Prós: "Booked a flight to Europe. Online check in easy. Luggage dropoff at JFK had no line for online check in. Flight was on time, my luggage arrived in my final destination fine (had 1 transfer). Crew was efficient and attentive."
Contras: "Spaces for seats in the economy class are shrinking. With Swiss Air, seems more so as the seats recline quite a bit which is of course good for an 8-9 hours flight. However if the passenger in front of you reclines their seats, you absolutely are forced to recline yours immediately, otherwise no one will fit. Flight attendants have to ask passengers to put the seats back from reclining during meal service so people can open the food tray and are able to access it, that is how much the seats tilt."
Prós: "Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They were all multi-lingual and ready to help foreign travelers. The food was good. The plain wasn’t overstuffed with people - actually there were enough open seats that everyone could have a little extra space. Will always check Swiss Air first for international travel."

(And I’ve been asking for). Maybe was bad luck but that’s really ridiculous. During the flight they didn’t brought water or something we had to call them."

Bording stuart said that my ticket is ECO LIGHT class and I don't have the right to any baggage. Worst thing of all was that the reason of my trip to Paris was my sister's graduation and half of the baggage was my formal wear and other half were presents for my sister! Your lack of transparency ruined one in lifetime special event- MY SISTER'S GRADUATION. I am very glad that you asked me for my opinion because I am using my free time to demand full refund, even tough the damage is much bigger than the cost of the ticket and it's irreplaceable."

Contras: "While I was on line to board, a flight assistant came to me and asked me if I was flying by myself. When I said yes. they upgraded me to business class. I boarded the plane and took my seat. Shortly before taking off, another flight attendant came to me, told me they made a mistake, and sent me back to my original economy seat (while I was holding my new business boarding pass that they gave me). When I told them they should remedy somehow their mistake, they said they did not have any other extra seat in business and that there was nothing they could do. They did not apologize. They were quite unprofessional and rude. I fly often and I have never experienced something so unprofessional and rude. Alitalia is far better than Swissair in terms of professionalism and of politeness. I will always discourage anyone from flying Swissair. Worst company ever."

Contras: "After a delay of about an hour on a very full flight the gate agent asked for volunteers to check their rollaboard suitcases. The gate agents then allowed those who checked their rollaboards to board before Zone 1,which was fine. However, a bunch of people without gate check stickers on the rollaboards were also allowed to board before Zone 1, which was aggravating. There was a long delay on the tarmac, during which we had to pull back to the gate or to a maintenance area before we finally took off. When we arrived in Vegas there was no gate for us to pull into, which led to another long delay of an already long and delayed flight."

Só consegui ser realocada em outro vôo da Gol para os Estados Unidos no dia seguinte, Tive que sair do aeroporto SantosDumond no Rio para Brasília em 19/dez à noite para só pegar outro voo no dia 20//dez pela manhã. Todas as despesas de hotel, alimentação e transporte em Brasília foram custeadas por mim. Não recomendo comprar passagens internacionais pela Decolar.com. Principalmente se houver mais de uma cia aérea envolvida na mesma viagem"

Contras: "The flight from. JFK to Barcelona was delayed as well. Their computers were down in Atlanta. So everyone had to have their name hand typed into a computer when boarding. Then the pilot said that our bags are usually weighed and computerized for even distribution on the plane. That system was also down, so we sat on the runway waiting for that problem to be fixed. When we arrived at Barcelona, I unpacked and discovered a jacket and pants in my luggage were wet. The only place that could have happened was at JfK during their rain storm and the luggage weight issue."

Contras: "My daughter was booked on this itinerary and was finishing her last leg of journey. Complete ticket was booked thru Delta Airlines. Her flight from Amsterdam to New York today operated by KLM, was delayed by few minutes. And Delta flight from JFK to Cleveland DL4084 was preponed by airlines. Result was my daughter was not allowed to board the aircraft. Worst was yet to come. Your staff at the gate offered her a flight to Cleveland for next day at 3:30 pm??? Means around 24 hours later. Is this how you behave with a girl of 19 years, asking her to stay at the airport. She was refused Hotel and Lounge stay by your team!!! Is this what you call customer services??? Obscene services is what I would like to term it as!!! My daughter asked them to give this is writing, which was refused to her. Why are your people scared to put it in writing if everything that you are doing is right by the Law??? I was left with no other option but to book her on American Airlines flight today departing at 9 pm to ensure that little girl doesn’t have to spend close to 24 hours at airport by paying $423. Who is going to bear the loss of money and mental torture that your team has given to me and my daughter???? Contras: "It was not acceptable and very disappointed that flight DL391 from SDQ to NY-JFK was delayed till it left at 4:40pm because there were no crew members to bring the aircraft to STO DGO the night before as it is usually done so that the aircraft sleeps over in las Americas. We were at the airport at 4:30am because the flight was scheduled to depart at 6:05am we were lucky to be able to rebook for a flight SDQ-ATL DL576 for the same day hoping to make the connection ATL-IND. Unfotunately that flight was rerouted to Charlotte due to bad weather conditions with a delay of 3 hrs before it landed in ATL thus missing our connection to INDI and had to sleep in ATL and leave the next day to IND thus missing a meeting commitment that we had in IND. We should and expect to be compensated by Delta for this."

