This unfortunate situation has influenced this review greatly particularly because this wasn’t a 2 hour flight but a long haul one."

Contras: "I bought economy class ticket! (I have a printout ticket as proof!) When I went to the airport i had a VERY UNPLEASANT surprise. I had a 23kg bag. Bording stuart said that my ticket is ECO LIGHT class and I don't have the right to any baggage. Worst thing of all was that the reason of my trip to Paris was my sister's graduation and half of the baggage was my formal wear and other half were presents for my sister! Your lack of transparency ruined one in lifetime special event- MY SISTER'S GRADUATION. I am very glad that you asked me for my opinion because I am using my free time to demand full refund, even tough the damage is much bigger than the cost of the ticket and it's irreplaceable."

This is the second time in a year that I have had to spend hours of time in an attempt to cancel a flight and have lost the full ticket cost because of all your terms and conditions and fine (=unfindable, unreadable) print. The lack of transparency regarding baggage fees is outrageous. I have had to pay hundreds of dollars in such fees after having had no such notice - and no inkling - that that would be the case. We call this a "racket" in the United States."

Contras: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Contras: "Entertainment was dated and poor in function. Our bags were 99 dollars each and we’re both lost and didn’t arrive. I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Contras: "the connection flights was the worse! The gate was changed in Amsterdam 3 times! From D82 to C6 and then to C11. The distance between B82 and C was 20-30 minutes walk. No rushing was needed though, the flight was delayed for 1:30h and after we all boarded a further delay was announced. I will never fly with KLM."

Contras: "Flight was first delayed 1 hour then jumped to 3 more hours. Gate was constantly changing so we relaxed at a nearby gate. Never heard a boarding call. Then there's a security check right before you get on the plane so we have to throw away bottles of water that were bought in the terminal after passing initial security. Ridiculous!! How are we to keep hydrated on a 10 hour flight without being able to bring water on the plane?? The flight attendants should, at least, come around with cups of water. Service on LAN was excellent 10 years ago but has deteriorated when it changed to LATAM."

Contras: "LATAM made me pour out all the water at the gate that I purchased on the concourse after security. they also made me throw away my food. I am very displeased that I had to throw out $15+ dollars of food and drink and that I had zero water when getting on an 11 hour flight. that's outrageous."

Contras: "Charger $190 for a second check in bag of 7kg. Extremely rude staff. Terrible food. Never fly with them again!"

Contras: "The second half of of our flight was in an Airbus A321. I’m just under 6’ tall and I had to ride with my knees firmly against the seat in front with my legs spread open. Super uncomfortable. I’m already dreading my flight home"

Contras: "Hidden baggage fees. Extra fee to check in a bag was not disclosed at the moment I purchased my ticket. This airline doesn't even provide water to passengers. It's as stingy as it gets among all other airlines I've flow and value for money is poor."

Prós: "I LOVE that LATAM does not book its flights solid: I love that they leave some empty seats and breathing room-- it makes all the difference in the world. I love that the bathrooms have full length mirrors, hand towelettes, and are well maintained. Most of all, I love how compassionate,patient, and accomodating the flight attendants are."
Contras: "I would have liked for there to be more vegetarian choices-- healthier foods, more veggies, more fruits, rice, less meat. It would be nice to have real milk or cream instead of powder for the coffee; and honey instead of sugar."

Contras: "Terrible terrible food- no TV (really? in 10 years flying to Colombia this was a first) seats were very uncomfortable, no room to move the legs, the seats were super old no room at all. I have traveled with LATAM before and I had good experiences, with no complains. But the flight from Bogota to Miami on may 29th was mediocre and it seems longer than it was. That plane should be used for shorter flights and not a 4 hour international flight. I am not expecting first class seats and 5 course meals. But for the same price I could have used other airlines."

NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME TO MAKE RIGHT OR SOMEHOW FIX THE MESS YOU GUYS CREATED"

Prós: "all family with children should be place in the back together"
Contras: "screaming children and the way the were boarded . it seemed to me they were going to be place together instead the were seated all over the plane. also you don't give sugar to children. give them dry fruit or bananas if so . they live in Peru there i plenty of fruits. thinking before acting. i guess is a man that made this choices"

Contras: "They said , the are not responsable for my personal items, this is not acceptable"

Contras: "Latam could not link with American Airlines. It was like I had two separate tickets even though they had a code share with AA. I couldn't get a boarding pass across airlines and my seat assignments were a real problem."

Contras: "Why offer so much flights to Cusco and then cancel it the night before? Almost give us a heart attack. Had to place an international call to their US office from Lima to find out what our next morning flight will be at 11pm!"

Prós: "Always professional and friendly!"
Contras: "Didn't have time to get any in air food or beverages due to rough air. Not their fault!"

Prós: "This was my first time flying on LATAM and I will definitely use them again. Service and crew was very good."
Contras: "The only thing I didn't like about the plane was my seat. I'm a small guy and I felt the seat was a bit tight."

