Perfect location for side seeing and museums, especially Louvre as well as for shopping There is no real lobby and reception desk - instead rather ridiculous two stands for staff
Location Room service was rude, the bathroom smelled really bad and it stunk up the bedroom. breakfast was not good nor tasty. The bed was not king or queen size, it was two single beds put togather, very uncomfortable
Very clean dust free environment due to no rugs on the floor. Excellent staff service. Small hotel, with very personal service. Very quiet room. Excellent location. At 400 a night, it seemed pricey but I don't visit Paris enough to know the going rates. I walked into another 4 star and asked about rates and they were 25 to 30 % cheaper. The quality of the service at L'Empire is so good though that it was worth the extra money. Also, their web site on Hotels.com listed shuttle service which they didn't have, although to their credit, they found me a shuttle service, although in the end I chose to take a car to the airport.
The staff were very nice and helpful and spoke good english. The breakfasts were very good, we also liked the nice linen used and the comfortable bed. The hotel reception area is not very welcoming. There is only an old couch and 2 very small reception desks with poor quality music playing. My first impression of the hotel was not good, they could have made the reception area much more inviting - get rid of the couch!! We also didnt like the shower as it was hand held! - makes it hard to wash your hair, thats if there is any hot water as on 2 occasions in the morning there was no hot water, especially annoying on the morning of departure before a 24 hour flight home!
Hotels name is not visible from the street
Everything was excellent. Staff are very helpful & facilities great. The location is superb, close to Louvre, Pont Neuf and Metro but very quiet in rooms.
Every single member of staff was very friendly and very helpful. The hotel was in a perfect location, between all the main sights to see. The foyer was a little plain and not very welcoming.
Design and location food
The room we had on our second night was very nice. It was as we had booked - a Classic room. I don't understand. If you don't want us to write about a bad experience - which we had - why ask?
The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were exceptional. They did everything within their power to make your stay more enjoyable and to assist you in any matter.
Design and Decoration Broken Lift more than 1 Day (If Compare with this Level)
Compact hotel with attentive staff. Space at a premium but efficiently designed with modern baths.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They also spoke excellent English. Brilliant location for the Louvre.
Small, clean, kind service, central Better acces to internet and printeracess
fantastic location and friendliness of desk staff the mini elevator, but I think this is common thoughout hotels in France
Excellent Rooms, excellent location
Location Breakfasts is very poor. Staff in bufett one of the shifts is rude staff
the location was good to get to marais and to st germain as well as of course the louvre so easy. room was quiet, clean large enough in paris terms. so was happy and will stay again. that breakfast is extra. but that is typical of france. also dont like that you have to take your bags by yourself. im too old for that nonsense.
Extreme helpfulness of most staff. Reference to 'Hot breakfast' Abscence of coffee/tea facilities in room (Neither of these important).
The worst hotel Old smelly rooms , bad carpet dirty, wood very bad
Location and comfort.
The welcoming and very helpful staff, cleanliness of rooms, and above all, the excellent location. The room service was poor. We had a baby and we used to order warm milk twice a day. They gave us hot milk one day, watered down the other, cold another, and so on, even though every day we asked for a glass of warm milk. I guess it all depends on who is on the shift.
Great traditional typical parisian 4* hotel. Excellent location. Wanted 100 euros to stay until 1:00pm for check-out. Offered me 12 noon free.
O.K., I know its owned by Hyatt but It still felt boutiquey and small with a personal touch (as if not owned by Hyatt). The staff focused on attentive service, from the front desk, to room service, etc. Its clearly part of the staff culture. There is an intimate feel as if they all know each other--and everything about you. When I spoke to one front desk person they know a discussion I had with another the day before. The Concierge was amazing and made recommendations and the actual reservations and when things were not available made good judgments on his own for changes. We felt like they know us and were watching out for us. It is not that big really which helps in this case. The rooms felt well maintained with a terrific balance of old world and new. Highly Recommended!!!!
Excellent location, helpful staff, clean rooms, large and light bathrooms, really french atmosphere, close to most of the sightseeings and fashion boutiques. The decoration of rooms is a bit tired, but this is a problem of the most of the hotels in the centre of Paris.
