Contras: "That we were required to check our overhead bag because it weighed more than 15lbs. Meanwhile as we boarded nearly every passenger had an overhead bag that most certainly weighed more than 15lbs. Not sure what was going on there...also the seats are a little tight when reclined. Once the seat in front of me reclined back I had my knees in the back of the chair the entire flight and I am not a particularly tall person- made for a pretty uncomfortable 15hrs."

Contras: "Voo atrasou 2h30m por falha eletrica na aeronave e por atraso no deslocamento do aviao. Impactou toda a viagem em 17h uma vez que a qantas nao realizou a mitigacao do impacto. Curiosamente, pelo menos outros 3 voos longos ada qantas saindo de sydney eEu vou passar natal em poa entao tou de boas estavam atrasados no mesmo dia... parece que a cia esta com problemas cronicos de organização. Alem disso, a bordo, conectores de audio do sistema de entreterimento estavam com mau contato..... o sistema eh bom mas nao pode ser utEu vou passar natal em poa entao tou de boas utilizado! Demonstra falta de manutencao na aeronave e falta de preocupacao com o conforto dos clientes com estes pontos contra, sugiro buscar alternativas nas viagens a australia (air new zeland por exemplo)."

Contras: "They let us know by email little before departure that there would be a delay of 1h 15 min in our arrival to London. This made me uneasy from the very beginning that I would lose my London-Luxembourg flight. The crew in the boarding gate, only after much insisting, said they would make a note so that someone from Qantas would wait for me and help me get my London-Luxembourg flight no problem, but in the next stopovers (Melbourne, Dubai), there was no sign of this. Also, the delay in the end was 2h 20 min - and I lost my flight to Luxembourg."

A most Uncomfortable flight back to Melbourne Qantas take a look at Jet Blue. ..this should be your benchmark in Economy Travel...."

Contras: "The food was the worst long haul food I've ever had - a hot sandwich in a box. Really? For a 12 hour flight?! Entertainment was basic - not bad, but minimal. Seat recline was basic/minimal. If you're a budget flyer, pick a different airline. If you're a premium flyer, Quantas is fine."

The food is of the right portion .The crew is doing what they need to do for the passengers , quiet efficient , smile quite a lot thus making them feel more comfortable . Contras: "On-board crew may have been the worst ever and I've done that flight for YEARS. They only get grumpier, bossier, ruder and less helpful each time. Oh for another airline that flies direct LAX > MEL!!!"
Contras: "Why do they use QF flight number between Hobart and Sydney/Melbourne when it is operated by JETStar? As a customer I naturally expect I can get the same service from JETStar as Qantas.However I had to check out my heavy luggage at Sydney Airport, get a shuttle bus paying money and check in again at JETStar. The JETStar staff at the airport was not helpful at all! On the contrary she BLUNTLY told me JETStar is a different company from QANTAS. That's all. At Hobart Airport I was BLUNTLY told again I had to get my luggage at Melbourne Airport and check in again because they didn't have facility to forward the luggage to Qantas. I understand Qantas and JETStar are allied airlines and so they should give the same service as any other allied airlines. I need good explanation about these poor service from JETStar and Qantas. Thank you ."
Prós: "entertainment system was excellent, very up to date. broad selection of movies and TV shows, good selection of music as well."
Contras: "seats were abysmal for a 15hr flight. These are similar to the intolerable seats and spacing for domestic (US) flights on legacy carriers (although, American is now radically changing seat dimensions and comfort on the 737-800). For a 6hr flight, it is not tolerable. For a 15hr non-stop flight, it is punishing. The Quantas A380-200 is no longer a new plane. The seat hardware is tired, lumpy, stiff, back-breaking. This could be improved by more space per seat, but it is not. I am 6'3" (189cm) and not at all fat (75kg), but the amount of seating space was tight. Again, this is an inconvenience for a short flight, and absolutely punishing on a long, 15hr, flight. It was not a cheap flight, and surely some updated seats can be put in, with fewer rows. By contrast, I flew back to US on Air New Zealand, and was entirely comfortable on a 12hr leg on very modern and spacious seats in the lowest economy class seat, on a 777 plane for a much cheaper fare."
Prós: "Dinner was ok and afterwards were offered twix icecream bars and lindt chocolate balls. Entertainment system was good, although kids slept through flight so didn't notice. Crew was fantastic with both our kids."
Contras: "Having to transfer (nearly 30mins wait/travel time) from Perth international to domestic Qantas terminal."
Prós: "Good selection of movies to watch on my 14 hour flight. Seat was comfortable. Food was good and plentiful, staff members were great."
Contras: "It would be nice if food and drinks could be ordered via the tv screens. I tried to upgrade to business class but the qantas website kept giving me an account creation error message and would allow me to create it. When I got to the airport and asked the attendant he said it was too late to do it in person and I should have done it the day before. He was actually very nice, but it was frustrating that I tried to do it as far as a week early but was not able to because the website. I was still comfortable in the seat I was in but would have felt better if I even had a chance at upgrading."
Prós: "It was the first time I have flown internationally and not gone through immigration when leaving the US. So was fast. The transfer on the bus was good."
Contras: "Qantas needs some better salty snacks to nibble on, those soy crackers are like cat food. The transfer on the bus was not well marked or communicated to passengers. we were lucky to stumble onto it"

