Prós: "It is so far a cut above the American carriers. There’s no way to compare them, because Qatar Airways is so far superior. The seats are far more comfortable and larger, the amount of legroom is far superior, you have much more personal space, and the craft is cleaner. Flight Attendants are fantastic! They provide excellent personal care, and are there for everything. They are supremely polite and courteous, and bring things in mediately. Very often anticipating your needs. This is what flying used to be like on United and American. But those people have completely forgotten what service is. Qatar is a 5 star airline. United and American, to my view, are 2 star at best."

Prós: "Latam could not issue a boarding pass at Santiago. This led to long waiting at Brazilian immigration checkpoint. Not having a Visa kept me.from entering the immigration and security wont let me in without a boarding pass. security supervisor had to contact Emirates ground staff who escorted me."

A380 business cabin has been economy classed to within an inch of its life, too few crew and those that are on duty disorganised and stressed. 777 crew ratio was 3 crew to 1 pax :)"
Contras: "Engine noise. Boarding in Dubai was a farce as called to gate even though aircraft was severely delayed inbound. Surly lounge staff didn’t help. Business Class gate desk ‘closed’ even though staffed as person was busy on the phone. Weird 2 - 3 - 2 layout means window and centre seats have to clamber over reclined neighbours. Seat width better than A380 and also less tomb like when reclined to nearly flat bed."

Contras: "The connection in Dubai was horrible. The 30 minute bus ride is so ridiculous. It's very difficult to even find the Business Class Lounge. No greeters. No signage. Terrible service. Even pajamas are not provided in Business Class --- unlike on Qatar Airways."

Took 1 hr to drop a bag. Got through security line and told my boarding pass is no good. 30 min before flight. Back to Swiss. Have a meltdown and finally they help. Now I’m in Geneva and my bags in Zurich..."

Contras: "I liked everything except the airplane itself, which I hated. I was fortunate enough to get an exit row on my long flight going over; I did not get lucky on my way home. The flights between Zurich and Brindisi were more comfortable than the long haul flights. The long haul flights are abominable and should be outlawed by governments as they are currently configured. The boy next to me literally could not fit his legs/thigh bones in the space provided by his seat. I did okay as I am not tall, until the woman in front of me decided to lean back. It is not her fault, however, though I thought nasty things about her and periodically tried to dig my knees into her back to get her to lift up her seat. The fault belongs entirely to Swiss Air, which chooses to treat human customers as steerage. The only thing that made the experience worse was the impossibility of choosing my seat online for my return because I had only a smart phone with not-great wifi available. Choosing one's seat should not be dependent on having good wifi and a computer, however. It is bad practice to "sell" seat choices. The families around me were not able to sit together because of this shoddy, greedy practice on the part of the airline. It is also not fair, subsequently, that other passengers are faced with giving up the seats they've chosen, or been given, to assist families in sitting together. Honestly, the extent of the greed on the part of airlines nowadays is astonishing. What used to be a thoroughly enjoyable way of traveling has become an ordeal at best."

Contras: "I'm only 5 months pregnant, barely showing, and the seat tray nearly didn't fit in the down position! So uncomfortable. Also the chicken sandwich was gross. The bread was gritty and dry."

Contras: "1) my seat was broken (didn't recline) 2) my USB charger... Broken.. 3) my food was in a metal container that was stamped and the ink from the stamp leaked and was pressed across my food. I was literally not about to eat the alphabet... (luckily, a nice attendant came by and apologized, as I know it was not her fault the food came out like this. 4) Rude attendant came over 25 mins after I had turned on my attendant button to ask for a bottle of water. (I turned it on while they were still serving drinks) (also forgot I needed water to take some medicine that required to drink a full glass) She came up to me and my fellow passenger, yelled at BOTH us while she was waving her hands our face. I mentioned to her "it's not polite to treat people this way" she moved her hands closer to my face thrusting her whole body over my fellow passengers face, and continued yelling at me about turbulence (while she's completely avoiding the rule herself.) He and I were both seated and buckled and not bothering anyone. She could've just taken her own lecture and kept ignoring the signal. I wrote about this in customer support letter that the 'NICE' and 'Helpful' attendant Gave to me that sincerely apologized for the previous attendants behavior."

