Bording stuart said that my ticket is ECO LIGHT class and I don't have the right to any baggage. Worst thing of all was that the reason of my trip to Paris was my sister's graduation and half of the baggage was my formal wear and other half were presents for my sister! Your lack of transparency ruined one in lifetime special event- MY SISTER'S GRADUATION. I am very glad that you asked me for my opinion because I am using my free time to demand full refund, even tough the damage is much bigger than the cost of the ticket and it's irreplaceable."

Prós: "There was a half hour delay due to some no-show passengers. The flight was delayed while their bags were removed. The problem was explained well. The flight crew seemed to made up for much of the delay by flying faster or more directly so the total flight time did not increase by 30 minutes. Fortunately this was our final flight segment so the delay was not a problem."

Contras: "I was disappointed that the two female flight attendants on my side (seats A&B) did not come across friendly, and any request appeared to be a bother. At one point I requested bread and butter, the flight attendant seemed annoyed and said if she can find some, and never came back to me. I went to the galley, where a male flight attendant was working on something. I requested some bread and butter from him, was met with s smile, and was able to locate a roll and butter for me in under a min. Please note, I do not think this was a gender issues, it just happens to be the situation with this case, and I specified it as I do not know the names of the flight attendants, but the airline should be able to identify who was working the different sections."

Contras: "I am still in Chicago - waiting on airline decision if I can have my emotional support puppy with me - had to change flight and for change pay $650 - and cen can not cancel and get my money back - whole think is a horrible experience - and still waiting on their Thais decision"

Prós: "I landed SAW airport with another operator. Turkish airlines should have simply waited for me as my reservation with them starts in SAW airport. My previous operator sent my luggage to SAW as final destination, which means i have to cross passport control, collect my luggage and start the check-in process; given the time window between the flights, that was simply impossible. TURKISH AIRLINE's ground staff - transit team of SAW airport - Made it happen! I was requested just to wait, then they confirmed transferring the luggage and gave me respective tags! landed CDG - Paris to find my bag safe and sound :)"

Contras: "WOULD NOT TAKE TURKISH AIRLINES AGAIN IF MY LIFE DEPENDED ON IT. I took a flight from JFK to Tel Aviv, with a a layover in Istanbul. Turkish delayed my first flight by 2 hours, which caused me to miss my layover, and the next flight from Istanbul to Tel Aviv was not until the next day. They made me pay for a visa to get into Istanbul, took me to a hotel about 30 minutes from the airport, and then did not serve me any food for dinner. The Istanbul airport was a mess, the flight attendants and everyone working for the airline was EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL. Then on the return flight, they changed the time of my flight at the last minute, which caused me to almost miss it. On top of that, they lost my baggage and took a week to get it back. DO NOT EVER FLY TURKISH, YOU WILL REGRET IT."

Prós: "The fares were cheap and there was no mistaking we were in economy class: the seats were relatively uncomfortable, and the cabin seemed a bit out-of-date. BUT: for being economy class, legroom seemed above average. The food service was amazing, and cabin crew was incredibly attentive and friendly. I will absolutely look to fly Turkish Air in the future!"
Contras: "The worst part of the trip: other passengers. Some of them were pretty pushy and aggressive, while others had somewhat dubious standards of personal hygiene."

Prós: "A three hour flight and they gave us a very nice meal and beverage selection. Never happen in the U.S. unless you are flying first class, and even then they wouldn't exceed Turkish Airlines. When did you last have metal eating utensils with your meal..... if you even got a meal. Plus multi channel seat back entertainment on a three hour flight. I wish the U.S. would open domestic markets to foreign carriers."

Contras: "The flight was delayed. There was a terrible backlog in Security at Frankfurt Airport. This is not Lufthansa's fault but considering how important Frankfurt is, you would think the airlines would say something. The flight was late. There were no proper queues for boarding. Everone was mixed up, business, gold card, economy, and only one person doing the chekcing of boarding passes. It was not the best process."

Contras: "Our flight was 9 hours late. We were given no notice of this until we arrived at the gate. it took an hour if holding before we could reach customer service. Customer service at our arrival gate was extremely slow. Baggage claim closed before my daughter’s luggage was released and it was lost until the next day. Our connecting flight was booked incorrectly do we had to spend the night in Frankfurt. Our 13 hour flight took 29 hours. The food was awful."

