Prós: "Chegar vivo em casa."
Contras: "Avião SUPER antigo, provavelmente deve ter sido espólio da TransBrasil de tão antigo. Sem qualquer sistema de entretenimento, refeição sem gosto."

Prós: "O avião estava em um de seus primeiros voos. O 787 é mais silencioso, tem janelas maiores e com tecnologia que "escurece" as mesmas até o total blackout, WiFi a um preço justo, a classe econômica premium é equivalente a executiva de muitas companhias aéreas com um preço muito mais justo. A American surpreendeu nesse voo e ganhou minha fidelidade que até então estava com a Latam."
Contras: "Apesar do preço justo, o WiFi deu algum trabalho para ser configurado, já que precisei descobrir sozinho qual era o endereço para comprar o WiFi. A velocidade não era das melhores, mas dava para navegar, fazer downloads e usar mensageiros e redes sociais tranquilamente."

Havia umas telas no teto passando filme. A tripulação utilizava as últimas poltronas como base de apoio. Havia cobertor, travesseiro, todas as bolsas estavam ali, colocaram sucos armazenados junto aos equipamentos de segurança."

Contras: "I understand some delays can occur due to tecnical problems and most of the times they are out of control but negative issues related to communications they are controllable and they must be reviewed and implemente properly."

Contras: "Estava com três volumes para despachar, e descobri no checkin que existe um embargo sazonal para Brasilia, onde não pode despachar mais de duas malas, mesmo pagando US$ 85,00 a mais. A atendente em Raileigh não soube explicar porque existia tal restrição. Deixei para trás um volume de bagagem nos EUA."

Prós: "Piolet tried to fly higher and faster to reduce time. Good job"
Contras: "Flight delayed by over hour. Desk crew could have been there to help us make decisions but were not. There was no one to ask about connecting flight gates. When we got off in philly there was someone to give directions to connecting flights. That was too little too late . If we had not on our own looked up connection gate and map of the airport andwould have had to stand in line to ask we would have missed our international connection."

Contras: "Film selection was subpar, and had no subtitles available. Flight safety information video so unbelievably boring. Flight crew repeated all instructions at least 3 times including video interruptions. What is the point of having in flight entertainment if crew will interrupt said entertainment at least once every 10 min to remind you you are still in turbulent air? Do they honestly think the passengers forgot? We are in the plane too! I understand they have to be careful due to liability but this airline is ridiculous. Believe it or not customers do not like being treated like children. Would not recommend to others or fly this airline again. Also, the lunch was awful even by airline standards. Btw the airline was avianca not AA. kayak must have messed up or they are owned by AA. AA is great and I recommend them wholeheartedly but Avianca is awful. Stay away if you can afford to do so."

Prós: "Reserved seating at time of boiling so all 5 of us sitting together."
Contras: "When we got our boarding passes we were all sitting in different places. I cannot understand how you sit a 3 and 4 year old away from their parents. Shocking oversight."

Contras: "I'm pregnant, and didn't have time before my connecting flight to get food at the airport. I was sitting near the back of the plane, and was ready to purchase food. By the time the cart reached my row, all the food options were literally sold out. I ate the free cookie and had some apple juice, but wanted something with some protein. I guess I'll remember to pack more snacks next time."

Contras: "Não gostei somente de uma coisa: os copos para tomar espumante e vinho são de plástico ou acrílico, não de vidro, e não é taça, e o motor do avião é muito barulhento, é preciso colocar o headphone para conseguir dormir."

Contras: "I had my reservation cancelled despiste numerous phone calls. The flight was operated by AA, and they told me I wasn't on the flight, but after many phone calls LATAN assured me I was booked on the flight. When I got to the airport, I was not allowed to board my direct flight from GRU to LAX, instead I was sent to Miami then Charlestown , I took me an extra 12 hours to get home. I lost a day of work. Who's going to reimburse me for that ???"

Prós: "Eu fiz o upgadre para o assento com mais espaço e valeu muito a pena o custo x benefício. A atenção da tripulação para passageiros que não estavam cumprindo com os sinais de cinto e etc."

Prós: "We were greeted by an AA employee after our connecting flight arrived and escorted through the various security steps to the departure gate. The vegetarian meal was very good."
Contras: "Leg room in coach is grossly inadequate. The entertainment system has poor controls and had to be rebooted."

Contras: "Nunca vi algo tão BIZARRO ocorrer em um voo. O voo sofreu um atraso, o que é compreensivo e totalmente normal. Não me incomodo nem um pouco quando ocorrem atrasos e cancelamentos, pois prefiro isso do que voar em um avião defeituoso. Porém o despreparo e descortesia do pessoal de solo da aa (em minúsculas mesmo) foi absolutamente desastroso, o que tornou essa a pior experiência de voo da minha vida. Simplesmente eles não conseguiram organizar os passageiros para a reacomodação dos que tinham conexão e a supervisora, na primeira vez que falou no rádio foi para ameaçar os passageiros! Nunca vi isso! Não tinha ninguém gritando ou causando tumulto, ela simplesmente ameaçou chamar a segurança se as pessoas não se afastassem do balcão de informações. E fez isso mais duas vezes. Depois disso, essa mesma pessoa passou a "reacomodar" os passageiros por conta própria, ou seja, colocando num voo qualquer, sem querer saber se atendia às necessidades de cada passageiro. Por fim, disseram para os passageiros com destino final para o RJ que o avião que faria a conexão iria esperá-los, mas que todos os outros iriam perder a conexão. Quando chegamos em Miami, o avião que iria para o RJ já tinha saído (!) e o que iria para SP ainda estava lá (!!). Bizarro. Mas, para piorar, como a gentil senhora tinha feito a delicadeza de mudar minha passagem sem me perguntar se me atenderia ou não, quando me apresentei no portão para embarcar no avião que seguiria para SP me foi informado que, apesar de eu estar com check-in feito e com cartão de embarque em mãos, meus lugares não existiam mais pois minha reserva constava para outro voo em outro dia. Depois de muita insistência com os também grosseiros atendentes de Miami (deve ter uma escola de grosseria na aa), conseguimos embarcar os 5 membros da minha família, todos separados. Viajo dezenas de trechos todos os anos e já avisei: se me virem de novo num voo da aa, pode internar que deu ruim."

