When we reacted and stood up, the flight attendant screamed at us and told us to sit down. Afterwards, the flight attendant asked us what was wrong and she had realized that the AC had leaked on us. All she did was put towels on our seat and walked away. For at least 10 minutes I had to raise a towel to catch the water from dripping onto our heads during lift off and landing."

Tensions were high and the crew was not around to assuage the masses. Very unhelpful. The 4 hour flight became a 9 and a half hour flight. It, for lack of a better term, sucked"

Instead of boarding the passengers and waiting for getting Istanbul approval to fly, Turkish Airlines should have canceled this flight IF the weather condition in Istanbul was not Ok. Later on, once we got off the airplane in Istanbul after more than 10 hours, I noticed that the weather condition only affected our flight from Erbil, and surprisingly not other flights arriving from EU or USA. (My wife's flight from Washington DC to Istanbul's Ataturk airport at the same time landed smoothly, without any hassles!) The way that THY is categorizing passengers/flights, supposedly based on racial issues, is outrageous. Do not discriminate against your customers who just happened to be based in a neighboring country. If there's a harsh weather condition it should apply for everyone and all flights."

Of course Egypt Air said I was not their passenger, so I should request the chair to my airline. I tell the man from Egypt air to talk directly to his colleagues in Turkish Airways. He is angry and tells me he's doing me the favor of getting the chair even if it's not his job, so i should be very thankful. He requested the chair and sat me on it. Kept telling me I should be thankful to him, even if it wasn't his job. Turkish Airways never got the wheelchair for me and I have mobility problem but they tell me to get to another airline to get it! No entertainment originally in Spanish in any flights for Spanish speaking passengers."

Prós: "Our flight from Zanzibar took off 40 minutes late and we made up no time in the air. We arrived at the Istanbul airport 20 minutes before our next flight was supposed to take off. Of course the gates were nowhere near each other so we ran as fast as we possibly could to catch our next flight. When we finally got to the gate, the employees were so kind to rush us through each step of security and get us to the door and there had to be at least 7 or 8 people who were working and doing whatever they could to get us on that flight. It meant so much! We had been up since 2am to catch our previous flight and just wanted to get home to our families and dogs! We were so grateful they worked so hard to get us on the plane!"
Contras: "Because we were late, we got what I'm guessing were the last two seats on the plane. The window seats in the last two rows. It was EXTREMELY tight back there. I'm just glad we were able to get on the plane but the comfort level was really not great and for a 10 hour flight, that stunk."

He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Contras: "I have a dairy allergy but had no option to prepurchase a dairy free meal. It made for a very unenjoyable flight as I couldn't eat anything they had. What was worse was after I told them of my situation they said they understood and had a meal that would do but there was cheese, yogurt, milk chocolate, etc."
Contras: "That I was forced to check my baggage. I never received a chain ticket for my luggage. The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. The boarding crew was manually tracking who boarded and who didn't. It was a cluster."

Whilst the crew were nice , the actual plane was old and creaky. It wasn't up to the standards expected of Air France. They could have done better in getting a plane up to standard. A lot of the passengers were disappointed ."

Contras: "Flight was at 10:30pm. Waited at the gate from 9:00-10:40 with no news. Nobody knew what was going on or what we were waiting for. Finally at 10:40 they announced that the flight would be delayed, even though we had figured it out by then. At 11 the flight crew showed up. We finally boarded at 11:30 and we arrived an hour late to our destination. They offered drinks to the 2 people flying "business class" (they were just sitting in the front but amongst the economy class seats) at the very beginning, but then waited to serve everyone else, but as it was late, most people were already sleeping. We arrived an hour late."

This makes the life of the crew so hard as it is not their fault and clearly many people were affected!! Lastly stop using small planes for your Brisbane flights!!!!!!! We pay good money and deserve better. This is not the first time"

I had not read the carry-on baggage restrictions well and my bag ended up being just a little too big so it had to be checked. Prós: "I will never fly with Etihad in the future. My bag was delayed for 7 days and the only retribution I will receive is about $100 from Etihad. The airline is almost impossible to reach since they have extremely limited hours in their baggage claims dept and it took about 5 days before they even located my bag. It was another 2 days before I actually received my bag."
Contras: "Horrible airport - sedated and lost ground staff - uncomfortable reclining seats in the business that is a total turn off if you are connecting from a lie-flat business seat and the worst was the fact that I was confirmed twice by the ground and cabin crew that all my incoming luggage was transferred, only to discover upon arrival in Islamabad that they never made it on the flight as the time was short (no idea why Etihad offers short time connections to other airlines when it knows that the airport infrastructure, the baggage transfer systems and their own crew are simply NOT FIT to handle that. Overall - bad experience!"
