Location is perfect for the theater district. Staff is very friendly and accommodating indeed. Hotel is very elegant, a bit formal. Could be intimidating for a tourist from the US west. Got a good room rate, but drinks, tea, and breakfast were as expensive as you'd expect from a 5 star central London hotel. We ended up changing our room twice -- the first time at the suggestion of the bellman, because it didn't have any view. The second room had a view but was way smaller than the other, and had no bath tub. We were moved a third time at our request and got a wonderful room (but without a river view). The staff made both moves very easy indeed.
Service and staff were exceptional. Made us feel special and very welcome.
good location, good service
Overall stay was very comfortable except there was a very loud wedding party on Saturday night that didn't end till past 1:00am, but the hotel gave me a very generous discount for that night. Would also have liked more overhead lighting because the atmosphere in the room was rather dim!
The room was very nice and quite comfortable. The staff was very attentive and accommodating.
The room was fantastic with view over the Thames, Bed very good and quite and the Hotel is tucked out of the way but in easy access to all of London We did not get a warm welcome at reception, They tried to put us in 2 single beds when I had booked river view doudle. They would not take my word so I had to go back to the car to get our booking. It is also hard to get a cab from this hotel.
Hotel is very well located - 50 meters to Embankment Tube, walking distance to Covent Garden, Taffalgar Square. Service was great. Room was very nice and comfortable with heated bathroom floors, but no views to speak of. Would definitely stay here again. Great deal at $250US pricepoint. Nothing.
Good service Great location Breakfast buffet same everyday. Not much selection for 5 star luxury hotel. I stayed 13 nights and every morning same small selection of breakfast. There should be a lot more selection .
rooms spacious and very clean. staff very helpful and friendly. well situated for site seeing and close commuting facilities to explore the rest of london. no spa facilities that i was made aware of.
The rooms were comfortable and we had a lovely view of the river and the lighted ferris wheel. The staff were courteous, professional, and responsive. The location is great. The concierge was quite helpful. Breakfast was great but if we had not obtained a good price including breakfast, the a la carte cost of adding on breakfast would not have been worth it. The hotel is lovely and we hope to stay there again. For about half of our stay the hotel telephone system was not working. The sink in one of our rooms was quite high and uncomfortable for our elder and short relative.
The welcome and service of all the staff. Everyone especially the Hungarian gentleman bent over backwards to make an extra effort every single time I approached them. More likely they approached me quicker, to help with my pushchair and baby. They were polite and fantastic. Your real asset!! The towels had an awful smell (I have a sensitive nose). My room was no 847. When I enetered the room I could smell the pigeons in fact I looked at the window sill and sure enough there was pigeon poo - and the windows hadn't been cleaned in some time? There was no child quilt / blanket provided with the cot (and, although the cot was provided, I had to ask for this to be made). The staff could be taught level one english.
Everyone is polite and not overbearing. The room although we felt is was quite small it was peaceful and very clean. The only point was a dirty wet cloth left on the wardrobe shelve which was a little unpleasant,
This hotel is in the best location for theater, restaurants, shopping and art. We were two couples and had the best time. Everything was perfect
Unable to open windows and air conditioning is noisy and suffocating.
Location, Design hotel Food is always getting less and less ( before there was steak, there was asian boxes ... ).
A very modern hotel in a fantastic central location. The room was small but spotlessly clean and very comfortable. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Refused entry to the Light Bar because we hadn't booked - since when did you have to book to have a drink in a bar? This also meant we couldn't actually use the vouchers for the complimentary cocktails!
I am a Global Member; this is the reason I continue to stay at this gorgeous hotel in a city full of gorgeous hotels.
Good location, friendly staff, stylish rooms
Great location. Nice hotel. Concierge always has solid recommendations. Good service. Love the room. Everything is modern with a lot of little touches. USB phone charger at the bed, Bluetooth for your music. I've been here 3 or 4 times and will go back! Currently remodeling. Shower leaked ....
