As I spoke only limited Portuguese, I greatly appreciated the attempts made by the ground staff and flight crew to communicate with me, both in English and via hand gestures. I am certain that no domestic airline would be so helpful to non-English speakers in the USA!"
Contras: "I realize Azul cannot help being stuck in Terminal 2, but it's not the most comfortable place to wait for a flight. Also, after I walked through the gate, several boarding flights merged confusingly in a single passageway with exits to multiple planes and many people got lost and ended up (temporarily!) on the wrong airplane, despite heroic attempts by the ground crew to direct passenger traffic. There must be a better method than having everyone follow colored lines to the planes - it wasn't working!"

Contras: "Anyone who flies the route NVT-GRU knows two things. The departure and landing times are unreliable and they always....always over sell seats. Navegantes (NVT) is a very small airport but connects to so many international flights. The city and many of the neighboring towns have become vacation hotspots. I personally fly this route twice a month these days So many bad things happen because of their poor on-time results and overbooking. The worst of which is missing your connections. This was the third time in 2 months that I’ve missed my connection in São Paulo to NYC. This time I purposely took an earlier flight 6:40pm so I would have no chance to miss my 11pm flight to New York. Then a 2 hour and 20 minute delay! My God ...really? Another missed flight. GOL you CAN do BETTER! ."

The touchscreen didnt worl very well, they offed free headphones but my headphone jack was broke and all of the usb charger ports didnt work in my row there werent many new choices for entertainment. We found out right away that there was a delay and chances of missing the connecting flight from Philadelphia to Orlando were great. We requested a different booking to insure travel to Orlando, which was denied. So the connecting flight was missed and after hours arrived in Orlando at midnight. Missed my ride and all car rentals were booked. All this caused a lot of anxiety and unnecessary stress. Very disappointing. And to add to it, the flight itself was horrible and there was no entertainment available for the entire flight."

Weather I can understand, but telling us we are waiting on a specific crew to arrive and then announcing that crew is not for our flight was just terrible communication. No one seemed apologetic. The only thing they did was bring a snack cart over for us, and that got raided by children so many people didn't get anything. We had arranged transport from Orlando to Tampa for that evening, and our rides had to cancel because instead of 7pm we were now arriving at 130am. Your airline's mistakes put everyone at an inconvenience and we weren't offered assistance to fix it. My husband went to ask for help in arranging new transport home, but he couldn't even get to the front of the line. The customer service was terrible. We really enjoyed our first leg of the flight home with American Airlines, but after the second leg and all of the problems we had... we will not fly with American Airlines in the future."
Contras: "Total incompetence. Navigational system broken, two hours on the tarmac, unboarded, then reboarded one at a time, then out to the tarmac and then back to the gate to do FAA paperwork before finally being over 4 hours late. And they don't really care. Very sad."

Contras: "Crew was "all business" -- not many smiles. They offered the usually .5 ounce of pretzels or two cookies. Passengers routinely asked "can I have both?" and the answer was routinely: no. Really? My $300+ ticket isn't worth pretzels AND two cookies? Seems silly. And, you know that have BOXES of these free snacks."
Contras: "It was a full flight, anyone in loading zones 7-9 were required to check their carry-on luggage. We were in loading zone 6, so not required and preferred not to due to our full day of air travel that would continue into a 3 hour car trip. My husband reached the gate, his ticket scanned, and let onto the plane. I walk up next, my ticket is scanned and then the personnel at the gate said in what I can only describe as the most disrespectful, inconsiderate, ill-tempered tone that he would need take my bag. He grabbed it out of my possession, shoved it into the luggage sizing rack and even though it did fit inside the lines, he said it was "too close" and would need to be checked. Not wanting to cause a scene and quite frankly speechless by this man's attitude, I did not object.. It was not until I was seated on the plane that I noticed more than a dozen items of luggage larger than mine and that the vast majority of people that had 3, 4, 5 carry on items when the maximum is 2: one personal item and one carry on luggage item. It was both the lack of respect and the lack of consistency that lead me to have an extremely "poor" boarding experience. Serious retraining needs to be completed and boarding attendants should not be able to harass airline passengers."
Contras: "LATAM took our luggage from a flight from a different airline that we used to get from Miami to Orlando. They locked it up and closed before we arrived. My friend was unable to get his medicine, I missed vital time from a work contract, and we had to spend the night at the airport waiting until 1pm today to receive our luggage. This is the worst experience I've had with an airline. No one spoken with on LATAM seemed to care. We were stranded without sleep and got no clear answer from the LATAM hotline. There was no mention of compensation for our troubles. I will not be recommending this airline to other travelers aa this has ruines my work schedule and my friend is unable to get his medicine."

