The location is excellent. Rooms are spacious. The SPA is quite nice, even if the Jacuzzi is a bit small. There is a large construction site aside the hotel right now. During the day it is quite noisy at the pool area.
Food Choice and quality, Pleasant staff, good range of facilities for all. No facility in room for making cup of tea or coffee, Room service delivery did not match menu description/order.
Nice setting, well renewed rooms, clean and modern fitting, good meals, close to the beach and the city. Not very good swimming pool, a bit unfriendly staff, very noisy youth discotech in the neighbour, loud music until 5 am! Very expensive compared to service!
Excellent location in walking distance of town and next to large conserved coastal walking/cycling/swimming area. Good and varied food in large quantity. Friendly and helpful staff. Large and clean pool. At present there is building next door and resultant noise seven days a week.
nice outdoor pool small rooms no bath very expensive. the rooms were only really 3 star. we did check out some other hotels while there aka hotel park and it is worse. the overall standard of hotel is not great. you couldnt call any of them luxury. i would recommend it as the best of the lot there and if you are going to rovinj, then stay there. the hotel is quite functional, the spa leisure centre is very basic. it was adequate but not luxury.
tenbis hall, swimming pool, iacucci, sauna
The hotel is surround with big pine trees, very near is a veru nice beach, vith clear see. From hotel directly to old town Rovinj along the seaside you can go by foot.
The park in front of the hotel, path's for walking arround hotel.. no menus or other messages in slovenian launguage(2-3 bigest visiting nation)
the staff are always helpful, i have used this hotel many time, the grounds are loverly in the summer, the new building works next door, the pool complex needs updating, the restuarant is poor as is the choise of food, it is only very average,
Hotel very nice, situated in a lovely setting.
The hotel was very nicely done. The design, the pool, etc were very enjoyable. The service was terrible around the pool and for lunch by the pool. In a luxury hotel, people expect service and it was very disappointing. Also I did not like the setting of the thermastat not to go lower to 21. It took a day and a half for our room to cool off to a reasonable temperature. It was uncomfortable sleeping the first night because the room was so warm!!!
Great location, in walking distance to the city center of Rovinj, still right at the beach and therefore for swimming. Nice pool and restaurants.
Excellent location, staff very helpful at all times, beautiful hotel, great food, Wine Vault one of the best restaurants in Istria with excellent choice of wines. Highly recommended Very high price
The rooms are luxurious with outstanding views across the bay to Rovinj. This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in with easily the nicest bathroom I have come across in a 5 star hotel. The Spa is slightly small for such a large hotel.
Wonderful setting with tremendouus views. Hotel staff very helpful and service excellent.
Very freindly and helpful staff, great food, wonderful location.could not fault anything. Look forward to returning next year
Cleanness and quick assistance in case of minor problems. Flexibility when asking for reservation changes. The renovated apartments are good and offer sufficient space compared to similar apartments in the region. There are extra charges for any sport activities: Even the basket ball area needs to be reserved and its usage is charged by the hour. The pool and the water slide is closed after 18 hrs and opens late. The staff at the restaurant's receptions seems to be not informed about prices. We paid 3 different prices for the same standard self service breakfast on 3 different days.
Nice apartments and I think the taxiboat was very nice. The restaurant Terrace was not so good, either the food or the staff.
terrace is good. staff is kind. supermarket is inside of resort. I booked renew apartment for 3 person. It's samll. it's not for 3 person. swimming pool is also small for all guest include camping car area's guest. there is just one pool. I was so disappointment with beach. kitchen also small.we have to eat terrace because, kitchen is samll. If you want to make real food, It will be difficult. I stayed just 2 days. I don't want to stay more. I changed hotel. It is awful experience to me.
The fasility`s of the amarin The apartment was small and dark, nothing like the picture on the website.
The apartment was small but nice, convenience of restaurants, pool, and the proximity of the beach.
Studio appartments are clean , well equipped with a good size balcony and are good value for money The pool facilities were grossly inadequate for the number of users. It was not apparent on the website that the tourist village was so large and in addition the pool facilities would be shared with the adjoining campsite, (in excess of 500 people). Also the concrete area surrounding the pool was a health and safety hazard.I witnessed 1 adult slip in front of my eyes and bang his head.