Contras: "Flight was 2 hours late in departing from Frankfurt."

Prós: "The seats are comfortable and the plane was clean and well-presented."
Contras: "The flight left with a slight delay. As I boarded, I was issued a new seat in the middle, as opposed to the window seat I had selected. There was zero explanation for this change. When I approached the flight attendants about it, with a smile on my end, I was offered the equivalent of a shrug. As I gave up, I was also informed there was no more room in the overhead bins, so not only did I end up sitting in the middle (which I loathe), but also with my carry-on under my feet. I’ve always been a fan of Lufthansa, but I’m a little disappointed this time around."

Contras: "You cancelled. Cost me lost lodging, missed connecting flights and a day of my trip."

Contras: "Having to go through a second security check line between flights in Frankfurt. Had already done it in cape town and no one could explain why we had to do it again. Side note: my flight from cape town to Frankfurt was earful... the guy seated next to me had excessive flatulence and their were dueling baby crying for 7/12hrs. IMO infants Should not be allowed on flights over 3hrs in length.... they can ruin a flight for a whole plane"

Apparently the equipment was changed and I did not learn that I would need a seat re-assignment until I scanned my boarding pass during boarding. (However, the gate agent was quick to accommodate)."

Contras: "There were no Lufthansa representatives in Frankfurt airport upon my arrival. Also my connecting flight wasn't showing on electronic board. I had to get WiFi connection in order to get any info. I was very unhappy about it ."

Prós: "The free glass of red wine when the plane finally took off."
Contras: "The flight was delayed. We were told that it was just a half an hour delay by the man that was informing us of the delay and then we were then told by a woman that it was going to be over an hour. We weren’t told any specifics of why the plane was delayed, other than: “ the engineers are looking at the issue now”. We received messages saying that the flight was cancelled but then we were told to ignore that. We were told that we would have an update every 10-15 minutes but by the time we had the next update was 1 hours later, we were told that the plane will depart at 15:50- which we did. But we also sat on the plane for an extra 2 hours or maybe even more (couldn’t bare watching the time at this point) because the man that was supposed to push the plane backwards in order to reverse the plane didn’t turn up so we then had to wait for all of the other planes to take off before we could. Eventually the plane set off at 18:20 and I got in France 19:30-20:00 ish?"

Prós: "Nothing"
Contras: "Plane left 45 minutes late. No reason given either when waiting or after late boarding. I didn't eat as I tried to sleep byt narrow seats meant being woken constantly by fidgety neighbour. Fortunately the plane made up most of the lost time and I got my next Air France flight. This one was 50 minutes late departing."

Prós: "Absolutely everything perfect."
Contras: "Through my own fault I ordered a different seat instead of window seat. :)"

Prós: "Boarding was on time"
Contras: "flight was delayed by 20 minutes Boarding got me through Sky priority quickly. Had to then wait in the boarding tunnel as the cabin was not ready. large queue Seats were exactly the same as economy so offered no added benefits apart from the meal on board parked in a distant area of the terminal and had to shuttle bus to 2E which meant a very tight transfer"

Contras: "Flight was delayed 3 times and when I was finally put on a flight that was leaving, they failed to check the connection in Paris (Left me 10 minutes to get from the aircraft to the other plane!) I was moved to SAA in the end after a truly traumatic time in Johannesburg. This is not the first time I have suffered at the hands of Air France sadly. Needless to say, I wont be booking with Air France again."

Contras: "They loosed our reserved seats, our luggage, food was awful, ground staff was disrespectful."

There's like 6 of these and they're taken immediately. - Normal (middle of the plane): are you kidding me? These are NORMAL seats and you charge an extra €30? - Normal (2 seats per row!): what a bargain. Same crappy seats, but two people instead of three! This is really worth my money. - Upgrade to business! Why are you so poor! AF food went from being the best in international flights to disgusting microwave food (especially vegetarian)."

