Went to Delta's website, entered my ticket number and card number but I was not in the system as I was given all WestJet info (not Delta's). Luckily the baggage check in people figured it all out."

My last trip 2 years ago was with Copa to Washington D.C and it was an absolute delight. This time however, there was a noticeable drop in the quality offered: for reasons unknown, the movie started playing extremely late, and was therefore cut short by landing time. Additionally, the quality of the food was also inferior to what I would have expected for a 3 hour, noon flight: it was roughly equivalent of the breakfast served during the SJO-PTY flight, which is barely one hour long."
Prós: "It is a short trip from Panama City to San Andrés. It was even better when I got a free upgrade to the executive seating. The crew was polite and professional. No complaints at all."

Also, they automatically made my check-in for me and my son the day before our departure (returning back to Montréal) which was a pleasant surprise! I do recommend COPA for a good price/service ratio."

The bag was not to be opened until my final destination (Los Angeles). Long story short, when I arrive at the Panama airport they insist that they are going to have to throw the alcohol away despite the fact that I bought it in a duty-free zone at another airport and had not left said zone in this airport. It was also obvious the alcohol had not been tampered with as the bag I purchased was sealed tightly (some sort of glue). I had to take my son's personal carry-on (a backpack), take all of his things out of it, and check the bag as checked-in luggage. The Panaminian airport staff claimed I would still have issues in Los Angeles. They were completely wrong - no officer made any sort of comment about it since the alcohol was still in the sealed bag with a notice that said it would not be opened until the final destination. Incredibly unprofessional behavior."

Contras: "It seems LATAM changed the way they charge fees in July. The ticket for my return trip included no allowance for checked bags, and that detail wasn't obvious on my reservation information. Imagine my surprise when I check-in for an international flight and I'm told I can't check any luggage because it isn't included on my ticket. I ended up paying $210 to check two bags. Also expect to pay a bit more for decent seat assignments. My default seat assignment was at the very back of the plane, right against the rear bulkhead where seats often can't recline. So, another $60 to move elsewhere."

Contras: "Not necessarily a critique, but I did find it very odd, and non-standard, that the all the overhead bins were closed during boarding. It gave the impression that they were all full, when in fact, they were all empty. Planes should have the overhead compartments all open until everyone is on board so people can see what space is available."

Contras: "Normally, international-domestic transfers are pretty difficult to coordinate. This particular one (Bogota>Miami, Miami>San Francisco) seemed particularly so. On top of being just enough time to wait for our bags, drop them off with the next airline, walk across the airport, enter security (which went exceedingly slowly), we had just enough time to get to the gate before boarding. This is why I gave a lower rating."

Contras: "-Crew kept trying to take my plastic cup and looked at me like I was crazy for wanting to reuse it. No concept of sustainability or waste. Very troubling. -The attendants skipped my row when handing out M&M bags. When I alerted an attendant to this, again I was looked at like I was crazy, and he said that they were not distributing chocolates. I said that everyone else around me had M&M's. He then said that they had run out, which I found difficult to believe, given that they flight was at a max 75% full."

Prós: "The staff was friendly and very attentitive. The entertainment is available in a huge selection and works great. It was great that I was able to create my own playlist with as many songs as I liked from their music library, for the duration of my flight. Staff woke me up and asked me if I wanted food in the morning which I thought was nice. On other airlines, Sometimes they just let you sleep and you miss out. Lighting is great for sleeping. Food is OKAY (im a picky eater) with vegetarian options. Provided pillow, blankets,AND HEADPHONES! Headphones are a must have for a long flight so it's great that they provide it. It was my firat flight with Latam and I look forward to flying with them again."
Contras: "I didn't like that latam doesn't offer wifi like some other airlines such as jetblue. Also I would like more interaction from the pilot over the intercom, its more personal and comfortable for passangers. Other than that great airline."
Contras: "the 2 stewardesses disappeared as soon as the flight was in the air. i upgraded to business class in what was a huge waste of money. the fact that they do not make alcohol available in business class is pure laziness, and these people are loving it. keep in mind that you can have water juice and pop. i was given the water i asked for after take off, and then she promptly disappeared for the entire 3 hours. she only returned when i pushed the call button. not good."

This was after I had already done an online check-in for the appropriate seat. Then I was told by the AA agent at the desk that my upgrade was in the system but that it was “fake”. Apparently the money I paid two months before was no good on this flight. I was traveling with my boyfriend and they would not allow us at the same counter because we were not married. After much haggling we were finally able to rectify the situation. Horrible start. Then, once on the plane, the in- flight entertainment system as well as the lights broke right before take off so there was nothing to watch or see for an almost 8 hour flight."

Contras: "Staff at the check-in counter made fun of my surname. Bad start but not noteworthy unless combined with the rest of the experience. The flight was delayed causing me to miss another AA connection by minutes. Waited in line to be told I wouldn't get on a flight til the following day, they couldn't help with accommodation and I wouldn't receive my luggage until the following day. In short, AA left me stranded in a strange city at midnight with no accommodation and no luggage. It was 18 degrees and I was in t-shirt and shorts. What a memory."

Contras: "Iberia does not have a check in counter at lax. All flights are operated by American, but ticket issued by Iberia. American could not locate my ticket and as a result I missed my flight. Iberia's 1800 number would not cooperate to release or rebook my ticket until a full day and 3 trips to the airport later when I made a manager speak to an American airline rep to explain and resolve what should be done with my unused ticket. Unbelievably inefficient and rude."
Prós: "There was quite a large selection of movies. New releases to old classics. All free."
Contras: "Boarding was delayed by a few hours due to mechanical issues but they did give us free food and drinks once we were on the plane."
Contras: "Without any explanation...American Airlines cancelled my reservation! I needed to be sent back to poor quality hotel for a night and take a different flight out the next morning. American Airlines was supposed to provide transportation back and forth from the hotel however a car never showed up at the hotel to pick us up and I needed to get my own taxi at the last minute (American did however reimburse me for the taxi fare at the airport). I never received an explanation as to why my reservation was cancelled and was never offered any type of compensation for such a major inconvenience. They dd ultimately waive my 25 bag fee but it wasn't very easy to even get that from them. I felt that they should have been more empathetic towards my inconvenience and offered me any type of compensation to make up for such a horrible experience. When I asked about possibly being upgraded to first class they told me absolutely not! A little graciousness can go a long way, American Airlines showed that they could not care less about my inconvenience (other than Rodrigo at the counter the next morning who actually showed he was truly sorry for the situation and at least ended up moving me to a row with more legroom). Other than this, I was extremely disappointed with this experience and how it was handled."
Contras: "I was supposed to be in stand by and the screen continue showing I could go to the counter and get a seat and I have to wait till the end so that I was going to be given a middle seat. I said forget about it, to pay 75 dlls for a change of ticket and you make me wait till the end to give me seat u want, forget it, I know this is stand by ticket but I dont like the attitude of the people, they dont help you at all really bad service you should learn from other airlines giving at least if you are delayed an apology and sometimes miles reward, not just food... Thanks for the SERVICE (i dont flight with you no more, even though cheap flights, but cheap things are expensive)"

I got to Dallas I was furious complain to customer relations. I at least wanted them to let me in to the admirals club so I could be comfortable for the next four hours. They refuse that but one lady at the customer relations apartment did give me a meal voucher which made me feel a little better."
