Contras: "I never got the opportunity to fly because I was stuck in unusual traffic in a tunnel for over an hour just minutes from the Boston airport. I was later told there was a fire. I called the 1-800-JETBLUE number and I explained that the situation. The agent said that there would be a $75 change fee and at 4:47 pm there were no more flights out that night and that I would also be charged the fare differential the following day. I quickly went on line and found a deep discounted fare on United for $56! When I got to the airport there were several other people with the same situation. Not a enough agents on staff and no concern that I might miss my new flight on United. Thank Gid I acted fast and got another flight that evening or I would have needed to spend the night in the airport like a woman and her mother traveling to San Jose! Need more professionalism !"

Prós: "I didn't like much of anything EXCEPT THE FREE WIFI. While it's nice to have all the bells and whistles (free in flight TV/movies, snacks/beverages, etc.), the basics need to be met too - which they weren't."
Contras: "I didn't like that the plane was delayed 1.5 hours for no good reason. Why have us sit on the plane in a cramped atmosphere instead of delaying it at the gate first until your ducks are in a row? Then the in-flight entertainment audio periodically cuts out, and they were resetting the TV system over 3 times. In addition, I had requested a price reduction when I booked the flight since JetBlue's website is buggy and the price went up $80 in front of my eyes while other people booked the seat I wanted, and they weren't willing to give me anything."
Prós: "The dunkin donuts coffee in a nice touch"
Contras: "Only one staff member was available at the boarding gate for most of the time prior to boarding. This was insufficient to handle the needs or passengers with questions, needing seat assignments, and so on. She did the best she could be it was not as organized as it could have been."

Contras: "My husband & I were in Row 5 & in last boarding group. When we got to our seats, all of the overhead bins were filled all the way back to Row 8. So, we put our suitcases up there. When we landed, we had to wait for everyone to get off the plane to be able to go back to those bins. And someone had already exited the plane with my husband’s suitcase. Their suitcase was left. We spent an hour with Suitcase Services, but could not find out who took my husband’s suitcase. (No ID inside theirs) I recommend that you board lower numbered rows first so that people in the back rows don’t take the front bins!"

The flight was suppose to leave 9:00pm.. we didn't leave til 9:40.. The safety announcement was awful. We cudnt hear most of it.. The turbulence was scary and the noise made me put on headphones to sleep. Once it landed in Orlando the airplane traveled around the entire airport .. It took forever to get off the plane but I was so happy to get off"

Prós: "When I sat into my comfortable seat with its amazing leg room, I asked the woman next to me if she had flown Jet Blue previously. She replied that it is now her favorite airline. At the end of the trip I agreed that it is a distinctly different and great airline. My complaint is that I have to travel from NE Wisconsin to Chicago in order to use Jet Blue. When are you coming to MKE? The way the food and drink orders were handled worked well, and the selections were amazing! Needless to say, the media offered was wonderful."

Contras: "My son (unaccompanied minor), had his flight departure delayed almost 4 hours. I watched the plane leave and called my mom to pick him up at 6pm, the scheduled time. She calls me panicking that the arrival time is now 8:15 and no one will tell her why there is a delay. I had to call JetBlue only to tell me "sorry, they have the wrong arrival time, he's almost there". Really?? Luckily she was planning based on my information, not theirs. If she had been 2hrs late picking him up, this would have been BAD."

Contras: "The long delays! The kicker was when we waited 2.5 hours for technicians to repair broken in-flight restrooms. Flights that were supposed to be completed in five hours were finished in 10. Noone's fault, but I did not enjoy that part."
Prós: "The flight attendants were so nice, and although our flight was delayed and hour and fifteen minutes and our layover was an hour and fifteen minutes, we were able to make our connection! Since our connection to Portland in Denver was the last flight of the night, they were able to hold it for us. This was wonderful because there weren’t many flights out that weren’t booked solid for the next day. The attendants on this flight were great about updating us with information for the connections and telling us when we would land in Denver."

Contras: "In general, United team on the bag drop (from Atlanta too) are rude, as well as the officers of the security scan team are rough. They have no courtesy. They should understand that passengers are paying for the service and 99% are not “bad guys.” So, politeness and respect are the minimum things they deserve. Additionally, the Atlanta airport checking area and boarding check are not organized. They need to improve signal support for all customer."