They didn't do anything about the kids disruptive behavior and extremely load talking (reciting abc and counting). I asked if they could talk to the parents and they said no, the beverage service was not good as I couldn't get more water and the seats were awful! Why wasnt the wifi working? even if it worked I'd have to purchase it even tho it was an international flight. I will not fly American Airlines again!"

Contras: "The comfort was not the best, tiny middle seat. He worst part was the delayed. We ended up boarding 3hours late in Dallas for the Paris flight."

I bought tickets for some airlines called Finnair and end up in the worse airline there is “American Airline” this is Not fare for clients, I refuse to flight Americans Airline, if I would have known I would have not buy this flight. 7 hours in a plane with no TV, no free drinks and the worse service. This is a trick, by using Finnair and then end up in AA! There is no Finnair, this is a lie! I am so disappointed about Kayak and won’t use it again. Thank you for rob me and trick me into the worse experience!"

Prós: "The Flight Crew were very friendly and helpful."
Contras: "Business class, Boeing 767-300 The seating configuration was 1/2/1 I would give these seats on a scale from 1 to 10 a 5, this was a very basic B/C seat, without a TV screen integrated to the seat in front of you, instead the flight crew hand out individual passenger entertainment systems, that are a pain to deal with and get in the way of everything your trying to do (ie eat, work, sleep.) I’m only 5’9 and I found when the seat was in the bed mode, the seat slopped down very slightly, and your feet would end up underneath the side table to the row of seats in front of you. As i wear a size 13 shoe, i found that space to be rather cramped especially for my feet."

Prós: "The whole crew was amazing! The food was actually decent and nicely warmed. Everyone was really friendly and the on-flight movie selection was great."
Contras: "Truly an awesome flight. I can't think of anything that they could have done"

Contras: "Was informed when we checked in that the flight we had purchased did not exists. We were informed thatcher would have to wait 24hours (after an already 7 hour layover) to catch another flight to Los Angeles. After debating with customer servinge several times and being forced to wait in line after being told things were fixed several time we had to threaten to record conversations and had someone call American Airlines headquarters and finally was able to get in the flight the same night. We at work be point were laughed at by an American Airlines customer service professional. I had purchased upgraded seats since I’m over 6 feet tall and they were not able to accommodate on the new flight, the flight was horrible and I had ton stand up every hour to make I the whole 12 hours."

Contras: "Meals were minimal. Entertainment system is archaic. Seats tight and narrow and hard."

Contras: "How much tighter can they cram us? I'm 5'11" and 185 pounds and was too wide for the seats!"

Prós: "Clean plane. Excellent service. On time."

Prós: "The only decent point was the food. Not great but at least edible."
Contras: "Since check in in São Paulo was a complete chaos. There were only 2 people helping on check in (in machines) and these people were still not helping people (like me) with questions about on how to do check in in those machines. On the other hand to dispatch the bags there were almost 8 attendants to receive the bags. Ridiculous! I’ve tried calling American Airlines and Latam several times to assign a seat for me and they swore there were only middle seats but I know how airlines work to make extra money on these seats. At the end, they only gave me a middle seat option and I had to take I.t of course. On the plane I realized there were dozens of empty seats and yet they made sure not give them to me or anyone else. Unbelievable! Unfortunately I still have to use AA on my way back to Brazil. After this, I’ll chose another airlines for sure. Also, the 3,4,3 arrangement is ridiculous: there’s no corridor space making people touching you everything someone passes by your seat. And boy! Those seats are so uncomfortable and there’s no way to incline the chair so you can even have a little rest (because it’s impossible to even sleep on those seats). The crew were simply doing their jobs! No pleasure! No smile! No engaging with anyone unfortunately! They looked miserable and I asked for water and the flight attendant NEVER brought me anything. Seriously! Water is free!"

Prós: "The actual flight was fine. But leading up to it not so much."
Contras: "Please inform travelers that their passport must not expire within 3-6 months of their trip to France. I was unaware of this and was not allowed on our flight in Philadelphia because my passport would expire in two months. We lost an entire day in France because I had to go to the customs office the next morning and get an emergency passport. I travel frequently, but somehow was not aware of this rule. If I had known I would have fixed the issue months ago. Multiple people viewed my ticket and passport before arriving in Philadelphia and no one caught this error until right as I was boarding the flight to Paris."

