I never see something like that before, I ask to her if everybody need to weight the carry on bag, She told me yes, but I stay on Checking places for a long time and I don't see anybody weight theirs carry on bags. Basically the company want to get my Money forced me to pay for extra weight."

Prós: "When attempting to make the connection flight in Columbia, I was informed that I was being placed on standby due to overbooking by the airline. I was traveling with my service dog also. What is exactly am I supposed to do in Bogota, Columbia for an unexpected additional 24 hours? I had no money, and my credit card wouldn't work there. This was the worst airline experience in my life. Absolutely horrible. I will never travel with Avianca again. Avianca staff spoke hardly any English, so I couldn't hardly communicate with them either. Horrible."

Contras: "My row of seats did not recline. Nowhere during the booking and seat selection process did it ever state this. All the other rows of seats reclined just fine, even the seats in front of us reclined which made it even more cramped for us when they did. I booked my tickets and selected my seats online way in advance and had I known that particular row could not recline I would have chosen another seat. I'm just not happy with how Copa did not communicate this during seat selection. For the record it was row 10."

I CANCELED THE TRIP WITH COPA AIRLINES ( WORSE COMPANY IN THE WORLD) AND THEY SAID THAT THE PROBLEM IS NOW WITH THE WEBSITE WE BOUGHT THE TICKET FROM. PRICELINE AND I'M GUESSING YOU. ANYWAY, I'M SURE YOUR COMPANY WILL ALSO NOT HELP SO WHY EVEN BOTHER. BUT IF YOU BELIEVE YOU CAN HELP ME GET MY MONEY BACK TO A TRIP THAT WAS NOT SAFE TO TAKE IN FIRST PLACE PLEASE LET ME KNOW."

The boarding pass for our connection from Rio to Miami was not given to us in Sao Paulo when we had to manually check in. As a result, we had to exit the secured area in Rio to go check in manually again for our connection and then go through security and customs again."

After the 3 hours passed they were only announcing in Portuguese to board the original plane. They never changed planes or provided a clear explanation to the passengers. Many of us refused to board. This was one of the worse experiences I have ever had. The staff was disrespectful and would not help us. We ended up taking another flight until the following night!!"