Concierge services are exceptional - special thanks to Eric, Remy, Magaly.
Location, nice atmosphere On the expensive side
The best about hte hotel is its location - just next to the Louvre, between two squares, walking distance to everything I wanted to visit (never took a taxi or any other kind of transport). The receptionists were English-speaking and nice and helpful. The room was spacey (stayed in a junior suit), as well as the bathroom, cosy and clean. In fact, everything in the room, as well as the service, could be compared to a 5* hotel (including the cosmetics in the bathroom). Plus, the free WiFi is a nice addition to all. The hall and the corridors need renewing - the first impression of the hotel lowers ones expectations because of the old and a bit dirty common spaces in the hotel. Another thing, is that the air-conditioning was poorly working and it was a bit hot, but I just turned it off and opened the windows from time to time. Also, unpleasant surprice was the thinnes of the walls - I could hear every slam of a door and footsteps, however, no one really made noise, so I slept like a baby. One more thing about noise is that the windows of my room overlooked an inner yard and when opening the window there was a bussying sound from the air-conditioning or other machines. Overall, these were quite minor problems and didn't spoil my stay in the least!
The quality of the rooms, decoration, and space are far far less than shown in the pictures and indicated in the hotel desciption.
Great location ......just a short walk from some fantastic places of great interest. Buzzing cafe night life right on the doorstep too....good atmosphere in the hotel... It seemed expensive and the quality failed to match the expense....certainly for a pound based UK visitor. There was a shortage of helpful welcoming staff....particularly at reception where you face an unacceptable wait. Irritating.
it was next to the metro station
Beautiful, cosy room
Very friendly personell. The Hotel is unbeatable due to its location near the Luvre. Typical view out of the window onto the inner walls to the oposite building. But therefore very quiet.
Very helpful staff, very calm street (no street noise at all), good breakfast Bath tub very old, it was not so pleasant to use it
location the room
There is nothing to like Dirty , nasty, could not use bathrooms because they where nasty ... Mold grown everywhere .. Floors unvacumed ... Hunks of human hair on carpet ... I asked the manager if she would let her family stay there , she said no ... Had to find a new hotel
Great location walking distance to the Louvre and Notre Dome and easy access to subways. The staff were kind and helpful and the building is what you'd expect in the 1st district of Paris (hint the elevators are extremely small). I would definitely stay again when back in Paris.
We had an exccellent value for money, were up-graded in a large and classy room with large bathroom (rare in paris). Very central and calm side street Not really
Staff is very kind; location is perfect for visiting Paris; the access to the public transport is also very good. On Saturday evening, the street is very noisy due to the restaurants that are open till the next morning. The rooms could be cleaned overall, on the window sill, under the desk,...
The hotel is very well situated for all principle sightseeing and is quite. Staff are very friendly and for Paris the room was large and lighting was very good. Only complaint was the high cost of the buffet breakfast. You were only allowed either 1 coissant OR 1 piece of bread with the express breakfast, but you did get fruit juice, yogurt and coffee as well.
It's just so expensive and the rooms are super small, the elevator is as tiny as it can be. It's just not very comfortable. For the price i was expecting something better
Very conveneient location, staff was helpful Rooms were quite small
Friendliness of staff Close to sights No bar Rooms were a little small
The hotel was very convenient to the location of my business meeting. The staff was excellent and I would choose this hotel again if the opportunity presented itself.
Location size of the room, very small
very clean wifi access not free
Hotel staff are very polite and helpful. The room tastefully decorated and clean. None
excellent location, very helpful staff, easy walk to most important sites and the latin district rooms are on the small side, but normal for Paris and for the age of the building; hotel worn out a little; closeness to St. Eustache church and gardens atracts homeless population
Location only It was 2 star
This hotel was extremely comfortable, I was delighted with the location of the hotel and would recommend it to friends. Hotel rooms very samll
I enjoyed the proximity to where I needed to meet people and see a few sites. I just felt that the internet should have been free of charge.
the staff were helpfulf and the hotel is in a perfect locationn to view to city. i would stay again!