Contras: "My flight IB 4190 from DFW to Paris on 11/11/17 @ 17:55 was operated by American Airline. I was denied to pay for my second check in bag for the simple reason that I didn't buy my ticket with American Airline!! According to American Airline agent (Danielle) at the counter, a ticket purchased with Iberia only allow 1 check bag for free and you are not allow to check in an additional bag. I called the travelling agency and Iberia customer service agent (Jose) while I was at the airport. They both told me that I should go with the luggage rule of American Airline which allow passenger to pay for a second bag. Danielle refused to talk to both agents I called. I need someone to tell me how my luggage can be send to me to Paris please. I had a very bad experience with this trip. Please help clarify the discrepancy!"

Contras: "The entertainment needs to be updated! They're should be individual TVs on a long flight overseas. On the first flight going to Paris there was no Wi-Fi which sucked!"

Contras: "The plane was dirty, the window had a leak, the TV was too far away and the sound system to watch the movie was broken. When the plane is in that poor of a condition, it's time to replace it. F."

Prós: "Everything great. Rate food and entertainment moderate because there was no dinner, which we did not require, and we went to sleep so didn't pay attention to entertainment."

Prós: "The flight crew was professional, friendly and competent. They served the dinner as early in the flight as possible."
Contras: "This was a plane with central screens along the aisle, and the airline chose to broadcast a sci-fi action movie with almost constant flashing blue light, and violent action scenes. This was first of all a movie that many people, including me, would never choose to watch, but since it was on the aisle screens there was no getting away from it. It was also unsuitable for children, even without sound. But mainly, I object to the showing of any film in that situation - only aisle screens available, and on a night flight where most of the passengers are trying to sleep. I was awakened several times by the flashing lights. Other things: one of the bathrooms was not very clean, and the plane felt like the usual cattlecar, with just 3 seats on each side of the aisle, which is unusual and unpleasant for a transatlantic flight."

Contras: "Sits are very tight."

Prós: "Airline crew was good. Attendant was appreciative for my daughter translating for her. There were two passengers who did not speak English. One spoke french and the other Spanish. The food provided was tasty."
Contras: "Seats very uncomfortable, not enough leg room, too small ( I am a smaller person.). Did not like that could not reserve seats in advance without paying $50. Spent almost an hour with agent to get two bags checked for free. Iberia flight operated by American allowed two free bags. Agent took awhile to discover this was correct then she got locked out system. There was no regard that we had a flight to catch. No individual TV's."

Prós: "The flight departed on time, landed early, had plenty of entertainment, and the crew were pleasant."
Contras: "Check-in was problematic: the first agent claimed my luggage allowance was only one checked bag, even though the ticket said 2. Had to wait in a second line to fix it."

Prós: "The boarding was quick"
Contras: "I am surprised that an 8 hr international flight, had no WIfi.. I had to continually ask and check the time with Crew members. This needs to change when the average seat is $800-900 and the flight holds 35 seats. AA is raking in WAY to much money to be this cheap. No WiFi and having to look up to the middle isle to watch a child's movie on repeat " Guardians of the Galaxy." My neck and back were in extreme discomfort from the 8 hr flight back to NYC. If AA had headrest monitors and WiFi this could be avoided. Its 2017 stop being cheap!"

Contras: "FLIGHT DELAYED 3 hours, miserable uncomfortable plane- awful wines (grape juice) and not entertainment in flight-"

Prós: "Crew was nice"

Contras: "These 767's should be retired. I can get a better flying experience being jammed into a Jet Blue flight to Florida than this. And that costs 1/4 of the price."

Prós: "The plane and facilities were all very nice."
Contras: "Requested a raw vegetarian meal when prompted but message was not delivered to airline evidently. Flight attendant did not attempt to find alternate meal and implied we had not followed proper directions."

Contras: "I had my reservation cancelled despiste numerous phone calls. The flight was operated by AA, and they told me I wasn't on the flight, but after many phone calls LATAN assured me I was booked on the flight. When I got to the airport, I was not allowed to board my direct flight from GRU to LAX, instead I was sent to Miami then Charlestown , I took me an extra 12 hours to get home. I lost a day of work. Who's going to reimburse me for that ???"