Prós: "They actually checked sizes of some “carryons.” Of course, it’s a cash cow for the carrier. The checkers should get 20% of the fee collected for checking oversized carryons at the gate."
Contras: "There are faster, more efficient ways to load and unload passengers."
Contras: "I had very little time to make my connection in Newark. Other airports/airlines have given me a short connection pass which has allowed passengers to make their connection with less stress. The security line inNewsrk was ridiculous. I spoke to a TSA agent who couldn’t have cared less if I missed my flight and a United representative who told me to “just try.” In the end, I had to ask other passengers if I could go ahead of them. While I made my flight with a few minutes to spare, the process could have been much easier and the United Rep could have done more. He could have just called the gate at the very least to let them know I was coming. Apathy is not an indication of good customer service."
Contras: "There was no free in-flight entertainment available on the tv screens. Half of the screens didn't work. The seat belts were not long enough to accommodate the passenger sitting beside me. The space for my personal item was smaller than the other flight."
Prós: "Great flight experience thank you United."
Prós: "Having a direct flight across the country was a good thing. That was about the only positive, well that & we did land safely."
Contras: "Ticket agent said I could take my bag on the plane. Gate agent told me my bag not I were going on the plane unless I paid $50 to put the bag below if I wanted to get in the plane. Very matter of fact & rude. I was just about the last person they let board so there really wasn't a chance to discuss with them. No WiFi on a cross country plane, lame. No access to the headrest video screen w/o paying for it, lame. Snotty unconcerned flight attendants as well. Overall one of the worst flights I've had in memory. I would pay more next time to fly another airline."
Prós: "I had no problems the gate agent was very nice and I did get the basic economy which that only did I have to pay for my bags but I also got the last seat in the back in the corner which is OK I guess I’ll pay more attention to the fair I still probably saved a little money but I don’t know that I save that much I think that sometimes the boarding agent needs to pay attention to the carry-on luggage for sure bring a lot carry-on luggage which doesn’t allow for others to have carry-on luggage who were in the later groups and then they get penalized with their bags being checked as there’s no more room and they’re not basic economy but other than that I like taking United they have nonstop service between Orlando in Houston and it’s been a wonderful experience most of the time and I think the airlines do a pretty good job considering the traveling public themselves to be very challenging at times professionalism and courtesy works both ways and unfortunately people buy tickets and think that it’s a one-way street. they then run to the media who loves to make it about the big guy versus the little guy anyway good job united and I will continue to fly you when you’re the most appropriate carrier to get me to where I want to be."
Contras: "Nothing I just need to pay more attention to my ticket purchase I didn’t realize it was a basic economy until after I bought it which meant I had to pay for my bags which added $50 to my fair which wasn’t that big a deal but then I got a seat all the way the back in the corner which really wasn’t that bad either but if I went to Carrynon a bag I was allowed to do so"
Prós: "Got their early."
Contras: "Took an extra 20 minutes to get our luggage as it came after everyone else's, of course."
Prós: "Got in my seat and took off right on time. Courteous welcoming staff as we boarded and deplaned."
Contras: "The servers serving drinks and snacks, never smiled never said your welcome...maybe having a bad day? Sucks we have to pay to watch anything on tv. We pay enough at least let's us have two hours of entertainment."
Prós: "I fly about four times a year if not more. Always delays, missing my connections or running like a maniac trying to get to my connection. BUT. This was the first time in a very long time that I actually boarded on time."
Contras: "The crew members for some reason had attitudes. The two/ plus hours in the plane , not one cracked a smile..One,literally threw a tiny bag of snacks on my tray, which bounced off and she proceeded to step on them .... oh well. I'll take a not-so-nice hostess over delays and missing connections . Maybe I'll find an airlines that can give me both?"
Prós: "They have always treated me right, love the direct tv and seats are super comfy!"

