The flight crew members were all helpful and friendly and I enjoyed the drink (especially suco de maracuja) and snack offerings. As I spoke only limited Portuguese, I greatly appreciated the attempts made by the ground staff and flight crew to communicate with me, both in English and via hand gestures. I am certain that no domestic airline would be so helpful to non-English speakers in the USA!"
Contras: "I realize Azul cannot help being stuck in Terminal 2, but it's not the most comfortable place to wait for a flight. Also, after I walked through the gate, several boarding flights merged confusingly in a single passageway with exits to multiple planes and many people got lost and ended up (temporarily!) on the wrong airplane, despite heroic attempts by the ground crew to direct passenger traffic. There must be a better method than having everyone follow colored lines to the planes - it wasn't working!"

Super soft fluffy blankets, the flight attendants were amazing, courteous, hospitable, the food and drinks were awesome, loved the movies. 10/10 would fly again."

Contras: "When I booked my ticket, I booked a window seat in the exit row. When I got on the plane, my seat number was a middle seat not in the exit row. I saw right across from me there was an open window seat, which the lady sitting next to was using for her bags. I explained to the flight attendant that I had booked a window seat and wasn’t sure why I ended up in a different seat then I had booked. I asked him if he could ask the lady to move her bags so I could sit there, or if there were any other window seats available. He said no, that if I wanted I could ask the lady myself. Completely unacceptable. Of course she has no I treat in giving up this free extra space she has to me, and I’m sure she would have been happy to if a crew member had asked/explained the situation to her."

They claimed that we didn't order vegetarian meals (even though we did), but maybe it was for the best - the food was awful and there was enough. Thank God I brought trail mix with me, otherwise I would have starved. The airport in Panama City is AWFUL, HORRIBLE, the absolute WORST. Avoid that airport like the plague, if you can."

The plane left on time and entertainment option aboard is great. What I did not like is that being seated in row 3, for four flights, I never got to eat the meal I wanted. It's seems the option always dies in row 2, just after less than half of the passengers flying executive class have ordered they meal. The rest was great and I would fly copa again!"

Especialmente cuando tuvimos que aterrizar en Asunción debido a la tormenta (entiendo la demora, no pudo haber sido evitado), había muchas personas andando para hacerles preguntas a las empleados, pegándome y estando de pie con sus traseros muy cercas de mi cara. Era horrible sentarme allá."

Prós: "At least the two seats next to me were vacant, so I could sprawl out... probably because people don't want to use this airline."
Contras: "This flight was delayed in landing due to weather (not their fault) but I had a feeling, given their crappy service in my experience, that my checked bag wouldnt make it to my connecting flight... of course i was right. It wasnt so much that my bag didnt make it as it was their horrendous response that wss the bad part (I wrote another review for that leg of the trip)"

Contras: "Flight was booked through United and had 4 stops. The second two were handled by aerolineas. There was a 48 hour strike in affect when I landed in Buenos Aires. My connection was canceled but I was not notified by anyone. I got stranded in Buenos Aires for 2 days. Not a fun way to start my trip."

Contras: "I am baffled as to why water bottles were confiscated or emptied at the gate. This is the only airport in which I have encountered this after you have passed through security. It is important to stay hydrated on flights and the small cups of water delivered twice during the flight are not sufficient. No indication was given on tickets of what meals would be served. I ended up paying for a dinner in the airport only to be served a dinner at 12:30 am on the flight. It would make more sensed to have a light snack at that hour and a better breakfast served in the morning. The US Customs card handed to me was in Spanish only. An English option would have been good."

Contras: "I didn’t like the $233 in airport charges to be able to fly same days than original schedule (fare was originally $500 for a flight that is usually $150). Airline said airfare.com changed ticket with no authorization and ticket had to be reissued or flight dates changed. Airfare.com said it was the airline’s deed and beyond their control. Either way, they both make money out of this, and it was unforeseen for me, even after talking to customer service 12 hours before flight, and confirming all was fine. No one wants to be responsible about this but me and my wallet, then it sounds like a scam with forced payments. —- if kayak allows these type of charges to happen through their partner policy, then I’ll start booking directly with (other) airlines and take the intermediary out forever."

Prós: "The flight wasn’t crowded, but still, the boarding was very efficiently handled. Despite a weather system moving through, the ride was quite pleasant, with only a bumper two. The flight attendants were attentive and solicitous."
Contras: "Small point, I suppose, but when i’m On a “national champion” carrier like Aerolineas Argentinas, I expect them to put their coubtry’s Best foot forward. Having noticed in their in-flight magazine that the airline had improved its selection of Argentine wines, I asked which ones they had. The flight attendant said they had no wine on board because it was not an international flight. Since we were flying from Rio to Buenos Aires, I said “What?”, or words to that effect. I thought, “This will come as a surprise to both countries.” It reminded me of a TAP transatlantic flight I took last year, which had no Portuguese wines in board, not even Port. Why don’t airlines show more pride in their country’s food and drink?"

They offered streaming to your own device for IFE but I didn't use it. It's a pleasure to see so much improvement to Aerolineas vs. a few years ago. The monitors had dozens of flights and they were all on-time, both ways."

Contras: "Having to have carry on checked once again just before boarding the plane, this was time consuming, we had already been checked at the security checkpoint."

Definetely not a business class service, more like a economy plus service boarding should be a bit more organized Child meal should be assigned inmediately when you book a child, not upon request"

Prós: "Quick flight and boarding process once we got going. Airport is new and small."
Contras: "Flight was delayed nearly approximately three hours and the sign changed twice but little information given except to, "Ask an agent." It was explained once on board weather at the airporr was the hold up. No food or electronics on board to rate but the flight was only an hour so not a big deal to me but it's always nice to have a cell charger nearby. Flight crew was fine, didn't interact with them much due to short nature of the flight."

