very confortable hotel and very well located, close to the center and shopping area but very quite there were many events ( conferences) into the hotel, so sometimes was difficult to reach the reception because the hotel lobby was used as meeting point for participants
I liked the atmosphere and the hotel staff The beds are hard like beton and we felt really uncomfortable whensleeping
Very clean and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Location is great - near train and subway stations, can walk to restaurants, parks and lake very close. English TV limited to CNN, Bloomberg, and BBC...other stations in German could not even be close captioned in English. Breakfast at hotel was expensive at 18 euros but may not be bad if you consider it a brunch.
Sound proving of the rooms are very marginal.
Modern bathroom, excellent breakfast, perfect coffee (traditionally roasted, thus your stomac enjoys it also!), central location yet quiet street in nice area No negative remarks whatsoever.
It was very close to the conference centre where we had our meetings. It was part of a bigger complex which wasn't very atmospheric.
The Hotel staff were extremely helpful and spoke very good english. The location was very good - in a nice quiet area where we (myself and 12 year old daughter) felt completely safe walking in the evening. We didn't use public transport during our stay as we found the main attractions (Christmas markets) were about a 10-15 minute walk away. The room was very clean and nicely decorated and had everything we required. The breakfast buffet was well worth having - well presented and plenty of choice. There is nothing bad I could say about the hotel
The rooms look nice and the facilities are alright. The personel is really helpfull. Moreover, the location of the hotel could not be better if you want to go to Hamburg for a citytrip or for business. The room was a bit dusty and although the breakfast was nice, it was simply too expensive. It was also a pitty that there were only German channels on the television. This was, however, partly compensated by the free wifi.
