They lost my luggage on this last flight, so I'm still waiting for their updates two days after that.

Terrible airline. Completely disorganized and incompetent check-in process. 2+ hour flight delay and total lack of communication by their staff to the passengers. I missed my connecting flight as a result and was forced to reroute to Panama through Copa airlines in order to return to Bogotá, which took almost 10 extra hours. I would never fly GOL again.
I missed it because of the delay in the other flights. Attendants in the airport sent me from one side to the other many times due to poor information.

And on my ticket I didn't have the gate number or the terminal, the goalkeeper said he would let me know when the flight was leaving, the hours passed and I didn't hear him calling me. until near the departure time I went to ask the employee and he said that the flight had left a long time ago and that the entrance was on the opposite side of where I was and they did not warn me ... now I'm here at the airport with no place to sleep, waiting for my other flight with a connection to Brasilia that leaves 6 am where I will wait for almost 12 hours to be able to get home. remembering that my flight from São Paulo to Cuiabá was 3 hours long and I will have to wait for almost 24 hours. A goalkeeper was super arrogant with me, gave me no support and even told me that if I was in the United States I would be waiting for 3 days at the airport sleeping on the floor, so it was ok."

The agent at the check-in changed our seats to row 17, at the bulkhead for economy, and the two middle seats. I ALWAYS sit on the aisle, thus my wife had to crawl over someone to go to the bathroom. Four times a flight is not what a 73 year old women wants to navigate. The check-in agent wanted us to have more leg room...I understand her motive but, not a good idea. I had no option to decline. The food again on an international flight was a one out of ten. Since we were at the bulkhead the fold out tray was VERY unstable and my drink spilled (luckily, it did not spill on my neighbor or me). I refused breakfast. If I held a drink in my hand, I felt secure. If I put it on the tray, I felt VERY insecure. Both of the women stewardesses basicaly threw the drinks at me. Zero understanding of the problems of stability (ok, the plane was full and they had a lot of work to serve everyone, but a little understnding would comfort their clients). GRU to MIA is a short flight, and, the pilot did a wonderful job (takeoff to landing, 8 hours), absolutely no turbulence. Very clear communication from the flight deck. I will probably fly American again, ticket purchase was simple and the cost was quite good; wheelchair excellent both in GRU and MIA.

It was not that good. The AC of the the airplane was off for 30 minutes before it took of. When asked for it to be turned on, the flight attendant was completely rude and said that I would have the option to get off the plane if I didn’t like the situation. I thought it was disrespectful and unnecessary for him to act like that, especially when there were passengers that were tired and without sleep after an international flight.
Standard flight. Could be better by taking off on time and landing on time.

Contras: "Flight was delayed due to weather. That is understandable. However the crew was not helpful in sharing any information with customers about changes to connecting flights. Much time was wasted and I had to reschedule my flight. The staff members that booked my hotel and my new flight were short and brief and not very helpful or accommodating or informative. Overall I didn’t not feel like a welcomed guest and I do not feel enough compensation was offered for such an inconvenience. Not being able to have my bag overnight was a hassle. I had no clean clothes and had to throw out my contacts because I had no solution. I also couldn’t use the meal voucher they gave me because everywhere in the airport was closed by that time. No stipend was given for toiletries or food delivery. Very unimpressed."