Contras: "Inbelievably chaotic boarding process for Kili to Dar leg. No boarding lanes so had to fight through the crowd. Was able to observe cleaning process at Dar stop, which was cursory and am sure there was no cleaning of seats of those who boarded at Kili."

Contras: "Transavia does not serve anything complementary, not even water. A flight between two countries that is five hours long must be better than this. I was not aware of Transavia doing that before I booked. I will never fly with them again"

When my parents were checking in for flight they asked the representative about meal selection and she didn't answer their questions properly and because of that my mom didn't get proper Hindu Vegetarian food on flight instead she got Egg omelet which she couldn't eat. She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

The flight attendants were rushing and will take a while if you needed anything. I felt like I was taking a bus with graffiti all over the place."
Prós: "We were fed a nice pasta meal and offered drinks twice. They also gave a muffin for desert. The flight attendants were very nice and attentive with cheerful smiles. I wish every airline had service this good!"

Contras: "LATAM was incredibly unprofessional, alarming, and entirely non-communicative. After a 3 hour delay that caused me (and tons of others) to miss a connecting international flight, LATAM’s telephone servers had the nerve to claim I was a no show and needed to pay them for my absence. This resulted in a long discussion where I was held on hold until they could adequately determine that yes i missed the flight because they held us late. This was the only way that i was able to avoid their charge to me for being a “no show.”"
Contras: "The email we received with our reservation it included a personal belonging and carry on, however at the counter they said in their system it was not registered like that and even though we showed them the confirmation email, they charged us for the carry on."

Prós: "A tripulação, particularmente a Sra. Betina, é a mais simpática e prestativa tripulação que já vi. Vinhos excelentes, servidos a vontade mesmo na classeeconômica. Os assentos são bastantes confortáveis. O pouso também foi perfeito."

Prós: "The people from British airways were incredibly helpful."
Contras: "British airways pushed the flight time which made the original connection flight from Heathrow impossible. They notified justfly the company who we used to book the flight and told them the reservation would be cancelled. Only justfly never did something about that. They did not notify us about any changes and when we arrived at the airport the lady at the counter told us we don't have a reservation even though justfly happily took our money. If it weren't for the BA staff who rebooked is through Air France we probably wouldn't have made it."
Contras: "Voces me venderam uma passagem as 9:47. Eu tinha apenas 3min para fazer meu checkin pois encerrava as 9:50. Não consegui, perdi o voo e o dinheiro. Palhaçada, irei entrar na justiça. Deviam alertar ou bloquear as vendas faltando pouco tempo para o checkout."

Prós: "I arrived safe and sound"
Contras: "Even though I purchased an exit row seat we were packed in like sardines. I know airlines have to make money but that flight was ridiculous. also, the plane was way too warm for much of the flight. Not sure if there was a problem with the air but for these prices...fix it please."

