The hostesses were super friendly always offering some sort of beverage, the food was tasty (Be careful not to drop noodles on yourself like I did, those bad boys left a little mark). The video selection wasn't huge, but it was definitely adequate with good titles. Maybe I haven't noticed this before in other airlines, but they had new toothbrushes (packaged, not someone's forgotten toothbrush) in the restroom so the poor sap next to me didn't have to smell my stinky breath. Finally, they were quick with boarding! They were very punctual and we took off right when we got on, so nice!"
Contras: "The seats were pretty adequately sized, however, I felt like I couldn't lay back too far or if the the person in front of me did, it made it really difficult to get the seats. Also, I thought it was my headphones, but it happened on a couple of flights with different headphones, but the audio only comes out of one earphone which was slightly annoying... Other than those things, JAL is super solid and I would recommend it to anyone considering them."

Passengers on International flights going out of the Philippines are advised be at the airport at least 3 hours before scheduled flight. Well, the JAL check-in counter opened at 650AM for the 950AM flight (exactly 3 hours before the scheduled flight), with maybe some 50 people already in line. With most passengers coming far from the airport, it will be very very helpful if the counter, even at least one counter, would open earlier, so that passengers who came in early could check in early and wait comfortably in the departure area."
Prós: "It was a good price. I always like JAL flights that provide much better service than American companies. The Japanese staff are EXCELLENT! My flight was delayed from Montreal, but when I arrived Chicago, the JAL crew was waiting to take me to the next terminal!! (This never happens for American airline companies!!)"

Flight was delayed 2 hours, but Delta had their own special route in Shanghai airport to bypass a lot of the crowds either transferring or checking in for fight. I wouldn’t have made my connecting flight if they hadn’t. Plus my checked bags went straight thru to my final destination in china,n instead of having to pick up and re-check them in Shanghai."

Contras: "The fact that the lack of knowledge regarding international travel visas by the counter staff and supervisor meant that two days of the vacation were lost. Upon arrival in China the 144 hour travel visa was granted with no problem within minutes, but the U.S. staff was completely befuddled by the possibility. The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."
Contras: "Some of the video I was watching on my personal screen was low quality. Difficult to hear and kept breaking up/freezing so I would miss important words. At one point I had to rewind it because I had missed something important. Captions were not available for the movie I was watching."
Contras: "Didn't stick to zones when boarding customers. Gate agent basically let anyone board during pre boarding and priority boarding, why even offer it if you aren't going to make people adhere to the rules."

Contras: "LEX to ATL to GRU did NOT happen because the LEX flights were delayed to the point of missing the ATL connection. While Delta re-booked me on United, my flight arrived 3 hours later than scheduled (so transportation plans had to change), my bag did not successfully move from the Delta flight to the United flight (and was thus delayed in getting to GRU) AND once the bag was received, 4 shirts had been stolen. While a delay/theft claim has been filed with United, this could all have been avoided if the Delta flights had been on time."

Contras: "I received a frozen beer and no napkin. Beer began to overflow, and I sat there for about 10 minutes before another flight attendant walked by. Her attitude was less than desirable upon seeing the situation. Also my luggage never arrived in Singapore. Shanghai didn't have any notification, so I assume it was lost on the Delta end. Overall I am very disappointed and will be seeking a non-delta affiliate for my next trip."

Only thing that separated it from economy class was a curtain, and middle seats blocked off."

Contras: "For the whole journey I had a small child kicking, knocking, tapping behind me. Kept waking me up also nearly ten hours of whining. I was genuinely uneasy and uncomfortable for the whole trip. I think there should be a designated child with adult area as I really don’t think this is acceptable. It is stressful enough traveling for 30+ hours this really is not welcome."

Prós: "The staff was very friendly and professional. Entertainment selection was great. Food was exceptional. Flight attendents were attentive and served you throughout the flight."

Contras: "Plane loaded late then waited on the tarmac, arrived an hour later than scheduled time. This has happened to me on every one of the ten Lufthansa flights I have been on. Apparently they don't know what it is to be on-time."

