Contras: "The airline demaged both of my completely new suitcases. They both had TSA approved locks. One of the suitcses has a missing wheel, another one ripped zipper and missing lock and it was wraped in plastic. A few items were missing from that bag."

Contras: "Crew members are waking up for lunch and breakfast but not for snacks and other beverages. We are feeling hungry later. we aren't knowing when they ll provide."

Prós: "It is so far a cut above the American carriers. There’s no way to compare them, because Qatar Airways is so far superior. The seats are far more comfortable and larger, the amount of legroom is far superior, you have much more personal space, and the craft is cleaner. Flight Attendants are fantastic! They provide excellent personal care, and are there for everything. They are supremely polite and courteous, and bring things in mediately. Very often anticipating your needs. This is what flying used to be like on United and American. But those people have completely forgotten what service is. Qatar is a 5 star airline. United and American, to my view, are 2 star at best."

Contras: "I get the safety thing with the window blinds but wish if it was 40 degrees outside they would let you close them until the plane takes off"

Contras: "They claimed they have free WiFi, but this is not true. Passengers has to pay if they want access to WiFi. Uncomfortable sitting and you cannot adjust it to a comfortable level. Crew keeps demanding sit need to be upright."

Contras: "Boarding staff give us wrong advice to make extra money from the passenger. They also pressurized us to decide quickly. our each check in baggage was over weight 1 KG or less than 1 KG due to faulty scale at home. Instead of giving us a choice or advice that you are allowed two more hand bags. They pressurized us to make one baggage over weight from all 7 bags and harassed us to do it quickly because they are closing counter in 20 minutes. That's how they charged me another $65. Also they lied on the counter that your seats are in a row but when i went into the plane our seats were separate. Lesson learned don't trust the person over the counter of Qatar airways."

Not having a Visa kept me.from entering the immigration and security wont let me in without a boarding pass. security supervisor had to contact Emirates ground staff who escorted me."

Prós: "In general, everything as expected, some crew members were even extra nice."
Contras: "When checking in, they were quite slow and they didn't seem like they wanted to be helpful. Some crew members were not as helpful as when we were going to Brazil, and even the way they communicated the rules was not always very nice, but not rude either."

Prós: "My flight left on time and from the moment I was greeted upon entering the A380 Airbus, I knew I was in for something very special. As prepared for departure, blankets and pillows were distributed amongst the passengers. Once in flight, dinner and in the morning, breakfast. And, throughout the night, the flight attendants attended to passenger requests for beverages and snacks. The plane was clean and, maybe I need to compliment my fellow passengers also, for the washrooms were clean and well maintained. We arrived on time and the trip seemed rather short with the entertainment of movies, news and inflight updates. Thanks again Emerates...you have brought back flying to it's original objective to give service and a safe means of travel. See you soon. Philip Dorn"

Prós: "Plane was almost full, had a spare seat in the middle. Meals were good. Staff were run off their feet but coped well."
Contras: "The flight from Brisbane to Dubai then to Barcelona was excellent compared to the return flight from Dubai. Dubai to Brisbane flight, seats were very uncomfortable, seat cushions were hard. Toilets ran out of paper and hand towels, I had to Inform a staff member. Cabin had a peculiar odour."

Contras: "I had a 14 hours layover in Dubai. I had called Emirates before booking this flight and they said they would issue a hotel and meals vouchers. Due to a mistake by an Emirates agents who was processing the visa application in Dubai, it was denied and an immigration head officer came and appologized to me and spoke to her. Emirates did not compensate me at all. They could have granted Emirates lounge access, meals, or simply book me a room at the airport hotel. I ended up sleeping for 14 hours on a chair due to their employee's fault"

Prós: "The plane was wonderful. Even in Economy, the seats were very comfortable with lots of room, both leg and seat. It felt like I was in Business Class of any other airline I've been on."
Contras: "My flight had a luggage limit of 30kg, which sounds good, until you find you pay per kilo, not per piece when you're over."

Prós: "The response and service of Airhostesses are outstanding. I have to mention specially the assistance their supervisor provided to me when I have felt a little breathlessness and her constant attention on me to ensure I am normal and comfortable. Unfortunately I do not remember her name. Thanks to her and her team I felt at home."

Contras: "The screen blacked out mid flight (on a 16 hr long flight!) and there was nothing anyone really tried to do to fix it except 'reset' which did nothing. Unfortunate this happened when the flight was so long."

The person printed the wrong boarding passes because they didn't know many details about domestic and international flights. There was also confusion about checking in the luggage between the domestic and international flights. A boarding pass from Dubai to Ahembadvad was not given at the New York airport."

Contras: "Amsterdam customs is the most disorganized I have ever seen. With the number of tourists entering the country you would think they would have done something about it. There were only 2 customs agents!! One for all passports and 1 for all passports. We were in the customs hall longer than we were in flight!"