Lokalizacja apartamentów na dużym zielonym terenie. Każdy apartament ma swój taras i meble tarasowe. Bardzo czysto. Poor air-condition. Very poor breakfasts. Room cleaning and towel change only once a week. Very small swimming pool and a dangerous slide, on which my son broke a tooth. My friends have the troubles with their booked room. They got a room in a very bad condition, fortunately only for one night.
The location Too long time to check-in (two hours)
quit environment, nice for family with the small kids, not busy on the beach, accommodation-good value for money seaground was too rocky, not easy access to the sea, especially for the kids
Newly refurbised and nice on the eyes. Lots of open areas and because it's on an island it's very scenic. Felt very much like a 4-star hotel. Great place for kids because of the rocky beaches and many pools. There was no concierge so I kept having to bother the front desks clerks with questions about activities. That might have been becasue it was the off season.
The pools are quite good with see water and normal water - not deep- perfect for childrens. Because there was only one hotel on that island the prices were prity big and the weiters ospitality was very poor. The sports field for basket was very poor, almost unuseable.
location, sea , atmosphire kitchyen at al carte restaurant
The situation. The island enabled us to escape from all the package tour clients staying in the hotel. To be able to go to Maskin ,spend time by the sea and then lunch at Lavande provided idyllic holiday experience The large communal dining area for breakfast. We would have been very unhappy had we booked half board and had had to eat there in the evening as well. We were not aware that the hotel catered for such package tours and in our opinion it took away from its 4* rating.
I didn't get a double room, although I requested that in my reservation (we got two beds instead)
Loved our stay at Hotel Istra!!! We had an amazing balcony with a sea view! The staff was very friendly & helpful! Hope to get back there some day. I have already recommended the Hotel Istra to several friends!
Everything outside the hotel itself is wonderful (but bring watershoes for the rocks as you enter the water). The hotel interior is ok but certainly not luxurious. The rooms are small. I would give good value for a couple but poor value for a family since you end up paying for two rooms. On the other hand all the hotels in the area seem to not have family rooms so I gave fair value. The worst part of the hotel is the buffet restaurant. If it is busy, the din is deafening. The staff spend all their time throwing around cutlery. I would recommend sitting across the way in the other room. You don't have much choice for breakfast but I would recommend eating supper at Lanterna or in Rovinj (make a reservation).
Location of hotel was good and our room had a beautiful view over the sea and the swimming pool. Smallish but well equipped with balcony. The dining experience. We didn't book half board thinking that we would try out the various restaurants on site. During our stay though only the main, self-service restaurant was open. This was not a good experience - could be likened to school dinners or a staff canteen!
Big, comfortable rooms, nice place, good food.
It was excellent value for money, the location, the tranquility of the surrounds, it was all very good. The safety around the pool area, the tiles were very very slippery and the small tiles around the edge of the pool were breaking away and were just left and falling into the pools. I slipped and had a very nasty fall walking around pool.
The great renovated apartments are the best choice for our holiday.Very sympatic recetionist Jelena and Deana gived us all impotant information where is the apartment located. The complex is big but you will have all equipement as at home! Also sport activity inought!Nice breakfast!Higly recomended!!!
beach! room ok We had a little dispute with the staff during the evening about the air conditioning. Didn´t understand that windows and door should be closed to make AC working. There was no understanding from staff regarding our lack of info. We were just told that it works and with an attitude that we were stupid. My wife asked them to show how, but no way. We can understand that it must be 100´s of guest aski
Nice, relatively new tourist settlement Distance from historic centre, restaurant not appealing at all! Signs in the complex are poor as well - it is a big settlement and requres signs and maps everywhere so that people do not get confused
good accomodation in renovated apartment, worth asking for sea view, we had a large balcony looking out to sea and rovinj. The facilities on site were excellent, the food and breakfast were also good. The beach is a pebble/ shingle beach but is very nice. ther are a lot of sports facilities on site and although we were there towards the end of the season everything was still available. The site is 4km from Rovinj and can be reached by bus from reception or by water taxi from the beach jetty straight to the harbour in Rovinj this was by far the nicest way to travel but cost app. £5 return Overall we thought the Amarin was fantastic it was clean with good facilities and for once was as good or better than the pictures on the website. the site is on a hillside which may prove to much for elderly or disabled.
