Resort fee is way too high for what's offered. Way!! And they nail you for 8 dollars a day parking. Such a rip!
Very poor customer service. From the moment we arrive. Customer service at the frint desk was poor and rude.
It was clean and comfortable and located right on the strip. It was a little rundown.
some staff snell of smoke everywhere. prices of small items, [like water], no pay out in gambling, agree of rooms eqipment and furniture, operability of safe, could not get a cup of hot water from Starbucks,
Gym, Tournament of Kings, comfy bed Pool not that clean & not open long enough. Room could have been more thoroughly cleaned. Shampoo, soap could be better quality.

Proximity to the strip was great. Beds were great. Outdated. Was here for the basketball games.....Sports book employees seemed not to be happy. Had to make hundred dollar bets to get a drink ticket. Beers by the sports book were $9.50. ridiculous.! Probably will not stay again because their are better values out there.
Shower. Clean. Nice bed. Room had a view of the parking lot 2nd floor, disappointed. There was a loud rumble equipment noise all night, maybe air conditioning unit outside the window. No literature on Strip in room.

When I arrived there were 300 people waiting to check in and even though there were like 15 check in stations only 3 people helping. 2 hours later when I got my key and got up to my room my upgraded king was not upgraded at all nothing special nothing different to include no fridge and an old TV with a very bad picture. It's just a hotel nothing special
Everything was faine but your garage and valet parking I didn't like the fact that your parking was to far from casino/hotel and we had to walk along way and your valet parking guys didn't act professional at any time they wer full before 7
A fridge should be standard in all rooms not an upgrade. There is no longer free parking, parking rates were a bit much.
The restaurants were delicious, the hotel is huge, and the staff were great. The pool complex is awesome, and the lazy river was very fun. Highly recommend Morimoto's restaurant and the new Crush. Resort Fee: This needs to go away. Our room did not have a mini fridge or a microwave (kind of annoying). A little on the small side.

I liked the fact that our room did not smell like cigarette. I like the comfort of being able to use the monorail from the hotel. However, the room was "basic!" I was expecting the room to have some luxury. For the amount of money spent on that room I was expecting more. I dislike the fact that we were billed $10 per day for parking. Our room keys continusly gave us problems. They wouldn't open our room or did not work at the parking garage.
I liked the overall feel. The staff in every area is great. I felt that they were way overcharging for all the extras such as food. Also, the restaurants had very limited hours.

Beautiful room. Price was right. Casino smells like an ashtray. Lacking in cocktail waitresses. It was a very long walk down the hallway to our room. (Elevator was closest to room 401 our room was 521) Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom was unvented and lacking in privacy. Won't stay there again. Excalibur was so much better.
Because it was fight night I was glad to see the extra security around the hotel. Sleeping rooms were clean. Manager in cafe did take off the 18% gratuity for large groups after we complained about service. Bad experience in breakfast cafe with service. We poured our own coffee refills, food was mediocre. Because it was fight night hotel was very busy and people screaming down hallways late night. The guests don't care it is a non smoking sleeping room. You could get high just walking down the hallway. It is time for the hotel to replace mattresses and pillows they are hard as a rock. Barely any water came out of the shower heads. Too many other hotels to choose from. Probably won't be back.
The staff I got a extra 139.00 charge to my card credit from the hotel. I contacted the hotel and no one could tell what the extra charge was for. I asked to have it to be removed and as of this morning, one week after we left nothing has been done.
The night clubs really rock. The restaurants are outstanding. Everyone was fantastic there. The shows and the clubs are edgy and not appropriate for kids. We went for our 25th anniversary and I was afraid perhaps I should have spent more. Wow, we had such a great time. It was the memory I was hoping to make. For the price, it is a great value!
Linens, beds, and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel has a cool look. Rooms were dated and the roller coaster could be heard in the middle of the night in the room. There aren't many bars.....we had to choose between Mexican dancing and a piano bar where they were charging a cover, even for hotel guests.
Room was large with a comfortable bed. Hidden fees "resort fee" were added at check out even though I prepaid online. This was not disclosed by kayak online or at the hotel at checkin. This practice is deliberately deceiving and should not be allowed. I don't know how they get away with this.

