In a fabulous loction, hustle and bustle of the area we enjoyed very much. Would stay again without a doubt. The maid service on the last two days was very late in the day 4pm-5pm. We declined as we were tired. A kettle would be a good idea ? Take a travel one if you can, wish we had.
Room situated on the 4th floor with a fantastic view of paris Lots of cafes & restaurants Nearby metro links Building work in the street below which wasnt really the hotels fault but very annoying at 7am
Great location, would stay here again!
The woman at the desk was kind and helpful, she spoke italian also. There was always someone at the desk, day and night. The location is very nice and quiet. Rooms are clean and have a good smell, the standard is very good for the price we paid. The last day the elevator was broken, that is really the only negative thing. Maybe I would not recommend it to old people, there is a steep road to walk from Abesses to the hotel.
The location, staff friendly, though they did not have a painkiller for headache. No guidance on medical issues
Location is gorgeous!!! Fabulous view on Montmartre and on whole Paris
The view was excellent as well as location The room was cold and the breakfast very unappetising so we ate somewherelse.
The location is simply wonderful and the staff were really helpful. The bedrooms are rather basic and old fashioned, and the beds horrendously hard!
We've stayed there 5 times now. Despite booking 3 months ago and arriving at 10.30pm, the four of us got 'bumped' on our first night to the seedy noisier downmarket sister hotel on the Blvd Clichy. We complained bitterly on our return and got upgraded to the rooms with views on the 5th floor. a pretty poor show though from Timhotel. beware.
Very friendly staff and very helpful VERY VERY small rooms
Location close to Metro, restaurants, banks, grocery stores Claustrophobic, coffin-sized elevator (leave your big suitcase at home unless you want to schlepp it up six flights of stairs to your room), no A/C and noisy if window is left open overnight
Promised me for early check-in but finally cannot. And needs to pay 5euro for luggage keeping...
well it was not far from the metro station and quite neat to montmartre it was cold, the heating didn't work at all, the curtain wouldn/t close, the bathroom was uncomfortable
It was close Gare du Nord, so it was convenient for one night before leaving for the airport in the morning. There was a small breakfast included, which was nice. The bed was fairly comfortable. The room was very outdated. The shower had a LOT of mildew and the shower head was somewhat broken, making it hard to use. I wouldn't want to stay there for more than a night. There is no air conditioning, so I wouldn't recommend staying here during a hot time of year. The windows do open, but we could hear a lot of street noise from our room with the window open, even after midnight.
Reasonable value in a convenient location. Breakfast staff were off-hand.
Good location, close to Montmartre (especially the Sacre Coeur). It is a very basic hotel but good value for the money.
Staff was great and helpfull, very good location
Free wifi. Location is ok, only 1 station away from Gard du Nord. 2 supermarkets around open till late at night. Mcdonalds' just 30 sec walk. The bathroom floor was full of water all the time in my room. The bath probably leaks and after shower it is like flooding in the bathroom. I picked the 3 beds room. It is probably a normal 2 beds room with one extra bed squeezed in. Very difficult to walk freely in the room because there is no space.
It was pleasant stay, excellent location for short stay, close to Montmartre attractions and metro station to explore Paris. Hotel located walking distance to Gare du Nord railway station, easy to find.
Very cheap, good location near metro station + Sacre Coeur. Bathroom smelled bad when I arrived and not cleaned to very high standards.
it was very comfortable to stay in and small but it was nice.. Didnt need too much space.. We thought it was cute and nice.. And breakfast was included in our stay which was nice... It was a great deal for the days we stayed in. the tiolet was too high for me to actually sit on it.. And also too small of a room just for the tiolet but other than that it was fine.
The only redeeming quality of this hotel is it's location in proximity to Gare du Nord. Other than that, it should be torn down! Do not stay here!!! Unless you like rooms that smell of sewerage (a problem we got told was absolutely nothing to do with them even though it quite clearly imminated from the drains in the bathroom), rude unhelpful staff, small cramped rooms right on the street filled with drunken revellers all hours of the morning and a breakfast that consists of bread, bread and more bread. I'm used to rubbish Paris accomodation but not on this level and at this price. Stay away!!!
nothing much good location, close to sacre c, tube ,shops etc, room very small...staff friendly, but hotel not great value for money, could not believe another 8euros for a small breakfast...after a few days moved out to another hotel which was in same location and nearly half the price...with a larger room....all in all this comfort inn too expensive for what you get.
The location was great, near Metro station, and also the turistic bus stop. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. On weekend nights the boom boom of a nearby club (?) was quite noisy.
Great location, near metro and just a few steps from Sacre Couer! Possibility of safe parking! Many restaurants nearby and breakfast served in the apartment!
We stayed only one night, however it was really comfortable. I was also satisfied with the facilities and kind staffs. The location was not so safe. Until midnight a lot of drunk people were in front of the hotel. But this opinion might not be fare, because it was the day before the New Year's day.