Contras: "Ticket agent said I could take my bag on the plane. Gate agent told me my bag not I were going on the plane unless I paid $50 to put the bag below if I wanted to get in the plane. Very matter of fact & rude. I was just about the last person they let board so there really wasn't a chance to discuss with them. No WiFi on a cross country plane, lame. No access to the headrest video screen w/o paying for it, lame. Snotty unconcerned flight attendants as well. Overall one of the worst flights I've had in memory. I would pay more next time to fly another airline."
Flight was remarked 4 times on day of departure. No water on flight, automatic doors damaged. Terrible!!! My flight supposed leave 7:30pm and leave 10:30pm ridiculous
Contras: "Did not fly the had to change the flight frontier website does not work with safari. I change the flight an hour after I mad the flight and they said because I did not use google chrome that the change were not made they waned me to pay 402 to change a flight that I booked for 194. I could have bought two more tickets for 284. The told them that is what I need to do. By the revues I saw on line the did the same thing to at least 10 other people. Frontier said that a customer only has 4 hour to make a change to a flight. I talk to sever travel agents and was told we have 24 hours."

Who is flying the plane!!! I will not be flying this airline again! Who is in control of the safety of these passengers? No staff on that plane even looked up! Most view I saw was the back side of the agents heads. Let's not add the fact of carry on costs of $45 each way AND you have to pay for everything you eat or drink on these flights! Literally the saying goes "it costs peanuts" I mean a few peanuts! For crying out loud you have to pay for peanuts! In my humble option a few very low cost items could improve this airline... they should make those changes effective immediately if they want to see higher reviews."

Contras: "Our flight was delayed 2 hours leaving San Francisco going to Orlando. My mother checked a bag which cost $35. The ticketing agent picked up her bag and slammed it down on the conveyor belt. I was so shocked at the rough handling of my mothers belongings and the fact that the agent didn't give a care. My sister and I were charged $45 each for our carry-on bags. They began boarding us but the flight crew made us wait on the walkway to the plane for 15 minutes before they let us on the plane. The flight crew was rude and disorganized. The seats did not recline, next no padding and the chair back in front had no padding at all. There were no complimentary drinks or food provided on the 5 hr flight. We were threatened by the passenger behind us twice but no assistance was given by the flight crew. We are extremely disappointed and will never fly Frontier again. We should have paid the extra money to fly Delta from TPA which would have taken 2 hours off of our drive time. We visited Frontier's website which provides nothing but excuses for why they charge extra for EVERYTHING. Overall Frontier may have some of the cheaper flights but after you're done paying for the extras you may as well fly with a carrier that provides more comfort and better service. Frontier has lost our business."

Contras: "Hidden charge to get a seat, no joke, $16 for the seat plus your ticket price. Flight delayed for 2.5 hours for landing gear issue. No complimenty drinks. Seats super cramped, flat and uncomfortable- like painful. To top it off. It was full of scum bag people"
Prós: "The flight crew was very friendly. I feel like they put a lot of focus on ensuring they're friendly, responsive and have a nice sense of humor to make up for their airlines terrible timing and equipment."
Contras: "This was my return flight on Frontier and although not as bad as my first still pretty horrible. Upon arriving at the COS airport we were greeted by...no one at check in. We were told they were on "lunch" and we couldn't drop our bags until they finished. There was at least 15 people waiting on Frontier reps to show up and check us in. After that time suck flight was delayed again. Plane was filthy. After looking over the total for the flight it really doesn't save you any money after all the extra fees and poor service. I'll pay more to fly on an airline that shows up."
Contras: "Showed up to the airport in New Orleans to find out my flight was canceled, but had to be told by people from another airline because the Frontier desk was vacant. Received no email, phone call, text or anything to tell me the flight was canceled. Not even one Frontier employee was at the airport to explain the situation. They just left a stack of papers to say the flight was canceled and they weren't offering anymore flights that day. Had to book one on another airline for the next day, so called Frontier to get reimbursed (they said very clearly on the paper that they would reimburse up to $400 in another airline) and spent over two hours on the phone getting passed around from person to person who said they couldn't help me. Still no idea if I'll be getting reimbursed. DO NOT FLY THIS AIRLINE."
Prós: "Boarding was pretty smooth."
Contras: "Kayak should inform buyers that there are extra charges for unexpected things like choosing your seat, carry on bags, checked bags, all food, all drinks (no nuts, pretzels or coffee)"
Prós: "Arrived at airport at 940 pm which was great because we were early but didn't get off the plane until almost 12am due to an airplane being worked on at our parking gate and also had to wait for local sheriffs office to board the plane to escort a lady off the plane when we finally did park and during that time the flight attendants were yelling at the paying customers because they had their phones out. One flight attendant even smacked a phone out of someone's hands! Will take a miracle to get me and my family to ever fly frontier again. Worse flight experience ever."
Contras: "No info given on ground for delayed Flt. Said "on time" departure and it was already past departure time and hadn't boarded yet. Waited 45 minutes at gate, no announcement. Preceded to runway, de-iced, no announcement. ( my seat mate , southerner hadn't known what was happening). Servive and attitude was definitely a 1 and pilots were first off plane. This was on top of our Orlando to Denver flight that was delayed 8 hours with no weather related cause. We had to rebook on another airline. Frontier said, every flight is only a 50% chance of on time departure!!!! Way too much for 79 year olds. We are an airline family so recognize the "care less" attitude. Never Frontier again."
Prós: "They don't offer food, and you have to pay for seating, baggage, and everything else which makes the fare the same as any othet. At least with other airlines you still get tv or music."
Contras: "Couldnt even get to fly, i was in line for 4 hours on the special services line"
Contras: "First time flying with frontier, and last time flying with frontier. For some unexpected reason my flight was cancelled to Florida, needless to say it has the best weather in the country right now. I was on hold for 2 hours trying to get through to a customer service representative and no one answered. I did not get a comped hotel night and not even a meal! Worst airline I've had to deal with when it comes to customer service, will not be flying frontier again."