Design, city center location and friendly professional staff Internet connection ( slow ), airco on rooms did not work well
The staff were A1 and very helpful and the manager Jose was very proffesional Maybe a little too dark in the lift and l could not see the buttons to push
A different experience. The staff greeted me by my first name which I like a lot. Interior design is cool, I loved candles in the bathroom. Couldn't log on to the Internet with my iPad although I was charged the Internet service - which was advertised as free upon booking :-(
the restaurant concept, staff and service. breakfast - not clear information about the prices and poor value for money regarding breakfast. the films in the elevator - freeky.
Service and the personal very nice food very good Aurel & Tabita Musca Will be nice that in price of the hotel to be include free breakfast
The staff was wonderful. The room was small and was located on the 1st floor - bad view.
The service and kind staff. 1. We booked a junior suite with "great view over London" and added to our booking request that this view was of the essence. The junior suite did not have such a view and the staff told us that no junior suite has such a view. Other rooms do. We feel mislead because an important part of the reason why we booked an expensive hotel/room was the view. 2. The hotel did not answer any of our 3 e-mails over a period of 2 months. 3. We called the hotel in order to double check our reservation. The reservation was not found and the hotel would call us back. They did not so we had to call them back.
The room and facilties were large for a London hotel at that room rate. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the robes that were provided The construction noise was very disruptive and precluded us from getting a good nights rest. The room was poorly designed with large furniture and made it difficult to move around the room comfortably.
excellent staff, very keen to please building work very noisy, breakfast expensive
Room was very quiet, despite overlooking Leicester Square. Fabulous location - very central Bed was too small - needed to be longer & wider!
The courtesy of the staff was very good and one was made to feel nothing was a bother. The room was very comfortable. There was a fair amount of outside street noise in the room which took a night to get used to.
For those that wish to make the most of going out in London during the evening, the hotel is the ideal location.Staff were very welcoming, at time a little too much.
Very helpful staff also in a fantastic position for restaurants and shows.
The hotel is located right in the centre of London, ideal for theatres and shopping and the staff were particularly friendly and helpful, Rather expensive !
location the lifts were awful
Location was excellent Rooms were not up to usual Radisson standards, Rooms were very small, bed was too short for tall people.
We Loved Everything about the Radisson! You can not go wrong, the rooms are gigantic and with real king beds you get the most comfortable night sleep while in London out of anywhere! From the minute you walk in the door, the customer service is absolutely impeccable, they actually care about you, learn about you, remember you and it is so nice to feel that, especially after 12 hours of travelling across 8 time zones to get there. I give this Radisson 5 Stars and Highly Recommend to anyone searching! Cheers, to all the Staff, Liva, Annaise, and Anna for being super friendly! ~ Sammy Tovar
The staff were very accomodating. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. n/a
Great location to National Gallery, Piccadilly Square, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace and gardens. Contemporary style, very comfy bed, staff polite and helpful. Free "slow" internet in the room-it was fast enough! Rain shower head. The shower was a bit small so the splashing water would sometimes puddle on the floor. No other complaints!
We had a lovely week-end stay at the Sofitel London st James. The location is great, staff all very friendly .We had a really nice room and the bed was so comfortable.
There are many things that i loved. Amongst it all the location is outstanding. The staff is a ++ The beds are so comfortable Its is just a bliss from a to z It is a bit expensive and my room was more of a regular room than a superior room
Staff very good, great location and good value for money.
A very friendly hotel
Quality modern room with a great rain shower. The beds were luxurious. Light switch was confusing. Need separate switch for the bathroom.
Hotel design and great customer service as standard Bathroom toiletories are not to my taste
Perfect location for New Year, everything in walking distance, close to Trafalgar Square, easy access to Embankment for fireworks and New Year day parade passed front door...not to mention the hotel festivities, plenty going on in a stylish, refined way. We were only there 24 hours but thanks to location, facilities, easy relaxed feel of the hotel it was the ideal intensive enjoyment hoped for.
excellent hotel, fantastic location, all staff and services very professional!
Its position It is not true that airconditioning system is controlled from the room. Actutally the system is not strong enough when there is a very warm climate in uk.
