Contras: "Impossible to figure out what to do in Toronto at Canadian Customs. You move from secure to unsecure then back to secure. It’s a mess and nobody tells you what to do or where to go. Picture process took 4 times. Nobody tells you that you have to transfer your own bags from Delta to West Jet. I even asked in a Toronto and they said no and nobody in Atlanta told me to collect my bags. So bags never made it until the next AM. The West Jet rep was very good and located the bags and they were delivered as promised. You should provide 3 page detailed instructions on how to handle Toronto. I am a seasoned traveler by the way. I’ve never seen anything worse. I could go on and on."

And leaving in the early morning it was too dark and they convinced us it was unsafe and a 35 min walk. It’s def would be that long of a walk in Mexico since we had no idea where we were going."

Contras: "the older stuardess on my flight from Cancun to Atlanta was very misinformed- told me my carry on wouldn't fit in the over head bin... it did. Told me I had to check my duty free liquor.. I didn't. Told me I couldn't bring all of my liquor in to the US... I could. I just kept saying ok to her just to shut her up, but she ensued with her comments and wrong info as if I don't travel as often as I do. Perhaps she was attempting to be helpful, but it came off as obnoxious and rude especially since she was wrong on every accord. Humbleness and customer service training would do her very good. All other DELTA staff have been great."

Contras: "Didn't understand why I had to wait until getting to the gate to have a seat assigned when I purchased tickets several months ago. Since I was in the last boarding group, Had to check in my bag since it was already full, had fragile stuff in there and hoping everything is ok. it is what it is. Not anyone's fault but disappointing to have to do when I didn't plan on checking in and going to pick up at the baggage claim. This is what i wanted to avoid in the first place. could have at least offered to let us pick them up as we deplaned and not baggage claim!"

Contras: "LEX to ATL to GRU did NOT happen because the LEX flights were delayed to the point of missing the ATL connection. While Delta re-booked me on United, my flight arrived 3 hours later than scheduled (so transportation plans had to change), my bag did not successfully move from the Delta flight to the United flight (and was thus delayed in getting to GRU) AND once the bag was received, 4 shirts had been stolen. While a delay/theft claim has been filed with United, this could all have been avoided if the Delta flights had been on time."
Prós: "Flight itself was mostly fine. Adequate overhead space. Boarding process ok."
Contras: "Adequate legroom but seat space so tight could not even reach things dropped on the floor. Seats are HARD! Some USB sockets didn't work. Entertainment system is old and clunky, often didn't respond to touches. Crew was grudgingly OK, didn't seem to want to be there to help. Food was a disaster. Special meals were all wrong. Food brought was mostly terrible."

Contras: "On this Delta flight operated by Virgin Atlantic one of us was unable to check in or change our seats. You think you are getting Delta but everything must be done through VA. VA bag weights are less than Delta and the seat was incredibly cramped. We both had to sit with our legs bowed to the side as the seat ahead was so close. For nine hours we were cramped and could not sleep due to only be able to squeeze into one position. To get into the seat I put on leg in and then sat on the armrest and then brought my other leg up and then lowered my but into the seat. I am not even 6 feet tall and had this issue. So due to the difficult online check-in and seat selection and to the cramped seats we will never fly Virgin Atlantic again."

After debating with customer servinge several times and being forced to wait in line after being told things were fixed several time we had to threaten to record conversations and had someone call American Airlines headquarters and finally was able to get in the flight the same night. We at work be point were laughed at by an American Airlines customer service professional. I had purchased upgraded seats since I’m over 6 feet tall and they were not able to accommodate on the new flight, the flight was horrible and I had ton stand up every hour to make I the whole 12 hours."

Contras: "Tight connection from our previous flight yet the counter folks were rude and rushed us. My daughter is obviously 7 months pregnant. Because our connecting flight left milwaukee over an hour late, we had no time to even grab a sandwich, no problem we will buy food on the plane. Wrong! The food is was gone so quickly that by the time they got to us, they were out of everything. Oh did I mention we also had 3 children ages 2, 7, and 9. Oh yes and the entertainment? Small screens mounted on the ceiling of the plane. How about updating your equipment?? Plane was old. No USB to charge your phone and stream from their App. Terrible. We own a 2nd home in Maui and travel there twice per year. Looking at other options."

