Very good location. Nice rooms and friendly stuff. Not understandable room cleaning schedule. One day You have to wait until 16:00 for cleaned room, but for example on Saturday and Sunday somebody tried to access the room starting from 9:00 and every 20 min.
Lovely staff, very helpful. Rooms were very good. Great location. Breakfast was expensive.
location to nearby facilities and downtown length of time to check in
The rooms were very nice and clean, at a level one would expect to pay a lot more...
seperate toilet from bathroom came in handy when we had friends over to get ready to go out in the evening; the location was very good for Moulin Rouge/Sacre Cour area; quiet staff was not very helpful with recommendations for dinner
Great location and near metro stop. Easy parking. Plenty of restarants nearby.
One employee from the breakfast room was extremely rude.
staff helpful, ease of access to restaurants and central paris coffee making facilities needed in room
Rooms are very nice with plenty of space which are Modern and clean. Rooms contain kettle with tea and coffee, fridge and safe which are all free. The breakfast was not fantastic and quite expensive.
breakfirst room not good
Superb reception staff. Very helpful. Arrived at 0845 after a 12 hour train journey from Berlin - room immediately available as was breakfast!! Nothing
The hotel is clean (except below) and the staff is friendly and helpful. Let me preface this with saying that they are renovating the hotel at this time. the location of the hotel is in a not so great area near the red light district. that being said, the hotel itself sits off the street and is gated with 24 hour security. The room was clean and modern but our batch room was old. Because of this, there was rust and mildew marks all over the bathtub.
its location and peaceful very small clothes wardrobe
The staff were great. The breakfast was yummy.walking distance to Moulin Rouge and Sacred heart. Nice selection of restaurants near the hotel. Close to the Big Bus tourist. route N/A everything was goog
Great staff and nice rooms. Walls could be soundproofed better.
Good value for money: family room spacious enough, good breakfast buffet, quiet location, close to metro station. Handy to be able to park you car safely in a garage (paying service). The bathroom is quite aged and could use some modernisation.
excuse, I don't understand this question... see above
Good location, relatively quiet, overall a good experience. some of the staff could be much more helpful
The hotel is nice and cozy. You enter through a secure gate to get to the hotel entrance. The lobby is small and personable and the staff was very helpful. The elevator is super tiny. One person with luggage could get in easily, otherwise one must wait on its return. We were up one floor, so taking the stairs wasn't an issue at all. The room was clean and nicely laid out. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the hotel's entrance. The bed was positioned to have a view of the balcony and outside. Having the door open with the cool breeze come through was very peaceful. The room was quite small, but for my boyfriend and I, it was perfectly fine. There is a small hallway from the bed area to the bathroom that has a door that you can close for extra privacy and quietness. The bathroom was nice and bright. The shower was great. Nice water pressure and temperature. Breakfast was included in our stay and I only got breakfast one day, but the morning that I had it, it was good. A nice selection of foods to eat as well as breakfast drinks. It was a bit noisy in the room from people in the hallways. Made it seem as if they were in the room too. The location can be a little iffy for families as it is off (or part of?) the "red light district". It gets kind of noisy outside of the security gate late at night/really early in the morning from patrons out and about having a good time, but it wasn't frustratingly noisy enough to get upset about. Also, we had our balcony door open, so we probably heard more than usual.
Easy access to anywhere in Paris - metro at top of road. Within walking distance of Montmartre and loads of restaurants and bars. Lively area yet quiet in the hotel. We had a great New Year!
It had some decent restaurants around and the staff were very friendly. It was a little too far from the main section of Paris.
Very welcoming and proactive staff, nice (albeit very small) rooms...in general they have made a very good use of the space they have. It is a very neat little hidden corner in Paris... It is a bit too far away for everyday back and forth to and from Paris...be sure to budget extra time for the commute, or money for taxis
All the staff were wonderful and extremely polite and helpful. wardrobe very small but for 1 or 2 nights you don't need too much space.
Unique hotel, excellent for a special occasion and would recommend to others Nothing
The style was wonderful, the staff very helpful.gretta chamber and lovely jacuzzi!!
The rooms are beautiful and very clean. Staff was tremendous. All the little things were done well.
