It was a complete rip off. You book the car for one price. Then when you pick it up they double that cost with insurance. Then they hit you with a £500 deposit that they take. Of course when you drop the car off and leave then they invent some scratch that doesn't really exist and you end up paying some additional fee for their invented scratch. It's a massive con and rip off. I have photos of the car to show the condition of it and the scratch they are claiming was on the check out inventory.Avaliado em 29 ago. 2023

What a terrible experience. Inflated prices for substandard vehicles. The car that we were given was a gutless wonder! It had a very hard time getting on the motorway! I had reserved a larger SUV but when I arrived, the vehicle was not available. In order to get the same size vehicle (actually not as big), I had to pay an additional fee to upgrade to a higher class vehicle. My flight was delayed for one day. The given telephone number for SIXT was non responsive. Found another number on google and reported the delay. When I arrived the next day, my car was gone and the only option offered was for me to rent a larger, more expensive car at 70% extra on top of what I initially was going to pay. Misleading "Register Early To Choose Vehicle Early" emails. Long line @ check-in. Long walk from check-in counter to actually pick up vehicle. Rented Pugeot SUV was a disappointment.