The staff were very helpful and friendly; breakfast was excellent. The location is just brilliant right in the centre of Paris and near to all the sites. The rooms are very small but they are comfortable.
The hotel was very well located, basic but clean and it had a nice breakfast. It had absolutely no charm but for a busy tourist eager to see as many sites as possible, it served its purpose very well. Just need to be aware that it is a place to lay your head, not an experience. The hotel lacked any charm at all...it was truly just a place to sleep. The walls seemed very thin and we could hear our neighbours. There was also construction right outside the window and we were not informed of this in advance or even at the time of arrival.
From your welcome, to daily needs, all the way to check out, the staff were outstanding. The concierge made great recommendations, the doormen polite and efficient, and the housekeeping staff attentive. The rooms were well appointed and the bed (and high count linens) were very comfortable. The location was a huge plus: one block from my business meetings and two blocks from the Louvre. The rooms were on the smaller side but certainly not squished like some French hotels.
his location the facilities are old TV, bathroom, No aircondition...
location room is too smaill
Staff were helpful and efficient. Hotel was ideally located for sightseeing. The end of the bed was a bit too close to the window and passage was difficult:
Location is v. good
Rooms are clean and wonderfully decorated in muted colors and real paintings. The layout is very thoughtful so that rooms (smallish given this is Paris) do not feel cramped. Spending extra to book a delux room is probably worth the cost. We stayed at the courtyard and the street side rooms on different nights and both were very quiet. The location of the hotel was perfect for sightseeing and shopping. We also found the front desk and concierge staff to be very professional and friendly. Breakfast selections are limited but more than adequate. You should be aware that this is a boutique hotel and does not have a big lobby space or a restaurant for dinner, but perhaps because of it, the stay feels like you are staying at a very wealthy friend's house. A very special boutique hotel in Paris. We will definitely stay here again in our next visit to Paris. There is nothing that we didn't like.
Friendly staff and excellent location Though the room was at the back, we could hear the air conditionning system just under our window and our neighbours a bit too much.
Cannot beat the location. 1/2 block from the Louvre, metro, shops, restaurants. Excellent rate for location. Balcony in the room.
location small rooms, no view outside
There is not much that I liked during my stay at the hotel besides the convienent location. It was around the corner from the Louvre. The bathroom floor was disgusting. The shower and sink were clean but the toilet & floor had an extreme amount of hair on them. The hotel staff wasnt as friendly as reported on this website and the rooms were very small-which I could get over but not the disgusting floor. The fact that I had to walk around in shower shoes is pretty bad. Since the bathroom floor was one of the first things I saw I think it ruined my view of the hotel. I started to notice the little things after that. I would not stay there again and think it was way over priced for its amenities.
Excellent location Small rooms
Location is great and the staff is helpful. Hallways and rooms are very small
Excellent central location with easy access to main Paris attractions; helpful and friendly staff; good choice of local bars and restaurants.
The best location in Paris
The location is excellent and Room 100 was a really good size and well appointed. We made a booking for a non-smoking room and were given a room which smelt really badly of smoke and had an ashtray and burn marks on the furniture. The front desk staff finally agreed to move us (on first trying to tell them, they said it wasn't their fault and there was nothing they could do), but we had to move rooms twice during our stay. For the price of the hotel, service and rooms were poor.
Location is so convenient to visit various museums, especially a few minutes walk to Louvre. At night, it was very silent we could sleep very well. Hotel staffs were kind. If we will visit Paris again, we would like to stay at this hotel.
friendly staff, interior design beds are awful, there is a plastic cover between matrace and blanket which is maybe good for keeping the matrace clean but doesn't really add to comfort
The location (right in the center of town, close to the Seine). Everything you need is present and relatively clean. There was a complimentary bottle of wine in the room. Staff is friendly and helpfull. This was the smallest hotel room I ever saw. They crammed as many rooms in the hotel as is possible. The corridors are claustrophobic and the ceiling is incredibly low: just 5cm above the top of the door. Standing up in the bath to take a shower there was just two fingers width between the top of my head and the ceiling (I am 1m82). Everything is as small as it can possibly be, leaving the impression that you're in room for midgets instead of humans. The bed was not long enough - my feet were sticking out from above the ankles - not wide enough, and very stiff (worst night ever). The only thing that makes this a "charming" hotel (as the ad says) are the woodcarvings on the bedtables. 2/3 of the price is for the location of the hotel.
