No one could explain to me the difference of the weight in the overhead versus the belly of the plane. I will NEVER fly LATAM again and will make sure that I spend a lot more than $30 for all of my future travels in their region. Too bad that their rules are designed to steal from the customer. I won’t be fooled again."

Contras: "Disaster started at noon of the day of flight. Got notification flight delayed by 2 hours. That means I miss my coonection. Options for changes meant getting to destination 24 hours a later or with extra stop. I managed to buy a much better direct flight same day from different airline. And cheaper. I was so lucky. Getting refund for this disaster itinerary. But it worked out in the end."

Contras: "On a 10 hour flight (LAX to Santiago Chile) they should offer more snacks and drinks for people to help themselves to in economy class. Other airlines have water and juice available I felt like I was bothering a crew member every time asked for a glass of water, when I could have just helped myself. Also, maybe have a few light snacks available. After a very light lunch, 8 and a half hours is a very long wait till breakfast!"

Contras: "Customer service was not friendly or helpful in any way shape or form. not concerned for its guests or empathetic. the only thing that came across was that they sincerely didn't care even to make the airline more $$ in selling an upgrade of seats!"

Prós: "They lost our bags in the way there due to their own fault. Really unhelpful throughout the recovery process which luckily did not take long."

Prós: "Despite having a high "Sapphire" status with this One World Partner and being promised "preferente" seats by the airline when I reserved seats months ago, I was unable to view the seats or check in online. Both their App and their online system were down and unavailable. We were never able to view our actual seats online. The "preferred seats" my group on 5 could not have been worse!! We were seated consistently in row 11 or the very last row of the aircraft immediately in front of the lavatory, where the seats do not recline at all and where you hear and smell the bathroom for the entire flight.. There was NO space to breathe in our seats. I have traveled on dozens of airlines and this experience and these seats were the WORST! After this happened once, I specifically asked to insure that it would not happen again and was told that seats on my next flights were good but they were the same horrible seats. Part of our itinerary was on LAN and part was on TAM, who have now combined into 1 airline, but still operate on separate systems. So LAN customer service could not see the seats for TAM flights and vice versa. Their online system reflected a changed time for our return flight from 145pm to 250pm from Rio. We verified it 3 times (even though we could not check in or view our seats because of "technical difficulties" we could see the new departure tie, and the change was confirmed by our Sheraton concierge, but when we arrived to the airport they informed us that we had arrived to late for our 145pm flight! We showed them the app that showed our flight was changed to 250pm and they could not explain the problem. We were delayed 4 hours and arrived too late for dinner in Santiago. The final 4 hour flight at 4am flight from Santiago to Lima was torture. The seat in front was literally 6 inches in front of my face when they reclined and I could not recline. It was absolute TORTURE! Avoid this airline! To add the agony, they have lost my bag and do not know where it is!"
Contras: "Horrible seats even for "preferred" status clients. Unreliable and unavailable online service to check in and confirm seats. Two airlines who cannot view or help with the other's flights or even view seats or accurate flight information pretend to call themselves one airline. Lost luggage! Nearly impossible credit card payment system would not accept American credit cards"

Prós: "Not much since not only were we screened by the airport authorities but also by Latam. I purchased some water after security but had to leave it since they would not allow it on the plane. Had they let us know about this sooner I could have saved money."
Contras: "The Latam personnel who searched our bags prior to boarding put on gloves which I though was very good. The bad part was that I saw 2 members of the search party sneeze into the gloves and touch their noses without changing gloves. How disgusting!!! Never Latam again! I would rather pay a few dollars more and not put up with this health violation."

Contras: "If I had at least boarded the flight I could have given feedback. But I didn't get in! I spent 6 hours at the airport waiting for my flight, with check in done and missed the flight. And on my ticket I didn't have the gate number or the terminal, the goalkeeper said he would let me know when the flight was leaving, the hours passed and I didn't hear him calling me. until near the departure time I went to ask the employee and he said that the flight had left a long time ago and that the entrance was on the opposite side of where I was and they did not warn me ... now I'm here at the airport with no place to sleep, waiting for my other flight with a connection to Brasilia that leaves 6 am where I will wait for almost 12 hours to be able to get home. remembering that my flight from São Paulo to Cuiabá was 3 hours long and I will have to wait for almost 24 hours. A goalkeeper was super arrogant with me, gave me no support and even told me that if I was in the United States I would be waiting for 3 days at the airport sleeping on the floor, so it was ok."

Contras: "Flight was 1 hour late. It would be better if they kept the flights on time specially this time of the year. They had several flights daily from São Paulo to Rio, no reason to be late. It would be better if the employees knew the rules about their work. Everything very disorganized from the gate number to the carry on allowed in the plane. I will never fly with Gol again."

Contras: "Seriously, a sandwich and some indistinguishable "dessert". Honestly, I can't tell you what the 2nd item was on the try, even after trying it. I get that the flight was only 3 hours long, but a sandwich is not dinner. And, it tasted horrible. I took 3 bites and couldn't stomach the rest. It was laughable that they offered wine with it. Had I realized this was the option, I would have brought my own food. My husband, who eats literally everything, couldn't even eat it, and it was a cheese sandwich. How hard is it to make a bad cheese sandwich? Well, apparently, GOL knows how to do it."

Lost about $75 altogether non refundable. SUCKS."

Prós: "Knowing that GOL is an LCC, I was not expecting much. However, after realizing that every seat had the legroom typical of a Extra Comfort seat on NA carriers, I soon became won over. Regular recline functionality (missing on some of the larger LCCs worldwide) and a free drink and snack (also missing on many LCCs), TOO was truly a relaxing flight. 10/10. Would definitely fly again."
Contras: "I mean, there was no entertainment available (to my knowledge) but there was allegedly Wi-Fi (I didn't try)."

Contras: "Old plane. One hour of delay. No one explain the reason"

Contras: "Uncomfortable seats."

Contras: "Flight extremely delayed, people accompaning crew boarded first and took space in the overhead, i tried to change seats no no one at the gate was willing to work"

Prós: "Plane itself was fine, fairly spacious and comfortable."
Contras: "Check in São Paulo was hectic and disorganized and my bag never made it on the flight after I checked it in- was not offered any vouchers or apology. I am left without any luggage in the jungle and will have to cancel my Amazon Jungle tour as I do not have my proper equipment needed."

Prós: "Crew members were helpful"
Contras: "Food was bad and didn't taste fresh. No tea to drink either. Boarding times were usually late but arrival times were as expected. There's no entertainment at all in the planes. No screens, no movies, no nothing."

Prós: "Got me there on time"
Contras: "Charged for coffee. No in-flight entertainment, crew was not all that friendly"

Prós: "No entertainment available. No monitors on seats..."

Contras: "Flight was diverted to Rio"

Prós: "Employees were helpful profesional and friendly"
