The fees charged by Avis for the vehicle were extremely high!! Avis in Mexico needs a better system for explaining the fees and why customers are charged an airport fee, rental phone fee ( which was never mentioned and not used by me), The fee for the small scratch on the vehicle was outrageous.Avaliado em 6 out. 2022

The information on where the rental Car pick up and the cost were incorrect information. We arrived at the pick up site we made the reservation for and there was no Avis site and they called to say that it was only for guests of a particular hotel and that we would have to pay extra to get the car. It cost us more than double the price we signed up for and cost us hours of our time and having to pay extra taxi costs to return the car. Very aggravating experience!Avaliado em 24 mar. 2022

Prós:Staff wasted 3 hours of my time and then didn’t honor my reservation unless I paid 3 times the reservation price. They are crooks and their service is horrible.Contras:They should honor reservations even if they can rent the car for more money to somebody else. Prós:The car was ready when we got there and we didn’t have to wait long.Contras:They price ended up doubling when we got there. Instead of paying the rate we were promised on Kayak they had many fees added on like a 20% airport fee that were not expected. The car rental concierge also tried to force me to purchase a $2,500 protection plan, I was arguing that the card on file wouldn’t allow that size of transactions and it wouldn’t work but he insisted. Finally he told me I could get full coverage for the car for 30% of the total price.Avaliado em 2 jun. 2021