Quaint hotel with a great location. Convenient to major sites and metro. Staff was helpful and absolutely delightful. Would recommend this hotel!
Cute little place wonderfully located right by the Louvre and bus transportation. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very brightly decorated but perfect for what you would expect in Paris. European elevators in general are much to be desired. You can barely fit 2 people in them. Did not like that we had to leave the room key with attendant each time we left although it was very easy to retrieve upon our return.
Comfortable and very accessible location. Breakfast in the room not a plus sign for us due to lack of space. a small breakfast room would be much nicer, maybe convert one room into a break nook.
Its location is superb! The room was tiny, smaller than most I've seen in big cities in Europe. Its price was not as small as the room would have dictated. It was also very noisy! We could hear the conversations of our neighbors while they ate breakfast early both mornings. And the street noise was loud too, although fortunately our room looked out onto a less busy road.
The fabulous location. Could have done with coffee/tea making facilities in the room.
The location and the comfort of the bed. The room was so small I could hardly turn around. It was really unacceptable for another stay. The shower was so small I could hardly get in and close the door. I should have been warned about this room before I got there, so I could have made a decision about whether to stay or not.
Close proximity to sites and metro. Great staff recco's on things to do and places to eat, etc.
The stuff is very helpful and the location is superb.
location, next to the Louvre.carparking in front of the hotel
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the apartment since there were 5 people, and the room was very spacious and comfortable.
A good clean basic hotel in an excellent position for the centre of Paris.Lots of nice cafes/restaurants in the area and metro 5 mins walk away.Basic rooms - but for 89 Euros in the centre of Paris its great value.Would stay again
we liked the fact the hotel was right in the centre of paris. at reception we were told we were on the 5 floor there was no lift as we began walking up the stairs there was in fact 10 full flights of stairs to the room and no tea making facilities.
Confortable bed Even for backpackers is too ugly. They should not charge more than EUR 35 per day and for sure not to be announce in Booking.com
The hotel was close to the metro and many of the major tourist attractions. The room was not tidy. The toilets/bathroom smelled of urine. We had no hot water on one morning because there is only a limited amount for all the hotel guests. We didn't get up early enough and therefore had no hot water.
Location of hotel was great Lack of any customer service - anything beyond getting a pamphlet was too much trouble. Nothing in the room worked i.e. Hot water was hit and miss, the chair, bed, room safe, TV and wardrobe were all broken. The room was clean, but linen was stained, pillows well past their use-by date and poorly made beds. Smoking in rooms and the narrow unlit stairs were the only way to exit - a fire Hazard!
The location was excellent - it was great for seeing the city. It was very run down and old. We had to walk 112 steps to our rooms (If we had known this we would not have booked). After using my hairdryer, I pulled it out of the electrical socket and the whole outlet came out of the wall, wires and all. The man at the reception was not particularly informative or interested in helping us.
It's all about the location. Also, we got an actual double bed, not two singles pushed together like most other budget holidays. The hotel completely lacked any sense of atmosphere. While the staff were polite and helpful, a bit of effort to make the lobby and entry more appealing would do the world of good.
Staff at reception were unhelpful. Telephone in room did not work
5 mins to the louvre museum and metro station.supermarket close to the hotel.cheap breakfast for 1.90euro(1 bread+1 coffee) ,sandwics at 2.70to 4euros,5mins from the hotel. m,water for 1to 2.50euro(1500ml) base on shop.delicious cake around the place.Best location for visitor to lourve museum.can choose with bf or no breakfast.big luggage store for guest and safety because staff always around. shower room & WC is small but still fine for trip whole day outside and back to hotel for sleep.trash basket only 1 in the room.light on coridor not automatic or by sensor,so you have to switch on the light on every floor(coridor)yourself.no lift, and every floor only have 2 to 4 rooms in maximum.no AC in room but we went on sept 7 to 9th,so fine for us.