Well taken care of. Excellent bar tender -- Tina. Clean rooms. Nice pool. Food at the restaurants, anything from the stores, drinks at the pool were all way over priced. Considering the money they're making from the gambling and shows, everything was easy over priced. Allthough, I think the strip had gotten very expensive. It's not the old Vegas...

I took my best friend for his birthday. We spent the night at the New York New York aND from checkin to check out it was awesome. The times square piano bar was where we ended our night singing at the top of our lungs and that was after eating some of the best pizza in Las Vegas! Also the rollercoaster is pretty awesome too. Worth the money. Obviously the smoke is a turn off but they allow smoking in all of the casino's there so that is hard to get away from. Also War yep good old fashioned higher card wins is a game they have there but some nights it is closed that sucked.
The hotel was outstanding, as usual. Clean and efficiently operated, the staff takes pride in this hotel. Make your hotel reservation at any website but Kayak. My choice for airline reservations, their partner group for hotel stuff---not so much A drink coupon with our room upgrade never materialized. The state of Nevada now mandates that parking along the strip costs 10 bucks a day, so plan to walk a lot. Casino is run by corporations that focus only on profit. Likely will opt for Indian casinos over any Nevada venue going forward. (Will still run to the Nevada border for ammo since I live in Cali.)
Didn't like the roller coaster view (patrons screaming). Light sleepers should request a room farther away from the roller coaster.

The staff is very professional but they need more effort to keep happy the guest this is Vegas come on We are a couple celebrating our anniversary and we was listening music not that loud and I perfectly remember the time was 9:22 pm when the security knocks my door saying someone complained about the music come on this is Las Vegas and Also the floor on the restroom was so dirty they don't clean from the previous guests I have pictures to proved
Rooms are good and bathrooms are dated. They are remodeling so you here construction noise every morning at 7am which gets old. Decent hotel of you get a good price on the room I would recommend it. Construction Noise.
The location is the only positive Our first room had mold all around the tub and loud music next door. We asked to be changed. The second room also had black mold all around the tub and was generally very dirty. The towel bar fell off. The generalncleanliness was terrible. The shower would never give you hot water. Warm at best. It looks like they have stopped all maintenance on the rooms. Never ever again.

Facility is nice and location is premium especially since we were attending a concert at the T-mobile Arena which is right across the street! It took us almost an hour waiting in line to check in which was totally unacceptable. This was on a Saturday afternoon and every time we walked passed the check in area the whole weekend there was huge lines. The hotel really needs to look into hiring or somehow streamlining their process. They do offer online check in and it is a new service so they need to advertise it more so people know about it.
We love this hotel because it's the first one we stayed at in Vegas and we have such great memories there. Having said that, we will not be staying here again until after renovations. We understood that there would be banging, noise, closed pool and pub, but what we didn't know was that we just wouldn't enjoy our trip at all. I want to keep fond memories of this hotel, so we will return after renos. They seem to have a great plan for the future of this hotel and we are super excited. We come to Vegas multiple times a year. It was the first time we used the concierge and they were very knowledgeable and friendly. And the massage that I received on the casino floor while my boyfriend was playing blackjack was fantastic (not something I would usually do, but when in Vegas, right!). Renovations, but understand the need for them!
Our Monaco sweet was nice! When we first went to stay at Monte Carlo we had booked one of their "standard" upper level rooms. When we checked in I was very disappointed by the condition it was in. It was very old, didn't look like it had been updated since the 80's. Not very comfortable at all. We changed rooms and upgraded (for an extra $120!) but I feel it was worth it as the first room was bad. Tiles were falling off the wall and all of the wood furniture was chipped. They also added an extra charge of over $400 to my card when we checked in. It got resolved later but was still annoying to deal with.
Has class and sophistication. The staff is wonderful And the location is perfect. Great food and service.
The MO is an unexpected and beautiful facility that is everything Vegas is not. If your looking for sanctuary from the 24/7 insanity of Vegas the MO is that and so much more.
This is an island of paradise among the insanity of Vegas. The attention to detail is without equal. There is no casino which provides a number of benefits. The walk to the room is very short, the line for a cab is non-existent, Starbucks is right by the front door, there is no line at check-in, and you are never hustled by prostitutes, pimps, or marketers. In my opinion, this is the only place to stay. It is expensive for a very good reason. In this case, you get exactly what you pay for... I found no fault with this luxury hotel. The water pressure is great, service is prompt, and the concierge is able to achieve monumental feats on very short notice.
Tranquility and truly friendly and helpful staff. On the strip with readily accessible gambling but structured in such a way that you can relax when you choose. minor maintenance issues with an otherwise wonderful room.