Over charger $2k with a forced apology
The location in Leicester Square was very nice, and the hotel seemed to be a popular place to visit. I received the worst treatment possible from the managerial staff. Firstly, even though they had my reservation, which was made and confirmed a month and a half in advance, they decided that they didn't have any room available for me to stay in when I arrived to check in. I found this to be very unprofessional since they could have called me or emailed me prior to my arrival at the hotel to give me a forewarning so that I could plan ahead as well. The situation was worsened by the staff then relaying this information to me in a very condescending manner in which they had the very unapologetic tone of "take it or leave it". Secondly, they decided that a fair way to "compensate" me would be by reserving a room in another hotel on my behalf, without any input from me regarding choice, and then giving me a ride to this new hotel. I specifically chose the W for my stay and did not choose the other hotel when making my initial plans. So, the manager felt he could take the payment for the room at the W, decide that they no longer have a room at the W, then deny me the choice of an alternative hotel, and all without the option of a refund. They said they were compensating me, but I feel that they cheated me greatly. It was terrible customer service. Eventually, I had no choice but to take their offer of staying at the other property, which I didn't want to stay in, since they were not going to make any room available for me at the W for the night. Truthfully, I feel there were a bunch of racial undertones and biases based on the unprofessional, condescending, unempathetic, and unapologetic tone of the manager and staff. I have stayed at many hotels around the world. This has been, by far, my worst experience with any hotel staff regarding a reservation.
Location . Dislike. Booked non smoking big room with kitchen. Was given smoking room ( as if they just had held a smoking party).Eventually offered a non smoking room but much smaller and w/o kitchen . No reduction in rate ! This is truly a quarters but not hotel !
This hotel is "THE" place to stay. Location-Staff-Amenities-Location!!! Excellent location to walk around London en"Joy"ing the sites. Looking at the map you will immediately realize this is a premium place to anchor your rest area. A mere 100 yards from the Charing Cross tube station, this hotel offers a more quiet locale compared to the Piccadilly area (only 1 stop away on the tube). Before I was able to ask for an early check-in the front desk professional politely stated, "If you and your family would like, you may check-in now (at noon--3 hours early!!!). After flying on a 7 hour red-eye inbound these words golden to our bodies. This unexpected blessing let us rejuvenate with a 30 minute nap before we laced up our walking shoes. Without a doubt, this proved to be 'the most invaluable" act of kindness from the staff. According to our Fitbit we then walked over 20,000 steps and 10+ miles taking nearly 500 pictures and fondly did so with smiles--no way we could have done this without that early check-in and needed pre-rest I visited for a quick 24 hours trip (with 2 teenage kids) to gain intel for when rest of family comes so we'll be squared away. Fantastic experience! Please do yourself a favor and simply stay at the CQ Trafalgar Square. Now go to the next item on your travel checklist--the place to stay is solved. Lastly, remember that when writing and reading reviews, we cannot and should not evaluate others in their actions by using "our intentions" as the litmus test to criticize their performance. Translation: If I can only make porridge or PB&J's, I have no authority to critique one who "is" a chef but has different taste buds than my own. Enjoy your trip to this great city wherever you decide to stay and remember the reality of your trip--you are there for the city not the hotel. If anything is less than you believed prior to arrival, simply have a nicer dinner when you're out and bring the staff back a little sweet treat. Your act of kindness will be passed onto a future guest at the hotel. Be Well and Safe Travels :)) PS. Review written by a man with 34 years of worldwide travelling experience...and 11 more to go until retirement. Enjoy the people first, and human made structures second. Blessings. This box should be empty. CQ Trafalgar Square performed outstandingly and the owners of this hotel should be commended for their ability to not only acquire a premier property for travelers visiting the great city of London and but more so for accomplishing the most difficult task in any business--employing caring humans to transfer customer service models and ideals into memorable experiences for the traveler. Well done CQ Trafalgar Square...well done.
Beautiful hotel centrally located in the heart of London's biggest attractions. Loved the ability to walk everywhere without ever needing a taxi. Wonderful stay and would recommend to close friends and family.
Location. There is nothing to say about the hotel, is normal 4* hotel, nothing to complain but nothing to admire. Nice bar. I was staying alone in double room, for one it was ok. for two would be definately small.