The location was fabulous, right in the heart of the 'village'. Lovely views. Quiet. Would definitely recommend. We went as a family and it was perfect for us. No cleaning items were supplied, ie. washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc.
place, staff, comfort
the location and view they did not clean the room
Our group enjoyed the closness to a good resturants, shops, the metro and Sacre Coure. The staff were helpful and courteous. The room had a kitchen and though it had a towel to dry the dishes, there were no other necessaties Eg. soup, scoure pad, salt, pepper.
Location is great - very close to Montmarte and only 20 mins from centre of Paris. Kitchenette well equiped Lift dated, need to have better towel / cleaning service
I think this hotel is very nice for me and my family.Thank for the good services. Dr. Moh Hasan Machfoed, Surabaya, Indonesia
It´s located in a very nice central area
I loved the location We arrived late in the evening but had a standing reservation since February for a room/bed for two adults(my husband and I). Upon arrival we were told they did not have our guaranteed room but could give us two separate rooms or be moved to another hotel but they would not charge us extra .....for their mistake!!! So after traveling for a full day we took the two separate rooms and were not able to spend our first night in Paris together. And for the next day reservation we would be moved to another room after one was cleaned for us....another inconvenience.
Receptionist was very helpful No
Especially liked the people working there. They were friendly and helpful.
not much, honestly. maybe the location, but i found out later that there are much better options in montmartre for similar price. the 3 stars are a joke. it's a 1 or 2 stars hotel, with rooms that look like a jail, poor to unexistent service and way overpriced.
It was fantastic! Next to sacre coeur and lots of café's and restaurants. Next to a supermarket also. It's a very lively neighbourhood from morning to dawn, but it's very quiet at night. The "red light district" Pigalle is about 8 minutes away, so there are no prostitutes near the hotel. The metro is like 2 minutes away. The room was warm. But thats just a matter of taste. The breakfast is not worth waking up for.
The location of the hotel Strange policy of the hotel: the travelling person needs to receive information in the moment when he arrives, not from the manager at 11pm
Room is pretty big and clean. The front desk was helpful and nice. Location of the hotel is close to lots of bars and restaurants.
It is located near a Metro Station The accommodation and facilities were very basic
Friendly, flexible staff, great location, good beds. bathroom can use an upgrade.
Nice and cheap hotel. Good location Not, if thinking about the price
I've stayed in thousands of hotels around the world: Bellevue rated one of the worst when it comes to value for money; this is not a 3 star hotel, but one star, maximum, that should cost no more than 80 euro's a night!
Hotel has a great location.
Initially the hotel was difficult to find as there is only a single door way entrance. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lift was the typical tiny French lift. The room was overly decorated but was spacious enough with a great view of paris from the window. The lighting in the room could be a little brighter especially if you wanted to read.
Having stayed in the area before, we found that being just up the hill from busy Pigalle it was alot quieter and picturesque. We payed a little extra for a privilege room on the Fourth floor and had a fantastic unspoilt view of the Eiffle Tower which our Daughter was thrilled about. There was a good choice of cafes and restaurants all on your doorstep but if you wanted to venture further afield the Abbess Metro station was a few steps away. All in all a clean, good value for money hotel that we would definately stay in again.
The location of the hotel is perfect, in the heart of the Montmartre district. The bathroom was really a bit too small and the sound of people rolling their luggage at all hours outside in the place des Abbesses was very annoying indeed (our room was on the first floor). The breakfast was not worth its price - we had better and cheaper breakfasts at The Coquelicot, almost next to the hotel.
Location is fantastic. Lots of cafes, restaurants, Everyone in the area speaks English Our room needed many cosmetic repairs.
Fabulous location and great value Overpriced breakfast
very central leaky washbasin
We had comfort room for one night and then privilege for next two night. Privilege is worth of its' price. It has just amazing view on Paris!!! Hotel itself has grate location. A lot of wonderful restaurants around. You don't need to go anywhere to feel the Paris - everything you need is just next to you! Rooms are cosy and stylish.Little shabby but fot me this was also one of elements of its' special climat. The staff was kind and helpful. I liked the place very much and for sure will come back!
I loved the fact that the hotel was so central and this was the main reason we booked it. It is situated literally next to the abesses metro stop. The staff were quite good and were always there to let us in whatever time of the night we arrived home. The bed was comfortable! I also liked the fact that the cleaners didn't come around until after one so didn't disturb our lie ons The small size of the room (room 10) was a bit of a pain. This could be helped by removing the writing table in the corner as there isn't really room for it. If the bed was a bit higher off the ground we would have been able to slot our suitcases under it which would have been handier than balancing them on the wardrobe. We found the hotel very warm at night and had to leave the window open at night, which resulted in me being bitten alive by an unknown bug on the first night! However, perhaps if we had mentioned it the hotel may have been able to turn it down. The towel rail and tissue holder in the bathroom were quite rusty which was a bit disappointing. The shower was not clean on arrival with hair etc in it.
The location was exellent! Friendly staff, clean room. It was really good! No, It was really good considering the price! (The elevator was a bit small, but you can't change that :o)
Friendly and polite staff Excellent location
Good location, close to both metro and rer. Near Sacre Coeur. Tiny rooms and bathrooms, but acceptable for Paris.
