Contras: "Food was served only once and when asked for anything to purchase or just to get something to eat- nothing was available for purchase but there were some chips that were never given to customers... very uncomfortable plain- no space to move, the handle of sit was broken and passenger ahead of us could not adjust her sit in the emergency row as it was going down and never upraight.. she had to take off and land in not very safe position!"

Contras: "At check in in Bogota we asked which line to turn in luggage; as we had previously done online checkin. We were placed in a long line and waited about 45 min.s. Several people were allowed to bypass the line, as they were 'late' for their flight. When we were close to being served the attendant 'placing customers in lines' directed four or five groups from the special needs line ahead of our line in a row. We were told we had missed the baggage check in by 2 minutes and had to pay $60 usd to take an flight 2 hours later. We were then yelled at that we had been in the wrong line. There was another line, very fast one, one the opposite side of the gate area for those with 'bag drop' only needs. I had showed the airline personnel our check in info on my cell and was placed in the wrong line by them. So many problems at airport check in with this airline."

Contras: "Everything was bad. Super delayed, terrible explanation. Had to stay overnight in the airport in the worst lounge I’ve ever seen in my life. Got a hotel voucher but by the time I would have gotten through immigration and got to a hotel I would have had 1 hour to “sleep” before having to get back to the airport for the 4 am flight which was then delayed again to 5am. After all this, we only got a $250 voucher on a $1500 flight. When I asked about business class upgrades they said they had seats open but it would cost $400! For a seat that stayed empty Instead of giving it to a customer who had been through the worst travel experience of their life. The flight attendants seemed like they really couldn’t give a damn about helping out customers and it’s the only airline I’ve ever interacted with where no one speaks English. One guy actually rolled his eyes when I asked him for the meal I missed when I was sleeping."

Contras: "The original flight was booked to dec 11th 2016 at 10:20am. On dex 9th at about 10pm i got a text message and email telling that my flight was rescheduled and asking me to call Avianca. So i did, and my new flight was booked to leave 2:18pm, arriving in Salvador at night. I asked for options, they offered me a flight at 6am and another at 8:30 am. I said that i would talk to my party and return the call, and we choose the 8:30 flight. When i called back, they said this flight had only 3 seats (we were a party of 6 adt, 1 chd and 2 inf). In the avianca site they were offering the flight for the whole party, but, of course, with a higher rate that i paid in june. The person said she coulndt book it for me, and i should call the SAC (client service) to try to solve the problem. I called the SAC and after 40min in the phone they were able to put everybody on the desired flight. I felt that they were trying to rebook us on a cheaper flight, letting the seats with highest fares to be sold to someone else. Since it was their fault the flight changing, i think it was a bad experience in my first flight with Avianca. Probably will avoid them in the future."

Contras: "Our flight was an hour late taking off and no explanation was given as many of the passengers kept asking what was the problem. The flight attendants need to work on their attitudes and responsibilities. The flight was predominantly Brazilian passengers but the Avianca crew showed displeasure when asked questions in Portuguese by many different customers such as a beverage (one attendant told an older gentleman near me that a tray of drinks was available at the back of the plane and to go an get some if he like. Rude!!) It was just a very disagreeable experience flying on Avianca"

Contras: "I did not like the 2 baggage 23 kg rule. International flights are always 32 Kg. I had just one baggage with 29 Kg. and you guys wanted to charge me 104 extra dollars for my only one bag! Too much. The 32 kg for international flights is the commun rule among all airlines, except Copa. Need to change it. Thanks"

Contras: "The food has few to none vegetarian/vegan options. These days more and more people are trying to eat in a less cruel and healthier way. It would be great if you could keep up with that trend =) Otherwise it would really make me (and a lot of other people) happy if the disposable items such as cutlery and packaging were optional, so to reduce the plastic waste. All in all you offer a great service =)"

The lady besides me was travelling with all her family, a big group, and by mistake it seems that they ordered 2 gluten free meals. They needed only one. The attendant refused tongive the other lady a normal sandwich!!! He said, yoynare created an issue, now, you have to wait until we finish the service and we will see waht we can do ( we were on the row 6!!!) ant the end she accepted the gluten free because ahe was hungry. Unbelievable answer and zero empathy tonsolve the situation."
Contras: "The quality of service provided by your employees. You really need to work on trainig. Similar issues happened in the second flight. The attitude of Copa employees has been going down the hill in the las year or so."