Perfect location for us. Minimum fuss. Good room and bathroom with everything we needed. The card check-in system and the lift operated by card - not obvious which way to do it and everyone we met felt the same. Needs rethinking
Staff was friendly, professional, and responsive. Clean, quiet, and modern rooms with big screen TV. Beds are comfortable and relatively new. We were able to check in early for a reasonable fee. Bathroom had no ventilation and you have to prop open the door to clear the moisture after a shower.
Excellent location, polite, helpful staff, well appointed rooms.
The fact that the staff were friendly and that the hotel was a reasonable price Only that we were unable to have a drink brought to our room after 11pm even though we asked about this previously and were told it was a 24hr service.
Quality comfortable accomodation in central london at a fair price. The relationship between Club Quarters,The Grand and The Northumberland was a little confusing.
Convenient & central location , very comfortable Customer service needs to improve
Location is fabulous for tourists and the room seemed pretty clean. I did my own wipe-down with wipes and there wasn't much left behind. Maid didn't replace my washcloth even though I purposely left it on the floor to indicate that I wanted a new one. Room was small and the view from the window was nothing but a wall.
Location is excellent, v close to Charing Cross and Embankment underground stations and walking distance to Leicester Square and Covent Garden. Bathroom small-ish and towels were old but functional. Shower was reasonably strong and water was hot.
The location was perfect and many of the tourist sights were within walking distance so we saved quite a bit on travel and travel fares. On a weekend visit you do not spend much time in the hotel, but I would stay here again because of the location. I would advise people to avoid the £9 cost of breakfast and just walk round the corner to a small cafe and pay half the price.
Location is excellent. Very clean with a kitchenette with microwave, stove, dishwasher, electric kettle. Very nice to be able to have breakfast and not have to change clothes. Very green with a toilet tank that is topped by a little sink where u wash your hands and it automatically fills the toilet tank; ingenious!! Little staffs also a a bit dark in the rooms but that's because they use energy saver lights do OK with me.
generally efficient and good rooms not cleaned on regular basis. i was told it is once a week. at least the rooms can be cleaned more frequently even though linen need not be changed for a few days.
The location is perfect to see many sights and close to the underground. There are NO American Outlets anywhere, and I understand that yes I am in the UK and they don't have the same voltage as in the States, but EVERY hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Europe has had at least ONE American Outlet. The outlets are no where near mirrors. So even if you packed an outlet converter, you wouldn't be able to see yourself do your hair. CFL lighting instead of LED, which take a long time to warm up and are not as bright. Instead of having One Strong WIFI Network, they had over a dozen WEAK Ones. You had to constantly re-connet to Wifi because the signal would go out. We spent majority of the time reconnecting between 3 different Citadines Wifis. The bathtub/shower is so high off the ground, you have to physically climb into it, and careful not to fall out. I almost fell out completely one, but thankfully my boyfriend caught me in time. Our in room fridge creaked and moaned all hours of the night, and soon became part of our nightly sleep, Given the Opportunity, I would NOT stay here again.
Great service . Very good secure parking
We liked the location as we were visiting art galleries and also had a trip to the theatre. It is in a very convenient spot. We found the room cold in the evening and could have done with another blanket or two, as the weather was very cold. The thermostat didn't appear to work. We woke up cold in the night.
Location The room and hotel needed refurbishing and there were only old blankets on the bed.
Great location, excellent cleanliness, apartahotel concept very good. Internet useless. Recommend bringing your own USB modem
Great location (just off Trafalgar Sq. and 2 mins walk from the tube station); room is big by London's standard and the price; reasonable facilities The room smelled a bit when I first moved in, especially the kitchenette, either it got better later or I got used to it. Linens were not changed during my stay (3 nights), but you sort of expect that with a serviced apartment. I would be better if we were told how often they change though.
The room had a kitchenette with cook-top, refrigerator, dishwasher and flatware/glassware. These amenities came in handy to prepare a meal or have snacks on-hand instead of purchasing every meal at a restaurant. The room was a good size for a in-town European location. The room and bathroom were clean and well-kept.