No upgrade poaaibility due to wrong booking class (even if flights are very expensive) if this continues to go that way I will change airline alliance This is more a miles and more issue but it is really annoying me in a way that I really consider changin"

Contras: "Atrasso, comida ruim"

Contras: "I contacted Turkish Airlines 4x times before my flight to learn how to deal with excess medical baggage, mobility assistance, and meal assistance. The Customer Call Center claimed to have made all of my necessary reservation updates for all of my special meal, medical, and mobility assistance needs. They did not! When I arrived at Check-In, there were no notes about any of my requests, nor services prepared to facilitate them. I spent over 30-45 minutes escalating the situation to the Shift Manager who had to contact the central call center and her own manager, just to find out what to do about medical baggage, what's permitted, etc. I was embarrassed for their employees, who not only didn't know their own company policy on the matter, nor were they aware of the industry standard. After much arguing, yelling and threats, the Check-In desk agents finally allowed my excess medical baggage and equipment without extra charge. I still received no mobility assistance to begin my travel after Check-In to my departure gate, nor were they prepared to offer this to me in Istanbul. Again, after a long wait, much yelling, screaming, and arguing, I was finally provided mobility assistance just in time for my flight. I almost missed my flight due to Turkish Airlines not putting my request in the system, nor caring enough about the traveler to do so at Check-In. When I arrived in Belgrade, 3x pieces of my luggage were destroyed and unusable again, medical equipment was damaged, and I filed a claim with Turkish Airlines. They tried every way possible not to pay, but finally offered a meager claim, nothing close to what it cost for the damage caused or to repair or replacement the destroyed luggage or medical equipment. Turkish Airlines is the Grey Hound of travel, sure they might be large, offer many itineraries and frequent travel, but their quality, customer service and professionalism leave them amongst the bottom feeders, still 3rd world in mentality, form and function. No honor, no integrity, no class. No reason to ever fly with Turkish again, and I'm happy to tell everyone I know not to fly with them!"

Contras: "Deplaning and boarding at Istanbul. There were no gangways. We were made to get into a bus in heavy rainfall. We were drenched by the time we got into the next plane."

Contras: "Poderia ter melhores filmes, de resto nota 10"

Prós: "A aeronave é bem equipada e confortável. A equipe muito simpática."
Contras: "Não tinha instruções em português ou funcionários que falassem. O wifi não conectou."

Prós: "-Boarding was easy - The crew was very friendly and helpful"
Contras: "- The leg spacing was not sufficient - The sandwich served was average"

Prós: "Crew accepted to move our seats for emergency leave zone where there is more space for legs"
Contras: "Turkish airline has decreased space between seats for a non acceptable distance... you guys need to rethink it!"

Prós: "Airplane crew was amazingly friendly and helpful"

Prós: "The Lounge at Istanbul airport is fantastic"
Contras: "Seating in Economy class is terrible. For tall persons like me it is a punshment to be squeazed in such a narrow space. Turkish airlines should add more space and comfort with their seating in Economy. Introduce a Premium Economy Class would solve that problem"

Contras: "No space"

Prós: "No comment"

Contras: "This has been a nightmare that is yet to end. After being delayed for two hours out of Rome to Istanbul and missing our connection to Jeddah with hundreds of other stranded passengers from the other flights, Turkish Airlines incompetent handling had us wait in multiple ques for more than five hours only to provide us a hotel for two hours and then shuttle back to a flight 12 hours later! I have yet to hear an explanation from anyone about what happened or a simple sorry for your trouble. This is operational incompetence at full display. Never Again!"

Prós: "Much nicer crew and attendants. Generous service and alcohol... Helped with the sleep"
Contras: "Food wasn't as good"

Contras: "Crew was. It helpful at all. They created more confusion and frustration. I spend 24 hours calling and talking to them in order to rebook the flight. Worst experience ever"

Prós: "Onboard food was good"
Contras: "Crew wasn't attentive, flight boarding was delayed with passengers on the bus waiting for boarding ramp to the plane, for awhile no explanation was given."

Prós: "Great food! Loved that you get a menu to choose from"
Contras: "We were not asked or given the option to choose our seats on the plane."

Prós: "Very uncomfortable seat. Very narrow walk way to lavatory."

Prós: "The staff!"
Contras: "The turbulence lol"

Prós: "Flight attendants need to be friendly."
Contras: "I will never use Turkish airlines again."

Prós: "Nothing."
Contras: "The fact that I missed my connection flight in Thailand because of a two hour delay. I was never informed why there was so much of a delay and in turn I had to pay triple of what I payed before for my flight. Very disappointed. Won't be flying this airline again. Service was rude. They should be more responsible when it comes to timing. We were on the flight waiting for two hours!!!"

Prós: "Great smooth flight, amazing movies, everything was clean and smelled great, crew was catering"
Contras: "Nothing to complain about!"

Prós: "Will definitely fly Turkish Airlines again."

Prós: "Great crew. Super nice to our 4 year old daughter. They were quick, extra polite and efficient. I'm usually quite picky but this leg was perfect."
Contras: "It was all good(which I rarely get to say these days on any carrier)"

Contras: "Em athenas recebi uma informação errada, na qual me disseram q eu não precisaria retirar minha bagagem em São Paulo, que iria direto pro Rio de Janeiro. Após o desembarque em São Paulo, quase perdi a conexão esperei horas até conseguir recuperará minha mala, não havia nenhum funcionário da turkish ou avíanca para me orientar nem me ajudar a recuperar bagagens. Tive q contar com ajuda de seguranças do aeroporto que já haviam visto aquela situação . Não houve pedido de desculpas, nem nenhuma assistência."