Contras: "Since check in in São Paulo was a complete chaos. There were only 2 people helping on check in (in machines) and these people were still not helping people (like me) with questions about on how to do check in in those machines. On the other hand to dispatch the bags there were almost 8 attendants to receive the bags. Ridiculous! I’ve tried calling American Airlines and Latam several times to assign a seat for me and they swore there were only middle seats but I know how airlines work to make extra money on these seats. At the end, they only gave me a middle seat option and I had to take I.t of course. On the plane I realized there were dozens of empty seats and yet they made sure not give them to me or anyone else. Unbelievable! Unfortunately I still have to use AA on my way back to Brazil. After this, I’ll chose another airlines for sure. Also, the 3,4,3 arrangement is ridiculous: there’s no corridor space making people touching you everything someone passes by your seat. And boy! Those seats are so uncomfortable and there’s no way to incline the chair so you can even have a little rest (because it’s impossible to even sleep on those seats). The crew were simply doing their jobs! No pleasure! No smile! No engaging with anyone unfortunately! They looked miserable and I asked for water and the flight attendant NEVER brought me anything. Seriously! Water is free!"

Contras: "Iberia does not have a check in counter at lax. All flights are operated by American, but ticket issued by Iberia. American could not locate my ticket and as a result I missed my flight. Iberia's 1800 number would not cooperate to release or rebook my ticket until a full day and 3 trips to the airport later when I made a manager speak to an American airline rep to explain and resolve what should be done with my unused ticket. Unbelievably inefficient and rude."

Contras: "Film selection was subpar, and had no subtitles available. Flight safety information video so unbelievably boring. Flight crew repeated all instructions at least 3 times including video interruptions. What is the point of having in flight entertainment if crew will interrupt said entertainment at least once every 10 min to remind you you are still in turbulent air? Do they honestly think the passengers forgot? We are in the plane too! I understand they have to be careful due to liability but this airline is ridiculous. Believe it or not customers do not like being treated like children. Would not recommend to others or fly this airline again. Also, the lunch was awful even by airline standards. Btw the airline was avianca not AA. kayak must have messed up or they are owned by AA. AA is great and I recommend them wholeheartedly but Avianca is awful. Stay away if you can afford to do so."
Prós: "The boarding has become much clearer and efficient since the new system is deployed (instead of calling each level, you just see the boarding group no.)"
Contras: "The seat is cramped to its maximum. Leg room is no longer a thing. Entertainment system is lacking... sigh..."

Contras: "Attendants made a big deal about expected significant turbulence...enough to say "now if your last chance to leave the plane" and suspend final beverage service. Turbulence was not bad at all and all they offered was water and juice after the initial service. Crew was short with passengers and movie selections were pretty lame. I was interested in the last movie, but it was shut off half way through."

Contras: "I did not fly I lost my flight they had a problem with the airplane on my flight from brasilia to sao paulo so I arrived late lost the connection to my other flight from Sao Paulo to LAX. Also they lost my luggage. LATAM and American Air Lines doesnt know where my luggage is. I arrived at my LAX 12 hours after. They still dont know where my luggage is"
Contras: "I had my reservation cancelled despiste numerous phone calls. The flight was operated by AA, and they told me I wasn't on the flight, but after many phone calls LATAN assured me I was booked on the flight. When I got to the airport, I was not allowed to board my direct flight from GRU to LAX, instead I was sent to Miami then Charlestown , I took me an extra 12 hours to get home. I lost a day of work. Who's going to reimburse me for that ???"
Contras: "The crew definitely needs to be changed. There needs to be hostesses who are more attentive and actually care about their passengers."

Prós: "The flight itself was as good as expected: Attentive crew and competent pilot, good enough food, comfortable enough (for coach) seats, and clean airplane. The seats could be made to recline a bit more but nobody seems to be doing it for coach class."
Contras: "The flight was delayed 30 minutes causing me to lose the connecting flight home by about 5 minutes There was no effort from United to help me to get the second flight on time or from the crew on that one to delay it enough for me to arrive. They suggested I waited 9 hours for the next available flight or to get one by AA in Reagan Airport in 3 hours. They told me that transportation to that airport would not be reimbursed and would cost between 20 and 40 dollars. I didn't know the airports were that far apart and the one-hour taxi drive cost me 80 dollars. From Sao Paulo to Washington, things went as well as expected. Once landed everything was horrible."
Prós: "With the amount of bad press that United has, I did not expect much. However, flight was on time, everybody was polite, movie selection was excellent (several classics, box office hits, comedies etc, they even appropriately put "Die hard" under Winter Wonderland), food was good and salted caramel ice cream for dessert was a very nice touch."
Contras: "Tiny seats. My God, would it hurt to have TWO arm rests? I ended up sitting for 8h crooked to the right, just to avoid touching the guy beside me."

