Contras: My previous flight was delayed at the start and further in flight so I missed my connection. LHR makes too much use of buses.
Prós: The flight was very good. Friendly crew, and barely half full so room to spread out. No good or entertainment (just a pond-hopper to Paris).
Contras: We sat waiting for takeoff for 45+ minutes. I slept for most of that, but woke up to us taxiing for takeoff (instead of landing as I had expected).
Prós: There were free snacks. Not much, but since free snacks are almost non-existent on flights in the US,, something is better than nothing.
Prós: Boarded quickly and on time
Contras: Baggage didn't make the connection. No free food or drinks
Prós: It was a short flight
Contras: There is a charge for beverage service.
Prós: If I can give this airline negative stars, I would.
Contras: Lack of communication. Lack of sympathy. Lack of knowledge. From the beginning, I wasn’t given the boarding pass to my connecting flight nor was I informed as to why. When I finally made it to my connecting flight with NO time to spare (very small window of approximately 45 minutes to make it to my connecting flight) my husband, my son and I were turned away from our flight due to over booking. The Eurowings manager guarantees we would be able to make another flight if we went to the ticket counter right away. At the ticket counter, (different airline) the ticket agent explained we’d have to transfer our booking over from Eurowings to the new airline. This left us NO time to make that flight the Eurowings manager guaranteed us we would make. We also waited 3 hours at the baggage claim office only for them to tell us they lost all our bags. Only 2 out of our 5 bags made it onto the flight and will be waiting at lost and found of our final destination and the other 3 bags are unknown of their whereabouts. The Eurowings ticket agent took ALL of our bags including my husbands and I carry ons, so we were left with no clothing and had to stay at the airport over night. This airline really sucks. We were never informed in advance of this over booking issue or I would have certainly made my own accommodations before hand. Will never fly Eurowings again. Definitely the worst airline I’ve traveled with. And I lost 5 bags in the process.
Prós: The aircraft is spacious and comfortable.
Contras: The crew was not exactly very friendly. The flight was turbulent (exaggeratedly).
Prós: I’ve flown with various airlines and must say that I was very impressed with this crew. I guess it was because they all were young and didn’t füdisplay burnout as so many other flight attendants show when dealing with their customers.
Contras: On both flights the control forty didn’t work.
Contras: Flight was cancelled; waited in the Rome airport for over 8 hours waiting for assistance and for a new flight for tomorrow and then another 2 hours we had to wait for a shuttle to take us to the hotel. By far worst airport/airline experience by far. Will never book with Austrian/Eurowings ever again.
Contras: Delayed, causing me to miss all other flights.
