Prós: "The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The plane itself was clean and there were plenty of bathrooms. It was great to have two free meals, drinks and entertainment making a 10 hour flight go by faster. I love the eye masks and ear plugs to make sleeping on a plane easier. All around success and would fly again with them!"
Contras: "On the flight home the crew seemed a little confused who was in charge of my row. I had to go get myself the customs forms and a pen. Also the front of the plan was extremely hot compared to the back."

Contras: "Emirates has applied EasyJet seat ramming techniques to its A380 business Class product. As a result even the spacious upper deck of an A380 feels cramped. The seat width in business Class is the same as economy so lying on your side to sleep is an impossibility for all but the diminutive or children. It’s hard to justify 4-5 times the economy fare to sit in such cramped ‘pile em high, sell em cheap’ seats. Breakfast served just before landing at LGW was honestly the most revolting meal I’ve ever been served onboard an aircraft, and I’ve flown Monarch. Less scrambled egg than puréed egg slops with gristly undercooked chicken sausages. Ryanair would blush at serving up such lousy fare. Emirates are paring back the ‘overheads’ in business Class and its starting to show. Cheapening the product (in every sense) might work for some but if I’m going to stump up thousands I think I’ll choose an airline that treats me less like self loading cargo in future."

Contras: "I was booked on flight QF 74 from San Francisco, connecting in Sydney (3 hour connection) to Queenstown, New Zealand. When I went to check in I was told that I needed a transit visa for Australia because of my Indian Passport. When I booked the flight back in September, it was not a requirement to have a transit Visa. I was told by the Qantas supervisor that this was a new requirement as of October for Indian and Chinese passport holders even with brief connections. 9 people were in a similar situation the day before and denied boarding. I understand that things change, but I am very disappointed in the service provided to me. Of course, they could not help me get an evisa for Australia, but they were not even willing to help me search for it rebook a Qantas flight connecting in a different city/country. They did not even connect me with online reservations directly to quickly do something to be able to continue on my journey. They only gave me a phone number to call and sent me away. I tried the number and was on hold for almost an hour. Luckily, my friends were on a different flight on Air New Zealand that had seats leaving in 2 hours, and I almost missed that waiting to talk to someone from Qantas. I booked a ticket with Air New Zealand (by talking to their checkin agent, who was able to connect me directly with a reservations agent via a direct line, which was something I was hoping Qantas would help me with at a bare minimum) and I was able to purchase a ticket for that Air NZ flight and continue on. I’m VERY disappointed in the way that I was treated and not provided with assistance in a timely manner. I would have almost missed that flight and have to miss out on pre-arranged travel plans losing out on an additional $2000 in tour / accommodation bookings."

Contras: "I was stopped at gate check in and taken to one side as the passport control had reported me for being intoxicated. I was injured in the armed forces and have a bit of a balance problem as lost most my hearing. I think drink alcohol any more. I asked for an aisle seat as I'm a big guy but was put on seat E next to a huge fat guy so was unable to sit properly. I couldn't get out of the seat once as he just slept and must of drempt as kept jumping and banging me. I had 1 meal on the over 13hr flight, which I couldn't eat properly as was unable to use the knife & fork due to the huge obese guy next to me. I asked the stewardess to wake me at all meal times. Which she didn't. So missed all the meals and tea/coffee. I was looking forward to the put a too. The London to Singapore flight was a total let down and I expected so much more from Quantus as they have always been top standard before. Overall disgusted in the service."

Prós: "It was my first A380 flight, and overall I was disappointed relative to the Dreamliner. Yet it stands out as a positive the way that Qantas has configured business class on the upper deck. It's quite peaceful. The staff was pleasant, but could have been more attentive. It felt like some cared and others did not."
Contras: "I have flown millions of miles with Qantas, but it's been more than 10 years since my last flights. My expectations were high and i the end I only felt "OK" about the experience. The seats are not competitive with other business classes in the sky. I realize that is about to change. I flew Air Canada into Australia, and while my seat was unfortunately broken, the capabilities and overall comfort of their seats is far superior to Qantas. The business class lounge in Sydney had very poor food options in my opinion, and I was quite peckish after having skipped lunch to travel to the airport for a 4pm flight. The food options on the flight were much better, though overall options / taste were just OK."

There was the changing of shifts for ground & cleaning etc. No ticket booths. Put passport in kiosk,it said basically no. Finally a ticket agent showed up. She tried my passport ,and nothing. Checked threw the computer & it said leaving out of domestic. Go down to the end of the hall, can check in there. It's Qantas alright, not open till 7:00. Start to panic a bit. Stopped someone and asked. They told me I was at the wrong terminal! Get to other, check in. Ask if I have to collect luggage and customs at LAX. No goes right threw. Wrong. Waited for cases at LAX. Have to collect & go threw customs. No cases, lost in Melbourne. Then I was ignored."

Prós: "Very professional, nice crew, smooth flight. Loved the tail outside camera. Had fun watching that. Very enjoyable for such a long flight."
Contras: "Wasn’t thrilled that only salmon salad was left as a choice for dinner. Hubby can’t do salad, and I can’t do fish. Crew brought us some snacks."

Curiosamente, pelo menos outros 3 voos longos ada qantas saindo de sydney eEu vou passar natal em poa entao tou de boas estavam atrasados no mesmo dia... parece que a cia esta com problemas cronicos de organização. Alem disso, a bordo, conectores de audio do sistema de entreterimento estavam com mau contato..... o sistema eh bom mas nao pode ser utEu vou passar natal em poa entao tou de boas utilizado! Demonstra falta de manutencao na aeronave e falta de preocupacao com o conforto dos clientes com estes pontos contra, sugiro buscar alternativas nas viagens a australia (air new zeland por exemplo)."
