A Alemanha restringiu a entrada de todos os viajantes que chegam de fora do Espaço Econômico Europeu, exceto cidadãos da Alemanha, residentes com autorização de residência e portadores de visto D e algumas exceções (detalhadas abaixo).
A Alemanha restringiu todos os voos de passageiros do Reino Unido. Para viajar para a Alemanha, os cidadãos do Reino Unido residentes na Alemanha precisarão de prova de residência. Se ainda não possuírem um cartão de residência, deverão apresentar provas credíveis de que residem na Alemanha. Isso pode incluir um certificado de registro de endereço (Meldebescheinigung), um contrato de locação, uma conta de serviços públicos em seu nome ou um certificado de solicitação (Fiktionsbescheinigung).
A partir de 25 de junho, os viajantes que chegam da Áustria, Bélgica, Bulgária, Croácia, Chipre, República Tcheca, Dinamarca, Espanha, Estônia, Finlândia, França, Grécia, Hungria, Irlanda, Islândia, Itália, Letônia, Liechtenstein, Lituânia, Luxemburgo, Malta, Holanda, Noruega, Polônia, Portugal, Eslováquia, Eslovênia, Suécia ou Suíça podem entrar na Alemanha.
A Alemanha suspendeu as restrições de entrada para viajantes provenientes dos seguintes países: Austrália, Nova Zelândia, Singapura, Tailândia e Uruguai. Os viajantes devem ter passado pelo menos 2 semanas nos países listados acima antes de viajarem para a Alemanha. Também serão retiradas as restrições à entrada de viajantes que chegam da Coreia do Sul, China, Japão, Hong Kong e Macau, se isso for acordado de forma recíproca. A lista será revisada a cada duas semanas.
É possível entrar em qualquer país terceiro para viajantes que possam demonstrar um motivo importante para sua viagem. A lista de razões importantes abrange os cidadãos alemães e da UE e todos os cidadãos de países terceiros com direito de residência na Alemanha. Também inclui profissionais de saúde e assistência social e pesquisadores em saúde, trabalhadores qualificados cuja atividade econômica é necessária e não pode ser adiada ou executada no exterior, pessoal de frete e transporte, trabalhadores sazonais, estudantes que não podem continuar seus estudos no exterior, viajantes que fazem visitas urgentes razões familiares, diplomatas e funcionários de organizações internacionais e pessoas em trânsito na Alemanha.
Viajantes que entrarem na Alemanha após permanecerem em uma área de risco designada no exterior durante os 14 dias anteriores devem se submeter a um teste obrigatório para COVID-19. Viajantes que entram na Alemanha de outro país e visitaram uma área de alto risco nos últimos 10 dias, devem preencher um registro digital antes de viajar.
Requisitos de quarentena
Os requisitos de quarentena na Alemanha diferem dependendo do estado alemão. Todos os viajantes que chegam de áreas de alto risco (mais de 50 casos por 100.000 habitantes) são obrigados a permanecer em quarentena domiciliar de 10 dias na chegada à Alemanha. Após 5 dias, é possível garantir a liberação da quarentena com um teste negativo. Mais informações podem ser encontradas aqui.
Na maioria dos estados federais alemães, um teste negativo, no mínimo após cinco dias, significa que a quarentena doméstica não é mais necessária. Além disso, em alguns regulamentos estaduais, as isenções da obrigação de quarentena exigem a apresentação de um resultado de teste negativo.

Contras: "1. rude staff - i stood in Jburg at the counter for 13 minutes (i checked my clock) while 8 staff ladies spoke among themselves in a myriad of languages. FINALLY one lady asked if i had been helped! I said no and she was clearly less than thrilled to be the one to help with my question. i literally just wanted to ask if my seat assignment was a window, middle or aisle, but it was like i was the bane of her existence and i interrupted their social hour. On my outbound flight (ORD to DOH) I also watched three staff members be beyond rude to guest after guest at the check in counter regarding baggage when they came forward to "re check-in" which was a new requirement for most people. There was a lot of general confusion on behalf of the consumers and the staff was NOT the least bit patient or helpful in explaining what they needed from us or why this flight had different procedures than normal. I still don't know why they were so fussy about baggage and made everyone re check in at the gate in fact. And they didnt do it to my baggage so i have no idea why they were so rude to some and completely left others alone. (didn't seem to have to do with size, carrying of electronics, i don't know?) 2. the physical flight - you changed my original flight time to something that was REALLY close for my connection from DOH to CDG, so you instead bumped me to a later flight without consulting me. it would have caused me to miss a connection flight I booked separately through EasyJet from Pairs to my home airport BIQ. I had to figure that out on my own. RUSH through Doha to make my 35 min connection and barely was allowed to board my onward Paris flight by the Qatar gate staff which was only cutting it close as a result of YOUR changes! Yet i was treated like i was somehow "late" and wouldn't be able to board ??? Again incredibly rude staff. Subsequently you lost my luggage because the connection was too tight. i landed on Friday and it didn't catch up to me until Tuesday. Not one person has said sorry or offered any restitution. And this is honestly what upsets me the most. I doubt anyone even reads this. pathetic. I work for a travel club and since Monday (so in 4 days) I have actively reached out to 4 clients to cancel and re-booked their Qatar airways flight to another carrier to get them to Johannesburg. They will be doing the same safari experience I did, but I will NOT recommend and book my clients on Qatar after my experience."

Contras: "there was a long delay and we missed our connection. The staff was very helpfull but everything happened so slowl. When we finally took off the food service was very slow and also the trash collection. The very tasty chocolate punding arrived as a guice"

Contras: "Em athenas recebi uma informação errada, na qual me disseram q eu não precisaria retirar minha bagagem em São Paulo, que iria direto pro Rio de Janeiro. Após o desembarque em São Paulo, quase perdi a conexão esperei horas até conseguir recuperará minha mala, não havia nenhum funcionário da turkish ou avíanca para me orientar nem me ajudar a recuperar bagagens. Tive q contar com ajuda de seguranças do aeroporto que já haviam visto aquela situação . Não houve pedido de desculpas, nem nenhuma assistência."

There was a priority line, but for some reason I didn't get in it, although I fly business. The line was not that long but it just did not move. And the a/c was not working. Worst boarding experience ever and I've been flying for over 40 years. When I boarded finally I asked if I could give a review and although they said yes- nothing. So I hope someone who cares sees this."

Contras: "This flight was cancelled due to weather conditions in Turkey, a snow storm that caused the Istanbul airport to be closed. I tried to reschedule my flight but was delayed 4 days which meant I was going to miss my work for 3 days."

Contras: "13 1/2 hour flight three rows from the rear of the plane. I feel and smell like a sardine. The food was horrid. I tasted it, but thought best of eating it for fear of food poisoning. It also looked disgusting. Couldn't understand any of the announcements."

Prós: "We got to the desk to check in and there was one person being served in front of us. He finished with him, turned and left the area through the dooor. No one came to help us for 15 minutes. Then they came out to answer the phone and said we were 10 minutes past the cut off and we could not fly."
Contras: "Staff just walked away while we were in line, the rudeness and mean attitude, they blamed us for being too late after ignoring us and made us late, they didn't offer an alternative flight until we asked. Overall, horrible customer service. Never been treated so rudely by people in the airlines industry in my entire 42 years of flying!"

Contras: "The chairs, for whatever reason, after just not that comfortable. Too squishy and they make noise when you adjust your position. I fidget a lot on flights so I felt like I was making a lot of noise. Also the plane didn't have cold air, do you get toasty pretty quick."