It isso convenient and central for shopping and the theatre I thought the carpets in the corridors were threadbare
It was in central London No complimentary tea/coffee making materials
Great location. Wine and cheese hour was a nice bonus TINY room. Barely enough room to move about. Shower head kept moving, it was like showering with a moving sprinkler. Water got into the room as a result because it was so small. The photos are misleading!!
The location was great and the first time I stayed the hotel was cleaner. The room is really basic but bed was comfortable. I would never stay here with a second person. The room is good for 1. The have a small check in desk in the middle of the cafe which was crowded when I arrived. I have had to wait for longer than 10 minutes to check in and check out. They seem a little disorganized at the front and could use a proper reception area.
Beds were very comfortable The 48" flat screen TV was a nice touch The design was nice Definitely a place to stay for short business travel or vacation, given the good location in Piccadilly. The complimentary wine n cheese every evening was nice and my group enjoyed it Located close to many many tourists spots, most with in walking distance or short bus ride. Staff was excellent and very attentive There is only one small lift and often crowded, therefore had to wait for it to come back down empty or you just took the stairs, a minor complaint, but would better if they had two lifts.
The staff was great, especially Henri & Theo. The staff always went above and beyond to assist us! Location also was amazing; right next to Picadilly Circus, Trafalgar Sq, Leicester Sq, close to Parliament Sq, and Buckingham Palace.. Very centrally located The rooms were very small, but it worked out really well for us since we were there only for 3 days. Didn't bother us at all.
This is a no-frills property that trades off services for location. Smallest room I have ever stayed in over 30 years, 100+ properties and 5000 nights. The double room was 10x10 (feet) with no phone or closet. No laundry or room service Wake up service is a knock on the door. NOT FOR BUSINESS USE
The location was excellent. The design and materials of the room are modern and quality. It was very clean and there was a clear focus on quality. The towels were as soft and huge as any hotel I've been in. the TV was huge relative to the size of the room. The bathroom fixtures were all very nice and the toiletries were also nice. If you are willing to trade a lot of space for a lower price (well, lower price for London) then this can be a value. It's also good if you plan not to spend much time in the hotel as it's comfortable for sleeping. The reason the rooms are affordable is because the rooms are tiny. Seriously tiny...as in your bed spans the whole distance of a wall. There is no closet at all, and unless you get one of the larger rooms you'll have to put your luggage on the floor as there are no luggage racks. That's a bitt of a challenge because the "floor" is really the walkway from the bed area to the bathroom so you'll be walking around your own luggage. If you are a business traveler and need desk space it's very limited or absent. I had one room with a very small desk and another where I had to use the nightstand as a desk. The rooms are relatively dark even if the windows are open because they open to a narrow light well/courtyard. Perhaps there is more light on higher floor levels.
Very good place in the middle of the centre Staff at the desk, were unintrested and not really friendly
Ideal location and good size of rooms
tv - internet facilities no outside smoking area
The location was excellent, very near the tube station embankment, a short walk from covent garden. It was very comfortable. no
good size room, staff very friendly and helpful, quiet hotel whilst being in a very central location no residents bar, reception area bland and personality-less
hotel is centrally locatated in london, tube station just around the corner, walking distance from the beautiful covent garden. i loved the service the hotel provides where u can check out on a touch screen computer without having to go to reception. on checking in, we were going to be charged double what i agreed to pay on this web site. only for having my print off of the receipt i wonder would we have had any come back.. not a good start! i booked a studio kitchenette but only got a double room with sofa bed. to be honest we were so tired after coming back from a hard day of shopping we hadnt the energy to argue as long as our room was clean and slept 3 comfortably we didnt mind.
Fantastic location.Very pleasant room.
The Grand lived up to it's name, with a quiet, posh feel. Very comfy bed, and the staff were above and beyond in helpfulness, politeness and friendliness. Breakfast, while costly, was exceptionally well varied and high quality. And the location was superb! Everything was walkable if you wanted. If not, access to taxis, London bus tours, and the subway system was also right at hand. Overall, a great choice!
Very good room size. In fantastic historic building. Excellent large shower.Excellent central location. Check in area a bit cramped and rather disorganised. Called over to us as were leaving check in to give info. about facilities etc. Not very professional in approach. However check out very smooth and so above may just have been a one off at a busy spell.
