Prós: "The crew was nice, the food was really good, the plane was clean, and they used reusable silverware and plates to avoid waste."

Contras: "The plane waited 40 minutes for delayed connecting flights to arrive. It's great for some passengers because they don't miss the transatlantic flight, but it causes others to miss their connections on the other end. It added to very stressful deplaning."

Prós: "I was gratified to see that the 777 Boeing aircraft have now replaced the older Airbus aircraft..... This is my sixth time traveling to Switzerland from San Francisco on Swiss....Their service in my opinion remains excellent......The cabin crew was cheerful friendly yet remained very efficient at the same time... The food was very good, , The two meals that comes with one's Ticket still also comes with complimentary beverage service .... and even a warm moist towel is offered towards the end of the flight ... not bad for a seat in coach ...."

Contras: "If I were a small person I would have been almost comfortable the seats were so narrow with no leg room so that trying to find a place for myself was laughable, unfortunately not the funny laughable. There is not a chance that I will ever again book an international flight on Swiss. I hope you share this with the airline."

Contras: "Upon boarding, the agents in the airport gave us a hard time over a bag that definitely met carry-on requirements. Almost made us check it, and then changed their mind last minute. Very unnecessary/dramatic situation, especially since we flew with that bag via carry-on multiple times (and on even smaller planes)."

Prós: "The boarding process was efficient. Swiss Air provides much more spacious and comfortable seating arrangements than many other airlines."
Contras: "My entertainment system would not turn off, which made it difficult for me to fall asleep. I asked a flight attendant for help and she said she would reset it. However, the reset did not work and she never came back to verify whether or not it had solved the situation. I finally gave up and put a blanket over the screen. Furthermore, the meal service was very slow. It seemed as if most of the staff was very young and likely inexperienced. Perhaps it would be better to mix younger, less experienced staff with more seasoned staff. I flew three other Swiss flights during my European vacation and the service was much faster. Incidentally, most of the staff on these other flights were older and probably more experienced."

Contras: "Wifi not working even if you purchase the full flight plan. Other passengers had the same problems. It took 30 minutes to send one email. Ground crew in Athens was terrible. Not cooperative at all, and almost risked missing my flight because of them."

Prós: "The leg space was great for economy class. There was room for bags in the overhead. The movie selection was great."
Contras: "Boarding via bus.... first bus had kids, business class, and people who needed help. Second bus had everyone else. Both waited on the tarmac for the plane to be ready and both busses opened the doors at the same time. The families were swamped while trying to load the plane with kids in tow."

Contras: "The cabin crew ignored my repeated calls for service. I willing gave up my seat so a couple could sit together with their kid and sat behind my wife and kids to be nice. They than reclined the seat back and my seat was broken do I asked them to put the seat forward and they ignored me. I informed the cabin crew that they weren't being considerate after all I gave up my seat to them. The cabin crew told me I could leave my 4 yest old and 3 year old alone and move to a new seat."

I waited through the boarding line only to be told to first verify my ticket. My bags were lost on the Madrid to frankfurt flight, the first part. Unacceptable, if the airline can not schedule flights at their own hub that guarantee swift transfer it us pathetic."

Contras: "flight crew hit my chair all the time with the troller. Bought the places with bigger space on the legs, that was true, but was dissapointed with the type of chair that is totally closed at the sides, with no scape room for the legs laterally."

Contras: "The flight was delayed by more than 1 hour due to computer problem. The leg room was smaller than other airlines I fly with in economy class. It made the second half the trip less comfortable."

Contras: "The seating was poor. The armrest did not go up even so I and another passenger tried hard. I then had to climb over it to be able to get to the washroom at 86 that was not the easiest and again it should not happen regardless. Otherwise I was treated well.I was a wheel chair passenger for medical reason. Thanks Helen"

Prós: "the magazine selection prior to flight, bottle of water in front of each seat and crew were great, the pilot's landing was amazing! The seat in front of me had weird legs that made the room under the seat smaller than other seats around me. So you couldn't fit in the carryon fully under it as you could under the seat diagonally from me, however, this ended up being a huge plus since I could use the legs of this chair in front of me as stepping places to place my feet during flight. Since airline does not provide foot rest, it was great to have this to elevate the feet for a long flight. More considerations should be give to provide footrest or at least these kind of foot elevations."
Contras: "The dinner and breakfast were a bit disappointing, but not bad and not a deal breaker at all since the rest of the flight was wonderful. I noted comfort as ok, but that's applies to all airlines - the seats in economy and no footrest is very uncomfortable, but that's on all economy flights, so no deduction of points there. I do want to note that I needed a boarding pass at the gate and stood in line for quite a while (I was first in line) before I was even acknowledged by a lady who ended up helping me eventually. But she was so cranky! (there were 2 ladies - one busy helping the crew and putting around barrier - she was fine, the other with a head covering (putting this hear just to distinguish the ladies as one was doing a great job)- not sure what she was doing, but she plainly ignored me standing at the desk in front of her, I didn't say anything, just patiently waited until she acknowledged me, and then she printed the boarding pass for me, but she was way to cranky to be in the job that she is in - no need for that kind of attitude."

