I loved the Queensbury Hotel for it's character and charm. It has personality- and reminded me of my grandmother's apartment on the upper east side of Manhattan- sophisticated and simple. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable- the pool and "spa" pool were refreshing. We will definitely stay there again!
The restaurant staff was very good The rooms are run down. Didnt like having to call the front desk and then being transferred to your internet provider, just to get the wifi set up on our portable devices. The bathrooms are 20 years past needing updating.
Beautiful architecture, breakfast. Location. Bathrooms very small. Room located over nightclub.
nice and clean large room, large parking space
We liked the owner. Very accommodating & it was apparent he wanted us to be happy. He knew the area -- State park was 2.3 miles that way... restaurants -- that way... and tried to be very helpful -- even offered to get bags from trunk of car to room. Nothing we found to be off putting at all. Would return if it fits our plans in the future.
The rooms were recently updated and owner was very accomadsting The beds could have been better
the rooms were all redone and very clean. the owner went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. great price too! nothing
Definitely the staff! Very friendly and helpfull. We left something in our room and the receptionmanager offered to meet us halfway on our way back (app.50 miles) or go to the postoffice to send the parcel to The Netherlands. No
Quiet room, clean and new bathroom, spacious, extremely friendly staff/owner. Floor a bit noisy from the hardwood under the carpet in the center of the room.
Hotel employee the new owner, is a great guy. Very friendly & willing to go the extra mile to make your stay a fun one.
The man at the front desk named Greg was very helpful and understanding. Stained Sheets, Stained Mattress, Safe didn't work, NO WI-FI IN ROOM!, Metal Frame Sticking Out Of The Bed, The Room Smelled, TV Reception Looked Horrible, Bathroom Sink Was Clogged.
For an older facility, it was clean and friendly. The housekeeping staff did a great job, unecessarily remaking our bed, vacuuming, emptying the trash,( we were there for 4 nights), without touching anything else. Give them a gold star for their work. The morning breakfast was too sugary for me, as I'm dabetic. It would be nice if there was Cheerios as a 3rd cereal.
129 for a two bedroom unit is a deal... close to the highway... Dirty Rooms slow service from apparently un interested employees we were only there for a night but out neighbor who was very nice and offered my a glass of 15 year scotch to take my mind off how dirty the room was said that he bags were definitely gone through after house cleaning serviced the room. also house cleaning did a shitty job he said makeing the bed with dirty sheets and not vacuuming. the office gave him an attitude when he spoke to him about it... but did i mention 2 room suite for 129....