Contras: "I understand I bought a flight in economy, however, to sit for a 12 hour flight the space provided was super uncomfortable and it wasn't enough leg room. I have been on a 5 hour flight to Mexico from JFK with both AeroMexico and Interjet under economy and both airline provided significant leg room. I was disappointed with Aerolineas Argentinas, I was expecting more comfort."

Contras: "Flight staff is brusque and not very friendly or attentive to passengers."

Contras: "Old plane, delayed and the football team on the flight was celebrating in the asles the whole time so no one could sleep. The crew did not ask for them to be quiet or sit down. They literally were signing over safety announcements and during the whole flight!"

Prós: "If I was trying to get to Mendoza, the delay would not have been cool, but since we knew about the delay ahead of time, we were able to go have breakfast, lunch, and a couple hours at the hot springs. Thanks for the heads up!"

Contras: "For first class they had little service and seats were not comfortable. No wi-fi or charging abilities"

Prós: "It was my first time flying with LATAM and I loved it! The planes are amazing, such a great taste for everything. Delicious food! Everyone was so nice and helpful! Very attentive and polite. Definitely will be looking forward to travel with then again!"

Prós: "Timely, safe 3-hour flight from Punta Arenas, Patagonia, to Santiago, the capital of Chile. Fine leather seats, interesting in-flight magazine, OK seat recline and pitch. Great in-flight entertainment for as long as it was available. You can watch or listen to for free on your smartphone, tablet or laptop is a great selection of movies, TV series and music."
Contras: "The flight entertainment abruptly ended about 45 minutes before landing. The flight attendant told me they had to reset it because it was not working properly (it was fine as far as I could tell). However, it was not available for the rest of the flight."

Prós: "Was cold so requested a blanket, was told we will see ..Blankets were given to passengers in the front seat but I was ignored. I usually carry a warm scarf so do not need airline blankets."
Contras: "No issues will travel on this airline again."

Contras: "I needed to change my flight because of a death in the family. To change my flight was more expensive than the initial ticket itself. That is ridiculous. You should not do that to people. There should be a $300 change fee and that's it. At most. The entertainment would be good if I could hear it - but I couldn't. The sound was terrible. Uncomfortable seats. Barely slept. Overal terrible experience. Also turn on the damn entertainment while we are waiting on the tarmac - why wait until we are in the air? Almost every other airline - all the good ones - Emirates, Lufthansa, and other quality airlines - will let you access the in flight entertainment as soon as you sit. But the change cost of the ticket was the most offensive thing. I feel robbed, in a time of tragedy."

Contras: "My fly was delate for 2 hours reason from previous fly cancellation. They didn't notified me."

Prós: "A good amount of room, really enjoyed that you could check in two 23kg bags free. It helped a lot with the carry on baggage issue (lack of space, too many people wanting to put their too large bags in the overhead bins). Good entertainment selection, they provide headphones which is nice. Comfy blankets. The crew was attentive and patient."
Contras: "Started boarding late but the captain got us to our destination early even in spite of late boarding."

And on my ticket I didn't have the gate number or the terminal, the goalkeeper said he would let me know when the flight was leaving, the hours passed and I didn't hear him calling me. until near the departure time I went to ask the employee and he said that the flight had left a long time ago and that the entrance was on the opposite side of where I was and they did not warn me ... now I'm here at the airport with no place to sleep, waiting for my other flight with a connection to Brasilia that leaves 6 am where I will wait for almost 12 hours to be able to get home. remembering that my flight from São Paulo to Cuiabá was 3 hours long and I will have to wait for almost 24 hours. A goalkeeper was super arrogant with me, gave me no support and even told me that if I was in the United States I would be waiting for 3 days at the airport sleeping on the floor, so it was ok."

Contras: "Flight was 1 hour late. It would be better if they kept the flights on time specially this time of the year. They had several flights daily from São Paulo to Rio, no reason to be late. It would be better if the employees knew the rules about their work. Everything very disorganized from the gate number to the carry on allowed in the plane. I will never fly with Gol again."

Contras: "Seriously, a sandwich and some indistinguishable "dessert". Honestly, I can't tell you what the 2nd item was on the try, even after trying it. I get that the flight was only 3 hours long, but a sandwich is not dinner. And, it tasted horrible. I took 3 bites and couldn't stomach the rest. It was laughable that they offered wine with it. Had I realized this was the option, I would have brought my own food. My husband, who eats literally everything, couldn't even eat it, and it was a cheese sandwich. How hard is it to make a bad cheese sandwich? Well, apparently, GOL knows how to do it."

Got there by 9:15 only to find out it’s been closed for checking bags. I beg , implore and there’s nothing to be done. Pay extra for 2 extra bags, for what? Nothing. Lost about $75 altogether non refundable. SUCKS."
Contras: "What’s to like? Because of 30 they couldn’t added mire luggage. Begging imploring it didn’t matter. Ok I didn’t like loosing $75. Who’s gonna refund? Nobody. SUCKS"

Prós: "Knowing that GOL is an LCC, I was not expecting much. However, after realizing that every seat had the legroom typical of a Extra Comfort seat on NA carriers, I soon became won over. Regular recline functionality (missing on some of the larger LCCs worldwide) and a free drink and snack (also missing on many LCCs), TOO was truly a relaxing flight. 10/10. Would definitely fly again."