Modern clean None
Big touristic complex, nice apartments (the new ones) very close to Rovinj (great place) not all the apartments have a parking near by so you may need to walk long with your bags
It's a very good choice to stay in Rovinj. Cheep, clean, good breakfast, has an own beach. Everything was nice and perfect. I think we will visit again some years later. Dog friendly (huge + ;) The Wi-Fi isn't free. The restaurant is quite expensive for the services they got (I would recommend the pizza place under the restaurant instead).
I like the privacy we had in our app. Breakfast was also very nice and the surroundings and the location is fine. There were not peaceful at night. There should be staff taking care of piece and quiet after 10 p.m.
best location, staff. poor breakfast, very expensive,
Location and overall quality of hotel; breakfast/bar courtyard was really nice, as well Staff quality was very uneven. Some were very helpful; others seemed to have no interest
Great breakfast, great location, great staff...beautiful town
lovely terrace for breakfast, good breakfast, newly refurbished bathroom, character preserved, location in heart of historical town centre the location in the heart of the old town means you have to be prepared to wait for the minibus to transport you from the car park
The nice view over the lake, the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of our room, the good food in the restaurant well the furniture and atmosphere of the restaurant isn't so good, but the food was just excellent and the waiters were very friendly!!!
I thought the staff were excellent, very helpfull and attentive. I was disappointed in the room for the cost of the hotel, i had expected it to me more luxurious, we will be returning to Rovinj on a business trip and i wanted to review the hotel for this but our room was disappointing.
Charming and central in the town of Rovinj It does not have an elevator, which might be a problem to some people. We had to go downstairs to the lobby to get wireless internet connection. I thought the hotel was rather expensive, though having said this, I would also say that the standard was high, and it is very satisfactory as a charming boutique hotel.
The staff of the hotel was great and the hotel itself was really great and my holiday was really nice!
location, style of interior extremely weak hotel staff during breakfasts, relatively loud air conditioning - however I could stand with
The location was fantastic - on one of teh little lanes of the old town.
If you are not looking for the beaches, but for Rovinj in itself, this is the one and only place where to go and stay, right in the center of the old city in front of the wharf (can't expect a better location). Great, great, great! Rovinj is from very very far the best place to see and where to stay in all Istria (a real jewel). The Adiatic St Tropez. Maybe better. And the Adriatic hotel offers everything an experienced international traveller would expect (the really only thing they could be blamed for is 1/ not to have a lift, for a 3 story building and 2/ to have pretty small rooms). But this is where to sleep, right? Not to spare time during the day, right?Otherwise everything is just perfect. By any mean, worth the fare. Would come again anytime with a very great pleasure. Let me just share and provide you with a real good piece of advice: ask for a standard rate room (with no sea view) and you will get a room in the back with the lowest rate and most of all with absolutely no noise! Hope you will be as pleased as my wife and I (we are 45) have been. Thank you Adriatic hotel which is now part of our Rovinj memory. Bruno and Cathy (Toulouse - France) ps. Last, do not miss a drink at sunset at Valentino Cafe on the rocks (2 mn from the hotel). Unbelievable and unforgetable!
Wonderful breakfast in a beautiful place. Great view. The best spot in town. Needed light blocking curtains for windows.
The hotel's location was perfect: very central and not too far from the beach. The breakfast buffet was good and the dinner offers were a good alternative to the town's restaurants. We had to pay extra to use the hotel's safe.
Croatian people are extremely knd and naturally polite. There was no lift but he location and cafe were great. But a double bed would have been better than two singles for our romantic life
Location is absolutely fabulous in the centre of Rovinj, breakfast is served outside on the terrasse, the harbour-view from the room is great, it is a good place to explore other parts of Istrie. No elevator, you have to walk up the stairs with your luggage. No separate shower, you have to step into the bath.
Only the view Four stars it wasn'T. Staff not knowledgable re carpark. Major maintenance required, not clean, no lift for people or luggage. False advertising would not give it one star. Not recommend.
The staff were not helpful. We booked a double room and were given a twin room. The hotel could do with updating. Very good views of the harbour.
staff, location room was too small and tired looking for the price paid
Beautiful location on harbour and main piazza, yet peaceful at night.Great cafe, with outdoor sofas, for people-watching. Good situation for sightseeing old town of Rovinj and Punta Corrente forest park. Only a few minutes walk from bus station. Friendly and helpful staff.
It really doesn't matter what I think of it, the hotel will be deloished and replaced with five stars luxury resort opening 2018. The location is amazing Location .. Location .. Location
Parking available. Beach side location 200m from Rovinj old town.