They gave out immigration and customs papers out, but refused to give pen. I literally didn't had one and answer from the crew was like that. " Excuse me do you have a pen by any chance?" . "NO! I dont! asked them" pointing out to other crew members, -this is the best part- the female stewardess had clearly visibly a pen in her front shirt pocket! Sitting around and trying to kill time and no pen still. While busy with food and other stuff, i fell asleep. Then after a while when going to the restroom i asked the male steward if he would have a pen please, he pointed out they dont have any pens. ( please note he marked on his check board, who is getting which meal on the first class)"

On June 18th, I flew from RDU to JFK, NY. The plane was delayed in the runway for 1+ hours. As soon as I got out of the plane, I got a wheelchair (dur to my heart and back pain) and told the agent to go as fast as he can to Turkish airline terminal so we can catch the flight. We arrived at Turkish airline gate and the airplane doors were closed. I asked and almost begged to let us get in, but our request was denied. Therefore, we lost our connecting flight by Turkish airline to Istanbul, Turkey. We still had 20 minutes left from the departure. But Turkish airline said, they close the door 40 minutes before the departure. Around 12:15 AM (now is June 19th), I walked all the way from Turkish airline to JetBlue ticket counter (half an hour walk) and asked for next flight to Istanbul. After waiting for 2+ hours in the line, JetBlue indicated that next day flight to Istanbul is all sold-out and Turkish airline does not have any space from JFK to Istanbul. The agent said, why don’t you get a hotel and come back tomorrow morning and there might be a space for you. She said, most of time, there is a cancellation, and they should be able to accommodate us. Then, we have started to search for near-by hotel and after 2+ hours searching (all near-by hotels were sold-out) around 3:30 AM we found a Comfort-Inn which was 10 miles away. We got Uber and went to that hotel. The guy asked for $230+$50 deposit cash (no credit card) per person for only 6 hours as we had to be out by 12 PM. My son and I got 2 rooms very close to lobby (Room# C15 and C17). Once I got to my room, I saw flies and bugs in the corner of my room. At this time, I thought about getting a rest and try to connect my next flight to Istanbul which was extremely important to me. Once I got into the bed, it was extremely uncomfortable. The bed was uneven and bad. To make the long story short, I only slept one hour (at the most) due to around 6 AM, lots of kids in the lobby were making noise which I could hear them well. They only reimbursed one of the rooms and the other one they charged us as my son had the same problem as me. I did not argue as my goal was to get to JFK airport and get my ticket to Istanbul to see my nephew and his new wife. We came back to JFK airport and again stayed in the line for 2+ hours. Once it was our turn, the JetBlue ticket counter indicated; they don’t have anything from JFK to Istanbul. However, they have a flight from JFK to Boston and from Boston to Istanbul. I said, Let’s get that ticket, immediately The JetBlue agent said, I had to go to Turkish airline “Lost and Found” section to pick up my luggage and hand carry it back to JetBlue from JFK to Boston, then from Boston to Istanbul. This means, I had to go back again all the way to Turkish airline in another Terminal, get my luggage and bring it back to JetBlue. Due to so many people missed their flights, I had to wait for 2+ hours to get my luggage due to “Lost and Found” being so busy with so many lost luggage from other passengers. After 2+ hours, I picked up my luggage and took it all the way back to JetBlue (half an hour walk). I got to JetBlue ticket counter and re-checked my luggage going from JFK to Boston and Boston to Istanbul. I spent 3+ hours walking around and then I went to JetBlue’s gate for departure to Boston at 7:30 PM and then from there depart to Istanbul at 11:30 PM. Around 7:10 PM, the agent announced that, the plane which was supposed to pick us up has not arrived and there will be a delay. I asked the ticket counter agent, how long is the delay and he said, he does not know. Around 8:30 PM, the plane was arrived. The agent told me, by time they board us, it will be 9:00 PM and the soonest we get to Boston, it will be between 10:30 to 10:40 PM which Turkish airline closes the gate for their 11:30 PM departure to Istanbul. So, the agent said, there is no way we could make on-time and I will miss the flight from Boston to Istanbul. I went back to the ticket counter, and they said, they don’t have anything next day (Tuesday June 21st) and asked to stay in the hotel for another night. At this time, I was unbelievably shocked and stunned by JetBlue and how they treated me. Being in JFK airport and that bad hotel for over 30+ hours, not having my medications with me, I was at a point of falling due to being weak of not taking my medicines. I never thought this would happen to me. I decided to go back home to RDU, NC as we have missed my nephew’s wedding on June 19th and also missed the “Ceremony after the Wedding” on June 20th. There was no point for us to go to Istanbul as my nephew and his wife were gone to Honeymoon and all relatives were going back to their countries. We were extremely disappointed as it happened twice and the level of caring we received were extremely low. JetBlue agents did not even care that we lost connecting flights twice. They were all laughing, working very slow, talking personal and eating Pizzas while taking care of JetBlue tense customers. At this point, we decided to go back home to RDU, NC. This was due to being weak and having dizziness. The agent said, they will issue us 2 on way tickets which will be paid for. The plane was supposed to leave JFK towards RDU at 9:55 PM. Guess what, it left the airport at 11:30 PM, and arrives in RDU around 12:45 AM. As soon as I got home, I took my medications, passed out and slept for 11 hours. On Monday I rest all day as my heart and my body were aching. Yesterday, I was in contact with jet Blue (Code share department) as well as Kayak agency and other agencies for hotels and tours which all were cancelled due to JetBlue delays which occurred twice back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday. In summary, I lost my nephew’s wedding who is like a son to me. While I was in airport, we spoke on the phone, after the Wedding and after the ceremony. He said, uncle, without you, this wedding was meaningless to me and my bright. As soon as he said, I cried. It broke my heart and we both cried over the phone. These back-to-back delays happened only because of JetBlue. My nephew and I lost a big one here as I am still at lost and could NOT believe, this happened to me.

