On the previous occasion I had left behind my waist bag on the seat containing passports, cash and cards. Their lost and found desk retrieved it quickly, absolutely intact. On the last occasion, my mother in law, who is over 85 was taken care of very well at not only Delhi but especially at the Frankfurt airport. I must truly acknowledge young lady Jessica's efforts, in ensuring that everything was handled very caringly by her personally, for an old lady at the Frankfurt airport."

But when I went to the counter, my seat was changed without my consent (to a worse seat), and I was told that the online process wasn't complete!! Then the website should say accordingly. It's really annoying when this happens. I think the ground crew in New Delhi duped me. At one point, my call button for my meal was ignored for ~30 minutes on the plane. And then I was told there was no more chicken, and handed a veggie wrap. One wonders whether I could have gotten chicken 30 minutes ago!"

Person in front of me stretched her arms over the seat so her hands were dangling in front of me and fingers in my screen. I know we were in coach, but maybe another inch of separation would be nice for such long flights."

In the economy/coach cabin, they squeeze the seat distances to such an extent that, when the person in front of you leans their chair back, you cannot get out of your seat at an upright angle. You have to significantly bend your body. To not loose your balance, you have to grab on to the seat in front of you and that disturbs the other passenger. If they're sleeping, they can be woken up by that. Lufthansa does not care much for its passengers. Nor do many other companies, for that matter, but I think Lufthansa is taking things further than most airlines. It is a disgrace. Their brand is not what it once was."

There is no gap under the bulkhead to put your feet, so although you don’t get a seat in front of you leaning back, there isn’t enough room to straighten your legs out which on a 12 hour flight isn’t comfortable."

The flight attendants hardly ever brings you water or juices and alcohol is not free of charge for an intercontinental flight. We got took off late cause of the weather but we were all safe."

Contras: "787 had issues with the window tinting. although it was a day flight, it felt like a night flight, with the expected effects on jet lag and fatigue. also, in premium economy, my seat was in the very last row, next to the toilet with no window, even though it is a window seat. to call a seat the 'window' seat, and then have no window is deceptive."

By the time we realized that kayak had not transferred funds to the airline, the plane had left and I had to completely re-book my trip at triple the cost. I called United ahead of time to tell them I was not able to make my flight and if there was anyway I could get a new ticket. The representative was confident that 40 minutes between my flights at Delhi was enough time to make it despite me reminding her about the time it took to get off the plane, pick up my luggage, get through immigrations and travel to my terminal. She was very wrong. She insisted I call them when I land and that I go to the ticket booth. Little did she know that once I miss my flight my ticket is no longer valid and I was no longer able to enter the airport in India. Once I reached the entrance I was directed to a Untied booth all the way at the end of the terminal and was told to buy a new ticket. There was no United representative at this booth. I waited 3 hours and even called the number posted at the booth. No one picked up and no one came. I had wasted several hours. I ultimately decided to buy a ticket online spending another thousand dollars to get back home when I was told that I would be given a new ticket at the booth by United. But I had to wait another 24 hours outside the airport because I was not allowed in so early prior to my flight. Very unprofessional and unhelpful when I needed it the most."

On United website, it would've been $25 to upgrade each seat (not horrible), and the flight attendant told us we couldn't when we asked that they were $100+ seats and that there's nothing she could do. Thanks United. Guess I'll go back to being a JetBlue customer."
