I didn't think Emirates would be below that standard because I have heard a lot about the airline and decided to fly them for a change. I was told that if there was any vegetarian option left behind I would get one but the steward didn't even have the decency to come back to tell me there wasn't any left. For the breakfast the steward was much nicer and was able to provide me with a vegetarian option."

When we got thru immigration in record time due to the newly installed kiosks, we waited for 2.5hours to get our luggage, there was only one carousel open for an entire A380 airplane with all its luggage and the boxes were piling up on each other, some of them were crushed due to overloading, it took them 2 hours to open a second carousel to offload all of the bags. During this entire time, the Emirates representatives were unhelpful, the local SFO personnel were quite disorganized as well."

Contras: "Had a layover in Toronto. From Toronto we flew to Istanbul and then Venice. While waiting in line to board in Toronto, I was told my carry-on luggage was too big and needed to be put under. I asked MULTIPLE times where my luggage would be- either Istanbul or Venice (final destination) and EVERY time I asked, I was told my luggage would be waiting for me in Venice. Once we arrived in Istanbul I asked AGAIN if my carry-on luggage was here or if it would be in Venice and I was told it would be in Venice. Once we arrived in Venice, my luggage was nowhere to be found. The lost luggage crew (and 90% of the people in Venice) were completely rude and acted like we were a huge inconvenience for them. (I've heard that many Europeans cannot stand Americans, but we were not being rude or obnoxious at all to anyone- we just wanted a quiet, romantic vacation.) So safe to say that it was an extremely rough start. We were in Venice for the Glass Art Society Conference in Murano and due to my luggage being lost, had missed the first day and a half, therefore wasting hundreds of dollars. Luckily my boyfriend's phone worked in order to spend our first two days of vacation (not to mention the amount of money spent on international calling costs) tracking down my luggage, but again dealt with completely rude people who barely helped us with any answers and even hung up on us multiple times (and I'd like to add that despite my frustration, I made sure that I was not speaking rudely one bit). The best answers we received were from the people at the Istanbul airport who told us that Venice received my luggage hours before I even called Istanbul- which I do not understand why the Venice airport did not tell me this because I spent all day speaking with them. Once I called back the Venice airport to confirm what the Istanbul airport told us, they said (once again rudely) that they called me on my phone but did not answer (which I already told them that my phone did not have any service and to call my boyfriend's phone number). So to sum up: I will never be flying to Venice ever again."

The flight attendants were slow and rude. I asked for two white wines with my food, and was looked at with disgust. I was told that I can have one, and when I finished it, I could have the second one. I said ok. Well 30 MINUTES later I touch the attendant button and no one came. Finally after 5 min someone came to take my order. She quickly came back and said they were out of wine. This was a very disappointing flight."

Prós: "Unfortunately for Turkish A. the plane was less than 1/3 full...tourism to and from Turkey seems to be way down for a number of reasons. That made it spacious coupled with a relaxed pace of passengers and crew. The lunch served was quite tasty and satisfying. No hassles about carryons weight or size. Electronics aboard seemed to work fine for those interested."

Even though I,flew economy I,felt like it was business class - foot rest pillow and blanket and they hand out hot towels and packs with toothbrushes and socks and slippers. I will definitely. Fly. Contras: "Aircraft A330-300 sucks. It is SLOW! Boeng-777 did Moscow-Houston flight in 10 hours, but this A330 flew from Frankfurt to Atlanta in the same time. Shelves for baggage are small - it is not enough room for all passenger bags. Entertainment can be better. Food... It could be SIGNIFICANTLY better! Or just do not serve it et al. If I could I would not buy it."
Prós: "Safety of aircraft"
Contras: "Parents called as soon as the delayed flight caused the young teen to miss her flight, Lufthansa operator verifies only by phone that young teen had a seat in the next flight, UNTRUE! She was ignored at counter, mr. M. Meindle told her to step aside and it was not “worth arguing”! The people she sought direction from, are the ones that left her confused and ignored. Shame on them"
Prós: "Nothing, the crew was terrible with very bad attitude, the food is very bad and the seats and bathrooms were awful."
Contras: "Every thing should be replaced starting with the crew."
Contras: "The first leg to Frankfurt was 6 hours late. Missed connection, missed next possible connection, and waiting in line to try to get last possible flight out. Everyone's schedule has been turned upside down."

Contras: "The lady next to me got into an argument and no one intervened to defuse it. Not sure what protocol is there. The seats reclined too far into my personal space making me feel uncomfortable."

Prós: "I flew in the A380 bulkhead at row 50 from Munich to Hong Kong. Have flown premium economy with Lufthansa before, it was no different from before. The service is efficient. Entertainment was fine and had an interesting selection in their world cinema section."
Contras: "A pretty standard experience and nothing which makes you feel special. Other airlines might offer an upgraded meal in premium economy or a special cocktail, but not on Lufthansa."

Contras: "We missed our connected flight because or flight was delayed... this does not make any sense. If the flight is delayed, there should be proper high priority check in and bus transport implemented so we arrive at our gate on time. Me and the 2 other passengers had zero chance to arrive on time and were at a loss of breath. And i paid for my selected seats to which i am asking for a refund because what happened was unacceptable. When we addressed our concern, the lufthansa employee told us that u cannot have buses for all the passengers in a situation of a delay.... unacceptable.... how is this the client's fault to miss a flight due to a delay?"

Prós: "So because of tge traffic and snow i got at the airport 25 min before the departure of my flight...but when i explained my situation every employee tried their best to help me in getting on the plane, by even opening the gate for me!! They were very helpfull, fast and efficient. Thanks to their kindness and efficiency i was able to get on the plane and see my family at home. I am verry thankfull to all the staff for it!"

Boarding at the plane was also a hot mess because you could enter from the front or back of the plane and people in the very back that entered at the front had to shove past people entering from the back moving toward the center of the plane."

Contras: "United app didn't work. No entertainment. Seats so close, you couldn't read because distance too short. Could have heated the breakfast sandwich. Just threw it out cold and late."

Some people even had to missed there flights altogether! Lufthansa, from the 4 times I have flown with them always seems to be late with no sense of urgency. Ultimately after arriving in Venice, I get an email that my bags did not make it, yet I was told by the boarding agent that the plane was still loading our bags."

I AM OUT SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS BECAUSE I HAD TO PURCHASE A TICKET UPGRADE TO GET HOME. RIDICULOUS. I MIGHT SUE."
Prós: "Main issue was the food was not as expected, it was a problem with kids food. Entertainment was also with No update movies, more of them classic or old."

And for your cabin luggage you only have 12 kg that they check you twice and they have security staff at the airport specifically check in this."

Prós: "One crew member was very good but all were not very available or checking on people. I had a seat that I purchased and it was very hard to recline I only found out that it did if fact recline it the last hour to hour and a half of the trip! It was a difficult push back to get it to recline"

Prós: "Very pleased with KLM - efficiency all round and especially the baggage handling at Schipol swhere I had 20 minutes to transfer and my baggage came back with me to the UK which is no mean feat given the hustle and bustle of such a large airport"

Contras: "The flight was delayed (again!) for some 40 minutes and I was worried that I would miss my connection flight in Atlanata. Fortunately the pilot made up for the delay (probably costing the airline thousands in fuel). It seems these days that every KLM flight I take is delayed. This stretch goes back to 2015! Yet KLM prides itself as being punctual. Not the KLM that I have been flying!"

Prós: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."
Contras: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."