Contras: "Gate at Philadelphia was tiny with not enough space for everyone on the plane, it was a 6 hour flight and no snacks beyond pretzels were available-not even for purchase. I'd just come off an 8 hour international flight where I was provided lunch, ice cream, a pot pie snack and frequent beverage service. Somehow as soon as you are flying domestic on a slightly shorter flight American Airlines thinks its okay to treat customers like garbage-nothing but some sad pretzels and 2 rounds of drink service was provided for a 6 hour flight. The seats were super uncomfortable with no head rest, no personal entertainment devices were provided, and there was no general entertainment for the whole plane-seriously I've never been so bored. I would have fallen asleep from boredom but the seat was too uncomfortable so I couldn't even do that. The plane landed in Seattle but sat without unloading passengers for 20 minutes because the gate crew wasn't ready. We didn't get our checked baggage for over an hour after landing. When asked, customer service reps said that the S gate was far from baggage claim-seriously I'm not sure how that is a reasonable excuse. Other airlines arrive into S gates and have timely baggage claim service. American Airlines has no standard for timely baggage claim service like other airlines (Alaska) so there were no repercussions for such late baggage service. We left the airport with our luggage over 90 minutes after the plane landed. The entire experience is just another example of American Airlines of why the terrorists won't even fly American Airlines. I was seriously disappointed to find out that the British Airways flights we booked were operated by American instead of BA crews. I seriously will never select this option (or fly American) again if I can help it."

Contras: "The flight was delayed and when we arrived to the destination we were unable to land and the pilot made a brisk turn then the landing was rough. We also fad to wait about 45 minutes before we parked at the gate. I suppose the bad weather was to blame but it was very uncomfortable and would have appreciated better communication from the flight crew."

Contras: "Os lavatórios são sempre sujos, com mal cheiro e por vezes os materiais (sabonete, papéis...) acabam. Utilizá-los antes do pouso então é uma desafio. Para voos tão longos, as cias aéreas deveriam pesar em algum solução para manter o padrão de limpeza durante todo o voo, não somente no embarque."

Contras: "The flight was delayed 30 minutes causing me to lose the connecting flight home by about 5 minutes There was no effort from United to help me to get the second flight on time or from the crew on that one to delay it enough for me to arrive. They suggested I waited 9 hours for the next available flight or to get one by AA in Reagan Airport in 3 hours. They told me that transportation to that airport would not be reimbursed and would cost between 20 and 40 dollars. I didn't know the airports were that far apart and the one-hour taxi drive cost me 80 dollars. From Sao Paulo to Washington, things went as well as expected. Once landed everything was horrible."

I had NO idea I couldn't take a small carry on. That's insane. Worse than Spirit, which is not saying much. At least you can pay for a carry on with Spirit. They forced me to check my unlocked bag. United used to be one of my favorites. Its lower than Spirit now. Beware!"

Contras: "In general, United team on the bag drop (from Atlanta too) are rude, as well as the officers of the security scan team are rough. They have no courtesy. They should understand that passengers are paying for the service and 99% are not “bad guys.” So, politeness and respect are the minimum things they deserve. Additionally, the Atlanta airport checking area and boarding check are not organized. They need to improve signal support for all customer."
I can’t think of one thing that could have made the flight any better. Staff was friendly, attentive, pleasant. The flight was very enjoyable

Contras: "Play. It needed to be repaired or replaced. It made the entire flying experience very uncomfortable. There was nothing the crew could have done about it at the time other than hold the flight take out the seat and have maintenance come in and replace that. I don't blame the crew. But maintenance within the airline should have noticed and should not have allowed the flight to go out during the day."
Prós: "Price, on time departure/ arrival. Easy boarding, courteous service."

Contras: "Compre este vuelo atravez de kayak, one way con escala en forloderler, Florida para mi mama una persona que necesita asistencia. Adquiri el servicio de silla de ruedas. Primero le hacen pagar 52$ dolares por su maleta. Cuando hace el stop ella va al baño se pierde consigue alguin que la ayude la llevan al front desk y le hacen pasar todo el proceso de check in again simplemente por que se perdio y no supo como regresar a su gate. La agangr de sprint le quiere volver a cobrar 52$ por su carry on nuevamente. Mi mama la nerviosa y llorosa me comunica con la agente de sprint. Le indico por teléfono que mi mama no tiene suficiente dinero con ella para pagar la maleta nuevamente que la unica forma seria que me tomara el pago por telefono vuelvo y le expecifico que mi mama es una paciente nerviosa y con condiciones que ella necesita asistencia. Me indica que me comunicara con la manager, no hable con esta pero ella entendio la situación de mi mama y le endico al la agente que no tenia que pagar por su maleta. En todo esto un mal servicio para pacientes con limitada capacitación. Jamas vuelvo a volar por spritit ni poner a mi mama en una situación como esta."