The design of the room and the hotel itself were absolutely amasing and unique. Thanks a lot to the friendly stuff and for the welcome champagne.
The room was so unique and we had our own jacuzzi. The staff were all really helpful and friendly.
The atmosphere of the room is great. It's nicely decorated. Bed is really comfortable, light system perfect for romantic moments. Also, TV on the wall is great. However the rooms were small for the price you pay and I missed small things like a kettle or a coffee machine. Not all the rooms as said in the description have a jacuzzi bathtub. Regarding breakfast or dinning in the room,I didn't see any information on the room although I didn't ask so I'm not sure if that's a real possibility.
Beautiful room with a lot of at atmosphere.
unique design of rooms, suited to young couples. small hotel, no real bar/restauran.
Staff were excellent at all times, room was very comfortable and decor modern/chic. Location very good, with plenty of nice restaurants nearby.
Wonderful location, quiet street, beautiful foyer, lovely rooms. Close to Sacre Coeur, close to restaurants and other amenities. All very tasteful. Male receptionist on morning of 7 September was notably pleasant and helpful. Receptionist having long, loud conversations on the telephone while we were trying to relax in the otherwise peaceful foyer. The hotel was a bit pricey even compared with London, for example, accentuated of course by the weak pound against the euro.
Great location in the charming Montmarte, agree with all of the positive comments made about the hotel, after staying in good but somewhat impersonal hotels throughout Europe, Le Relais stood out as a small delightful and comfortable place to stay and explore Paris, not to mention Vincent who was as expected charming and helpful, as were all of the staff who made us feel welcome, would happily stay there again. Have to agree the breakfast is pricey for what was on offer, so like others have done we just walked around the corner to one of the many cafes.but this is the only negative in what was a very positive stay
good clean room and the staff no
The peace and quiet of the hotel yet within walking distance of many restaurants and places of interest
Location Cost of breakfast when good bakeries are across the road. Why not just offer coffee and croissant for around 5 Euros as that's all most people want but are not prepared to pay 13 Euros.
Location, cleanliness of the room, very pleasant and helpful staff.
Very quiet room. Great for sleeping off jet lag. Excellent location. Lots to walk to. Easy to reach by metro.
Very helpful reception staff, comfortable room and ideal location with lots of restaurants within walking distance Noise from lift on occasion
Personalized service, hotel location Small rooms/bathrooms
The very helpful and welcoming staff Our groundfloor bedroom was a little noisy
minimalist design, spacious room, good location, excellent customer service lack of fridge and coffee making facilities - shower's a bit messy
The location is amazing - after viewing so much of paris - returning to blanche/pigalle is like beginning a new party but the hotel is soundproof so is up to you whether you want to continue or go to sleep. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy but very small - just the space for queen bed and two little side walks to get in it. The bathroom is the same as a big rainforest shower takes up a lot of space but to be honest it's worthed.
The staff was excellent - very friendly and good restaurant recommendations in the area. The rooms were clean and the showers were awesome. There is a strange odor in the elevator.
Room was great, staff was great While we could see the Moulin Rougue from our place, the location isn't the nicest considering all the shops around it.
Resteraunt and church up the hill Lack of help with resteraunts from staff
.Large bath tub. Upgraded us to a larger room for free. Area was sketchy. Bathtub no shower. Wifi wasn't great. Large room wasn't really big.
Clean, safe, friendly, great location
Location, cleanliness Our room opened onto the dining room so was noisy in the morning
The atmosphere of the hotel No
Clean , modern good location
The room was comfortable and cosy because of nicely selected colors and materials. For Paris and the price it was quite large. Nice and clean bathroom. Our room was noisy because of the thin door towards the corridor. There was no cupboard or shelf to put clothes
View from suite across Paris was fantastic. You could see the Eiffel Tower & all across Paris. Hotel was probably a bit on th ecostly side. It was in a quiet location though which was nice & close by many restaurant, all within walking distance. It was 5 minutes walk to the Moulin Rouge, right next door to the Montmartre Cemetery which was incredibly interesting. Sadly the worst experience of my trip was the problem in France with strikes & transport issues.
