Os aviões são pequenos e oferecem o básico, principalmente no voo entre Miami e Panamá, onde não tem USB pra carregar celular. Mas enfim, compensa o custo x beneficio.
O atendimento na chegada foi muito ruim e a comida estava péssima.
Gostei da pontualidade dos voos.

Quando chegaram em nós para servir q comida, já não havia mais nenhuma opção, apenas macarrão. Eu não como massa, então acabei ficando sem o jantar. Muito ruim!
reduziram absurdamente as porções de comida! Na janta serviram ou macarrão ou carne com batatas escolhi a carne por encher mais o estomago mas foi uma porção absurdamente pequena , junto com uma tirinha de pão e 1 alfajor... antes serviam porção de salada, sobremesa e uma porção decente de comida! Café da manhã foi um sanduíche de queijo com presunto ou omelete aí tem escolha de iogurte ou fruta, bem diferente de como era, serviam pão, iogurte e fruta para todos! O checkin foi muito bagunçado, pessoas de outro voo entraram no avião por conta da mudança repentina de portão, e o staff muito desatento no portão.
Nada para reclamar. No quesito atendimento da Latam via telefone (SAC) sobre dúvidas da viagem fui excepcionalmente bem recebida. Fiquei muito feliz. Obrigada!!!

Cheguei com 1 hora de antecedência no aeroporto e me impediram de embarcar, alegando que as novas regras da ANAC pedem antecedência de duas horas.
Vôo atrasou mais de 6 horas e a empresa com total descaso para com os clientes
O portão de embarque usualmente utilizado para esta rota, é um dos piores do aeroporto de Guarulhos; fica no piso inferior, com 2 ou 3 portoes de embarque e além de geralmente o espaço estar lotado, o acesso à aeronave se dá através de um onibus. Gostei do desembarque feiro por fileiras.

It’s the airline business to choose some passengers to charge $100000 Colombian pesos for getting bags, and then after being forced to pay for the bags crew doesn’t give a receipt so we wouldn’t have proof of the fraude. Charging for bags is at discretion of crew. When buying the tickets for me and my family I checked the policy about luggage and the website doesn’t state about being charged for getting regular size bags like ours."

Terrible airline. Completely disorganized and incompetent check-in process. 2+ hour flight delay and total lack of communication by their staff to the passengers. I missed my connecting flight as a result and was forced to reroute to Panama through Copa airlines in order to return to Bogotá, which took almost 10 extra hours. I would never fly GOL again.
I missed it because of the delay in the other flights. Attendants in the airport sent me from one side to the other many times due to poor information.

A goalkeeper was super arrogant with me, gave me no support and even told me that if I was in the United States I would be waiting for 3 days at the airport sleeping on the floor, so it was ok."

We missed our flight because no one spoke english and we had issues with documents and by the time we fix it was too late to make our flight and then we had to pay $600 to book with a different airline

Flight from Cartagena - Bogota - Lima. When I arrived at the airline counter in Cartagena to fly to Bogota the reps requested a PCR test result from me although for travel to Peru within 24 hours, only an antigen test is required, not a PCR test. I had a negative Covid antigen test result from the airport clinic just before checking in for the flight. Subesequent to that, I requested that that the airline at least honor the flight from Cartagena to Bogota thinking that when I arrived in Bogota, as it is a more international airport, I would be able to convince a manager there that the current travel regulations to Peru only require a Covid antigen test within 24 hours of travel to Peru. The airline reps and manager refused to even honor my flight ticket from Cartagena to Bogota athough no Covid test at all is required for travel within Colombia. The female attendants scoffed at me. Furthermore, the male staff person got incredibly aggressive with me in front of everyone in the airport to the point where I had to step back thinking he was going to get physical with me. In all of my travel to 54 countries and 51 years of travel, I have never been treated this poorly by an airline. I had to go to the counter of another airline where I was able to purchase another ticket to Bogota and was able to fly out that hour by paying for another ticket. Fortunately, my bank has granted me a chargeback although I was forced to pay more for a ticket purchased at the counter of another airline. I am SURPRISED this Viva Airlines is even in business!