Prós: "Price point was very nice. Airplanes were new. Flight crew was nice, efficient, and enthusiastic."
Contras: "Seats are very tight and very thin. As a 6'4" person, I expect to be cramped in planes; however, I have never been able to feel the knees of the person behind me through the seat on other airlines. Trash in seat back pockets."
Contras: "I booked mistakenly twice the same flight home from BOSTON to DFW. One was with JustFly.com amd the other via FlightNetwork.com. Spirit did not give me the refund I was asking for one (JustFly.com) because my husband decided to use the other. JustFly told us to deal with Spirit directly and Spirit told us to deal with JustFly directly. What an experience."

Contras: "I showed up right at 40 minutes there were 5 agents 4 were not helping anyone, busy adding sugar to the ice tea's brought by a sixth agent I ask for help was rudely ignored. Finally got to the agent 35 before departure and she told me sorry too late. I had a carry on!! I'll never fly Spirit again, I hope the mechanics are more competent then your agents."
Contras: "Complete joke of informing us of the delays. Plan finally lands and the crew clocks out. Never flying this airline again."
Contras: "The alert was finally sent to us well past the time we would have been going through security. Luckily, we had checked on our own through a third party app,. No alternative flights were available, so we had to book on another airline and cancel the Spirit tickets. The credit policy is draconian. We may not be able to meet the redemption requirements and will probably lose the entire value. The process created so much frustration and wasted so much time. The low-ish price is simply not worth it."
Contras: "Beware of the baggage cost! Checked bags have to be under 40lbs or you pay extra (other airlines are 50 lbs). You have to pay for carry on luggage! Luggage fee is 50.00 per bag BEWARE! You think you are saving money but you are not! Seats are no frills and very uncomfortable! No drink service so bring your own!"

Contras: "I do not write reviews. I have never needed to until now. The people at ticketing who worked for Spirit were so amused by the crying families that they could hardly hold in laughs. Spirit had delayed the flight 3 hours past the original time, and 30 minutes before they had put it back on schedule. Needless to say many people including myself had to rush to the airport. When I go there there were crying families being rudely insulted and laughed at by the staff at Spirit airline. These men were of middle eastern decent and they were making incredulous racial slurs about the Hispanic customers to their face. They even encouraged us to leave, and not try to make my flight, saying "you have only two minutes, you will never make it!" They said this after refusing to print our boarding passes, which we were able to make enough noise to convince him to do so. He also tried to swat a cell phone out of my partner's hand when he was trying to film these Spirit employee's make these insulting slurs. The plane is also terrible and crew seemed like they were all high on opiates, sluggishly making their way through the cabin. Very unsafe airline, price gouging enterprise of deceit and ineptitude."
Prós: "They arrived on time but many other airlines are capable of this."
Contras: "Was forced to buy a return flight for $183.49 when checking in. The receipt does not even show information for an unaccounted for $84.49. The agent did not inform me of details of the new reservation so when I tried to call and cancel the return flight I found out that it was for the previous day. Customer service would not refund my money because I was an apparent no-show. As for the flight itself: They did not even offer free water on our 2h 15min flight."

First time flying Spirt and my last!"
Contras: "I fly a lot. I took spirit because of the great deal I got, but will never fly them again no matter what. I will pay more for a flight because of the poor customer service. My flight was cancelled after being delayed after 10 mins. This is was about my 10th time flying the airlines, I was trying to give them a chance, and every time have had serious problems. I work customer service and understand how annoying these message are and realize there will probably be nothing done about how I feel and the poor service I received, but really this was a horrible experience. Lucky I am savy at finding new flights. I stood in line to change mine while on the phone with spirit and lucky cancelled the flight with spirit. I had to rebook with a different airlines. The difference between the flight was $240. My husband rebooked it for me while I was on the phone with spirit. Never again will I fly this airlines, no matter what I do!"