Prós: "The plane stewardesses were actually really efficient (German style). Because of being on the waiting list to get on the plane I couldn't get a seat next to my partner so they did the biggest math exercise to put us together. Props to them"
Contras: "The flight overbooked (I still don't understand this concept, since is basically selling twice the same seat, right? Is that even legal?) Also the system was down, so no check-in online = the biggest line at the airport, it took me more than 1 hour to check-in and drop my luggage, all to get there and the ground force lady (the rudest person alive) tell me that I had no seat available, that she was going to put me on the waiting list... WHAT? I bought my ticket already, waiting list? Well, to say that I highly doubt that I'll book with Lufthansa again."

Contras: "Undisclosed charges for bags and a check on that lasted over 30 minutes and my entire family ogn6 people were scattered throughout plane with absolutely no effort to put young kids next to parents"

Contras: "After getting off the shuttle to board the plane via stairs, men at the bottom and top of the stairs both stopped everyone and refused anyone to board. We were stuck on the tarmac for around 2-3 minutes. No entertainment options during the flight. No free food. Only water."

Contras: "I've flown a lot of different business class flights in my time and these are the narrowest I've ever seen. I am not overweight but I felt very restricted in these seats. Add to the narrow seats is the design of the seat and armrests themselves and you don't have much space at all. No way I was going to be able to work on my laptop in this LATAM business class seat."

Electronic check in system was not working twice, perhaps due to international minors, had to wait in line in order to check in. The boarding pass for our connection from Rio to Miami was not given to us in Sao Paulo when we had to manually check in. As a result, we had to exit the secured area in Rio to go check in manually again for our connection and then go through security and customs again."

Contras: "Flight delayed well over an hour, Airport stuff unhelpful, Very below average."

Prós: "there was way too little leg room and the seats went back too far. I love LAN and LATAM because the crew and cudtomer service are always EXCELLENT."

Contras: "The flight at first had a 3 HOUR delay do to a "mechanical breakdown". We were told that they were going to bring another airplane from Rio de Janeiro. After the 3 hours passed they were only announcing in Portuguese to board the original plane. They never changed planes or provided a clear explanation to the passengers. Many of us refused to board. This was one of the worse experiences I have ever had. The staff was disrespectful and would not help us. We ended up taking another flight until the following night!!"

Contras: "Latam The website of Latam is useless. The services for people in broadcoast is so difficult that almost impossible (email, facebook, telephone, etc) In my case, i was in Africa and couldn´t change my ticket. My brother had to change it from Argentina."

Prós: "Staff was nice despite the situation."
Contras: "The flight was cancelled, we were reassigned to a Turkish Airlines flight that departed more than 6 hours later than our cancelled flight, we were given lunch but at a fast food restaurant even when we had to carry along all our luggage (super un-practical). And searching for info on twitter I found out this flight gets cancelled quite a lot."

Prós: "Nothing to write home about."
Contras: "Squished seats, mediocre food. Competitor deliver more for the same price or less."

Contras: "Was informed when we checked in that the flight we had purchased did not exists. We were informed thatcher would have to wait 24hours (after an already 7 hour layover) to catch another flight to Los Angeles. After debating with customer servinge several times and being forced to wait in line after being told things were fixed several time we had to threaten to record conversations and had someone call American Airlines headquarters and finally was able to get in the flight the same night. We at work be point were laughed at by an American Airlines customer service professional. I had purchased upgraded seats since I’m over 6 feet tall and they were not able to accommodate on the new flight, the flight was horrible and I had ton stand up every hour to make I the whole 12 hours."