Contras: "They gave us free tv to watch but my headphones didn't work in the jack. Even the pair they gave me didn't work. Also my flight was almost an hour late."
Prós: "It is really bad the seat to small for average person not leg room at all it is a flying school bus."
Prós: "I did not like the plane ride. There were way to many things to comment on. Most importantly everyone of my.flights was delayed."
Prós: "The seats were uncomfortable. The staff was cold. The food was horrible, I wasn't even able to eat some of it. The chicken was full of bones and grissle. The rest just tasted bad. Most of their planes did not have screens in the back of the seats. Instead they wanted you to watch on your personal device via their app which worked sub par. The baggage on the return flight was delayed and I almost missed my next flight even though I had a 2 hour 40 min layover. Thankfully that flight was delayed 1 hour and a half. Next time I will stick with airlines I know better. Delta, Emirates, and Qatar all offer superior service and upscale aircraft. The 2k spent was not worth what I received."
Prós: "-Complimentary Snack and beverage -Can pick your seats when booking -Changing Tables in restrooms -Entertainment options -Early boarding for families with small children"
Contras: "-Free Soda but charged for water -Had confirmed seats but then our party with 2 toddlers got split up -Semi convenient( rather small could hardly fit a 1 year old) changing table but then flight attendants threw a fit when a stinky diaper was changed in there. -Had to have special programs on device to even play anything, thought I had everything on for return flight to watch movies but nope still needed something extra Wifi only works for United App and Website -Waiting in the shorter line to preboard with our 2 toddlers only to be cut off by a Global Travel Program(?) family with 15+ people"
Prós: "Everything was the way a flight should be. Crew was nice and polite. T.v. was a plus, and a drink to wet your throat, also a plus"
Contras: "Can't say there was anything I didn't like"

Contras: "Flight boarded, no auxiliary power unit so no A/C in plane and Pilot unable to start aircraft engines. Stuck in aircraft away from gate for 30 min with no A/C. Finally moved to gate to wait for repairs and allowed to disembark. Flight 2 hours late to Orlando. Direct TV no audio in seat 11F entire flight and I WAS TRYING TO WATCH THE WORLD SERIES!"
Prós: "There was a particular flight attendant that really went the extra mile for everyone. I wish I knew her name but she had blonde hair and wore glasses, I've never seen a more sincere flight attendant."
Contras: "My seats! I was in the very last row right in front of bathroom"
Prós: "Although the flight was cancelled due to the hurricane i got my money back."
Contras: "That the flight was late because the problen with the air condition and that cost me more money"

Contras: "Flight was delayed 3 1/2 hours... Took forever to get on plane once on plane people were in wrong seats so I had to keep getting up so they could figure out who was in the wrong seat. Just a mess. Even crew seemed annoyed. Finally got to Orlando at 3am suppose to be there at midnight."
Contras: "I was thoroughly disappointed when I realized that I had to pay to get any type of entertainment on the in-flight screen. That feels like zero effort on the part of the airline to make my flight enjoyable."
Contras: "After United made me miss my connecting flight, I got an alternate flight to a different airport, but not apology, no offer to upgrade, nothing. Already frustrated, and with my knees hitting the seat in front of me because the seats are too close together, a flight attendant scolded me when I dared put my leg in the aisle (which I often do on other airlines without incident). Once on the ground, I went straight to United's baggage office to see if my bag had followed me, and encountered two of the rudest people, cutting me off whenever I said anything more than they needed to enter into their computer. If your job is in customer service, be friendly, apologize when things go wrong, understand that your customers are your reason for being in business, and be helpful."
Contras: "Again, spicy snack. Long flight, you had to have the latest app on your phone or pad to watch a movie, flight from Houston to Boise had movie/tv monitors. Loading 4th group to the back of the plane makes it tough."
Prós: "After being so delayed, movies were free."
Contras: "We were delayed over 3 hours. I don't think I've ever flown with United and not been delayed. Plus they never offered us food on the flight, only whatever was complimentary. Just not a great experience."

Contras: "The flight was delayed almost 2 hours. Then the guy on the front desk was really rude .. Maybe because I'm Latino? I mean he was super friendly with a white guy and a African American girl .. But with me .. Rudeness and bad service .. I said "hello , how are you?".. He didn't answer .. I told him when I did my checkin my boarding pass had "See agent" in the seating section .. He just took the ticket and gave me the last sit available on the plain even though I arrived almost 3 hours before the original departing hour .. I don't know .. It might be the only available sit or it was just a racist thing .. Who knows .. Really disappointed with United. I'll go back with Ameican Airlines."
Prós: "The seats were far more comfortable that frontier. I would have slept through most of my flight but unfortunately there was some pretty bad turbulence for the first half of the flight. Overall tho very comfortable."
Contras: "Kayak failed to alert me that MCO has an A & B bagge pickup areas and did not indicate which area I would find my luggage."