Everything was gorgeous - the staff as well as the entire hotel. There's no casino in the hotel so it does provide a haven for when you need a break from the frenzy that is Las Vegas. The bed was awesome! Location is very central on the strip. I would definitely recommend.
Sevice is very good. But sometimes too good just makes you uncomfortable. The room is very nice, the tub in bathroom is gorgeous. Overall, the gotel is worthy to live. Even the price is a little high, so I would recommend to live when there are some special deals.
Loved that it was non smoking and non gaming! Beautiful pool, free yoga class and close to everything. The restaurants were also very good.
The Mandarin Oriental is great for travelers who come to Vegas for a comfortable, luxurious stay and want to avoid the crowds, the smokey casinos, and the noise of the strip that is present at other hotels. The staff there is incredibly professional and courteous and very well trained. We had an amazing stay and every part of our experience was top-notch - and we are seasoned travelers who often stay in nice hotels. I appreciate too that the entire hotel was non-smoking. The prices are high, but you often get what you pay for... however I think the spa prices, even for basic services, are quite steep - such as $120 for an express pedicure.

I liked that you were in Vegas but this hotel was a little eacape from the craziness I didn't like that our room faced the busy bridge from the shops and Aria so there was noise all night long
I liked the hotel. It was a great value! Kayak advertised the resort fee as "optional." It was Not!
we were supposed to get a nonsmoking room but they gave us a room which you could easily smell the left over smoke inside. it took them 2 hours to change our room after more than 10 times us calling the front desk. the bathtub was full of hair. I had to go get the cleaning lady and come clean it again. terrible experience overall. they do no care about the customer experience because these companies are too big to care about individual people. I will NEVER put my foot in Tropicana "hotel" and I would recommend everyone boycotts these hotels with low quality service.

Was great for the price. Enjoyed the stay. Most everything was as expected. Room was too noisy. More so than any other hotel I've stayed at in Vegas. Could hear the people in the next room very clearly.
I like that its more quiet than the casinos on the strip. We have a toddler and it seemed like a good option given the location. Not a place for someone who likes to gamble to stay. The casino is tiny and the sports book was a joke. Very limited dining options. The rooms in the club tower were so humid it was unbearable. It was on the 60's when we were there. No matter how low you set the thermostat, it still felt humid. Maid said the club tower is like that this time of year.
I do not like the resort fee. The hotel was very good.
The hotel lobby was renovated with a modern look plus can't beat the price. The room was decent, it had all the necessary amenities that you would need for any hotel. Overall, a nice hotel that provides all the basic things needed without having to overpay. The bathroom definitely needs an upgrade. And, also, adding more gambling tables (i.e. Craps, Poker) to the casino would be a bonus.
the room was great and house keeping was very accommodating. i appreciate that valet was complimentary the only thing i would say is i felt like we were forced to upgrade because the front desk rep made our original room sound horrible. i get that they want to get upgrade for sales purposes but i shouldn't feel like my room was going to be horrible.
Well as soon as I walked in the door I was hit with an $84 resort fee, not really the properties fault because that's the way entire industry is moving but still it's annoying when you think that you have already paid in full. The casino had lower minimums, but it wasn't exactly a place I wanted to stay and gamble for a while. The room seemed sufficiently clean. We were placed in a smoking room on our first night despite having requested a non-smoking room, when we brought this to the attention of the check in host - they stated that it is a request, and not a guarantee that we would get a non-smoking room... we went up to put our bags in the room, and were repulsed by the disgusting smell. We went to the front desk again and explain that we would have a difficult time staying in the room with the intense disgusting odor, but the host seem to laugh it off and told us to smoke marijuana in the room now that it is legal in nevada. This was not an appropriate response in my opinion, however there was nothing we could do unless we wanted to sleep on the Las Vegas strip!