Staff at breakfast bit slow
The staff went out of their way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Their service was superb. The location was great - with café bars and restaurants close and a superb view of the Eiffel tower from our bedroom. Breakfast wasn't as varied as it could have been.
Very good location.Close to metro. Air conditioned. Breakfast served promptly in the room. Staff very helpfull. Unable to get a table in the restaurant.
The room was beautiful...the staff, exceptional. In winter, the temperature can't be adjusted.
The very good bed! The showerhead didn't work properly (so I had to bend over not to get my hear wet) and here was no working electricity in the bathroom for me to do my hear.
The hotel was modern, clean and friendly. It's proximity to Montmarte is excellent. There was some disagreement on check out between what was booked on the internet and what the hotel thought was booked. This was resolved in my favour.
Nice decor. Free internet access. Professional staff. Great location. Bed was too small. Bathtub was too small. Lights and lamps could not be controlled individually (all or nothing). They charged a supplement to watch TV. Should have been EUR50 less per night.
we had a very colourful room, very comfortable bed and great bathroom. We liked the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and the cleanliness of the whole place. no
Beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. Will definitely go back.
Location was great. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were dirty and very small. This definitely was not a 4 star hotel. Maybe a 2 star at best.
Location it's nor four stars hotel! AC doesn't work at all, rooms are dirty, whole exterior is being re-stucco- never ending noise. Crazy experience- I asked for the full refund.
Nothing Not clean. Small room. Not a 4 star at all
All the small things, like cookies on the front desk or the umbrellas at the door, everybody could use. Outside walls in our room were very thin. Traffic sounded like the windows were open...
The staff was extremely nice. Breakfast was great. Air conditioning was broken and our room was 90 degrees. It took over an hour for them to deliver a fan. We specifically booked this hotel since they had air conditioning, but when we arrived we were told their service guy won't be in for two days.
Location was good and they tried to address our needs We decided to book a 4 stars hotel to have a/c in our rooms. The a/c hardly worked. Staff offered a fan. One day we were woken up at 8:00 a.m. by construction crews who were replacing windows in adjacent room. Unacceptable!
The staff were incredibly friendly, the room was really clean and very quaint. They offered free welcoming drinks between 6pm and 8pm as well which was very nice.
Unexpectedly the best hotel of our stay! After months of planning, our flights got cancelled and we needed a hotel for the night. We stayed at a total of 5 hotels, and this one was the best! Amazing staff (thank you), very clean, fun atmosphere, loved it. Location is not the best, but easy access to metro for those who are willing to travel into the main tourist areas.
Nice hotel, however, definitely a two star, and not a four star.
central location front door is closed all the time, even during the day - for that same reason, you can hardly recognize it as the place where you need to be, if there is no one to open the door - a clear sign with name of hotel should be placed above the door, as both me and the taxi driver could not recognize it as the hotel/place to be and arriving and finding the door closed with no one to open it for a few minutes, is scary when you see your taxi dissapear in the night
The rooms - not numbered but named after famous French people - are like fin-de-siecle brothel rooms. You can imagine Toulouse Lautrec, Oscar Wilde and Dalida in there. Or Ewan and Nicole.... The price is a bit hefty....
The whimsical approach by the hotel to give each room a name such as that of a celebrity or entertainer. The location. The hotel was located in the middle of Paris' red-light district. There were numerous sex shops within a few steps of the hotel door. This location is absolutely unsuitable for children.
The hotel is in a quite convenient location very very close to Metro station. The hotel's internal decorations are quite unique. The hotel needs to be more professionally managed. We had only two glasses for two guests (both for drinking and for tooth brushing). There is no service for adaptor borrowing and luggage concierge, which should be in place for a 4-star hotel. Electrics and power sockets in room could be better maintained as a lamp doesn't work and the power socket by bedside leaked electricity. In addition, the room was quite small and the hotel doesn't have a channel for feedback/complaints to management.
great deco, buzzy, interesting area, great views no
Excellent old fashioned decoration. Names for each room Poor breakfast, little space in rooms.
