Prós: "It is so far a cut above the American carriers. There’s no way to compare them, because Qatar Airways is so far superior. The seats are far more comfortable and larger, the amount of legroom is far superior, you have much more personal space, and the craft is cleaner. Flight Attendants are fantastic! They provide excellent personal care, and are there for everything. They are supremely polite and courteous, and bring things in mediately. Very often anticipating your needs. This is what flying used to be like on United and American. But those people have completely forgotten what service is. Qatar is a 5 star airline. United and American, to my view, are 2 star at best."

Contras: "When flying from New Zealand to Doha, we departed Auckland at 15h25 and due to the time zone, most passengers body clocks would have been expecting sleep within a few hours. However we were flying West and thus into daylight. Sadly the window seated passengers were not asked to close their window blinds to block out the sunlight and many were left open. This made the cabin very bright and a difficult environment in which to sleep. Too much advertising before the on board videos, but otherwise content was good."
Contras: "I used Qatar airways 3 times so far. In the last flight, were a connection has 8 hours between 2 flights, they deny me to stay in a hotel. The last 2 flights which have exactly the same schedule, I used the hotel in that 8 hours between the 2 flights. I asked why, they told me that my ticket is not eligible to the hotel, although, I bought the last two times from Kayak, with almost same price. My first flight with Qatar Airways was on July 2017. My second flight with Qatar Airways was on August 2017. My third flight with Qatar Airways was on Jan 208."

Prós: "My husband and I recently traveled from New York to Bali Indonesia for our honeymoon. We were upgraded to Business for all four of our flight segments. The flight attendants were incredibly friendly and courteous and were actually surprised when we only ordered one drink and one meal at a time! The food was phenomenal, especially for an aircraft meal, and no matter what I was in the mood for, they had it."
Contras: "Boarding in New York was not organized. Those traveling with small children or needing assistance were not boarded first, nor were Business and Economy boarding from separate jetways."

Unfortunately the luggages didn't reach to Cairo airport with me . 3 days later they told me that the luggages in Jordan and I have to travel from Alexandria city to Cairo to receive my luggages . When I went their , I found my luggages were opened and missing much items . I made reports on the airport. The employees in the airport they wondered why the opened the selling box , and the box looks empty. The weight for this box was 32 kilograms in the time of shipping. And I paid $400 for extra weight . But when I received it was like 20 kilograms. Plus I paid $350 for Qater airline for shipping 3 luggage . That's means I paid $750 for shipping 3 luggages and I received it looks empty . I need refund for all shipping and $5000 for damages items , or I will complain this airlines through the American court . Thank you"

Prós: "Qatar is quite possibly the best airline in the world, especially on its long haul flights. It is heads above the other two major Persian Gulf airlines. All the employees with whom I dealt were excellent and customer-oriented. The planes between Doha and London were new, had more space than older planes and had an excellent selection of movies and TV shows. I ordered special meals on all the flights, and I was very satisfied. I have been a fan of Qatar Airways since I flew it to Australia in 2011. It continues to do a superb job, even in Economy."

Contras: "- Tiny, cramped seats and aisles. I'd heard the Quatar has more leg room than other airlines. This is definitely not true. If the person in front of me reclined all the way, they crushed my knees and I'm only 5'7". - Seat cushions are thin and hard. - baggage check in took a very long time; about 45-60"

Contras: "Kayak/priceline re-booked my flight for my sister and I from SAA to BA, but failed to completely reissue us tickets. When we checked in for the flight, we had no ticket for the first leg of the flight, but we had tickets for the remaining flights. We immediately called to fix this problem, but due to slow customer service, we weren't issued tickets in time and the flight left without us. We missed all remaining connecting flights and were forced to buy New tickets. Now we have to work with kayak/priceline to get all my money back due to their error. We came back a day later than expected and missed going back to work."

Contras: "In the past on overnight flights Emirates I have received a pyjama set in the Business Class, which made it very comfortable to sleep. But this time this was not given, so I had to sleep in my day-wear, which was a bit uncomformtable."

Tried to charge 600 for the same flight the next day. The people were rude an impolite at Dubai. It’s very expensive airport. Do Not Fly with United emerites at all. Terrible just terrible"

Prós: "The departure and return flight time, for the price I paid, I felt like I was in more than an economy flight. The meal, the baggage quota, the entertainment. The time flew because by the time the movie had finished, we were starting to descend. I will always look for this flight with Emirates. There is no other flight in comparison, in what you get for your Buck. I believe that other Airlines, ie., Qantas, Virgin Aust, both give you a flight and service, for nearly the same fare but you only get 7kg luggage, no meal just the basic entitlement, tea/coffe/water with a biscuit or something like that and NO ENTERTAINMENT, NO COMPARISON!!!!"
Contras: "Before I start my complaint I would like to say that my family and I had 6 emirates flights this year and 5 of those flights were very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our traveling with emirates but this 1 flight came out to be the worst flight of my life. I made online check-in and chose our seats and all was successful but when we reached the airport and I opened my app, it displayed that online boarding pass was not available. After moving slowly in a long queue, when I reached near boarding counters, an official checked my name in a list and informed that there was some new tax applied on us and thus I had to visit counter 5 or 6 to pay that tax. We joined the queue of counter 5 but it was not moving at all and I noticed some people being served at counter 5 who were not in the queue, thinking that counter 5 might take longer, I joined counter 6 queue where there were only 1 family and 1 passenger ahead of me, for next half hour we stood there but that queue didn't move. Finally after some time another counter called me, he confirmed that I had made online check-in. We were given boarding passes and were asked to wait for tax processing, After another 15min, we were given all papers and were requested to move to the immigration counter. After immigration when we were going through final security check, the emirates official asked me to hurry up, I showed him that the security process was going on in front of him, upon that he asked why I was late to airport, I informed him that I made online check-in and I was required to be there 90min before the flight but I was there 150min before the flight and it was in front of him how long the tax processing took, upon that he said that I should have been at the boarding counter 240min before the flight and that I should be aware of the facilities at the airport (although it was my 1st time there). I had not made any complaint on what had happened so far to anyone and I was not rude to anyone although I was with my wife and 1.5 years old son who was crying coz of warn weather and thirst, we couldn't provide him with water coz we were standing in queues all the time. But hearing such comments from Emirates official were quite unbearable but still I stayed calm and reached at the gate. When I handed over the boarding passes, I was told that my boarding pass was missing and I was quickly blamed by emirates officials that either I reached there without a boarding pass or I had lost it. When they checked in their system it showed that I was already boarded, I understood that they gave my boarding pass to someone else but they kept on saying that I had lost it and also informed the same to plane crew, then they made a manual boarding pass for me and let me pass the gate. We were the last passengers to enter the plane. When I reached at my seat, there was someone else sitting there, upon taking attendant's help, it was discovered that the passenger sitting there had my boarding pass."