Near the water, near the center. Long distance between the car and room. Lots of stairs to climb when carrying luggage.
Clean and comfortable hotel on a great position by the sea, near the city.
Very convenient location, a short walk to the lovely old town of Rovinj and beside the marina and forest walks. ns Although it did not affect my group directly, there did not seem to be lift access from the pool area to main reception/restaurant area. It could be a problem for elderly guests or people with buggies/small children.
We stayed only one night in Hotel Park, but we were very satisfied with it. Excellent position, friendly staff, very good breakfast. It is not high season now (October), but we reccomend it. Everything was OK.
Hotel was fine. Nice Lobby, pool and great breakfast Over priced, Hotel is very outdated. We had a room that was labeled seaside. We had to look past 15 feet of roof to see the sea. Old carpet and 70's looking curtains. Most expensive room on our trip which included Salzburg, Vienna and Prague and it was our least favorite. Skip the hotels with the pools and stay in town at a smaller hotel. Go swim in the sea at one of many great public beaches.
Excellent facilities, food and location by the sea. No, can't fault it in anyway!
The location of this hotel is amazing. It has beautiful views of Rovinj and has excellent facilities. It is very close to all cafes, bars and old town of Rovinj. Definitely get a sea view room, it is so worthwhile for the incredible views.
great views and close to center of Roving The property is getting a bit dated and needs some minor renovations. Emergency exit doors are small.
The staff were very helpful and the location of the hotel was excellent. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room.
excellent location, good services (swimming pool, massage)
I enjoyed being on the Island, the fabulous view of Rovinj, dolphins swimming off the Island as we took the evening boat trip into Rovinj for dinner. I loved being able to get in the sea at any time of the day or night, Shady trees to lie under and read my book.
We fall in love with this nice place! Thanks for care and attention to Klara Damjanovic,Harris Velic,Luka for the yellow ball and pedalina! )))) thank our chief for tasty food and special thanks to Robert- pravi morcki kapetan! We will come here again, because Katarina became for us the real place of dreams. Good lack for everyone, who make our rest wonderful! See you next year!!! Everything was excellent!
The hotel setting is beautiful; it is situated on an island overlooking the town of Trogir. The facility itself is beautiful, especially the hotel lobby and restaurant areas. It is worth the time to walk around the island and to explore it before leaving. It's inconvenient waiting for the ferry to bring you back and forth to the island.
The staff was extremely helpful, providing information about where to go for sightseeing, where to eat and so forth. Their hospitality made our stay very comfortable, feeling welcomed at home.
The hotel is brand new, nicely decorated with antique items, there are some very unusual design points. My room overlooked the harbor, and I especially liked the possibility to have breakfast on the balcony. My bathroom had one as well... People there are very courteous and professional, with personal approach. Check-in took me just 5 seconds, they were waiting for me. Room was very nice with comfortable bed and high quality sheets. Breakfast was tasty and with a touch of luxury, there was enough selection and everything was served in a very elegant way. I will be staying there again. These points were not really important for me, since i was staying for one night, but just to mention... Safe in the room is too small to put any laptop or "real" camera in, I think it is just right size for wallet and passport. Maybe it was just my room, being single and all ))) Also, shampoo and shower gel, while good quality, are packed in little plastic bags that you have to tear to open – not really a thing you want to do with wet hands...
Great location in Rimini; Very special design; Very romantic; Can drive up to the hotel for handling luggage - ask for 1hour permit at the enternace to the parking lot; Stayed only one night - would recommned staying at least 2 nights.
This is a find. five months old hotel in a five hundred year old building. great room (we had the suite). Good buffet breakfast.
Great place to stay. Superb facilities.Excellent staff. Beautiful location.
staff (kristina and mirna), enterier, location, breakfast (real orange juice and coffee, nice house made marmalade, champagne), room (upper level 43, paintings, furniture, size, view, quietness (in Oct), bathroom), welcome drink in the elegant living room no reception during night, small breakfast area - really small issues, causing no problem at all
It was everything we expected and more, beautiful studio and location, fantastic staff, great breakfast (which includes delicious fresh pastries, fruit, fresh Insalata Caprese, etc. all available throughout the day, not just am). Boutique gym includes best equipment. This place seems more like a family hobby, not a business, although they have a fantastic manager . The family (otherwise successful lawyers) even baby sat our infant (first just to help us finish our coffee in peace, then we arranged it regularly for a fee with the daughter) We loved it and are definitely recommending to friends and coming back. Parking arrangements could be improved, pre/arranged, or arranged in a non-public parking (which was constantly full) although they were helpful here, too.
