Prós: Very easy to check in using self check in terminals. We could skip the line. We also liked picking our vehicle.

Contras: The line to get cars was at least 30-49 customers. There were 5 reps working but for some reason 3 reps walked away leaving 2 reps. This was so unprofessional and everyone in line started complaining. After about 20 minutes one came back out which still all should of stayed to checkin the customers.

Prós: Vehicle selection and ease of drop-off.
Contras: Tried a self-checkin kiosk for the first time and found it challenging. There was a long, slow line for the check-in counter, so I persisted after a couple failed attempts. Some of the error was mine, but the kiosk UX did not help me understand what was happening when it was processing at a point or two. A promising idea but could be improved.

Prós: Drop off was not "super easy" there were issues. It was not unacceptable though.
Contras: The pickup I rented at first, I kept only 2 weeks because it had high mileage and had been beaten half to death by previous renter(s). I exchanged it for another and it was cleaner, slightly lower mileage, but the check engine light kept coming on. Also F150's have door code unlock but the vehicle security code sticker had been removed from the glove box. It's nearly impossible to reach the location staff via phone. You *might* get someone to return your call the next day if you get through to a fluent english-speaking customer service person.

Contras: Really no interaction or assistance at pick up. Car was not as clean inside and outside as it should have been.

Contras: The line for picking up the car was insane. Enterprise, National & Alamo were all combined into one line for one counter with only a few people working. I had to wait in line for over an hour just to check in. Then the car we were given absolutely reeked of weed and clearly hadn't been cleaned thoroughly -- there was sticky residue on the seats and food crumbs on the floor. Won't be renting with Alamo again.
