I lost $ buying, because custom in Doha had to take bottle. Its not right. Qatar custom could see in Belgrade and didn't tell me and the same in the Duty Free shop."

Contras: "At Mumbai airport, during check-in I was told that my carry on bag plus personal item together should weigh not more than 7kgs!! I have never had any airline actually weigh my personal item (laptop backpack) before this journey. Eventually I ended up stuffing my check-in bags with everything I was carrying in my carry on bag before I was allowed to check in. The weird thing is, I was never told about this rule on my journey from the US to India."

Prós: "Too tired after almost 24 hours traveling. No complaints."

Prós: "It is so far a cut above the American carriers. There’s no way to compare them, because Qatar Airways is so far superior. The seats are far more comfortable and larger, the amount of legroom is far superior, you have much more personal space, and the craft is cleaner. Flight Attendants are fantastic! They provide excellent personal care, and are there for everything. They are supremely polite and courteous, and bring things in mediately. Very often anticipating your needs. This is what flying used to be like on United and American. But those people have completely forgotten what service is. Qatar is a 5 star airline. United and American, to my view, are 2 star at best."

Prós: "The food"

Contras: "Had an 11hr delay overall, 3.5hrs sitting on the tarmac only to be told to disembark for dinner at the airport. Then told that we won't be getting on until 7am the next day, but only really started boarding at 8:30am. By the time we were told about the reschedule to the next morning, it was too late to get a hotel room (too far away) and was told that I could use a 'Quiet Lounge' at the airport (which wasn't quiet). While waiting to board at 7am the next day, ground staff told us that they had to change the plane so there would be a further delay. On boarding, we discovered that it was the SAME PLANE."

Contras: "The seats were very close together. With the tray folded out it was right against me without being extended. Leg room was cramped."

Prós: "The flight got delayed for 4.5 hours. We didnt receive any call, sms or email informing us about the delay. We went to the airport for checkin only to discover that it was delayed! No justification or any reason were given to us. We are travelling with a baby. We had to get a taxi to return to our home and return back to the airport after 4.5 hours. Called qatar airways and send them a xomplaint email. No one cared to answer. The worst flight ever. Will never go with qatar airways anymore"

Prós: "Flight was on time. Excellent price. When comparing the flight from Manila to Doha and Doha to Philadelphia. The flight to Philadelphia was excellent,superior due to the crew and aircraft."

Prós: "Latam could not issue a boarding pass at Santiago. This led to long waiting at Brazilian immigration checkpoint. Not having a Visa kept me.from entering the immigration and security wont let me in without a boarding pass. security supervisor had to contact Emirates ground staff who escorted me."

Contras: "When checking in, they were quite slow and they didn't seem like they wanted to be helpful. Some crew members were not as helpful as when we were going to Brazil, and even the way they communicated the rules was not always very nice, but not rude either."

Contras: "Boarding experience was cumbersome and overly complicated. After going through the whole security screening process to enter the departures area (I boarded in Singapore), the whole security process is performed again to get to the gate. Why do I and my carry-on luggage need to be checked twice? Once at the gate, all passengers are herded like sheep into an area that has insufficient seats for the number of passengers, so many are left to stand or sit on the floor. If the airline wants to use a plane that carries 500+ passengers, then use a gate that can accommodate that number."

Prós: "Travelled economy and it was very good. Would love to try business class sometime. Staff excellent food very good."

Prós: "I say that everything was good but overall "excellent" because it is hard to fly for hours upon hours and say that it was excellent. All considered, it was good while Emirates (compared to other carriers) is excellent. These huge airplanes are amazing!"
Contras: "Flying for hours upon hours but nobody can do anything about that. Africa has a routine, including this flight, of filling the cabin full of chemicals - for insects? Prepare to cover your head and face!"

Contras: "The customer service. After the meals came I pressed my button for assistance and was not attended to at all, there was over an hr before our flight was due to land. I didn't want to move from my seat as the person beside looked busy at work and I didn't know where I would go because I couldn't see any flight attendants anywhere."

Prós: "I ordered Asian vegetarian food but was given normal vegetarian food. However, it wasn't a big problem. Apart from that, everything was fine."

Prós: "The entertainment is excellent- so many choices. I also really appreciated having a plug and a port in the house seat, I could keep my devices charged and feel free to use them as much as I liked. The attendants were friendly and helpful the entire flight."
Contras: "The food was not amazing, for a near 17 hour flight, I think 1 more snack would have been welcome. Also a personal bottle of water would have been great. I had to ask for water several times and I noticed lots of other passengers doing the same."

Contras: "I didnt like that i had to sleep on metal chairs at Maldives outside airport. My layover was 11hrs and 35 mins and enirates didnt accommodate me at all during the wait. Not even a meal voucher. Talked to a guy named Ishmael Shinad and he was beyond useless. Wasnt the happiest person on flight."