We were very dissatisfied with St. Honore and transferred to another hotel for the second night of our stay. The stairs were dangerous with our luggage as there was no lift. Also paint peeling on ceiling and rooms and bathrooms very small. I did not like anything about this hotel.
The hotel was very clean and in a great location. The staff was very quick to address any complaints Old and badly in need of a refurbishment. First room we were in had peeling wall paper and extremely beat up carpets. Second room was an improvement but still outdated.
Great location, wifi worked excellent, huge bathroom, decent size room, cheap for the location. Everything in the room was old and worn out. Windows leaked air terribly, heat was not turned on when we arrived, took a while to warm up the room. Hair dryer looked like something about 50 years old, barely any air coming out, sinks were cracked and one of them did not drain properly.
Staff are nice. Location is excellent. Exterior of the building is nice. Aside from the lobby, the interior of the building needs an update. No A/C and the high temperatures during my stay were in the mid 80s. There should have been a fan in the room.
Hotel is great. Needs some renovation. Staff very friendly, especially a bartender named Raphael. This boy is so inviting that he will continue to attract more custumers to the Normandy. A suggestion: Room service is poor and the hotel rely on an outside caterer which can be very inconveniencing when a guest needs to dine at a late hour.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Great location. It seems as if the hotel hasn't been updated since the 1940's. The entire facility could use a facelift. A 2 star facilities with a 4 star staff.
We just checked out yesterday. The location was perfect. The staff speaks fluent English and will happily give directions. They allowed us to keep our luggage there before check-in time so we could wander around. We lost our room key somewhere and they made us a new one, no questions asked and no extra charge. The room included shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, mini fridge, hair dryer and safe. Shower, sink, toilet, TV, bed, WiFi, everything was fine. The room temperature stayed very comfortable. The windows open to the street, so you get a perfect view for people watching. It's super close to the Louvre! Plenty of shopping and dining nearby. We were able to walk most of our trip. I felt safe in the room and the surrounding streets. I'd stay here again! The hair dryer was very, very weak and old, however it got the job done. It was like a hose coming out of the wall. If I did it again, I'd still choose to leave mine at home and use the hotel's. It smelled like cigarettes, but that wasn't a huge deal. Everyone in Europe smokes, so you're going to smell like it regardless. It's not super fancy, but it was perfect for what we needed. The decor is very Napoleonic, maybe even a little gaudy, but I thought it was neat. Kind of a Wes Anderson feel. It was clean. Just old. We spend very little time in the hotel room anyway. There is a lot of street noise, but with the windows shut, it blocks out most (except for the horns, but I got used to it!). I'm a light sleeper and didn't have trouble sleeping.
I enjoyed the breakfast as well as the access to the areas close by. The hotel is in need of multiple repairs, or at least finish the ones in the guests rooms. My room had multiple hole and cracks in the wall, the bathroom had a shower curtain pulled out of the tile as well.
When I checked in they were great. Friendly, helpful, quick, and responsive. Good location, and great neighbourhood. The room was outdated but a great size, and bathroom a good size. I had a lot of storage space and free wifi is always a plus. Once I checked in, I found BOTH lock boxes in my room didn't work. There was a hole in the wall where the AC tube went, meaning it never got really properly cold. I asked for cutlery one morning and the room service phone attendant hung up on me, and concierge told me to get it myself.