Contras: "Flight delayed by one hour which meant I missed by train at Southampton by 10 minutes and subsequent bus connect home. Next bus would have been 2 hours later so 45 minute walk home from train station. Didn't bother with food offering, put off by that supplied from Hannover to Schiphol."

Contras: "Our flight was canceled from Amsterdam to Bordeaux and did not receive any direction and had to find alternate flights for ourselves with the personal expense of using our own cell phones. Then our luggage lost for 3 days. Not happy! We ended up flying from Toronto to Paris then to Bordeaux. Lost my upgrade money for seats. Now have to deal with KLM for refund!"

Prós: "Fortunately, the plane was not full, so people could spread out a bit to create extra room. The food was really good! (surprisingly)."
Contras: "KLM's new configuration for this type of plane made the seats even narrower than before. While leg room was reasonable, the 3 abreast seating meant a lot of discomfort, especially in the row right in front of the restroom."

Prós: "I fly delta this was run by KLM they weight all bags delta does not they don't take TSA preach Check. Delta does It was a free for all with check in and getting into plane"

Contras: "They can not retire these old Boeing 747's soon enough. Due to mechanical problems, our flight arrived at LAXfour and a half hours late and further problems with the cargo door caused an additional one hour delay of our take off."

Contras: "They don't come around with drinks very often on LATAM. We bought our startup supply at the airport. First drink round was two hours into the flight."

Contras: "Leg space. There was very little leg space. One hour before the flight departure they were already announcing 'last call' on the airport screens."

Contras: "After getting off the shuttle to board the plane via stairs, men at the bottom and top of the stairs both stopped everyone and refused anyone to board. We were stuck on the tarmac for around 2-3 minutes. No entertainment options during the flight. No free food. Only water."

Prós: "Crew good, disembarking slow."

Prós: "the crew was not friendly on boarding, or during the trip. I like it when they great you and say welcome aboard."
Contras: "long long line at check in... long line at the TSA late getting to the gate. Flight left an hour late did not meet my connecting fight no help in SP no ground crew for directions. long long line at customs then long line to rebook flight had a 7 hour layover in SP before Rio."

Prós: "Nice space in the aircraft and the crew was really nice too."

Contras: "The flight attendant kept talking all night with two passengers. I could hear them even with ear plugs. When I finally was able to sleep, she didnt wake me up for breakfast even when I especifically asked to be awakened. And than replied that she wasnt able to wake me. Awful service for executive."

Contras: "Look for alternatives. This airline used to be good, but they grew too much and now is really bad. Overall experience was very bad. Evaluate low cost competition. Today they are much better than LATAM"

Prós: "The leg place and reclining chair"

Contras: "offering some free snacks and soda (3 hour flight, other than water, everything else is charged). An online entertainment system that actually works."

Prós: "The entertainment options were good, my device connected immediately, and the movie started right away (while the boarding process was being completed)."

Contras: "I've flown a lot of different business class flights in my time and these are the narrowest I've ever seen. I am not overweight but I felt very restricted in these seats. Add to the narrow seats is the design of the seat and armrests themselves and you don't have much space at all. No way I was going to be able to work on my laptop in this LATAM business class seat."

Contras: "Lack of food!! LATAM you are doing it wrong"

Prós: "Said Paulo airport was chaos but flight was great"

Contras: "No entertainment. The airplane seems to be an older model."

Contras: "1 hour delay with no email or other notification. Flight number changed with no notification until check in. Electronic check in system was not working twice, perhaps due to international minors, had to wait in line in order to check in. The boarding pass for our connection from Rio to Miami was not given to us in Sao Paulo when we had to manually check in. As a result, we had to exit the secured area in Rio to go check in manually again for our connection and then go through security and customs again."

Contras: "Flight delayed well over an hour, Airport stuff unhelpful, Very below average."

Contras: "Three gate changes, the flight was delayed and the luggage was left outside in the rain. Recommend waterproofing when flying with Latam."

Prós: "there was way too little leg room and the seats went back too far. I love LAN and LATAM because the crew and cudtomer service are always EXCELLENT."

Contras: "The flight at first had a 3 HOUR delay do to a "mechanical breakdown". We were told that they were going to bring another airplane from Rio de Janeiro. After the 3 hours passed they were only announcing in Portuguese to board the original plane. They never changed planes or provided a clear explanation to the passengers. Many of us refused to board. This was one of the worse experiences I have ever had. The staff was disrespectful and would not help us. We ended up taking another flight until the following night!!"

Contras: "Company was not able to understand situation and did not offer solution. I lost my money"

Contras: "Latam The website of Latam is useless. The services for people in broadcoast is so difficult that almost impossible (email, facebook, telephone, etc) In my case, i was in Africa and couldn´t change my ticket. My brother had to change it from Argentina."