Prós: "Lovely online and phone customer service reps. Comfy flight with good entertainment (tv)."
Contras: "My baggage (x3) was delayed 3 days, which was frustrating to say the least. I received no apology email or flight discount/refund/coupon, etc."

This time recently, I chose Emirates airline and was impressed by their overall offering. I'm now converted and will fly Emirates ALWAYS!!"

They just towed it to the gate late! No announcements were made as to the lateness of the flight until the departure time had actually passed."

Prós: "Easy to check in on the app. The Qantas crew as usual are friendly and helpful, and entertainment is pretty good."
Contras: "Unfortunately we picked the seats by the toilet, which made sleeping an issue. The space between the seats is quite cramped, very hard to get comfortable for a rest."

Prós: "Friendly staff. Clean and tidy. Fast and reliable. Grand cup of tea too. Would recommend and would fly again. Different Safety demo got my attention."

Contras: "Transfer at Melbourne was erratic. But I think after renovation it should be ok. Otherwise perfect"

Prós: "Crew was reasonably friendly."
Contras: "Lack of space made it impossible to sleep. Aisle was dangerously dark. Would not surprise me if people experience falls. I know there is a trade off between sleep-friendly darkness and safety for those walking in the cabin. I think you err too much on the side of darkness"

Contras: "our ESTA registration has been cancelled, our application for the US travel visa have been rejected. We would like to have refund"

Prós: "Great service, great food"

Prós: "Flying to Qantas always enjoyable - staff always make for pleasant journey. Always happy to fly Qantas."
Contras: "One negative experience was that there was only 1hr 30mins between connecting flights. Between departing international flight - picking up luggage/toilet stop and clearing Immigration/Customs then catching bus between Qantas international domestic terminals we were racing to catch flight. As we arrived Qantas domestic terminal our names were being called over along with info the plane was awaiting our arrival. In my experience 2hrs is minimum time between connecting flights - otherwise good experience."

Contras: "Do you really need to be provided with a meal at 11pm just after departure? A decent snack pack would be a better get, and allow people to get to sleep."

Prós: "Friendly, helpful and professional crew which which always makes for a better overall experience."
Contras: "The crew seemed to have to spend much of their time as IT consultants assisting with iPads."

Contras: "Undisclosed charges for bags and a check on that lasted over 30 minutes and my entire family ogn6 people were scattered throughout plane with absolutely no effort to put young kids next to parents"

Contras: "Probably the space we need more room, so we could stretch our legs and be more comfy!"

Contras: "I've flown a lot of different business class flights in my time and these are the narrowest I've ever seen. I am not overweight but I felt very restricted in these seats. Add to the narrow seats is the design of the seat and armrests themselves and you don't have much space at all. No way I was going to be able to work on my laptop in this LATAM business class seat."

Contras: "Lack of food!! LATAM you are doing it wrong"

Prós: "I liked almost all!!!"
Contras: "The sandwich (cool meal)... The may improve it..."

Prós: "The seats are comfortable, the attention of the crew is great."
Contras: "1 hour delay with no email or other notification. Flight number changed with no notification until check in. Electronic check in system was not working twice, perhaps due to international minors, had to wait in line in order to check in. The boarding pass for our connection from Rio to Miami was not given to us in Sao Paulo when we had to manually check in. As a result, we had to exit the secured area in Rio to go check in manually again for our connection and then go through security and customs again."

Contras: "Flight delayed well over an hour, Airport stuff unhelpful, Very below average."

Contras: "Three gate changes, the flight was delayed and the luggage was left outside in the rain. Recommend waterproofing when flying with Latam."

Prós: "there was way too little leg room and the seats went back too far. I love LAN and LATAM because the crew and cudtomer service are always EXCELLENT."
Contras: "Standing too long before boarding at 2am!"

Contras: "The flight at first had a 3 HOUR delay do to a "mechanical breakdown". We were told that they were going to bring another airplane from Rio de Janeiro. After the 3 hours passed they were only announcing in Portuguese to board the original plane. They never changed planes or provided a clear explanation to the passengers. Many of us refused to board. This was one of the worse experiences I have ever had. The staff was disrespectful and would not help us. We ended up taking another flight until the following night!!"

Contras: "Latam The website of Latam is useless. The services for people in broadcoast is so difficult that almost impossible (email, facebook, telephone, etc) In my case, i was in Africa and couldn´t change my ticket. My brother had to change it from Argentina."

Contras: "I upgraded to business class and the seat felt like a cage. The flight attendants were much more interested in talking to each other than helping a paying customer. Terrible customer service with bitchy attitudes from a bunch of men."

Contras: "Delays. Poor communication. Disappointment that you can now count on BA to be worse than just about all other airlines."