1. Great location: close to Louvre, metro, and places to eat. Great for being able to explore many parts of Paris by walking or taking the close metro line. The nearby Metro stop can also take you to the train station quickly which is very helpful. 2. Staff: Very kind and helpful, patient, understanding, and are very knowledgable. They made out first stay in Paris much better. 3. Overall: Good hotel for a trip to Paris if you want to see a lot in a short time due to location. Also, if you are unfamiliar with Paris, the staff are very good and will help you find your way around, buy tickets to shows, get to museums, find places to eat, and do anything else you want to do in such a wonderful city. Really enjoyed my stay, besides the room (Rooms are clean though). 1. Misleading: I'm sure the hotel was nice, many years ago. The entrance and lobby are actually quite nice (as you can see by the pictures), but the rooms are literally falling apart. 2. Broken faucet (would not drain water), Broken shower (the water sprayer would not stay up high enough, so unless you are 4ft tall or a small child showering is a difficult task resulting in a bathroom filled with water, Broken door (bathroom door would not close, annoying if staying with family) 3. Room: Hot (no air conditioning), very old looking (and smelling) 4. 4 stars or 2 stars?: The hotel is advertised as 4 stars (outside the hotel you can also see 4 bright shining stars) but should be 2 stars until the facilities are improved. However, with such a great location and service, I can see how it was 4 stars. Years later, It is 2 (maybe 3 if you get a nice room). After renovation this hotel will be worthy of 4 stars and will be the perfect hotel for a leisure or business trip to Paris.
The people were great, the rooms were quaint, The bar was pretty You can not beat their location 40 steps to the Louvre'. The bed was uncomfortable and small. The bar was expensive, The rooms need over hauling, wall paper peeling from the walls, the paint had not been touched in years and the shower door and towel holders were falling off the walls.
The location I staid at this hotel in 1981. Today the place llks exactly the same. Old furniture!!! Need to remove old wallpaper!! Hotel has 4 stars due tothe lication Will not staythere again
LOCALIZATION - CENTRE OF PARIS, COUPLE METERS FROM LOUWR, APARTAMENT WITH FULLY EQUIPED KITCHEN, TWO ROOMS, SEPARATE WC AND BATHROOM OLD FASHIONED, "LOW" THREE STARS, NOBODY CLEAN ROOMS, TOWELS NOT CHANGED FOR FOUR DAYS, TOO EXPENSIVE
Great location. Staff was very helpful. Room was spacious.
Perfect location, very helpful and friendly receptionists, quite a large room, comfortable to stay with a small kid I would expect more frequent room cleaning and change of towels
I researched the place on Tripadvisor and read praise for room 306 so I requested it and got it: wonderful! and more than I expected:a spacious sunny apartment with lots of typical Parisian windows onto a fountain and square. Staff were always professional and helpful, their indications for fast orientation on the Metro were invaluable. Not really dislikes but suggestions:While facilities were fine in the small but spotless kitchen, a few basics, like a salt and pepper pot (preferably full) and even a little sugar or cream would not cost the hotel much and make arrivals easier for their guests; also in the bathroom a mug for toothbrushes would have been useful.
Location Pretty pricy to get two single beds pushed together and called a king size
Nothing Everything. It is a royal rip off. They charge 5 Star prices for a 2 Star property, which is totally incomplete. No armchair in room, air conditioning which was off and the hotel is on a very noisy street, no tall glasses, just tiny wine glasses.A tiny old fashioned TV set
The location was perfect for discovering Paris. The apartment was equipped well for the stay. Air conditioning was a welcome relief.
Great location. Apartment - Space for a group of 3-4 people. Free internet and TV lounge.
The room was beautifully decorated, spacious and elegant. A very comfortable bed. Great location.
We liked the fact that the hotel was in the very center of the city and all the famous sightseeing objects were easy to reach. No, everything was good.
Exellent location and very convenient to shopping ,eating and going to any hot spots in Paris. The room is very clean and kitchen is convenient . The staff are kind and friendly and can speak English very well.
Location, Staff, Cleanliness Overpriced
location was close to the louve and was affordable
Location Room very small.
We chose the Hotel because of the location and it was a great price. We were very happy with our stay. Some of the doors are heavy which are hard to get through with your luggage.
very quiet, rooms were very comfortable The elevator doesn't reach the top (fifth) floor of the hotel which is where our rooms were. It wasn't a problem for us but could be for some people and they should know that ahead.