Contras: "The business class seats are economy class seats with the middle seat blocked, the leg space are same as economy."
Contras: "You get onboard and they do not even serve you water!!! You have to pay for even water!!! I was thirsty during the 2 hour long flight and really PISSED!!!"

Prós: "A more organized boarding. There was no one to assist when we arrived at the airport to check in and no one to guide us as to which line to go to when boarding. It is difficult being organized on our own in an environment which include cultures lacking organization or being considerate. All food required purchase. No entertainment provided."
Contras: "Crew needs to be more educated regarding disabilities such as head injury. Recovering from a concussion obtained when a car hit me while I was walking, but still sensitive to things such as light and noise. When asked to open the shade while landing there was a hesitation but at least they allowed me to leave the shade down at my window for this portion of the flight."
Prós: "I liked the crew."
Contras: "The food was terrible. Indian curry/ pasta and pizza. It was so cold in the plane that everybody had to wear something on their heads. The AC was blowing on my head for 11 hours. I have headaches, my sinuses heart and the food made me nauseous. It was impossible to sleep because of the low temperature."

Contras: "I missed my connection and was stuck for 12 hours. I was not warned that at nearly 70, I might need help to get to the gate on time. When I was late, the staff told me I should have asked for help.I had no way of knowing. I was told on another flight about the time limit. The lack of variety of entertainment and the quality of the equipment and the picture resolution made was a joke"
Prós: "A British Airline é uma empresa muito organizada, não houve atrasos e o serviço de bordo estava impecável, porém, tive problema com a minha tv, na verdade todo o bloco central perdeu acesso ao entretenimento e eles não conseguirem resolver ainda em voo."

Tive uma despesa a mais tendo que pagar o hotel em Londres estando com hotel pago em Paris"

Prós: "overall the flight was smooth. they had a video about collecting leftover coins, but but no one came by to collect, and no information as to where to leave your donation, so i just took my envelope and euros with me. price is the only reason I flew British airways again. If I could afford a better ticket I would fly a better airline."
Contras: "the armrest between the seats did not go up all the way. the storage area next to the window seat was dirty on the inside with food crumbs. after the recent news about bed bugs, i was uneasy on the flight. the actual flight was smooth, some turbulence but not the worst. they have absolutely the worst food ever. i have no idea what the awful purple stuff is, but they really should get rid of it. it is really unappetizing by the look of it. the carpet was coming loose in a number of places, just in our seat area. how long would it take to put some tacks in, or even some tape? bathroom was nasty and the sink was clogged.and full of water"

Contras: "Would only give us boarding passes to LHR, not to LAX so we had a short connection, a late plane and still had to stand in a customer service line in LHR to get boarding passes. Made the conncection but it was a long run through the airport."
Prós: "Flight staff were very polite and efficient. My seat (economy) was made to be more comfortable with a pillow, a blanket, and earbuds for in-flight entertainment. Enjoyed that I could watch movies and TV for free."
Contras: "The food smelled great but neither in-flight meal accommodated allergens- would like to see a gluten free choice. In-flight entertainment included games, on their touch screens, on the head rests. Whoever thought that was a good idea clearly did not test out the product. I’d rather spend a long flight without my rear-seated neighbor jabbing my headrest."
Prós: "First international flight. In flight entertainment was fantastic, plenty of new movie titles to view along with music, all complimentary. Staff was hospitable and frequently came by to reduce lighting and offer food and refreshments. I’m about 6’3” so my only complaint was no room in the middle seat but otherwise it was ok. I made it work."
Contras: "Not enough room between the rows for me to adequately stretch my legs out."
Prós: "The food was delicious and the meals spaced reasonably. The movie selection was very extensive. The crew was readily available for most issues that cropped up."
Contras: "An elderly disabled passenger was allowed to seat in closed off seating and store her canes under her seat causing them to jut out into the aisle. As she required a wheelchair to get on and off the plane they should have reseated her somewhere with more leg room and easier access to the restrooms"
Contras: "No USB port for charging phone and poor audio watching entertainment"