I guess my comment is on the extras and as they charge for it, you know is a low cost service, but the extras or unknown could be charged at a much normal rate.

This is not what I understood when booking and is not clearly explained at the time of purchase. One attendant at the gate in particular was forceful and rude when insisting that I pay over $66 in cash at a moment when going to the ATM would mean potentially missing boarding and not arriving back in time to the gate. This process, which I agreed to because two staff members gave me the impression that I could not travel on the flight unless I paid right there instantly in CASH (completely ridiculous), caused me anxiety and took a long time, too long given the urgency of boarding the flight. I had to wait for change for 5 minutes and as a result, I was the last one to board. It should be noted that this process of paying for a maleta in hand at the gate had been preceded by having to pay over $20 in cash to print a boarding pass, which required another ATM withdrawal and fee. This is a weak and predatory business model, which seeks to exploit people’s need to travel and their anxiety. This was carried out in a completely unprofessional and manipulative manner by the staff members. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and exploitative."
Contras: "Paying to print out a boarding pass. Paying nearly as much for a checked bag as the flight itself"
Contras: "The flight was delayed due to a mechanical issue which resulted in a missed connecting flight. Luggage was also lost and the United Airlines pawned me off to Air Canada. Air Canada flight was canceled and the second flight was delayed by 4 hours. Luggage has still not been located."
Contras: "The only airline that charged me for a damn backpack"
Prós: "no delay in departure and on-time arrival"
Contras: "Had to pay for baggage exceeding 6 kilos in weight. Had to find the internet cafe at the airport and pay to print our boarding passes. Agent at the gate would not print nor was there a kiosk to print it."
Contras: "Purchase directly from VivaColombia website or not at all. We were forced to pay $40 each in additional fees to board the plane (including a fee to print our boarding passes) all which we weren’t expecting. Boarding was a mess, the crew were nice."

Contras: "They forced me to check my bag although I had taken it inside all planes . They lost my baggage for two hours and nobody was responsive. Very poor management including the supervisor. Nobody spoke English."
Contras: "They appear to be cheap but they charge for any small thing including printing a boarding pass and also checkin a carry on. Which overall turns out to be way more expensive that other airlines. Besides their customer service is very bad. they lost my baggage and didn't explain anything for more than 2 hours."
Prós: "The flight attendants were very helpful and professional"
Contras: "Not a dislike, but the boarding process was different than USA."
Prós: "Siendo una compañia colombiana, por lo menos regalen el cafe y no instantaneo. Que pena"
Contras: "Hay que pagar por todo adicional y esos costos son altísimos, por ejemplo el agua cuesta dos solares, almpahar la maleta en el counter sale carísima al final termine pagando lo de un tkt en una aerolínea comercial cualquiera, sillas estrechas, la atención muy mala y no hay nada de entretenimiento abordó..... no volveré a volar nunca más en esa aerolínea!!! Pésima"
Contras: "They won't print your ticket at the check in counter and you can't use an online boarding pass. You have to print one from home or use an internet cafe at the airport that charges $6 to print a single sheet of paper. They jam your carry on bag into a small box. Boarding took longer than the flight! The seats are incredibly cramped yet they recline all the way back, so you're likely to have someone in your lap for the entire trip. Absolutely horrible. Nothing like other high quality discount airlines such as Air Asia which at least treat you like a human being."
Contras: "I booked without realizing that you need to pay for your luggage separately, pay $10 to print your boarding pass and of course pay for all food and beverages. What a pain, not enjoyable."
Prós: "That I got to my destination."
Contras: "The wait time of eight hours. Also that they charged me to print my ticket, and I was charged for a very small carry-on item."
Prós: "Fast, good service."
Prós: "For a low cost company actually the experience was better than others. At least the seat could go back a little."