Ocorre que na conexão para amman, fizera overbooking, e os comissários do aeroporto, apesar de eu ter chegado antes e ser idoso, preferiram dar prioridade às mocinhas , e simplesmente me ignoraram, porém muito gentilmente me ofereceram um burger king.(isso é pra moleque de 10 anos) eu tenho 65 anos. O que me irritou, é a falta de atenção que eu e outro senhor recebemos. Totalmente groceiros e despreparados. Tinha horário para pegar um carro locado e hotel.

My experience with Turkish airlines has very disappointing. The crew members were not polite during the flight, I had kindly requested for a cup of water, three times! But I had not received a single cup, I will not be flying Turkish airlines again.

The food was good the movie selections needs improvement!

Flight was delayed by few hours

I got confused about flight time and day missed my flight and rescheduled it for another day they charged me again $260. Even I tried to call the airline 4 hours before nobody answered me . I don’t have time now to fight this case but I think it’s not fair…

Prós: "I landed SAW airport with another operator. Turkish airlines should have simply waited for me as my reservation with them starts in SAW airport. My previous operator sent my luggage to SAW as final destination, which means i have to cross passport control, collect my luggage and start the check-in process; given the time window between the flights, that was simply impossible. TURKISH AIRLINE's ground staff - transit team of SAW airport - Made it happen! I was requested just to wait, then they confirmed transferring the luggage and gave me respective tags! landed CDG - Paris to find my bag safe and sound :)"

From my bank the payment has been done yet to you. We had have double pay for one trip."

Voo com atraso, Equipe atenciosa. Entretenimento não se aplica. Tivemos problema com a liberação da bagagem, ficamos mais de uma hora na esteira à espera da bagagem sem nenhuma informação. O problema foi com a bagagem de todos os passageiros. Depois de uma hora e trinta quando formou-se uma enorme fila para reclamar as malas a bagagem foi lebrada. Até então nenhuma informação. Muitos passageiros habitantes de Munique foram embora e suas bagagens estavam na esteira.

Contras: "The Soviet Union wants its airline back. This was perhaps the RUDEST airline experience I've ever experienced. I was at Frankfurt (FRA) airport waiting to board Air Moldova Flight 864 to Chisinau (KIV). Due to a delay caused by Frankfurt security (and no fault of my own), I was delayed in reaching the gate. Since it was past my boarding time, I grabbed my bags from the conveyor belt once past security without having time to repack. I arrived at the gate and the extremely rude Air Moldova gate agent on duty yelled at me and demanded that I give her my boarding pass. When I told her I needed to pack, she yelled that there was “no time for that”. When I searched for my pass, she again yelled and said “NOW!”. When I told her that it was not my fault that I arrived late since there was a delay at security, she said “Not my problem!”. After she checked my boarding pass, I tried to repack and she again yelled “There is no time. Go to the bus NOW!” I once again told her that it was not my fault I got delayed and she again yelled “NOT MY PROBLEM”. In addition to rude employees, the airline is clearly in violation of safety regulations. The safety card in the back seat pocket was written in ARMENIAN – and Armenian only, thanks to the plane having been leased and Air Moldova not appropriately changing the safety cards. How did they expect people who read Romanian or Russian (the local languages) or English to understand it! On top of that, the plane was easily 20 years old or more and dirty. If they can't even keep a plane clean or have the appropriate safety cards, what else are they not maintaining. Do not fly this terrible airline!"

If you have 2 beverages on your tray and your neighbor needs to get out, you need a third person to assist (impossible to get out of your seat with 2 beverages in your hands (we tried it!) - just too narrow (even for a European Teenager) 7. It was not clearly visible who boards where. An Economy couple standing patiently in line at the Wong boarding line was sent back to the end of the long economy line - although NOBODY was in the business line"