Prós: "Staff was nice despite the situation."
Contras: "The flight was cancelled, we were reassigned to a Turkish Airlines flight that departed more than 6 hours later than our cancelled flight, we were given lunch but at a fast food restaurant even when we had to carry along all our luggage (super un-practical). And searching for info on twitter I found out this flight gets cancelled quite a lot."

Prós: "I like the food,delicious I like entertainment very good!"
Contras: "The service very slow. The sits very small,no confortable!"

Prós: "Nothing to write home about."
Contras: "Squished seats, mediocre food. Competitor deliver more for the same price or less."

Prós: "Boarding priority for infants"
Contras: "Food was pretty bad quality wise and some of the crew members were really short tempered drill Sargents who were in a very bad mood"

Contras: "Our second international flight was at lunch hour and all they offer was a biscuit (2 units per person)"

Prós: "Expensive, tight seats, They now charge extra if you want to sit by the window. Mediocre."
Contras: "They lost my luggage. Avoid this airline like the plague. Never again."

Contras: "I didn’t take my outbound so they cancelled my return flight without notifying me. I had to pay $200 to buy my seat back. American is about as bad as spirit.."

Prós: "AA is always on time! Love the premium economy!"

Contras: "Today’s flight was extremely cold. Almost everyone in the plan was under the covers at some point."

Prós: "Everything was good."

Contras: "Several flights were delayed and canceled on last minute."

Prós: "Nothing."
Contras: "Was informed when we checked in that the flight we had purchased did not exists. We were informed thatcher would have to wait 24hours (after an already 7 hour layover) to catch another flight to Los Angeles. After debating with customer servinge several times and being forced to wait in line after being told things were fixed several time we had to threaten to record conversations and had someone call American Airlines headquarters and finally was able to get in the flight the same night. We at work be point were laughed at by an American Airlines customer service professional. I had purchased upgraded seats since I’m over 6 feet tall and they were not able to accommodate on the new flight, the flight was horrible and I had ton stand up every hour to make I the whole 12 hours."

Prós: "The only decent point was the food. Not great but at least edible."
Contras: "Since check in in São Paulo was a complete chaos. There were only 2 people helping on check in (in machines) and these people were still not helping people (like me) with questions about on how to do check in in those machines. On the other hand to dispatch the bags there were almost 8 attendants to receive the bags. Ridiculous! I’ve tried calling American Airlines and Latam several times to assign a seat for me and they swore there were only middle seats but I know how airlines work to make extra money on these seats. At the end, they only gave me a middle seat option and I had to take I.t of course. On the plane I realized there were dozens of empty seats and yet they made sure not give them to me or anyone else. Unbelievable! Unfortunately I still have to use AA on my way back to Brazil. After this, I’ll chose another airlines for sure. Also, the 3,4,3 arrangement is ridiculous: there’s no corridor space making people touching you everything someone passes by your seat. And boy! Those seats are so uncomfortable and there’s no way to incline the chair so you can even have a little rest (because it’s impossible to even sleep on those seats). The crew were simply doing their jobs! No pleasure! No smile! No engaging with anyone unfortunately! They looked miserable and I asked for water and the flight attendant NEVER brought me anything. Seriously! Water is free!"

Contras: "Despite being listed as vegans, we were not provided with vegan meals. When pointed out to the staff, we were given a small packet of soy crackers."

Prós: "Clean comfortable and on time"

Contras: "Complementary reservation 24 hrs before flight. B-757 was smallest airplain I ever fly over atlantic."

Contras: "Seats and food"

Contras: "1hr delay"

Prós: "Dinner was decent"
Contras: "Breakfast seemed poor."

Prós: "Nice meals, attentive staff"

Contras: "We didnt managed to get on that flight due to the delay from precious flight from philadelphia"

Contras: "24hrs delay and very poor communication from crew are not acceptable."

Prós: "During the time we were wkaiting for final decision on the flight delay I did not like any activity from crew and AA's emplyees."
Contras: "I understand some delays can occur due to tecnical problems and most of the times they are out of control but negative issues related to communications they are controllable and they must be reviewed and implemente properly."

Prós: "Lots of movie options."
Contras: "I didn't like anything else about the flight. My seat was broken and the seats are incredibly cramped! Absolutely no leg room whatsoever. I am 6 feet tall which is an average male height so I can't imagine how anyone taller fits in those seats."

Prós: "Staff was very friendly and helpful."
Contras: "Movie kept freezing up. So did Sodoku game."