Turned back at the air port in Rio I had to spend an extra 13 days in Rio de Janeiro at my expense, three to see doctor and get vacine, plus ren day waiting period."
Contras: "To change ticket I had to pay change fee plus fare difference. Copa said it was not their responsibility to notify passengers of health alerts and Kayak should be responsible. Needless to say I was on the hook for the time and the bill. I have flown Copa with satisfaction a number of times but this is enough to discourage me from ever flying them again and possibly ever using Kayak again."

Le dijimos que solo traíamos dos maletas y nos dijo eso no es mi problema ud puede traer 10 maletas pero ninguna con sobre peso. Como se nota que ud nunca viaja me dijo. Son 107 dólares si quiere llevar su equipaje y si no de una déjelo acá en Cancún y váyase ud para Costa Rica. Ni esposo tivo que ir por otra maleta para poder viajar pero no me gusto la forma en que se burló de nosotros y la manera en que nos trató"

Contras: "I needed to change my ticket and Kayak had another agency issue the ticket. Kayak does not change tickets and the third party and the airline said only Kayak could make the change. Having to purchase a whole new ticket from the airline, save the money and frustration and avoid Kayak and just book directly with the airline. The ticket would have and should have been changed with no fees. $325 lesson learned."

Contras: "Luggage....it is allowed to charge but they shouldn’t charge. During on boarding they communicate that because the cabin was full of hand luggage the rest of the passengers needed to dispatch their hand luggage for free. This occurs only because they charge to dispatch luggage when buying the tickets. So nobody dispatch luggage and those who dis became frustrated because they payed. This unfortunately occurs on all companies."

Contras: "they overbooked the flights and the way they communicated it to passengers was a complete disaster. I was able to board and travel but I had to sneak out of the actual line and show my visa appointment receipt to a latam staff person. It was very hard to talk to the staff most of them were just screaming "go to the line" and were not really keen to listening to what passengers had to say. I found a latam person that wasn't really dealing with this situation and managed to get him to talk to other latam staff about my visa appointment. It was pretty stressful for me to have to deal with the possibility of missing such an important event without a good reason."

Prós: "Crew were helpful. I was given the wrong seat number and they helped sort it out. They also did priority boarding for us when the queue was ridiculous"
Contras: "The check in process was a mess with people going from all queues and it took far too long. They also have me the wrong seat number for boarding causing lots of confusion"

Contras: "LATAM was incredibly unprofessional, alarming, and entirely non-communicative. After a 3 hour delay that caused me (and tons of others) to miss a connecting international flight, LATAM’s telephone servers had the nerve to claim I was a no show and needed to pay them for my absence. This resulted in a long discussion where I was held on hold until they could adequately determine that yes i missed the flight because they held us late. This was the only way that i was able to avoid their charge to me for being a “no show.”"

For a midnight flight, I was really bummed to find out that my seat would not recline! My leg room on the A321 was lacking in comparison with GOL."

Contras: "The food was poor. At least three middle rows did not have any entertainment. We reported the problem, the chief/supervisor flight attendant said that she was going to assign us new seats, she then disappear and did nothing to solve the problem. I spoke with another flight attendant requesting to speak with this supervisor again, she said that I rather voice my complaint through latam.com and the mentioned supervisor, not only lied to us, but never showed up. It appears that latam needs to reinforce their staff training or perhaps to renew their staff supervisors and train them to avoid unnecessary lies to their passengers."

Contras: "I have time toget the other flight but they already have every thing ready to let us in Sao Pablo, I have to stay 1 day. That was very bad."

Contras: "Immigration in Mexico City was way too long 2+ hours in line with backed up restrooms the entire airport smelled like sewage."

Contras: "Comida, pois nao da pra comer feijao preto no cafe da manha junto com omelete, sistema de entretenimento que nao funcionou por quase 3hs. A equipe tambem parecia nao querer atender os passageiros."