The hotel was very clean and had good visual appeal. It was also in a great location. The room became very cold at night.
location - in the heart of the city Comparing with other 4 star hotels at the same price the rooms are very small. I booked around 4-6 weeks in advanced asking for city view and all I got was an inner courtyard... I advice that this kind of requests to be processed early and not in the last day when there are no rooms available to choose from.
The greeting on reception The restaurant facility, the food was excellent the service was very badly organised
Great location, nice staffs, Room was close to next building. Sometimes the card key didnt work.
Wonderful location. No complaints. Would stay again or recommend to others.
The location is excellent, being right above Charring Cross Station and within walking distance to all the West End theatres. The hotel itself is very nice and our room was great. Breakfast was also nice, with gluten-free bread offered to my girlfriend. Upon arrival at 1.45 pm we were offered an upgrade to a junior suite for an extra 50 pounds. We accepted but wanted to check in straight away as we had a theatre show at 3.30 pm. Reception said the room would be ready in 10 mins. We finally got into the room at 2.45 - unacceptable! The bottle of wine that was offered upon the upgrade was also not delivered until later I asked about it. Given we were in a hurry to get ready and get to the show I didn't have time to make a big deal of it. When asked we were given a late checkout, 1pm instead of 12, which was something I guess. But I definitely got the impression the reception staff did not care at all about the customer and were merely chasing extra dollars from the customer.
Hotel position excellent Room reasonably quiet, comfortable bed Ordered newspaper not delivered. No verbal explanation given after fire alarm evacuation at 06.00. Poor understanding of English shown by some reception staff.
Near many tourist attractions and two Tube stations, the hotel is in a great spot. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They even let me check into my room when I arrived from my early flight at 9am! The rooms were nice and clean, breakfast was great too.
The staff were very polite and friendly and the candles and decorations around the hotel were beautiful giving it a romantic atmosphere. The bed and room were very comfortable. Our room was next to a side street with trucks arriving very early with deliveries and it was noisy! And our phone rang every 30 minutes from around 8am (we were too tired to figure out why!) And the attendant walked into our room at around 9am even though we had locked the door and put the latch on.
The hotel was elegant without being pretentious. The entire staff, really everyone, were: friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, intelligent, observant and consistently went above expectations. They helped us feel so at home in a new city. The location at Trafalgar Square/Charing Cross was ideal, full access to the city and all of its charms. The room cooler had a weak seal and kept heating rather than cooling if the door wasn't carefully closed. There was minimal storage space for clothing...tiny closet and no drawer space.
Fantasic offer of an upgrade to a junior suite for just £35 incl bottle of wine and a great room with lots of extra space. Made the stay even more enjoyable. Superb location, friendly staff 10/10 :)
The hotel had just the perfect location for us, situated as it was within a 10-minute walk of Leicester Square, Soho, Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, St Martins-in-the-Field, Covent Garden, The Strand, and so much more. Our room was on the 3rd floor, directly above the entrance to Charing Cross Station and practically overlooking Trafalgar Square. Amazingly, we could hardly ever hear a sound from outside! The windows had great soundproofing, I guess. The only sounds that appeared to get through were when the street musicians played amplified guitars at night, and they seemed to stop at a decent hour so it wasn't all that disruptive. Staff were always friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable with all modern conveniences including a soothing rainwater shower with plenty of hot water. The complimentary minibar was a nice surprise, too.
The staff are friendly helpful and show a wide variation of knowledge of the city hotel is clean and the candles in the evening are a nice touch Xmas tree lovely.
Location In any other location this would have been well overpriced
The room is quite big for center of London and full of light. Clean, with a huge bed. Everything was fine. I will surely enjoy it again when I'll come to london.
