comfort of bed, quality of bathroom, outstanding free breakfast, afternoon cookies and wine. Attitude of ALL staff. Quick, flexibility of owners. Opportunity to meet owners. Conversation in the morning and evening at the dining room table. Location
I frequently travel to Washington on business and tried this guest house. It is literally across the street from the Metro. It is very clean, very dignified, very quiet, very welcoming, and very relaxing. I will return. I liked everything. Two things that I liked, but others may not like:1) There are no TVs in the rooms or on the premises. There is wi-fi. 2) Room 114 is next to the kitchen. You smell coffee at 6:30, so if you are not a morning person take note.
The owners were amazingly friendly and wonderful. After a day of delays at airports, these people were welcoming and showed a great side to DC.
Nothing Parking terrible with multiple restrictions, not clean, door knob fell off,
Hotel Employees are very nice. Courteous, and go out of their way to make sure we were satisfied.
The house was a beautiful combination of old and shabby chic. The rooms are beautifully decorated The breakfast was exactly what was needed to walk out the door with. Parking was good in a church location behind the house The location of the subway system was a little walk away. We did not mind so much however those that are not walkers might not like it so much.
It was a beautiful home built in 1890. Still has its old charm. The owners were very sweet, made us feel at home. Hotel employee covered every detail. This location is perfect. About 2 miles from the heart of DC. Uber/lyft about $5-$8 ride even No
This 19th century Victorian style house is absolutely charming. But even more important, the owners go beyond their duties to ensure that you have a wonderful experience in DC and to make you feel home. Wireless internet free. I knew it as it is in the description, but it might be a discomfort to some people, the bathroom is shared. It was very clean and I did not have to wait for anyone to get out, but I can see that it might be an issue at times.
Inn went above and beyond to cater to our Passover needs. Friendly clientele - mostly foreign. Parking in DC is abysmal in general. Inn offers limited parking at 30/night. No one in reception when I checked in. The phone number I had been provided was a remote cite and they couldn't help. Breakfast was the same continental every day.
The staff was lovely and incredibly helpful. The room was clean and homey. The location was great right next to the zoo and the metro.
A/C, breakfast, very convenient location - near our daughter's apartment, National Zoo, busses and Metro, Starbucks; good restaurants within walking distance; nice patio to relax on Weird mattress - too bouncy/soft, towels too thin, carrying suitcases up to third floor, lack of electrical outlets