Contras: "Changing flights is becoming Aeromexico’s normal practice, but if you want to change (even if you paid full price in Fiart Class) they’ll charge you for it. They should review their policies."

Prós: "Landed safely :-)"
Contras: "No veg food option at all. I had to survive the whole journey on peanuts. Audio sockets were broken, couldn't watch TV. The tiny TV screen was too far to see as well :-("

Contras: "Transferring in Cancun is a terrible experience."

Contras: "I will never fly with this airline again. I missed my original flight so they cancelled all of my flights without my permission and resold my seats. Talk about making an easy $2k without doing absolutely nothing. I paid for another flight to get to Mexico to fly to el salvador when they told me that they cancelled everything. Now I am stranded in Mexico on Christmas and they don't care."

Prós: "I️ likedthe attention of the flight attendants in flight"
Contras: "The check in at the counter was a nightmare. While we had checked in online already we had to wait in line for over 2 hours! We arrived at the airport and got in line right away. They started calling people’s flights that were leaving in less than 20 mins and that’s when everything became a nightmare. Everyone was so disorganized and people that were leaving in less than 20 mins were put on a different line. The line we had been waiting on was put on hold but the line next to us was not so now we had to wait for all the people (which was about 70) to get checked in. As my patience ran out i went up to the counter and tried to just get my bags checked so we can be on our way to our gate and of course i get the answer that i have to wait because i still have enough time (our flight was leaving in 40 minutes). then they brought a supervisor over to tell me the same thing- there was absolutely no help. By the time we were able to go on to our gate we had exactly 20 mins until our flight left. Very unacceptable. It looked like it was everyone’s first day at work and no one knew what they were doing. we fly delta all the time and i know Aeromexico now works with delta but they need a lot more training on what customer service is all about"

Contras: "Horrible service. Connecting flight ran late causing me to miss my connection to San Francisco and the "connection desk supervisor" blamed me for his companies short comings and tried to charge me $500 to re-book. Ha, I wouldn't give AeroMexico another cent. Garbage establishment, can't believe Kayak does business with such a low end partner."

Prós: "U can watch movies for free"
Contras: "Plane was dirty"

Prós: "Crew was nice"
Contras: "Boarding was super unorganized everyone was all over the place."

Contras: "My nephews got to the airport 1 1/2 early to check in. They were Not promitted to board the plane. I had to buy new tickets or fly out Monday. I have insurance and was not reimbursed."

Contras: "the second part departed late ...."

Contras: "*Seat was broken and seat cushion was hard. No one in our row was comfortable. Was not aware that the row before exit row does not recline. We were in row 14. Fortunately there were some empty seats so we could move. Would not have chosen that seat if website shared that information. The TV screens came done from the ceiling so everyone had to watch same thing. Music channels only played a few songs over and over again. This plane needs to be retired or have major upgrades. Definitely an older plane."

Prós: "Nothing."
Contras: "For starters, the air conditioning either wasn't working or was super slow making the flight uncomfortably hot. This is the second flight on this trip where a flight has been delayed and there is just TOO much confusion. You guys don't have enough employees guiding us to the right direction. Which caused me to miss my flight. Making me spend an awful night over night at the airport, missing work, and overall just an INCONVENIENCE. Delayed flights seem to be a common thing with your airline son ADD MORE STAFF! So ridiculous, the staff in Mexico City are useless at helping people out!!! I'm not one to complain but this was so unprofessional!"

Contras: "I didn't like on my way back home the second I walked in I felt nauseated due to the bad odor. Smelled like urine and athlete feet, I was sick to my stomach."

Contras: "We were early arriving on both legs of our flight, which was nice. Charlotte Airport staff was rude as usual, so nothing new there. Overall, we had a great trip."

Contras: "Everything. In a flight from Miami/Orlando (full of families) you are not allowed to choose seats, at the gate (where you supposed to change seats) the staff was rude, inside the plan people make their own changes and it gets a mess. Terrible experience."

Prós: "I liked that I got to philly"
Contras: "The seats were cramped, plane was freezing cold and everyone was wearing jackets and blankets because the flight attendants wouldn't raise the temp. The pretzel bag had literally 5 mini pretzels and that was it. It was a bad flight."