The location was really great!!!! Just in front oc the Louvre. Staff was not friendly
Extremely convenient location near the Louvre, the islands, restaurants and several metro stops and easy to locate hotel when walking around. Check-in and check-out was convenient; staff was friendly. Bedroom is decently sized considering we spent most of our days out of the hotel and only needed to sleep. Beds were extremely comfortable and there were no noise disturbances. Bathrooms are small and not the most updated, but are kept clean. The amenities (towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner) were not of high quality, but at least they are there.
the lockation We stayed at room 603 it means on the top floor. The elevator is not reaching this floor so it was very difficult with the suitcases. Because of the ceiling slope we could not stand vertically in most of the room area. It is not fair to charge that price for this kind of room.
Great location; clean room. The reception desk staff was very helpful, especially when we had trouble getting a taxi. The room size, but that's typical of Paris.
Fine location. Noise from metro systen underground. Noise from waterpipes when in use in other rooms.
It is very close to Louvre, has an excellent location. It is not the best place for comfort but relatively cheap for the area that the hotel is in.
location is convenient, walking distance to Louvre, Opera, and variety of restaurants and caffes.Don`t miss Italian Caffe for breakfast, just 200 meters from the hotel, and costs per person about 4 Euros (Juice, Coffe and cake or croasson) Bathroom requires extensive cleaning as some aspestous spots showing at the corners of the shower, elevator requires a motion sensor to avoid slaming door at luggage and people.
Great place, just a walking distance from Louvre. Very interesting design of the rooms, great looking hotel. a lot of places to eat near. Especially a 100 Japaneese restaurants. Great stay for the money. You will save on taxi, as you can walk to all the sightseeing objects. - it says that internet is complimentory and when I asked for Wifi code I was said it is free, but afterwords I was charged money. So know this Wifi is for money not free. No parking near. Tiny little room.
wonderful location, really close to Louvre and Operà. Lot of restaurant in the surroundings (if you like japanese, rue S. Anne is full of them). nothing
Nice and relaxed with no hassle None that I noticed
The location is excellent
The staff were very friendly, pleasant and very helpful which made my stay most enjoyable. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There were no drawer units in my room
location is excellent. They need to change beds.
very very good.
proximity to the heart of paris, a few steps to the louve, trains, shops, and travelarama. No, it was very nice. Has everything one needed including lots of room, which I wasnt expecting. a nice bonus.
Liked the location, just a block from the Louvre and metro stop. So in between Champs de Elysees and Notre Dame, also close to Opera House. We were on first floor, next to the street so very noisy. AC didn't work, pillows were hard. Certainly is nothing fancy, but perfunctory if all you're doing is sightseeing Paris and not using the room except for sleeping. Breakfast was average too. Myself, would not stay there again. Would give it 2-2.5 stars.
Very convenient as it takes less than 5 mins from Louvre station where you can go any where. Very quiet. Room too small.
Friendly staff, clean room, fantastic location. Only bad point was a faulty shower. However, on advising the staff the problems was dealt with promptly.
Brilliant location for the Louvre, the Pompidou, the Comedie Francaise and Notre Dame, as well as being close to the Metro for easy access to the rest of Paris. Excellent value, very clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Many cafes, bakeries and restaurants very close by.
clean, friendly and helpful staff. No elevator to the top floor. For carring a heavy suitcase to clamber the narrow stairs is not easy. Out for hot water in one day.
friendly and helpful staff while the room was comfortable and clean, the shower and sink both had drainage problems. we ended up showering with 4 inches of dirty water backing up from the drain
it is clean comfort safe and good location
Good location tommny of the tourist attractions in Paris. Easy access to Metro and rer. Close to Open top Buss route and River Boat Station. The perfume used in the room was very strong and gave me hayfever.
The staff was amazing! Rooms were very clean and quiet. The room was small but it was nice.
The location is perfect in the centre of Paris, close to RER A The room was pretty small but for me alone no problem. for a couple it is too small.
The people in care were very friendly and helpful.
Great location, friendly staff, close to lots of shops and food (restaurants and bakeries), and of course close to the Louvre. The hall lights are on a sensor which is kind of creepy. Bathroom pretty small. Construction next door woke me up early but that's not the hotels fault.
The style and location of the hotel were great. Walking distance to many great places and metro. Very friendly staff. Very clean and stylish.
