You’d pick a movie and it wouldn’t play. The games, camera and flight status animation all worked but not the movies. Air hostess tried resetting , still nothing. But it was a great opportunity to have a lovely conversation with my new German Friend Barbara and read my book! More lactose intolerant alternatives for breakfast which had much (cheese, yogurt, croissant) Other than those two , excellent flight. Thank you Swiss!"

Idea was she would place the dog on the table space next to her seat. It would be exactly the same for both seats. Do not know what they were thinking. There were other business class seats on the other side that had the table space ext to the window away from the aisle. That would make sense for the lady with dog. Business class was full and I was the last to get on, 45 minute connection in Zurich from terminal A to E, my seat was given. But as I objected, they moved the dog lady and gave me back my seat. But they never asked a person in the seat that would have made sense to give her to trade seats."

There was a loud, obnoxious passenger next to me who almost got into a fistfight with another passenger until the stewardess came to calm him down."

Contras: "There is little that can be done to make a long haul flight comfortable when a baby is screaming and crying for it's entire duration. Its behaviour cannot be helped. But it certainly didn't make the flight comfortable, nor did the young child kicking incessantly at the back of my and my daughter's seats. This could have occurred on any flight, but it didn't contribute to having a positive experience on this one. The flight attendant serving breakfast completely ignored that fact that I was awake and strolled past without asking if I would like anything as meals were being served. I informed another flight attendant that we hadn't been offered breakfast and she was able to provide us with meals. Besides this the cabin crew were courteous and pleasant. I've flown with Swiss on other occasions and have had better experiences. I'd like to think this was just a one off and not representative of the level of service that Swiss normally provides."

Which was probably because their SWISS flight was late. Why are all SWISS flights running late??? There was no coffee or tea on the flight because there was a problem with the electrical system of the hot water machines. That could have been fixed before we left.... The entertainment system is clunky, and it didn't help that it had to be rebooted (took 20 minutes !?!?) in the middle of the flight to deal with some 'isssues'. The big boxes with the entertainment system underneath the seats are not fun either, they really cut into legroom. In general, it seems this plane is in need of a bit of an overhaul and maintenance. And whatever happened to Swiss punctuality? I'm not used to SWISS flights being late. You can do much better than that, you used to!"

We lost our car reservation as we would arrive too late to collect, we also couldn't check in to our hotel as planned as the hotel only allow check in until 11pm; we would have got there at 1am, so then had to book another hotel for the night. Airport staff at Lufthansa told us they could not help and told us to go away!"

It's really annoying when this happens. I think the ground crew in New Delhi duped me. At one point, my call button for my meal was ignored for ~30 minutes on the plane. And then I was told there was no more chicken, and handed a veggie wrap. One wonders whether I could have gotten chicken 30 minutes ago!"

The lady from the seat before my wife's (31A) was lowering her seat ALL THE WAY. my wife protested, the crew tried unsuccessfully to adjust my wife's seat. Finally, instead of considering my condition and relocating us to some other seats (there were several free on this flight), the crew's lead stewardess (Friederich ?- I could not read the label, she kept it under her jacket) decided to upgrade that couple seats by moving them into the Business Class."

I asked for this to be addressed and the SAA crew ignored the request and in the morning looked surprised to find out that several of the TV monitors had not worked at anytime on the flight. Contras: "KLM's new configuration for this type of plane made the seats even narrower than before. While leg room was reasonable, the 3 abreast seating meant a lot of discomfort, especially in the row right in front of the restroom."

The confirmation number was: KAYAK Booking Reference KE40651 British Airways Record Locator 3IMN38 Booking Date Jan 24, 2021 So British airways cancelled the flight may days before the flight date and they notified Kayak but Kayak sent me no notification. At the time of check in we found that the flight was cancelled. It was such a hassle. I called kayak to rebook frantically since it was very important to travel right away. Your customer service was pathetic. I was told to cancel my british airways reservation and then I have to wait 24 hours for another department to call me to talk to me about rebooking choices. There was no concern from your customer service that since u are at fault so make correction for it right away by rebooking it. You guys didnt inform us for cancellation of the flight that happened days before the flight. I didnt like what Kayak rep was telling me and called British airways again to see if they would do something. They then were able to rebook me the following day with 2 stops instead of one stop which I had booked. So my parents took the flight with one day delay with extra stops. I had such a horrible experience with Kayak. I will never rebook from Kayak again."

From there the delay grew as seems to be typical of BA at the moment. Also by the time the trolley made it to me there was only one sandwich choice left."
Prós: "The A380 is roomy with large overhead bins. Its quiet and smooth. Flight was on time!!"
Contras: "It was impossible to select a seat in advance. I could not even get to seat selection at online checkin. It was very frustrating. When I went to BA in London and Los Angeles they said it was responsibility of AA and when I went to AA in London & Los Angeles they referred me back to BA. Why can I not choose seats like on other airlines????"

Contras: "I didn't like the cheese roll I asked for as the whole roll and cheese was literally stuck to the bottom and parts of the bottom of the roll were mushy. The staff were professional but lacked personality and seemed a little hollow."

The crew were very abrupt in general, and did not have that seasoned and polite demeanor which I expect from BA."
Prós: "After 18 hours of travel I just slept on this flight. Got on, fastened my seat belt, and don't remember take off or landing!! But the plane was MUCH cleaner and nicer than our international flight."
Contras: "Flight crew was a bit loud and it woke me up a couple of times, but it was at 2 pm. So I didn't expect them to be quiet."
Prós: "BA moved me on to the Kulula flight without any fuss and gave me a meal voucher."
Contras: "I got to the airport to find that my 19:15 flight had been delayed to 22:15. I hadn't received any notification from BA and still do not know the reason for the delay. The only other option available was for BA to put us on the 20:20 Kulula flight to Lanseria and then shuttle us from Lanseria to OR Tambo. It really is not pleasant to get back home so late on a week night and not even be given any warning or any reason for the huge delay."

I have special needs at my age and so booking early is how I typically make sure I can access the bathrooms easily without climbing over sleeping passengers. I picked flight for the price, but in the end I should have stuck with Delta, KLM and Air France and got the extra miles as with seat bookings and only one bag allowance, what I ended up paying did not make it worth it. Oh well, live and learn. Seats were tight, anyone bigger than me would have really struggled."

Thus, they can do what ever they want with your bag's handles, manhandle it and not take any responsibility. My suitcase was clearly damaged by the way it was handled since i booked it in till i received it again and they just said sorry...there is nothing we can do for you!!! Now that is is poor customer service."

When we checked in for the flight, we had no ticket for the first leg of the flight, but we had tickets for the remaining flights. We immediately called to fix this problem, but due to slow customer service, we weren't issued tickets in time and the flight left without us. We missed all remaining connecting flights and were forced to buy New tickets. Now we have to work with kayak/priceline to get all my money back due to their error. We came back a day later than expected and missed going back to work."