Location Location Location. We stayed in the Louis Vuitton room and the view of the street and fountain was beautiful but more incredibly was the view of the Sacre Coeur Basillica. WoW! Access to the Metro could not have been easier it was just across the street. A Sushi Bar just up the street from the hotel toward the Moulin Rouge was delicious. Very satisfied with our stay in Paris. C'est Magnifique! Simple basic breakfast was incredibly expensive for what was offered. Did not eat at the hotel once but instead went downstairs to Omnibus Brasserie for the best and very inexpensive HUGE breakfast! The croissants were melt in your mouth wonderful.
the furnishings and decour noise from the outside, rooms are fully sound proof
The decoration, the bathroom, friendly staff Location near a discotheque, very noisy
location --- proximity to Metro Room a little crowded, but probably typical of European standard
In a fabulous loction, hustle and bustle of the area we enjoyed very much. Would stay again without a doubt. The maid service on the last two days was very late in the day 4pm-5pm. We declined as we were tired. A kettle would be a good idea ? Take a travel one if you can, wish we had.
The location, staff friendly, though they did not have a painkiller for headache. No guidance on medical issues
We've stayed there 5 times now. Despite booking 3 months ago and arriving at 10.30pm, the four of us got 'bumped' on our first night to the seedy noisier downmarket sister hotel on the Blvd Clichy. We complained bitterly on our return and got upgraded to the rooms with views on the 5th floor. a pretty poor show though from Timhotel. beware.
The woman at the desk was kind and helpful, she spoke italian also. There was always someone at the desk, day and night. The location is very nice and quiet. Rooms are clean and have a good smell, the standard is very good for the price we paid. The last day the elevator was broken, that is really the only negative thing. Maybe I would not recommend it to old people, there is a steep road to walk from Abesses to the hotel.
The location is simply wonderful and the staff were really helpful. The bedrooms are rather basic and old fashioned, and the beds horrendously hard!
Location is gorgeous!!! Fabulous view on Montmartre and on whole Paris
Room situated on the 4th floor with a fantastic view of paris Lots of cafes & restaurants Nearby metro links Building work in the street below which wasnt really the hotels fault but very annoying at 7am
The view was excellent as well as location The room was cold and the breakfast very unappetising so we ate somewherelse.
Great location, would stay here again!
Easy access, parking, with whole family (5 persons) in one room Not applicable
Everything advertised was provided!! Spacious, immaculately clean, everything worked.(not always the case in European hotels).. Staff , especially Santiago, were very helpful and cheerful. Perfect for a stay in Paris. Could not fault anything!
Very convenient location, practical room lay-out The kitchen facilities were poor, toaster was broken, hob didn't work, not enough mugs et etc. As a self-catering apartment this let it down.
Very close to area we wished to visit. Parking available. staff friendly with good English. Carpet in room was in need of replacing. No milk/Tea/Coffee although there was a kettle and cups!
Close to train stations that take you anywhere in Paris. We had a studio that had a cooktop, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. We kept cool drinks and snacks. Had plates, flatware, pans, etc. and access to a great rooftop area.
area is very nice the bed
Well situated verry close to a metro station. Everything you need in the kitchen, even a dishwasher...
The staff were very accommodating and nice. The rooms were clean and comfortabe. It was close to cafes and eccess to a supermarket not far away.
We liked everything about this hotel. For starters, the service is outstanding. We were greeted at check-in by a very friendly employee, who provided a map of Paris and lots of other helpful information that we used during our visit. The lady working the breakfast room was so kind to my kids - we didn't even eat breakfast at the hotel but she would sneak them little treats and smiles in the mornings . Much appreciated. The room was very clean and comfortable and plenty spacious for our family of four. The location was fabulous. Montmartre is a great area with lots of restaurants, taverns, cafes, etc. nearby. There are also lots of metro stops just a short walk from the hotel. Overall, a fabulous hotel that we would stay in again.
Nice appartments, good service, well situated at the end of the road.
Location and room facilities. Contrary to one of the reviews on the site we found the staff very helpful and friendly. Really liked the fact that the two bedrooms were seperate from cooking and bathroom facilities so people could have privacy at all times if they wanted. We went with my elderly mother and the space worked really well. Good range of cafes and restaurants right on the doorstep