The room we got as upgrade. Large, light and with a large bathroom. The central location near Piccadilly Circus. when we arrived they put us in a very small and dingy looking room which was not acceptable in view of the hotel category. When we put this to the reception they upgraded us without problem which was good.
some facilities are old,and the heating is not working the beds in twin room are put together
The staff hotel were verry polite except in the FO staff (not at all only a few) Nothing
Comfortable room, friendly staff, location ideal for Trafalgar Square and theatre land. Seems to be in a back street
Warm, comfortable, excellent decor and very comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and helpful and we greatly enjoyed our stay. No specific problems spring to mind.
the location is perfect. All of the staff except for one,was nice. the room was very small, and we could hear too mutch noise from our nabours nexst door
The location and front desk services were very good. The room was cramped, barely adequately furnished and only just met the standard of many 3* hotels I have stayed in, irrespective of the location I feel that this was a very expensive accommodation that did not match the price.
the hotel was perfectly located for our stay, the beds were really comfortable and the room was very clean. the staff were very efficient but not so friendly, nobody smiled???
hotel staff excellent and position of hotel was just right room very dark, no sun light. no tea coffee fercilities
very near to the theatre area.
good location and helpful staff On the booking form i was offered a smoking room which i required, on checking in i was told it was a non smoking hotel so your booking form needs to be altered. This was a disappointment as i had done a lot of groundwork to find a smoking room.
Good location. Very friendly and helpful desk staff. Comfortable bed, No wheelchair access. No support rail (grip rail) at side of bath.
Everyone at the Every Hotel was very helpful. I've never had a better experience with hotel staff. They helped us get into a room early after 20 hours of travel. They help with cabs, directions, and tube vs. other transportation option. They helped with locating nearby shops and conveniences. The hotel is also comfortable, clean, safe, and centrally located. Some things were not pristine in the bathroom. Overall however, well above average. Much nicer than expected for the price in a city center locale.
location easy access to where we wanted
Great location - didn't pay for breakfast as other places for breakfast very close by at fraction of price. The room was uncomforably hot which I relayed to reception on departure - the air conditioning did not seem to work at all and windows were locked closed.
I collect foreign coins during my overseas travel. The desk clerk traded my one coin for several smaller denominations -- and when one in the sequence was missing, he even went next door to make change out of his own pocket so that my collection would be complete. I liked the complimentary mini-bar. It was nice to have something for free when most else in the vacation was for charge. The room was very nice. The location was right in the middle of everything -- all within easy walking distance. It was just a few moments from the nearest underground station. It was perhaps a bit more than I had hoped to pay, but overall was satisfactory.
location was very central, near few tube stations and the shops. I found the price expensive. We travel over from Ireland 3-4 times a year and would like to stay in the same hotel each time. However I think we will shop around next time.
location water supply to bath and shower is not acceptable in this modern age
Convienience of nightlife surroundings
Location to Piccadily Circus and Trafalgar Square Staff very cold and unattention, room quite dirty and smelly, internet very slow, room very small and lifts very old.
Nice big room with modern fittings and bathroom Reception / Bar area altogether, bar is full on with DJ etc, which can be a bit disconcerting when checking in. No public areas to chill in evening.
Service and breakfast- facilities especially roof terrace and views available from roof terrace-location was excellent The room was small and the window could not be opened
Nice hotel in a great location. Room was fantastic....and so was the deal on the room.
Location to fit my itinerary Reception and late night bar with bouncers location, layout
Location confortable e modern, strategic for fit to visit london
very plesant staff
The lobby lounge, the Terrace upstairs, the service, the location. Very nice indeed!!! Front Desk staff was very helpful. One of the main attractions of the Hotel is the Roof Terrace and during our first night, it was closed due to a private event. That should not happen during Saturdays. big disappointment! I also do not like interior rooms. I am claustrophobic and try to avoid these rooms. Room service selection after 10:30 pm.
Very central location, with easy access to the west end. The staff were very helpful. The hotel was overpriced for the ammenties, and our room was very claustraphobic due to overlooking a very close office block, not a "great" view!
Always someone willing to help with a query and nothing too much trouble Some inconsistencies with communication. Phoned down to reserve meal Sunday night, but later found that restaurant closed on Sundays.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Accommodation was excellent and an ideal base for exploring london.
Beautiful hotel. Right in the middle of Trafalgar Square. Charming Cross under ground just a few steps out the door. Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and Westminster Abby just a few short blocks away. Many theaters less then 5 minutes of walking.
