Prós: The flight was on time.
Contras: Making a connection in JFK was stressful. I am glad my layover was 3 hours; otherwise, I would have missed my flight. Many people on my flight missed their connection. It was disorganized. We received contradicting information as to whether or not we reclaim our baggage and recheck it in. The representatives were not friendly. They seemed stressed and with little patience. We had to purchase our own meal. Why?
Prós: Every thing.
Contras: All good
Prós: Booked week ago, expensive but seating was comfortable, crew first class, in economy.
Prós: The crew was wonderful and friendly.
Contras: The crew announced that there was limited food options on the flight (low supply). When a flight is 5 hours long, an adequate amount of food options should be available. Hand towels and toilet paper ran out during flight.
Prós: Everything that happened before the FIRST time we boarded the flight and when we finally landed in LA. The movie selection was pretty good since I couldn’t sleep on the flight and it calmed me down. The flight that was originally 7 hours turned into 5
Contras: What Irritated me the most about this whole experience was that they waited until everyone had boarded and seated to find a maintenance problem. Credit to them for finding it before takeoff but it should’ve been caught before the plane even left the hangar or when the plane last landed. They said this would be a 15-20 min fix. This was an 8pm flight. 800 became 830, then 9. By 9:00, same problem and I start to wonder if we should switch planes. By 10, they finally tell us that we have to deplane and go to Gate 37 which is on the other side of the terminal. On the way out the flight attendant tells us that we have to hurry up to the other gate because we have to be there by 10:25 to board. I almost wanted to punch him. So we’re there. 10:25 comes and I see the screen turn to 10:40. Around 11, the announcement comes that they’re transferring the food from the other plane to our new plane which further delayed everything. As some kind of compensation, theyleft buckets of snacks and drinks for us prior to boarding as we finally boarded. Finally took off at 12:30. I was so irritated I couldn’t rest on the flight.