Contras: "Thirty minutes trying to book my suitcases online only to have online trying to double the cost of my ticket to book tickets that were marked $0. To change that I had to start all over. So annoying to try to get justice and end up paying $30 extra in baggage fees. All the while they continually said how easy it was to book suitcasrs"
Prós: "Maybe just the price but it makes sense why it was so cheap."
Contras: "I was checking in on my app while I was on my way to airport. Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes before departure time. The app didn't work and keeps on telling me the app has error. I restarted phone and everything. I had to check in at airport with no bags. When I arrived, there WAS NO ONE at check in desk. I was standing at empty security checkpoint and I could see my gate. The frontier employees were at gate early and never came to assist me. I waited for an hour until my flight left. You can imagine how furious I was- ridiculous for me to have this kind of experience. Thankfully united airlines got me on plane. Never flying frontier again."
Prós: "I didn't die."
Contras: "Once you add in the luggage costs it's the same price as any other carrier but without being able to lean your seats back. Lesson learned."

Prós: "I liked that it was on time and it was a short flight to Orlando from ATL. Any longer and I may have considered jumping out the plane."
Contras: "I didn't know that they were going to charge me $30 each way for CARRY-ON!!! They wanted extra money just to put your party together. I was flying by myself so I didn't care, but they wanted 25/seat to sit in the middle of the plane per person. I have a family of 7 (5 kids 8 and under) and had we been flying together that would have been a surprise round trip expense of $250 for seats and probably $400-500 in baggage. I would have been very upset. You pay for soft/juice drinks and small snacks. The 'free' water I asked for/received didn't have ice. I assume that was extra, but I wouldn't know b/c the lady who gave it to me was off before I could even ask. I was starting to think they were going to make me pay for a seat belt. I have recently booked another flight to Arizona on frontier before I left on this one and I am already dreading that flight. I will not be going on Frontier again nor recommend it to anyone else."
Prós: "The fact that I got there safely. The seats, the screaming kids, and the especially the kid that the parent did not have in control and was running down the isle when we were in landing position, the captain sitting in front of my other half looked at him and told him to go sit down, my colleague say next to them the parent did not have him buckled up because he said he did not like it! Needless to say my friend was all flipped out after we landed! We had to calm him down! Oh well."
Contras: "The fact that you pay for a ticket then you have to pay for a seat then you have to pay for a checked bag, then you have to pay for a carry on if you wanted to bring one, then you have to pay $2 for a soda which I do not drink anyway, pretty soon you'll have to pay to get a cup of water. Im glad I can bring my own water on the plane. And my own food. 2 Hours the desk opens before a flight? the line was crazy. I will never fly Frontier again. many people I spoke to said the same thing, they wont either. I will fly southwest even if its more expensive because by the time you spend for all these others items your over what you would have spent with Southwest. Thank you."
Prós: "I liked the one crew member who greeted me as I steeped on the plane. She was very warm. She was African American and blond hair. Very sweet."
Contras: "The rest of the crew seemed bitter and grumpy. From the person announcing that it was time to board, to the person taking drink orders. Especially the person taking drink orders. She was pissy when I asked for gin, because she had to go look for it. She was agrivated when I asked if I had to buy the mixer separate, as it was my very first time on frontier. They didn't have gin though it was on the menu, as expensive as the alcohol was that I did buy, the mixer should have come with it. The fact that one has to pay for a carry on is ridiculous! On to of it all the flour was late boarding. I was not impressed with frontier. Prós: "Frontier encourages you to check your bag by offering a lower fee for checking than carrying the bag onto the plane This made getting into and out of the plane so much quicker The seats were comfortable enough and I had my own food and beverages so did not need to purchase any."
Contras: "My reasonable priced ticket went up $104 by the time I paid to check my bag and pick a seat. I would rather gate check my bag and get it when I exit the plane because it took over an hour for it to come to baggage claim."
Prós: "It was sorta cheap, not frills. After the delay we did make up some time, but.... nothing too amazing overall."
Contras: "Paying for Cary-on bag was super expensive ($40 bought with the ticket, it's even more expensive at the airport) and sort of offset the benefit of a cheap flight. There was no food or entertainment, and the flight was delayed by an hour because we had to wait for another Frontier flight ---- so that says something. Seats were super uncomfortable and the tray tables are stupidly small, maybe could hold a sandwich and nothing else. No other amenities at all. I'd rather pay $40 more for the flight, get some snacks and comfy seat and a free carry-on. Won't fly Frontier again unless I have to."
Contras: "The fact that it was sappoesed to be canceled and rescheduled and it was NOT. BOTCHED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Contras: "The flight attendants were bored and unhelpful, the plane was cramped and hot. This is a low value airline that nickels and dimes its passengers."
Prós: "...the ticket agent who got me checked and put me through priority TSA so I could make my flight!"
Contras: "The assistance of a front counter agent was horrible and made inappropriate comments to me due to me being late to my flight which was due to a faulty shuttle and short staffed rental service as if I was aware of airline policy! Even though I wanted to avoid all of lines to check in (only carry on bag) but all kiosk where out of service which why the lines where so long...the snide remarks and rude comments were not appreciated especially in front of other patrons, thank God another agent to assist me after the line agent moved me another customer up due to our flights."
Prós: "Low fare"
Contras: "High baggage costs for checked AND CARRY-ON bags, add on fees for everything, seats don't recline. I'll use a full service airline next trip. I will say the aircraft were new and clean and, they were very accommodating about a legal handgun in my checked baggage."
Prós: "Hummm, landed safely! I do like that "carry on" people have to pay extra."
Contras: "No reclining seats even after paying an extra $50 for the good seats (and to ensure sitting by spouse). Cannot even get a glass of water without an extra charge."