Contras: "Why does Turkish Air boarding always have to be so chaotic - pushing and shoving, etc. Why cant TK control their business class space - people from economy always coming up for bathrooms when there are plenty in the back....."

Prós: "food is always good..crew too"
Contras: "less and less space in economy class for passengers not very kind boaridng people no info on posibble complimentary upgrade for Gold Card passengers"

Prós: "Always love THY's customer service!"

Prós: "Better food and service than other airlines on which I've traveled recently. Loading passengers was disciplined and speedy. Staff very helpful. Istanbul airport is great for a long wait. If you go to a gate waiting area with no flight soon, you can stretch out and sleep. Good English-language bookstore."

Prós: "Free wifi for business class HD movies + good quality DENON headseat"
Contras: "Terrible foods taste Zero hospitality crews Lack of food and deink service during 13hour flight"

Prós: "One crew member was very good but all were not very available or checking on people. I had a seat that I purchased and it was very hard to recline I only found out that it did if fact recline it the last hour to hour and a half of the trip! It was a difficult push back to get it to recline"
Contras: "If I knew how to recline my seat earlier. I did try several times"

Prós: "The flight was smooth, the service was friendly, and the food with plentiful."
Contras: "Too much activity in the cabin during the flight."

Contras: "Devido à um pouso de emergência fomos forçados a pemanecer dentro do avião por 8 horas!"

Prós: "Sistema de entretenimento é um destaque a parte! Opção de internet à bordo (pagamento a parte), refeição de excelente qualidade!"

Prós: "Os acentos são os padrões da classe econômica, mas um destaque que merece respeito é o sistema de entretenimento/multimídia, além da opção de internet à bordo (pagamento a parte, caro, mas para quem precisa, é ótimo). Sempre tem algo na galley para quem gosta de esticar as pernas!"

Prós: "Do serviço de bordo"
Contras: "Gostaria que tivesse uma tradução para português, através do sistema de multimídia, seja por legenda ou áudio, nas orientações no decorrer do voo"

Prós: "We got to Amsterdam on time"
Contras: "1. Paying for the seats we chose...that will never happen again...I'll fly another airline first. 2. The food was terrible. I have flown KLM for years, this was not what I expected. 3. The plane was very dirty"

Prós: "The constant smile conferred by flight attendants through the entire flight."
Contras: "The boarding was a bit disorderly. Lanes for zones 3 and 4 were not clearly indicated."

Contras: "Trouble checking in regarding a visa issue?.. no other trouble at the other airports.."

Prós: "MCR airport Mert & Greet parking was smooth and efficient."
Contras: "Flight was delayed 2 hours due to bad weather. Additional baggage payment to Air Baltic did not show up on the KLM system and we had to pay again. Nowhere to address this with Air Baltic even in Tallin. Handlers seem uninterested and refer us to ‘the website to address the issue.....’"

Prós: "Flight crew very nice"
Contras: "Paid $70 for seat with more leg room and was the exit role to main entrance. No overhead space for carry on: broken food tray holder. People stepping on my feet. And gather in your space waiting for bathrooms. Window seat had no room for feet because of closed door"

Contras: "The flight advertised meals..a small pastry was served an hour into the flight. I asked when the meal would be and was told a few hours...which turned out to be breakfast..i wated all night for food that only came an hour before landing. Now hungrey and tierd.I.will not be flying klm ever again !!"

Prós: "Tripulação"

Prós: "Arrieved on time!"
Contras: "Dem entretenimento"

Contras: "Ter que caminhar muito no chegada ao Galeão"

Prós: "The cabin crew was so kind, efficient, and attentive. All meals and snacks were delicious."

Contras: "Do conforto no banco do meio da fileira de 3(três) pessoas"

Prós: "Boarding was as expected, crew & food were ok. Nothing else positive to extract out of this flight."
Contras: "Delayed flight, horrible baggae policy when the flight is actually operated by a partner of the company you bought the ticket from and not the actual company. Dirty seats, no in-flight entertainment whatsoever (not even a magazine)."

Prós: "Arrived Early!"
Contras: "Left Late :-)"

Prós: "Sandwich was incredibly tasty (although not much filling)"
Contras: "2 hours on the tarmac delayed with no explanation. Uncomfortable seats, no leg room. Poor management of seating, there was enough empty seats to have groups together but they were split up. Drinks served from a communal bottle in a polystyrene cup."

Contras: "After more than two hours of delay... Initially the flight takes off was at 8:35... Then 21:20... Then 21:50... Then 22:10. Finally we took off at 22:40... Refund our money klm..."
