Contras: "Air France’s apathy towards its customers is shocking. Traveling with three children , our flight was delayed by 3hrs resulting us arriving in Paris after 1AM. With the airport shuttle(CDVAL) to our airport hotel closed, they offered no assistance despite of my request. Simply asked us to take a taxi (when all taxi stands are abandoned at 2AM). Beware if traveling with family."

If this were not enough, the airline also lost one of our bags so this week we have to file for compensation for both begin downgraded and for the contents of our 30 kilo bag which never made it to Ho Chi Minh. Air France was a complete and total disaster and I would strongly recommend all friends and colleagues to find alternative airlines for travel"

A lot of the passengers were disappointed ."

When I went to the Air France counter in the airport, the staff has gone for the day and trying to get a hold of telephone rep took 2-3 hours and I by the time I found about my new connection, I was already late. Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."

Contras: "Seats were atrociously uncomfortable for a 6'1" man. Less than zero leg room due to ridiculously tight row spacing and non-reclining seatbacks. Had to attempt to cram in sideways - resulting in serious pain by the time the flight finally landed. Intercom system, especially from the captain, was painfully grating and loud. Boarding was extremely slow, in part because gate personnel made no effort whatsoever to police and enforce the four-group boarding process (premium - no carry-on - group A - group B). People boarded whenever they felt like it, many carrying on huge backpacks and multiple other pieces. Will definitely avoid TAP in future."

Contras: "The crew did not know the law about child safety seats. They tried to inform us we could not use it, even though it is approved for air travel. Then they tried to tell us we had to face it forward, which is illegal and it cannot be secured like this. Then they told us the car seat needed to be against the fuselage, but that all the fuselage seats were taken. They did not offer a solution to this problem. I informed them this was TAP's fault for assigning those seats to us. They said they were not responsible, which is clearly wrong. They could have reassigned us at check-in and avoided the problem. They were very concerned about the ability of the person in front of us to recline their seat, but no interested at all in the safety of our baby. They told us we would not be able to use the seat, although our baby was already asleep. They were trying to find a way to make us leave the plane. Finally, some other passengers volunteered to move so we could sit against the fuselage with nobody in the seats in front of us, so we would not block them from reclining. A solution would not have been found by the crew. Only thanks to generous passengers were we able to stay on the plane, even though we were doing everything completely legally. They made my pregnant wife feel so bad that she cried for the first hour of the flight. Then, as the flight was concluding, our baby got airsick and vomited. They crew did nothing to help aside from bring 3 (!) napkins and then leave again. Incredibly unhelpful, mean, ignorant, and combative cabin crew. Truly appalling."

A televisão de entretenimento é da idade da pedra e mal funcionava. Não tem carregador USB e o banheiro estava muito sujo. Poltronas com zero conforto e o espaço para as pernas é um dos menores que já vi. Não viajo mais com a TAP."
Prós: "In flight crew is really nice and respectful, seats were comfortable, clean bathrooms, in flight entertainment is good."
Contras: "Boarding at Lisbon airport was one of the worst experiences. Passengers were asked to line up at least 30 minutes before boarding started and it was hot in the terminal. As boarding started, passengers were split into groups by boarding zones...premium passengers boarded first as expected, then people with small bags. This is where the problem was because a group of four passengers who had one small bag (that could fit under seat) were allowed to go before passengers in boarding zones A/B. The whole idea is people who could fit bags under their seat would board first, but the tap team made a mess and allowed many passengers with large bags in as well. I was one of the last ones to be boarded and stranded on the line for over 40 minutes with my backpack...after traveling for a month and being delayed in Rome, last thing you want is stupid mistakes like this to cause you stress."

Contras: "I never made it to EWR. Due to an inch of snow in Toronto, my flight was cancelled. I didn't find out until I landed in Toronto. There was no rebooking automatically like on other airlines. Once I did rebook, agent gave me wrong information and made me wait over an hour. I did get home, taking uber from a different airport. But should have been easier."

Contras: "No check in em Rochester a atendente colocou duas pessoas que viajam juntas em fileiras separadas. O avião que nos levou de Rochester para Toronto era alem de muito pequeno, velho e sujo o que causa preocupação com a segurança."

I tried to contact the company that was delivering it and could not reach them all day. Air Canada never offered to compensate me at all and now I will have to chase them down for compensation."

Contras: "Quando embarcamos, quase todos os espaços para as malas já estavam ocupados, o espaço lateral das poltronas era muito apertado, a reclinação era péssima, praticamente inexistente. Quando decolamos, começou a cair água na nossa cabeça. O funcionário responsável disse que era do ar condicionado e era normal. A comida era ruim, sem gosto e com acompanhamentos que não combinavam, por exemplo no meu caso era frango com uma salada de vagens e pepino. Fora o horário das refeições, quase não era oferecido bebidas em um voo de 10 horas."

Contras: "Things Beyond your control as an airline... Two kids next to me vomiting for the last hour. And holy moly, Canadians from the Montreal area can talk! The entire flight was filled with passengers non stop talking. Not kidding. And apparently the norm is to say something and then repeat it four times just to be sure. I thought Americans were the most annoying talkers, turns out we have competition."
Prós: "Crew were friendly and not bossy. Plane was not crowded. Pilot made up most of our lost time (see other box). Ground crew were friendly and efficient in Toronto, getting to me to my departure gate in time. I was pleased to be offered a food voucher."
Contras: "Departure delay of 3 hours from Tel Aviv. Unruly Haredim should be left on the ground in Toronto, not in London. Food voucher was usable at only one outlet, and Burger Ranch is a greasy spoon. Would more choice be too difficult to organize?"