Contras: "We were never informed of our gate (not on boarding pass, not on display board at airport). After searching the entire terminal, the gate didn't have the flight listed either, but we eventually identified a floor sign with the airline logo and found our flight. In flight entertainment screens were not very responsive to touch, and would have been better with a list of movies/tv/games, instead of 1 show per tap since the screen was iffy on responsiveness."

Prós: "Everything was fine and no problems at all with the flight or service. Good value for money."
Contras: "Food was average. I got a chicken sandwich. It was cold (meant to be a cold sandwich) and not particularly tasty. Also, there was limited range of drinks. I asked for tomato juice and this was not available."

Prós: "Magazine was nice ! And cheap flight. Safe and clean."
Contras: "We couldn't Check out baggage and relax before the flight until 1:30pm for a 3pm flight. It was a bit exhausting waiting."

Contras: "There was no food between the two meals on an 8 hour flight. I had a flight attendant rudely tell me that there is nothing to offer until the next meal. No one reached out to me about the horrible flight and comments I made from the last flight."

Prós: "There is a nothing to mention that was memorable or comfortable."
Contras: "I asked for an upgrade as we are on our honeymoon. The ground staff only wanted to get us on the plane and not try in anyway to recognize us. Our seats were very poor quality, you should immediately replace them! I would have rather stood than sit on the flight. The in flight entertainment is so poor. Absolutely disappointing especially with the head sets not working because of poor ports of connection. The food was absolutely tragic. You should fire your catering company. I expect more from your airline and I was disappointed all the way through. I hope you can provide my wife and I better service and an upgrade when we fly back to Washington DC on Flight AF 0054 from CDG to IAD. I work in the luxury hotel sector, and even the door men and room attendants have more autonomy to wow our guests. Flying AF does not want me to spend any more money with your airline in the future."

Contras: "I didn't get to board, ended up spending $2,400.00 over and above the $980.00 that I spent booking the initial ticket. I was not informed when I booked the ticket that when you transit through 2 schengen countries, you need a transit document. I was informed about it at then airport. Not only did I miss my flight, I had to book for the next day at a outrageous price. SUPER BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE...BOTH KAYAK and PRICELINE. Will never recommend you guys to anyone."

Contras: "The boarding process was horrible and it involved climbing down steep stairs from the air tunnel to the tarmac to board a bus that took us to a far distance where the plane was parked. Had to new walk in the sweltering heat to the plane can climb up steep stairs in the heat! We were now kept in the plane for another hour with no aircondotion. It was boiling hot in there. We had to use the safety manuals to fan ourselves. We eventually left late and got to Lagos one and half hours we were meant to get there. Lastly not all the luggage arrived. Two days into my arrival and I am yet to get all my luggage. It was truly a horrible experience which was echoed by fellow passengers."

Prós: "Sometimes you get surprised, with this specific flight, we had an excellent young and perfect cabin crew. Thanks, Joon!"

Contras: "Another Air France company, with their motto: We Don't Care. Ground staff was rude, no good food onboard and have to pay for it. Entertainment is your device, but you can't download the app to use it."

Contras: "Disorganization which led to not being able to pre-purchase baggage. Then bad info at airport which led to multiple trips through security trying to make weight on a bag that should have been checked but was told didn't need to. Ended up missing flight, having to rebook at full fare and no one knows where the bag that was checked is. STAY AWAY!"

Prós: "Crew very professional and nice food Boarding process well organized"
Contras: "Poor seat comfort in business class and no entertainment for a flight lasting more than 1h"

Contras: "Premium economy seats do not recline, only slouch. One of our 2 seats wouldn't slouch more than half way. The entertainment options are extremely sparse and the screens are 4:3 ratio, tiny, and of such poor quality that they look like laptop monitors from 1999."

Prós: "Always like Air France. They are in tune with keeping the traveler updated."
Contras: "Walked all over the terminal looking for signage for Croatia Airlines. Information services sent me to the right location, but it was marked Air France. I asked serval Air France employees for Croatia Air. None new that Air France was the CA carrier. Finally found one who bothered to look it up on her computer and low and behold, AF was the carrier!"

Prós: "full Meal service in coach , customer service , free wine , personal entertainment, power outlets , everything !"
Contras: "Bottom seat cushions could be a little more comfortable ."

Prós: "It was a 30min flight not much to say The crew on the ground really took care of us"

Prós: "Late, not enough legroom, smell from the toilet. Tiny TV screen, malfunctioning electronics, poorly maintained seats. Friendly crew! They looked tired, but they were still smiling while trying to keep passengers happy."

Contras: "Ran out of the (already not sufficient) salty crackers and, as the flight had been delayed, we had a one packet of cracker 'lunch' at noon... the flight really should have had a sandwich or at least something slightly more substantial."

Contras: "I think I caught a stomach bug on one of the 3 legs of this route. More likely on last 2, i.e. Mumbai to RDU, as I fell sick almost 10-12 hrs after my last flight meal."