Contras: "How does American think it can get away with a mediocre business class fitting and charge the same as Lufthansa and United? In this flight, the did recline 170º but formed a ramp that did slowly slide the passenger under the set in front of him. I'd recommend someone from AA should fly Lufthansa Business Class or Singapore Airlines Business to check out how it should be done! ANd then, flying a beaten up 777-200er while its competitors fly 787 is nonhing but a shame!"

Contras: "Food and distribution of the food. Unfortunately on my flight the flight attendant was so busy that forgot to come back for the water/coffee drinks."

Contras: "The flight never happened. Our outgoing flight from HHI to Charlotte was delayed until it was eventually canceled with no reason given and we were rerouted through Savannah, an hour away with no notification and so the return flight had to be changed too because our car was in Savannah"

Prós: "When we tried to check in there was not reservation because flight was with American not satam - luckily we figured it out"
Contras: "Make it clear that ticketing airline might not be the actual airline!!"

Contras: "I strongly recommend: do not board a plane if you are about to miss a connection. Do not believe in the ground personal promise that "everything will be provided by United". It will not. My filght was delayed, redirected to another airport to fuel the plane and this made me miss a connection to another flight. I had to board 24 hours later. It had nothing to do with weather, only with logistics. - United did not put me in an alternative flight, even knowing I would miss my flight connection. - United did not endorse me in another company. - United was not able to retrieve my luggage so I could have clean clothes. They said "it would take too long". - United did not provide me food vouchers (only for breakfast), nor a toiletry kit. - United did not provide me an extended stay at the hotel, as mi flight would leave only the night of the other day. I had to leave the hotel by 12 pm and spend ten hours at the airport. . I was sent to a hotel that had no restaurant open at night. I spent a night without any food. - I did not receive vouchers for lunch for the following day. - The vouchers I received were insufficient to buy food. I spent my two US$ 10 vouchers in breakfast at the hotel ($ 14, no change given). - I had to go to the airport to complain. United provided me only US$ 20 for lunch and dinner. Only two bottles of water costed me $6. It is impossible to eat at an airport with $7. I went to complain again and United said nothing could be done about. - United did not provide us food on the plane, even though we spent six hours in the plane due to United decisions/mistakes (normally the flight takes two hours). - United never offered me economic compensation"

Prós: "My flight attendants on my flight were wonderful and so was the boarding crew at San Fran's airport to Las Vegas were awesome as well. The space I had on my connecting flight to vegas was awesome and the feature it had to charge devices were a nice too."
Contras: "The crew at the front desks and at the boarding area for my flight from Anchorage, AK, to the San Fran airport however, were extremely rude. The rating for the crew is a 2 because although my flight attendants were awesome, but the service given to me and to my fellow flyers by the Customer Service Agents/Reps at the front desk and the training of a newbie at the gate, when boarding at the Anchorage, Alaska, airport was terrible. They were extremely unprofessional and did not seem to care that the tones of their voices, their facial expressions, as well as their body language, showed that they lacked the manners and knowledge of compassion, respect and courtesy. Their rotten attitudes were insufficient at making the customers/guests of the airlines feel comfortable before flying. I did not appreciate being spoken to the way some of the reps did."

Honestly, I know that everything is about the bottom line, but you can at least provide 1 free movie or Channel and charge for optional premium material."

Contras: "I wasn't assigned a seat even when I checked in (flight was overbooked)so I felt a lot of stress that I wouldn't get a seat on the flight I had booked a few weeks prior. I called United and they could not guarantee that I would definitely have a seat."

Prós: "There were maybe two of the flight attendants. Who weren't rude. The rest well, I guess didn't like there jobs? I lost all my money for my first flight, because i was over 4 hours late. When i purchased a ticket from cheapo air, the person helping me was so nice. Unlike United airlines, or Viama. When i missed my flight that i paid $1,300.00, United said they'd give me another ticket for $4,000? This was a one time offer to redeem my $1,300 Viama said $10,500? I will only buy my tickets from cheapo air from now on."
Contras: "The flight attendants are very snotty, 2 out of the 18 I encountered were polite. The rest acted like they hated their jobs, and all the passengers. When you travel to another country they should have at least one person who speaks English. Can't really say much for the food, essentially requesting a vegetarian meal was out of the question, so i just starve. Drink some watered down booze, take a few dramamine and sleep. The layovers are ridiculous. 14 hours, 8 hours 4 hours? Good thing God made Beer and pizza."

Then they attempted to charge us baggage fees because you didn't notify them that we used our United Explorer card. This also required me working with the gate agent to get priority boarding"

Prós: "Seat is comfortable, and it is nice to be able to recline without having to worry about the person behind you. You still have room to spread out without interfering with the person in the seat next to you."