Contras: "Booked way in advanced, paid extra to book upper deck on both; outgoing flight Miami - Frankfurt and return, but was bumped out of our seats. Spent 2 hours on the phone trying to book them again, and ended up on a lower deck on the Miami - Frankfurt flight, but re-booked on the upper deck on Frankfurt- Miami flight although not the side seats as I originally booked myself, but in the middle section. The entertainment's touch screen system is inadequate, not reacting to touch efficiently."
Prós: "I love that the connecting flight wasn't through Lufthansa. As the original flight was delayed so long, I had to fly home on another airline."
Contras: "That Lufthansa didn't actually get me on my connecting flight. That's what I didn't like about this flight: that it didn't happen."
Prós: "It was good the checking desk person was polite and done her best to put get me on to British Airways flight to get to my destination on the same day."
Contras: "But we waited tilll 12.30pm still flight took off at 14.00 and arrive in Dubai at 23.50pm instead of 22.30pm person went home who suppose to pick me up. I got to the place I was staying at 01.39am which was very uncomfortable. I will never fly again with Lufthansa Airline it use to like British Airways but definitely they have lost the customer touch."
Prós: "The crew was nice enough and the food was ok. Crew was great and served water and juice so many times during the flight! That was really good!"
Contras: "Movie selection was old and many movies aren't of interest. I tried to purchase something on the plane and the card reader didn't work. Lufthansa should update those card readers! Seats are becoming smaller and thinner which means more uncomfortable than they were already."
Prós: "I thought the crew was OUTSTANDING. The food was good and so was the entertainment. I LOVED the toilets being in the separate area downstairs. I also really appreciated the temperature: very comfortable and not freezing cold, but not hot either. Again, GREAT crew!!! Very pleasant flight!"
Contras: "The flight was late leaving and arrived late, which made my connecting flight experience a nightmare My connecting flight arrived late, and I nearly missed my next flight. I had to go through border control (and relevant queues), running up and down multiple never-ending multiple escalators, then take a train to change terminal only to find out the gate had been changed to the furthest one in the terminal. I literally RAN all the way from deplaining to boarding. It was a night mare. I would have missed my flight if I had walked instead of running"
Prós: "Huge, new plane, lots of helpful crew, personal entertainment screen, chairs laid back more than typical"
Contras: "Window arm rest didn't move up, boarding was crazy because YYZ airport doesn't have the format to hold lots of people, how to board was a bit confusing, and turbulance."
Prós: "The crew did a great job. It was a little slow to board and disembark but again I'm pretty sure it was the people."
Contras: "One of the crew members at the airport said I had to check my bag but a woman with a bigger bag went on the flight with out having to check her bag. The people flying to Cairo are horrible. Rude, disgusting, disorganized. Took forever to board and disembark the aircraft. If I didn't have to fly to Cairo for work I would never take this flight again in my life. Not much you can do as an airliner though, maybe just warn the tourists about the flight."
Prós: "Good food; comfortable seats; not a full flight, so plenty of space to move comfortably. I appreciated the restroom configuration which did not impede movement between seats (in the lower deck). Service was generally agreeable."
Contras: "The flight attendants were cordial, but a little grumpy at times. This may have just been a skewed impression because of language barrier. There really was nothing to complain about."

Contras: "Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

It's unnecessary to describe what I felt until the plane took off. They apologize constantly, but do nothing practical. a bae company. no me nor my freinds/family will go with KLM"

Add to the narrow seats is the design of the seat and armrests themselves and you don't have much space at all. No way I was going to be able to work on my laptop in this LATAM business class seat."

The boarding pass for our connection from Rio to Miami was not given to us in Sao Paulo when we had to manually check in. As a result, we had to exit the secured area in Rio to go check in manually again for our connection and then go through security and customs again."

Contras: "The flight at first had a 3 HOUR delay do to a "mechanical breakdown". We were told that they were going to bring another airplane from Rio de Janeiro. After the 3 hours passed they were only announcing in Portuguese to board the original plane. They never changed planes or provided a clear explanation to the passengers. Many of us refused to board. This was one of the worse experiences I have ever had. The staff was disrespectful and would not help us. We ended up taking another flight until the following night!!"

Contras: "Latam The website of Latam is useless. The services for people in broadcoast is so difficult that almost impossible (email, facebook, telephone, etc) In my case, i was in Africa and couldn´t change my ticket. My brother had to change it from Argentina."