Contras: "I wish I could of finished my movie !!!"

Prós: "The crew was slow. Granted, the plane was full and the crew had many passengers but service was slow and cursory."
Contras: "Flying economy on American Airlines is very unpleasant. The seats are too small-the aisles too narrow and the bathrooms incredibly tiny. Only 2 bathrooms in economy for a tremendous amount of passengers. I had requested a bulkhead seat because of hip surgery. I had to purchase it."

Prós: "The crew and plane was great"
Contras: "The first flight was delayed causing me to miss my second flight and having to spend an extra night at my layover location but the airline accommodated me accordingly with a room and flight the next morning Dallas airport was a shambles not being helpful at all with the people who were delayed"

Prós: "The crew was fantastic. The weather was terrible and the pilots crafted an excellent landing. Flight attendant was hilarious!!"

Prós: "It got me there safely without delays."
Contras: "Food isn't good. the connections can be offered in a much better and time efficient way but they were not. I had to change airports in NYC with a 7-hr layover while they could've flown me to JFK (there was available flights). Same thing with coming back, a long layover in Texas."

Prós: "Crew were relatively friendly"
Contras: "No notification that boarding was delayed No in seat entertainment Older seats were not comfortable"

Prós: "Priority boarding."
Contras: "Food is horrible at AA, in special breakfast!"

Contras: "Staff were so rude"

Prós: "Airport staff were so helpful, they helped my mom out that needed a wheelchair, the American Airlines staff were also so helpful changing seats"
Contras: "The food on the plane was not very good. Also having to pay for checking are bag was annoying. We thought using our American Airlines card would pay for the baggage but they said it wasn't covered ...."

Contras: "We bought the tickets with 1 luggage included. In the check in, the y charged us!"

Prós: "Great movie selection and beautiful plane!"

Prós: "everything on travel is good."

Contras: "Without any explanation...American Airlines cancelled my reservation! I needed to be sent back to poor quality hotel for a night and take a different flight out the next morning. American Airlines was supposed to provide transportation back and forth from the hotel however a car never showed up at the hotel to pick us up and I needed to get my own taxi at the last minute (American did however reimburse me for the taxi fare at the airport). I never received an explanation as to why my reservation was cancelled and was never offered any type of compensation for such a major inconvenience. They dd ultimately waive my 25 bag fee but it wasn't very easy to even get that from them. I felt that they should have been more empathetic towards my inconvenience and offered me any type of compensation to make up for such a horrible experience. When I asked about possibly being upgraded to first class they told me absolutely not! A little graciousness can go a long way, American Airlines showed that they could not care less about my inconvenience (other than Rodrigo at the counter the next morning who actually showed he was truly sorry for the situation and at least ended up moving me to a row with more legroom). Other than this, I was extremely disappointed with this experience and how it was handled."

Prós: "They have a huge selection of movies"
Contras: "They do not have gluten free options"

Prós: "Nothing, I missed my flight bc of lack of paperwork and information from the crew"

Prós: "Left on time, seemed to have a little more leg room than on previous flights. Experienced some air turbulence, but not sure pilot could have done anything about it. Delayed refreshments, but the attendants still managed to serve everyone."
Contras: "Seemed to take a long time for luggage to arrive; not sure what problem was. Not sure why we had to claim our luggage, only to turn it in again right away."

Prós: "It was a flight, it got me from point A to point B, but everything in between could've been much better."
Contras: "When first boarding the plane, the person I was with tried to close the shade on the window, the with frame and the first 2 pieces of glass popped out. We notified the flight attendant and his response was "can you stick your arm out the window and wave? No... ok you're fine" then we were notified the bathrooms in the middle of the plane were out of order and we could only use the bathrooms at the rear of the plane. There was no WiFi, and the audio system for the on board movies wasn't working. The flight attendants were only giving out cups of beverages and not the full can, which isnt a big deal but still looks bad on the airline considering everywhere flight with American has handed out full cans of soda. The perception was American dropped the ball on the his plane, and just didn't care to do the necessary maintenance. For the his head priced paid for the his hehe see tickets I would've expected better from a reputable airline. Needless to say we were a little disappointed."
