the same thing at the window - however, and fortunately for us - they did give us boarding passes for all three legs of the journey whereas the kiosk only gave two - Kuala Lumpur, London and Madrid - because my companion was traveling with a philippines passport we needed to stay airside at all three stops"

Prós: "Seats were comfortable... that's about it"
Contras: "Firstly at check in the BA staff could have mentioned the gate was miles away and there's a second passport control to get through... I have a 82 year old dad I was helping navigate around the airport. Secondly on the flight out and back they ran out of the M+S food they so proudly advertise in the menu on board... you have to pay for it which is fine... but I would have liked to have bought some! So the few people higher up in the rows had the opportunity... row 15 and lower didn't..."

Prós: "nothing really"
Contras: "Do not serve food or drinks without charging. Have to even buy water (bottled). The crew is not polite or friendly. I flew BA almost 20 years ago and swore I will never fly them again. I broke that promise as I booked a flight in Virgin Atlantic which had connections on BA. 20 years later the service still sucks and has gotten worst. No more BA for me ever."

Contras: "Changan T1 is awful. BA god poor. Otherwise fight to time and uneventful. Passenger cabin in 777s feels squashed. Toilets barely cope."

Prós: "We arrived safely at our destination. Our bags arrived at our destination. Plenty of room in the overhead compartment. Due to a security snafu unrelated to the airline, we arrived at the gate after boarding was over but the gate crew were gracious and welcoming and let us board. The male flight attendant was quite nice. The entertainment screen choices were decent, and the hand-held controller was a great improvement over the touch-screen variety. There were multiple lavatories available. There was a decent amount of space by the lavatories that we could use for stretching and exercising. The wrap they gave us for high tea was pretty good."
Contras: "Seats were very cramped. I was sitting on the right next to the window, and there was no room for me to extend my right leg while facing forward; I had to twist to my left and extend my legs under the middle seat in front of me (fortunately my wife was next to me so I could do this). In addition, the passenger seated in front of me decided to recline his seat, nearly knocking over my drinks in the process, which left me with very little usable space. I haven't ever felt that cramped on an international flight. The main meal was very low quality. I had the pasta and it was quite awful; the sides were quite bad, as well. One of the female flight attendants was rather testy and unpleasant throughout the flight. She, and another female flight attendant, seemed put out when passengers asked questions about the food offerings, as though we should already have known what was being served. One passenger had just woken up and seemed confused and the flight attendant was quite impatient with him. The flight attendants were quite stingy with the water and only poured out a little bit at a time; they also came very infrequently, which meant that we had to keep pressing the call button to ask for more (which made us feel bad about bothering them). They would not give us a whole bottle of water, saying that there was not enough, but did, when we asked, provide multiple plastic cups of water at a time, which just seemed wasteful (of cups, not water). The timing of drink service was also perplexing: they did not offer drinks at least 45 minutes before or after bringing the boxes of salty "movie snacks"."

Prós: "Nice crew"
Contras: "A few peoples televisions, including my own, just stopped working midway through the flight. The crew didn't offer us much to drink (like they didn't walk around offering water enough). Also paid extra for seating which we did not get the seats I paid for pretty sure."

Prós: "It arrived in Greece on time, good landing."
Contras: "Arrived in Greece for daughter's wedding. They lost all 14 family members luggage for 4 days!! Received our luggage 6PM the night before wedding, which caused terrible distress for the Bride especially and all 14 family members. Imagine being in Greece for 4 days with nothing but the clothes you traveled in. Horrible!! Will never buy a BA ticket again."

Contras: "(1) Some in-flight entertainment issues which meant it wasn't working for about 30minites. (2) I know the crew have a hard job and have many difficult passengers to deal with. Even so I do find there's a bit too much "attitude" shown by some members of staff. On my flight to London, a mother with a young child wanted hot water and the staff (middle aged British male) was trying to tell her repeatedly she should say "please" when she asks. She was asking politely so this behaviour was rather poor in my view."

Prós: "The staff was friendly. The food was great. There was plenty of entertainment to choose from."

Prós: "Comfortable night, pleasant crew. The food was pretty good, and the flight attendants were attentive. I didn't have to ask for refills on drinks, etc. They also seem to get along well with each other, which makes for more relaxing trip."

Prós: "This flight did not have much enjoyment due to the extreme delay overseas."
Contras: "There was an ill passenger onboard as we were flying mid Atlantic - instead of flying the aircraft onward we turned around to St.Johns (understandable) however once we arrived we roughly sat on the plane for three hours after the passenger walked off the aircraft conscious. There was paperwork delaying the craft to fly, the re-fueling took over an 1 hour due to not knowing how much fuel to put into this larger plane. There were also difficulties on the plane other then a passenger being ill, the craft had some engine issues after landing in St.Johns - the pilot tried to keep crowd control by lying to the passengers. As we finally got up into the air, knowing that we missed our connecting flight to Budapest from london already- it was stressful. Then as we approached Europe we were told we have to land in Dublin due to the crew working too many hours... Which the pilot had to of known as we departed from St. John's yet he told us we were on our way to London. We waited in the airport in Dublin Ireland for at least 3-4 hours we were told another crew would bring us to London at 3pm yet we didn't even board until 5-6pm. We finally got to London 12 hours after we were suppose to arrive. And to our final destination 14 hours after we were suppose to arrive. I expect a complete refund from this flight from JFK- Budapest. It was the worst experience ever."

Prós: "The crew was awesome"
Contras: "Figure out how to shorten flight"

Prós: "When we were unable to travel due to Corona Virus restrictions, Ethiopian gave us a full refund even though we had a non-refundable ticket, and they were lovely about it when they did it. A+, hope I'll get a chance to actually fly with them soon."

Prós: "we had an overnight stay in addis ababa so we got a free accommodation in town, that was so great, a chance to see town and get a good night sleep before our next flight. the plane is big with screens so you can watch movies, the seat is comfortable, even for a tall guy like me (1.9 m)."
Contras: "It did took a lot of time since we landed until we got our bus to take us to town to our hotel. we waited in the airport for more than one hour, it was late, and we were tired. but after we got to the hotel, it was perfect"

Contras: "The arrangement of the airport was disconcerting. To get to your gate you have to pass a another security point that you can not leave. The area was akin to a cattle yard. No bathroom, water, or amenities. You had to stay in your pen until boarding. Duty free was not allowed and had to be purchased on the plane for an additional cost. Not to mention the whole stopping in Dublin, Ireland for fuel without notice. There was nothing in my paperwork about it and we were only told to stay in our seats for the next hour or so while they refueled. We didn’t do that on the flight over was that was worrying and we were given no additional information."

Prós: "The overall work ethics and the ease of boarding was awesome as well as time line, for hotel transfer due to layoff time was also excellent"

I have to wait till they all got settled. Only when them to start the service they were able to give me some water. I was really thirsty otherwise, I wouldn't have to ask for three members. I think it's important that they respond more promptly and do a quick service considering the long flight we have."