Contras: "Since when did one have to PAY for a very light refreshment on a plane?! We had been in the airport with no food/beverage available because of the time and then not to be compensated even a little bit with a snack of any sort was just more than I could stand. My kids were hungry and thirsty and I was not going to use a credit card for cheese curls and a bottle of water. The interest alone would have been about the same as my mortgage payment! The seats on the plane do not lean back and there is hardly any cushion on them. It was uncomfortable and will make me rethink using Frontier airlines again."
Prós: "Ground crew missed rehearsal dinner to stay with us 6hrs"
Contras: "No heads up. Checked in 1.45hrs early & they new we were delayed but didn't say anything. Left 6 hrs late. Arrive at Disney with a 5 yr old at 1:00 am instead of 7:00 pm. If you would have been honest and proactive with Indianapolis we would have been fine. Better off to tweet your problem. Call=hold. Locals=in the dark. $15 food credit each is a good start. $100 each emailed so quickly is impressive but it's a credit to a bare bones airline that charges you for a water after their 6 hrs issue. Could have made snacks and non alc drinks free. NO NO NO. We had to pay another $11 for water, apple juice, food and GL of wine. SERIOUSLY. WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT??? Missed several opportunities for "Little things that count". Give all $300 to one of us for a free ticket-we won't be flying with our grandson again. I will give you a chance to fix that. Not a threat a promise."
Prós: "It was easy boarding, clean and a smooth trip. We landed 1/2hr early only to wait in baggage claim for over an hour!"
Contras: "The plane was disgustingly dirty, my tray table was sticky and had leftover crumbs on it... The floor where I was supposed to store my carry on had crumbs of some sort smushed into the carpet. It was all around disgusting"

Contras: "Charged for every thing seats, luggage, . Took over an hour for luggage. They waited for the next Frontier flight about half an hour then brought lugage from both flights at the same time. Not enough to get me back to Frontier!"
Prós: "New planes. Nice staff."
Contras: "Poor snack selection. I am okay with paying for coffee and snacks, but no cream for the coffee? Really? And the trail mix had no nuts in it even though it was from the Colorado Nut Company. It was just a spicy chex mix. Bring your own snacks. None of that was particularly irksome but we had to wait an 1 and 40 minutes for our luggage. The two flights after us had their luggage come in. The baggage claim desk had nothing to do. The two ladies were just sitting in their office chatting. Didn't make an announcement, didn't look into it. Just let us sit out there at 10:30 at night. I finally went in to talk to them and they got on the phone and the luggage came up in about ten minutes. Seemed like it was nothing more than someone having gone on break and flaked on getting our luggage up and two lazy baggage employees who couldn't be bothered to look into it."
Contras: "The flight may be inexpensive, but the add on costs to book a seat and carry on a bag were ridiculous. Also, I didn't like that there wasn't a complimentary food or drink item. The line to check my bag was also extremely long and slow and they should have had more staff working."