Prós: "The only decent point was the food. Not great but at least edible."
Contras: "Since check in in São Paulo was a complete chaos. There were only 2 people helping on check in (in machines) and these people were still not helping people (like me) with questions about on how to do check in in those machines. On the other hand to dispatch the bags there were almost 8 attendants to receive the bags. Ridiculous! I’ve tried calling American Airlines and Latam several times to assign a seat for me and they swore there were only middle seats but I know how airlines work to make extra money on these seats. At the end, they only gave me a middle seat option and I had to take I.t of course. On the plane I realized there were dozens of empty seats and yet they made sure not give them to me or anyone else. Unbelievable! Unfortunately I still have to use AA on my way back to Brazil. After this, I’ll chose another airlines for sure. Also, the 3,4,3 arrangement is ridiculous: there’s no corridor space making people touching you everything someone passes by your seat. And boy! Those seats are so uncomfortable and there’s no way to incline the chair so you can even have a little rest (because it’s impossible to even sleep on those seats). The crew were simply doing their jobs! No pleasure! No smile! No engaging with anyone unfortunately! They looked miserable and I asked for water and the flight attendant NEVER brought me anything. Seriously! Water is free!"

Contras: "Film selection was subpar, and had no subtitles available. Flight safety information video so unbelievably boring. Flight crew repeated all instructions at least 3 times including video interruptions. What is the point of having in flight entertainment if crew will interrupt said entertainment at least once every 10 min to remind you you are still in turbulent air? Do they honestly think the passengers forgot? We are in the plane too! I understand they have to be careful due to liability but this airline is ridiculous. Believe it or not customers do not like being treated like children. Would not recommend to others or fly this airline again. Also, the lunch was awful even by airline standards. Btw the airline was avianca not AA. kayak must have messed up or they are owned by AA. AA is great and I recommend them wholeheartedly but Avianca is awful. Stay away if you can afford to do so."

Contras: "I believe the flight was delayed due to weather. This resulted In my seat being given away on my connecting flight."

Contras: "Flight was four hours late departing. Pretty much ruins the whole flight."

Contras: "I did not fly I lost my flight they had a problem with the airplane on my flight from brasilia to sao paulo so I arrived late lost the connection to my other flight from Sao Paulo to LAX. Also they lost my luggage. LATAM and American Air Lines doesnt know where my luggage is. I arrived at my LAX 12 hours after. They still dont know where my luggage is"

Contras: "I had my reservation cancelled despiste numerous phone calls. The flight was operated by AA, and they told me I wasn't on the flight, but after many phone calls LATAN assured me I was booked on the flight. When I got to the airport, I was not allowed to board my direct flight from GRU to LAX, instead I was sent to Miami then Charlestown , I took me an extra 12 hours to get home. I lost a day of work. Who's going to reimburse me for that ???"

Prós: "Efficient boarding, friendly and helpful staff especially flight attendant on EWN/CLT flight. She was great and extremely helpful."

Prós: "Seats were comfortable, the plane was clean, and all flights left and landed as scheduled. Actually, they landed and unloaded is early! Would recommend if you don't mind paying extra $25 to check a bag."
Contras: "That no checked bags are included in the flight costs. They didn't hide this or surprise me, but just a dislike."

Contras: "The crew definitely needs to be changed. There needs to be hostesses who are more attentive and actually care about their passengers."

Contras: "How does American think it can get away with a mediocre business class fitting and charge the same as Lufthansa and United? In this flight, the did recline 170º but formed a ramp that did slowly slide the passenger under the set in front of him. I'd recommend someone from AA should fly Lufthansa Business Class or Singapore Airlines Business to check out how it should be done! ANd then, flying a beaten up 777-200er while its competitors fly 787 is nonhing but a shame!"

Prós: "I like the entertainment."
Contras: "Food and distribution of the food. Unfortunately on my flight the flight attendant was so busy that forgot to come back for the water/coffee drinks."

Prós: "When we tried to check in there was not reservation because flight was with American not satam - luckily we figured it out"

Contras: "As with the initial leg of my trip to Kansas City, the scheduled departure was delayed without explanation. If there is a viable option for travel to a given destination, I will NOT choose American Airlines as it would likely be just as practical to go by covered wagon."

Contras: "In business class, was supposed to be herringbone arrangement which are large seats and comfortable. I am not sure if they switches planes since my reservation, but the seating arrangements were different. They shuffled everyone up and no one was sitting next to their spouses/family. Also, the seats are horrific to lay on, that its a joke. Just sitting reclined and almost upright was better than trying to recline them. I don't like complaining about creature comforts, but when you pay extra like this and you think your getting one thing a don't, they should at elast acknowledge it."

My wife phoned CA to book a gluten free meal the day before. The process was so complex she gave up. 9 hours no food. I was reminded again why I hate this airline"

Contras: "Boarding was confusing because there were few or no announcements of which zone was boarding, and it wasn't clear exactly which desk to proceed to for boarding"

Contras: "In a flight that is only 1:45, to have an incoming flight delayed by 1:45 for non-mechanical issues can create a lot of havoc. On the turnaround, we boarded and arrived very late. We missed our connection to Sydney and had to wait 24 hours for the next flight out."