Contras: "Not only do you now have to buy food and drink, by the back of the plane they’ve always run out (our flight was not even particularly full). Flight was delayed an hour - I’ve taken 4 BA flights in the last 5 days and every one has been delayed by at least one hour. No longer worth the price."

Contras: "Plane was older and in poor repair. Our air vents and over head lights had been completely removed for our row - so we could not read or knit as others could. Seats are far to small and close together to allow for any real rest or sleep."

Contras: "Nothing extra - no legroom, no snacks, no drinks. EVERYTHING is an upcharge. The crew spends the whole flight running credit cards for a coke or a pack of cheese."

Contras: "No complimentary drinks. And a stewardess had no idea which countries’ passengers needed to fill out a travel card for UK. I wasted all that time only to find out I did not have to."

Contras: "This is by far the worst business class experience ever. Really bad. Never seen business seat so tight. 2x4x2 configuration in business is just not acceptable."

Contras: "Charged us 1/2 adult fare for lap infant. Lied to us we had assigned seats. Would not let us check in online. Lied at terminal we had bulkhead with area for infant. Incompetence and lying at several points. We have flown on multiple airlines with infant without any of these problems. VERY poor airlines."

Prós: "Had to pay for water on an international flight. That felt like buckle and diming."

Contras: "Boarding process was confusing because it started so early 50+ minutes prior, but our boarding passes said otherwise, 30 minutes prior."

Prós: "Great crew. Super nice and helpful. Plenty of entertainment options."
Contras: "Boarding was ok"

Contras: "Boarding was delayed but no communication on why or when so we're all just standing around. At least if we have some idea on timing we can use the bathroom or buy a snack while we were waiting. Communication needs improvement."

Contras: "So jammed in the damn airplane you couldn't move!!! Stop the caring about the money so much and start getting back to customer service. What a concept"

Contras: "The plane was half comfortable. We were charged for everything. Water, etc."

Contras: "I feel it is very cheap of the airline to charge for all food and beverages during the flight. A small snack and complimentary water/soda/juice would have gone a long way."

Prós: "Liked that we were on time and boarding was organized. The food was excellent considering it was cabin food. Like the fact the crew kept asking if we wanted water, juice through out the flight. They were very attentive and quite nice."
Contras: "Seats are too close together and there is not much leg room or elbow room. Not too many movie choices as the majority we saw on the flight to London. We experienced turbulence during the flight and there was no communication from the pilot found that a bit odd. Just to set everyone's mind at ease I expected something to be said from the cockpit."

Prós: "Food was tasty"
Contras: "I was not able to select my seat until 24 hours before the flight without paying, which I think is ridiculous. Once I checked in 24 hours before, I was still not able to select my seat. The problem was related to me booking through a partner airline. The partner (American Airlines) couldn't help me because they couldn't access the BA seats. And BA couldn't help me on the phone to select my seat for some other reason (I can't remember). I had to wait until I got to JFK a few hours before the flight, by which time all the seats were filled and I was stuck in a middle seat. Basically, I think there needs to be better communication or coordination between BA and their partner airlines to help customers before the flight, and also it is absurd to charge $35 to choose their seat."

Prós: "Across to entertainment helped pass the time"
Contras: "On an 11 + hour flight it's extremely difficult if not impossible to get any sleep when you can barely move your seat back. Try removing some seats ...yes, I know impossible"

Prós: "All was fine ......cabin crew, pilot updates, seat comfort . Keeping hydrated is a well-known health fact. Why BA does not offer free water wa a shock to me . Yes a kind steward let me supplied with tap water, but I find it appalling that the corporate office does. It consider customers health important."

Prós: "Many things including the seat space and less crowded flight"
Contras: "Cost. One way close to 2000 USD"

Prós: "my luggage was lost and it took 3 days to get it back I had no clothes , so I had no choice to buy new clothes"

Contras: "Horrible experiences Seat are uncomfortable. Spacing to tight until the passenger in back row of me did not allow me to move pull the seat back. I reported. Flight attendant moved me to the business seat. But flight attendant crews treated me like a refugee did not offer any service even a water"

Prós: "The seates were nice and plush. The journey wasn't bumpy at all, and the pilot was funny. He made a fun comment saying 'he had someplace to be in New York so he will get us there as quickly as possible.' :P The crew was friendly and sweet."
Contras: "There was no food ! I assumed a flight from the west coast to the east coast would atleast provide with some food ! But nada. It bugged me more because I had to catch a another flight from new York to London. Other than that, guess it was pretty okay."

Prós: "Good Service and acceptable food quality."
Contras: "Cramped economy seats w/AV box crowded foot space!"

Prós: "Great flight, Schedule is very practical , comfortable"
Contras: "Check in personnel was very slow, and ironically telling people to hurry at the gate while taking very long time to deal with them at the check in counters. Not very helpful or polite when asked for extra luggage shipping."