Prós: "The Rio de Janeiro international airport is very difficult to traverse. However, the airport staff was very helpful in directing me several times to the correct location."
Contras: "United needs a check-in kiosk located between the domestic arrivals section and the international connection hallway just before security. I had to walk to the complete length of the airport and back again, just to check-in. Other airlines, such as Delta, have a kiosk located just before the security entrance. The cabin temperature was absolutely freezing during the flight, and I am usually hot."
Contras: "One of the csbin crew was very angry, rude snd confrontationsl to the wheelchsir assistsnt. He challenged her sbout not picking up my carryon from the foor where he put on the floor. She commented she did not like to work for Uunitd because they were demsnding and demesning. This united rmployee csme back 4 times as we werr behind each other when we deplaned. Twice he szid,"L'm dorry but....." finslly he adked fpr her nsme. Tsking out hid isdues on another employee was unvslled for and unprofessional."
Contras: "The flight was delayed then to top it off we sat on the tarmac awaiting to off load in DesMoines. We spent just as much time waiting to off load as we did in flight!"

Contras: "Check in clerk was mean nasty and said several times we could not fly because we didn’t have our tickets rather then helping us use the airport printer to print our tickets she said you can’t print you ticket until you show me your ticket. She should be fired it was united airlines won’t fly them again"
Contras: "Airplane was super cold. No extra blankets. Passengers freezing. Impossible to sleep."
Contras: "The itinerary printed out that I was traveling Lufthansa so my nephew left me off at Terminal B; but after trying to print out my boarding pass unsuccessfully, the supervisor said that I was booked on United which is at Term C. I had to rush on the air train to the crowded Airtrain & running thru Security & Customs."

Contras: "The flight was incredibly hot the whole way. Which the flight was 5 hours long. The crew was a little rude, not to me in particular but to others. They didn’t have a good attitude. Sat at the gate for an hour waiting for other planes to come in so that other people wouldn’t miss the flight. But an hour??? Really!! People were getting mad and hot and sweaty. Food wasn’t cooked all the way when it got to a passenger. It was still cold. It was the worst flight I’ve been on. I would rather ride in a jump seat on a C-130 with military!"

Contras: "Food was tasty, but strange smell was contaminated. Announce was so fast and unclear both English and Japanese. I felt no intention to communicate."

Prós: "The crew was excellent - courteous/aware/friendly. The flight, although 2 hours delayed (9;20pm scheduled departure) was pleasant and smooth. Also, the de-boarding process was surprisingly quick."
Contras: "A 2 hour delay at 9:20pm at night is unfortunate yet frustrating experience, especially when we moved our flight up due to a travel warning for EWR (ironically enough, our originally scheduled flight (1922 MCO-EWR). I'm giving an overall OK (instead of good) due to the fact that there were no snacks (although I did not want anything, it didn't go unnoticed) and although there was free inflight entertainment for personal devices, I feel the passengers should have been given free internet access - in my opinion, it would have been the appropriate thing to do. In any case, this experience doesn't change my positive opinion of United."
Contras: "I missed my flight due to a nonsense delay from Charlotte. Arrived at the gate 1 minute after scheduled take off and the plane was gone. Not even an attempt to waiting as I ran, 5 months pregnant, through the airport. I was rebooked to arrive in Las Vegas at midnight. 12 hours after the original time. I bought a flight from Southwest. I will never fly united again"
Prós: "Bad weather and a bumping up and down and side to side, wild ride. The flight was delayed because of a broken arm rest on a seat. This delayed the flight and allowed a front to move in, which we flew through."
Contras: "The 45 minute delay to remove a arm rest on a seat."
Contras: "Staff was rude and not helpful at all. Delayed over 3 hours waiting on crew coming in on another plane. Short staffed."

Contras: "Typical of most U.S. carriers, some of the flight attendant staff was unpleasant and grumpy. One particular male flight attendant could use a lesson in how to be pleasant from the non-domestic carriers or look for another line of work."

Contras: "Your email stated that my departure gate for my connection was B87. It was actually B80. There were no message boards in that area of airport (commuter planes). I missed my flight because of it. Luckily there was a van shuttle that I was able to catch but the ride was 4 hours in the night and cost an additional 80.00. I would like Kayak to reimburse me the 80.00 I had to pay extra. Thank you"