Prós: "Meal vouchers, free hotel stay"
Contras: "Flight delayed - missed connection. Had to spend a night in Canada - it cut my vacation short in Paris by one day and had to re-organize my plans. Never again Air Canad - spoke with some apathetic ticker agents - did not care to listen. No options provided to us, Air canada made up their mind hours before we landed. Missed the connection flight by less than 30mins because of Air Canada shenanigans."

Contras: "Why does a vegan meal include butter and cheesecake? There was clearly a mistake but it seemed like the airline attendants were unfamiliar with what a vegan diet is. It really diminishes your confidence when they pass you another meal, you have no idea what ingredients are in it and simply have the trust the people that just passed you butter."

Prós: "Espaço para as pernas na classe econômica foi suficiente para mim, a tripulação foi cordial, o avião era novo à parte de entretenimento foi boa."
Contras: "Quando embarcamos, quase todos os espaços para as malas já estavam ocupados, o espaço lateral das poltronas era muito apertado, a reclinação era péssima, praticamente inexistente. Quando decolamos, começou a cair água na nossa cabeça. O funcionário responsável disse que era do ar condicionado e era normal. A comida era ruim, sem gosto e com acompanhamentos que não combinavam, por exemplo no meu caso era frango com uma salada de vagens e pepino. Fora o horário das refeições, quase não era oferecido bebidas em um voo de 10 horas."

Prós: "The in-flight entertainment system in the headrest was very robust. My children remained engaged for almost the entire 16hr flight...the flight attendants were not stingy with the food or drink and even allowed me to get a beverage in-between the services to take my medicine."
Contras: "The baggage pickup in Beijing took forever! Over an hour after arriving at the baggage carrosel! My car seats were in two different places (on the belt and in an oversize area). On a minor note, I was unable to get a stamp in my passport after using the automated machine...sad...I would have stood in the line to get the stamp if I was told ahead of time..."

Contras: "Very rude air crew who treats you as a bus passenger, does not completely listen to your requests, on business class. I also had my return connection flight cancelled and moved 6 hours ahead of the original one, which made me just wait that long at the airport."

Prós: "Overall I enjoyed the movies provided. In the three week span I had a lot of the movie choices overlapped. However, I found that there were many options provided that allowed me to find movies I had not seen yet even though they were not released within the past 3-5 years."
Contras: "I felt like I was constantly being bumped sitting in the aisle seat. I also was not a fan of the breakfast options."

Prós: "The staff was very professional and quite helpful. The flight was good. I would recommend it to everyone."

Contras: "Flight attendants were not polite or helpful, sometimes rude. Food service was minimal and passengers were left hungry and thirsty for many hours (6+)."

Prós: "the plane crew were pleasant and kept us posted as to what was happening and causing us to be even later to leave."
Contras: "The staff on the ground were disorganized, uninformed, frazzled, dismissive and boarded us 1 hour late with no updates on why we were not boarding on time. Our flight was just sitting there on the ground. when people asked they blew us off. we were also crowded into the last, very narrow, terminal area in the Toronto airport (F89-F99 area). Too many flights departing at the same time, created limited space to sit/stand. One passenger pasted out, and had a seizure upon hitting the floor face first, because of the stuffed space, and lack of air movement and available seats. They did have a fan in the area but it didnt do much to circulate air. Once we boarded an hour late, the ground crew were nowhere to be found. We waited 30min on the plane for crew to board our luggage. We were told they left the area to work somewhere else, and would be back soon. Ugh! I would not fly Air Canada again, esp through Toronto again."

Contras: "The flight was delayed. Air Canada didn't provide hotel accommodation for missing connection. Only reimburse C$100 for hotel stay. The cheapest hotel found near the airport cost C$185. Only gave us C$10 per person for meal. We'll never fly Air Canada again."

The seats had a decent size and good enough leg room. The flight was smooth, and we took off at a good time. The food was fairly good as well!"

Music doesn't take up a lot of data, and there are tons of independent artists who would be willing to put their music up for little to no royalty payment. This is an easy fix. 2/3 of my bags were left in Toronto."

Prós: "Seats were as comfortable as it could get for long haul economy flight. Food was decent everything was clean."

Prós: "Someone from the previous flight left a handle of whiskey and I kept it"
Contras: "The food besides noodles in a cup was not that good"