Prós: "Customer service good. Offered food/service quickly."
Contras: "Film selection was subpar, and had no subtitles available. Flight safety information video so unbelievably boring. Flight crew repeated all instructions at least 3 times including video interruptions. What is the point of having in flight entertainment if crew will interrupt said entertainment at least once every 10 min to remind you you are still in turbulent air? Do they honestly think the passengers forgot? We are in the plane too! I understand they have to be careful due to liability but this airline is ridiculous. Believe it or not customers do not like being treated like children. Would not recommend to others or fly this airline again. Also, the lunch was awful even by airline standards. Btw the airline was avianca not AA. kayak must have messed up or they are owned by AA. AA is great and I recommend them wholeheartedly but Avianca is awful. Stay away if you can afford to do so."

Prós: "It was excellent!!! The service, the food, flight on time. Very friendly attendants!"

Prós: "Flight from CLT to CDG was excellent surprising amount of room in economy, modern plane with usb power and good IFE. Service was excellent but plane was only half full."
Contras: "Flight from CDG to ORD was awful. Dated 767 that American Airlines should be embarrassed by. No Wifi, IFE was a few screens suspended from above, overhead compartments couldn't fit standard size roller board bag, which makes no sense."

Contras: "My outbound flight to Manila had an overnight layover in Japan. I asked at the luggage check-in at O'Hare International Airport if they can check it all the way through as I had planned to go outside of the Narita airport for the layover. They told me I couldn't check the luggage all the way through and that I had to pick it up from baggage claim once I land in Narita. From there I had to check-in the luggage again on the same day. When I took my luggage out from baggage claim, I tried to check-in and the counter crew told me I was given wrong information. I had to keep my luggage with me until my flight the following day. On my return flight from Manila and another overnight layover in Narita, the check-in crew at NAIA told me I could check-in my luggage all the way through, and that they also allowed this at my outbound flight to Manila. The check-in crew at O'Hare International Airport gave me wrong information."

Prós: "Slept very well in business. Great crew!"

Contras: "We were downgraded from Main Cabin Extra rows 7 and 8 to row 30. We were told that we will get refund automatically. However, we received nothing. Getting a refund back is now becomes a very complicated process with zero transparency. Main Cabin Extra is kind of a scam. We bought it specifically for an extra leg room. However, on the flight from PHX to BOS, all seats in the economy class have the same leg room. The agent explicitly told us that on this plane all seats are the same. So, they offer product they do not have and collect money. Sounds like a scam to me."

Contras: "I did not fly I lost my flight they had a problem with the airplane on my flight from brasilia to sao paulo so I arrived late lost the connection to my other flight from Sao Paulo to LAX. Also they lost my luggage. LATAM and American Air Lines doesnt know where my luggage is. I arrived at my LAX 12 hours after. They still dont know where my luggage is"

Contras: "I had my reservation cancelled despiste numerous phone calls. The flight was operated by AA, and they told me I wasn't on the flight, but after many phone calls LATAN assured me I was booked on the flight. When I got to the airport, I was not allowed to board my direct flight from GRU to LAX, instead I was sent to Miami then Charlestown , I took me an extra 12 hours to get home. I lost a day of work. Who's going to reimburse me for that ???"

Prós: "Plane was insanely old"

Prós: "When a flight takes me safely from point A to point B I am very well satisfied. The crew was very nice and helpful, the food was very plentiful and was tasty and there was a lot of entertainment to choose from. The seats were quite comfortable as well."
Contras: "I have no complaints."

Prós: "The access ramp lessen the risk of tripping over I've experienced with the steps in the past."
Contras: "Corny jokes from the male cabin crew don't improve the flight in experience, we're crammed in like cattle and given a LTA meal and coffee."

Prós: "I enjoyed that the ride was only 35 minutes. The crew was helpful and professional. Quick and smooth trip and came in on time. Can't really ask for too much more than that."
Contras: "The middle seat was a little cramped but I can't really complain since I lucked out with window seats the entire trip and only had to sit in the middle seat for the shortest plane ride on my trip."

Contras: "The crew definitely needs to be changed. There needs to be hostesses who are more attentive and actually care about their passengers."

Prós: "Had good bathroom access and place to stand in the back galley so you could exercise and stretch as this was a connecting flight and I had been in the air a long time."
Contras: "The older woman stewardess was rude. I tried to give her my papers and she ignored me. So I put them in the pocket and the man next to me saw what happened and she responded to him. Curt. The plane is old and no individual TV. The food choices were very limited. I felt like cattle rather than a relaxing flight. Flying use to be fun and exciting and part of a great trip. Now it is endured to get on a trip."

Prós: "It was on time, crew was very polite and attentive."
Contras: "Nothing to report."

Contras: "How does American think it can get away with a mediocre business class fitting and charge the same as Lufthansa and United? In this flight, the did recline 170º but formed a ramp that did slowly slide the passenger under the set in front of him. I'd recommend someone from AA should fly Lufthansa Business Class or Singapore Airlines Business to check out how it should be done! ANd then, flying a beaten up 777-200er while its competitors fly 787 is nonhing but a shame!"