Contras: "Well constancy gate changes in the airport to getting on a hot plane with no air going, then to waiting an hour for the plane to start because of the power cable (still with no air) crew didn’t give us any update from the very first one, all of a sudden we are moving, but only shortly because then we waited another 30 minutes to actually take off. Once in the air it took forever to get water, just pretzels for snacks and a horrible attitude by the staff. DO NOT DLY WITH THEM."
Contras: "Everything. I will never fly with United again. I will pay more money for another airline which respects people and their money."
Prós: "Making the decision to never fly United again"
Contras: "Our bags had to be re checked at a 20 minute lay over. It bags didn’t even come out until after our connecting fight had departed. We were stick in Houston for a night and both missed work. We will never fly United again"
Prós: "Flight was fine. Food OK but to be expected. Entertainment good as per usual on United."
Contras: "My least favorite thing about flying to Dulles is getting on those ridiculous people movers to go to customs and immigration s. Creates a larger cluster of people at immigration and something else I have to wait on. Also - why is GRU already using buses for boarding 787s? The new terminal just opened three years ago-- missed opportunity."
Prós: "excellent service. needed assistance since Dad could not walk too well. airport got him a chair and he made his flight with no problem"

Prós: "Everybody was very nice and the woman at the gate was very efficient at getting everyone assigned and through and up to date."
Contras: "Quarters were just very cramped. The seat wasn't quite padded enough so my hips began to hurt."

Prós: "The actual flight from FLL to SFO was uneventful. The pilot was kind enough to point out when we were about to fly over the Grand Canyon which I appreciated."
Contras: "Upon landing at SFO our plane waited on the tarmac for over an hour. Several passengers missed their connecting flights. We were given no good explanation for the wait."
Contras: "The default on the browser defaulted to April 9 when I was actually booking the ticket for April 2. So I had to forfeit the $317 ticket. I use kayak a lot - can anything be down ?"
Contras: "Cramped airplane, lousy terminal, mediocre flight attendants, cramped seats. Is that enough?"
Contras: "All of us passengers sat in the plane for 2 hours while 17 ppl were removed and then seats resat. This massive overbooking on the part of the airlines, caused me to miss my connecting flight and my connecting train, and miss a whole day of my costly vacation. On top of this, we had to pay for changes to the connecting train (a cost we weren't expecting to incur.) This flight in the end has turned out to be one of the most costly and uncomfortable flying experiences that I've ever had. I am hoping that either Kayak, Lufthansa or the operating airlines, United, will step up and make recompense for this monetary loss. Thank you, Sarah Minnich firstname.lastname@example.org"
Prós: "There were maybe two of the flight attendants. Who weren't rude. The rest well, I guess didn't like there jobs? I lost all my money for my first flight, because i was over 4 hours late. When i purchased a ticket from cheapo air, the person helping me was so nice. Unlike United airlines, or Viama. When i missed my flight that i paid $1,300.00, United said they'd give me another ticket for $4,000? This was a one time offer to redeem my $1,300 Viama said $10,500? I will only buy my tickets from cheapo air from now on."
Contras: "The flight attendants are very snotty, 2 out of the 18 I encountered were polite. The rest acted like they hated their jobs, and all the passengers. When you travel to another country they should have at least one person who speaks English. Can't really say much for the food, essentially requesting a vegetarian meal was out of the question, so i just starve. Drink some watered down booze, take a few dramamine and sleep. The layovers are ridiculous. 14 hours, 8 hours 4 hours? Good thing God made Beer and pizza."
Contras: "No space for even one carryon and I was told that the luggage space is not associated with my seat. People have more than 2 can bring them on board yet I have to check in and my valuable items were inside"
Prós: "Fast travel and easy boarding"
Contras: "Seating is uncomfortable and no free WiFi"
Prós: "I really appreciate them getting us there safely the crew was fine and it was nice to have tvs on each seat complimentary it really helps having something else to take you away mentally when physically your crammed together and it's really not comfortable or pleasant. I think the staff and crew were just fine though it's just flying has gotten to be something I don't enjoy and want to avoid as much as possible it's that way with most airlines though I think her blue is a little better on seat space and usually always has the tvs but yeah they are limited where they fly and it I is just expensive and uncomfortable to fly I think."

Prós: "Aircraft with old decoration. Could not see a single smile from the crew."

Contras: "I arrived in Mexico on Monday, and I've yet to receive my luggage. The representatives keep reassuring me that my luggage is still in Houston and that it will be on the next flight. This is such an overwhelming experience because I don't know what is really going on."

Contras: "They cancel trip many times! When i request the voucher for hotel because the plain dont wait the delay was very ruff to give the same."

Contras: "Some problem in the back bathroom made the plane smell very badly. Had to cover my mouth and nose with my shirt. Smell particularly bad on ground and of course we didn't take off for an hour after boarding. Third flight I've taken on united in two weeks that was delayed."
Contras: "You delayed my flight and notified with me through email but did not provide any solution whatsoever for the connecting flight I was about to lose. Had I not checked my email when I did and taken immediate action, I wouldn't have made it to my final destination when I NEEDED TO BE. It's simply inconsiderate on your behalf."