Close proximity to a concert and central Paris It could do with some new wallpaper !!
The view of Sacre Coeur was beautiful. Our room smelled like mothballs, and the bathroom was mildewy.
Strategic locations with good public transport access. Comfort of security. At times, we feel unsafe to walk outside of our hotel
Location of the hotel (very close to subway entrance) and rates.
For the price of a budgethotel this one is very clean, very well situated and feels safe. it's close to the metero and the rooms are fresch and tidy. An extra plus for the staff who were very friendly and helpful.
The place is OK. Hotel is very bad for the requested money. Dirty rooms (carpit, bad..), old furniture, mould in the bathrooms, unidentify smell in the rooms and the coridors. We realy weren´t satisfy with this hotel. Our last stay in Paris was much more better with the hotel.
Good value for the money. Location was right next to metro and within walking distance to shopping and eateries. We were made very welcomed as soon as we arrived. The room was clean, bathroom was adequate to our needs. The bed had a dip in the center that made it a little difficult to stay asleep. Really, that was the only bad thing.
location cleanliness not good
The view on the basilic
Decor super and clean, location perfect for sight-seeing and errands, in an old attractive building, window in room Can't check in before 2 no matter what, even after getting off the plane at 6 AM; sweaty and tired by the time we are allowed to check in
Over 4 days the bed was only pulled up and the bathroom not cleaned in 4 days
It was in a nice neighbourhood and the rooms look funny. Not so boring The room looks nice when u enter, but eventually it is not cleaned good. There was glass in the bathroom and very dusty. So I think they should clean better.
friendly staff. great neighbourhood. accessibility to metro.reasonable rates. rooms smelled of stale cigarette smoke. first night had uncomfortable bed, insufficient towels. second night changed rooms, bed comfortable , sufficient towels, but really bad cigarette odour.
Its location close to the Metro. Good value hotel for the money. Staff very pleasant. No air-con, so rooms were too warm at night as it was a warm weekend in June - but for 2 stars and the price I wasn't expecting aircon. Little bit too much noise
The hotel is in a very nice quarter with a lot of authentic parisien charme. Nothing
Very nice neibourhood. Locaed about 40 minute walk from La Gare Du Nord,15 min. from Sacre Coeure, an hour and a half walk from Le Louvre Museum, from there not too far walk to Notre Dame , or Eiffel Tower. There are grocery stores and bakeries downstairs, the room had a tiny refrigerator for mini-bar, that we could use to put some of our groceries in.The room was small ( normal for Europe ) and clean, the barthroom was spacious compared to what I have seen in other European hotels, the hotel had an elevator ( we were on the 6th floor). No tea or coffee pot in a room. The staff was great, breakfast was coffee, juice, bagette, croissant, pain au chocolat, butter, jam. Overall, very pleasant stay, I would DEFINITELY stay there again. Nothing to report, really.
We really felt like we were in the heart of Paris staying at this hotel; also, the satff really tried to accomodate all of our needs.
nice staff able to speak english, clean room and bathroom, really good location next to the metro station and 5-10 minutes walk from "la butte Montmartre and the Sacre-Coeur". really small lift, really noisy, doors difficult to close and "carton walls"
The hotel really exceeded our expectations. Given the price and the pictures, we were expecting a comfortable budget hotel. We ended up getting a room with a comfortable bed, good isolation from the other rooms, and a nice sized bath as well as a small terrace with a view of Paris! It was perfect for our romantic night in town. It is easily accessible from the metro, it is a short walk from Sacre Coeur, and in a cute neighborhood (we love Montmartre). We are thinking about staying there again next year on our anniversary. Not that it bothered us but the elevator only went to the 5th floor, which could be problematic for some.
The hotel is very good for its price. The location is great!
Terrible!!!dont even try it, supper dirty, very bad service, toilete had no flush omg, really really badddddd
Excellent location (Metro Line 4, Chateau Rouge Station) and price. Neighborhood is not the most select, Wi-Fi is limited to http. No fridge.
The silence, the friendly and helpful staff, the location not far from a metro station and convenient for arrivals via the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. A bit pricey compared to the facilities, but probably not compared to Paris as a whole. It was one of the cheapest we could find, with a relatively good reputation based on what we could read in the guest reviews.
The staff were very friendly (apart from the actual owner/ manager). The room was very clean. And the location is great. I would be slightly worried if I were staying at the top floor as the stairs were very windy and narrow. However, this seems to be the case in many hotels in Paris.
Friendly atmosphere, and within easy walk of Gare du Nord
Location & price. Clean. Old place with a bad small. Pure & poor, no style and charm.
The hotel is well located, just 5 min walking distance from Sacre Coeur. It has very nice, new rooms with TV and FREE WiFi. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast for 6 EUR was okay. The wastewater pipe in the bathroom (from the room above) is very loud, but no problem at all.
The location is perfect, feels like you're in a real neighborhood, and the metro is a five minute walk. Everything was excellent.
