Prós: FoodContras: Shouldn’t be delayed
Lost Checked In BaggageContras: One checked in baggage with valuable content is not found at all. Connection flight was missed because of this. 5 hours additional time wasted. Jet Airways need to improve the staffing to help passengers.
Contras: Worst landing. Looks like pilot we in too much hurry.
Very inconsiderate Jet Airways ground staff at Vadodara and MumbaiContras: We had three kg extra in the hand bag . We paid the required extra baggage charges for the same. The checkin person at the Vadodara airport counter was very very inconsiderate and forced us to check in this hand bag in spite of knowing that the flight from Vadodara to Mumbai was delayed by two hours and that there would be very little time left to retrieve the hand bag and checkin with Lufthansa to continue our onward journey to USA. Arriving at Mumbai , it took one and half hours to get the hand bag on the belt after arriving at Mumbai and as was expected, we missed the Lufthansa flight! This Vadodara check in counter person had reportedly forced a few other travelers to check in their hand luggage and as a result all of them also reportedly missed their onward international flights. Just because of this adamant person, we were put in to extreme hardship and had to wait for 24 hours to get another flight to USA. The ground staff at the Mumbai airport was not at all cooperative in getting our off loaded checked-in baggage and they took 10 hours to retrieve our four checked in suit cases from the restricted baggage area. Jet Airways didn’t provide us any hotel accommodation in spite of requesting and we had to arrange for one on our own after standing at the Jet Airways International counter for 11 hours to get our suitcases!! Jet Airways must look into this problem and see that no traveler is inconvenienced due to totally unprofessional and inconsiderate ground staff both at Vadodara and Mumbai airports.

Jet Airways to Delhi from Chennai experiencePrós: Food, quick check inContras: Security that wraps a sticker around your luggage locks which cannot be easily removed. Senseless process. Boarding is chaotic and not organized. Passengers open and take their luggage from upper storage while plane is air borne and leave the luggage compartment open which can cause injury to others. Passengers still taking their seats while plane is taxiing. Don't understand how Jet allows this unsafe practice. Passengers take off their seat belts as soon as the plane lands. Every passenger is in a hurry to deplane and have no consideration for other passengers who are seated ahead to deplane first.... Ridiculous mannerisms and this ain't an airline issue
Contras: Too high charges for extra baggage 15 kg Rs 8500/- If I had bough extra ticket it would be cheaper which is around 5k Statistically does not make sense Was not transparent when bought ticket in US Two different sets of rules
POOR experienceContras: Purchasing the agent, There are clear rules by the airlines that if paid in dollars then a certain weight is allowed in the luggage. I paid in dollars, the agent under the hood purchased the ticked in Rupees, therefore i did not get the higher weight limit. Horrible agent and horrible service!
Prós: The flight from Delhi was late for 1.5 hours, as a result of which I missed the connecting flight to Guwahati from Kolkata. I lost one day.
Prós: Great service, check-in baggage plus cabin baggage speed up to 15 Kgs + 7 Kgs. Food and drinks served in the duration of the flight. Service with a smile and to top it off, the aircraft took off and landed on time. The average American traveller will be onward with this sort of air travel. Jet airways American counterparts can also learn a thing or two about how to operate an airline and not just froth in the mouth thinking about $$.
Tightest and smelliest plane you will ever be onPrós: The staff was courteous and helpfulContras: This is by far the tightest plane I have ever been on. If you were not making an effort to sit perfectly up straight you were hitting your knees. Beyond that the food and people who take this ride will be the strongest smelling of any you will ever be on. Bring a face mask and a good smelling something to breathe through or you will feel sick to your stomach. Good luck flying this horrible airline. I feel terrible for the people who have to crew these flights.
Very good valuePrós: Narrow seats and not much legroom (but I am tall), but well priced, food and luggage included in fare, on time. All in all a good experience for good price.
Prós: Very new and comfortable Aircraft. Good and healthy breakfast. Good and Efficient service by courteous staff.Contras: Terrible restrooms in PNQ. Slight amused to walk to the aircraft in the rain with hand baggage, bus service from the Gate to the Aircraft will be really good. Very long wait for Baggage in BLR (30-40 mins) for a local flight.