The hotel is located in a very special place in the middle of a marvelous old city and the atmosphere was good. Breakfast was satisfectory. It is a nice small hotel at the middle of the old town. There is a problem with the laggage and we got a special permition to enter with the car into the restricted area and with the help of the hotel crew everything was carried to the second flor (without elevator).
Quite friendly, warm staff. Good location on the near side of the old town. Apartment was spacious and interesting with a large bathroom. Much traditional artwork. More modern portion of the hotel was tastefully renovated. Very modern exercise room. Only views were to the street out front. Breakfast could have started a little earlier.
Beautiful place, the location is perfect, staff is excellent, Comfortable room
Location in old town lovely. Onle a few steps from bars and restaurants and harbour side only 5 minutes away. Very peaceful at night (no cars allowed). Apartment nice and big. We weren't informed by staff about any of the services on offer as mentioned on the hotel's own website e.g. we stumbled across the gym through a door marked private. No evidence of any guests' cycles. Not mentioned in information binder in room either. One of electrical points in bathroom loose to extent of coming out of wall. Seems too much of a coincidence that my wife's hair dryer caught fire !!
Very Charming Hotel, nice room, super helpfull stuff!
Very welcoming and helpful staff. The facilities were beautiful - simple, elegant modern design mixed with the old. In a beautiful location in a Medieval city.
Very comfortable and beautifully decorated accommodations No complaints. It was a very pleasurable experience.
Charming, bright, prosfessional people. Lovely ancient buildiing. Wonderfullly located, right in the center of the old city. A bit high cost.
I would highly recommend Villa Valdibora, the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great with various choice of food, the hotel room is very clean, model design with antique furniture, overall it's worth of value.
Location was nice. Right accross from Hotel Park. It is easy walk to beaches and bike paths as well as the port and old city. It is kind of in the middle of everything. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It is clean and comfortable and served an acceptable european breakfast.
Clean fresh decor. Located away from the congestion but only 10 min walk to old town. Accommodating staff.
The staff was very helpful as to what to do and where to eat etc. Gave us the map and then drew up how to get to the ferries etc.
Very hospitable and helpful staff. Cosy pleasantly decorated rooms. A bit far from the sea, but this can be solved easily by renting a bike.
Great place to stay - good location and very accomodating staff
nice rooms, good size balcony, fridge in the hallway
Friendly, easy walk to town and beach
Made you feel welcome, very friendly and nothing a problem for them. The family dog also made you feel special. Service at breakfast was spot on.
It was in reasonable walking distance to the Old Town and not too far to Pula and hilltop towns. Parking available nearby.
Room was comfortable, the family owners were friendly and helpful, breakfast was pretty decent, and it is in a quiet residential neighbourhood - no noisy bars/nightclubs nearby. Rovinj is beautiful and the centre of town is 15-20 mins walk gently down a hill. I knew of both of these in advance. I would have preferred to pay by credit card rather than cash, and as other reviews have said wifi somewhere in the building would be nice.
nothing special poor location! very hard to find it even with GPS. Not in short walking distance to Rovinj old town.
While the hotel, staff etc. were fine the hote'ls location with a 15 min. walk through suburban streets to the old city was an inconvernience.
Spacious rooms, hospitable staff, excellent service, great breakfast
The building was very nice and seemed recently renovate. Breakfast was excellent...probably the best of our trip. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. It was a bit difficult to find the hotel by car.
Lovely friendly staff Difficult to find but worth the hassle
Fantastıc property, great facılıtıes, short walk to the beach and not far ınto the cıty centre.
The reception by the hotel staff
the host was a nice woman, and did everything to make our stay comfortable. the breakfast was a nice one, great value for money
The pansion was very clean and the breakfast was fantastic. Yes. When we booked through your company you stated that our credit card would be charged for the one night's stay we planned at the pansion, yet when we were checking out the pansion said they never accept credit cards, so we had to pay in cash. We are now left wondering whether or next credit card bill will have this charge, thereby causing us to have paid the bill twice.
