location and price
Location, a quiet street, helpful staff Poor breakfast, no Wi-Fi, the bath promised in the bedroom but finally we had a shower.
It was good. The hotel is a budget hotel, with really small rooms (as are in all of France) which are really clean. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The cafe next door has with good coffee and croissants (that's all I had..) and nice waiters. Also, the area around the hotel is great, a block from the train station and a 10 min walk from the center. Not much. Do remember it is not a fancy hotel. It is ok for a 3-night stay.
smaller and more traditional in style. good position Coffee and tea making not available in rooms. Bathroom somewhat run down
Very nice hotel, friendly people at the front desk. It was more personal than a big hotel. The only little remark I have is that we had a double room but there was only one bedside table and lamp on the right side of the bed. I would like to suggest that they arrange the same on the left side of the bed. I have mentioned this to someone at the reception. Our room was on the 4th floor.
Friendly and helpful staff
good location, clean and tidy, I like the soap and shower gel they offer. central heating is not strong enough
good, cheap, clean hotel Was actually a good 15 min walk to the beach and not really close to any other restaurants etc apart from those near the beach or the high street. Also no air con made the room uncomfortable on warm evenings
Nice an near the station plus it was not far to walk to the town and seaside
good value for the price near to train station
central location for all main amenities.we had very late book in and a very early checkout and found the night porter (louis) very helpfull. hotel bar was empty on both nights of my stay, would have liked a little more atmosphere.
The location is excellent, especially for train trevallers. The staff at the reception area is helpful. he told us a lot of information about Nice and Monaco, which made great sense to our travel. No Internet in rooms, neither wifi nor cabled. The elevator is limited up to 2 persons.
very nice and helpful staff
Location and very helpful and cheerful staff. The Japanese girl at the desk is extremely helpful and efficient. Convenient room; asked for a noise free room and got it. I will recommend and stay again. Nothing.
the clenliness ans quiet Would have prefered to have had a bar at the Hotel
Really close from the train station. Clean room. 20 minutes walk from city attraction Be careful, not touristic place during the evening. A lot of young group drinking around on the street.no wifi
Great location within 2 minute walk from the Termini Station. Very basic room - nothing flash but when you are there to sleep that is all you need. HOrrible shower - no water pressure and the staff could be alittle friendlier!
only the emplacement the service, and the aerations room
all the staff were very friendly and helpful minor point but the bed i had was very uncomfortable
Nothing The discription mentioned on the Booking.com for this hotel is totaly far of thr truth
Stuff I very friendly and helpful.
Excellent service from staff
Free internet access Extremely small room for two people. No place to keep two suitcases and barely any room to walk around the bed.
A pleasent hotel, clean and quite room. Nice added touch with the lunch pack that was given. With in walking distance to both the train station and Airport bus connection. 15 min walk to the beach. Other Best Western Hotels are nearer to both shops and beach. Nothing
Close to the railway station Poor for 3 stars
Excellent location near the station. Good value for money. Rooms quite small.
1. The location is near the train station. 2. Breakfast is included and is good enough for us. 3. Everyday you'll get a lunch box with sandwiches, fresh apple slices, chips, and a bottle of water. That's sweet! One of the bedside lamps was broken. When getting back to the hotel in the evening, the staff said the mechanic would replace it the next day. I asked if I could get the lamp and changed it by myself, but a lady said that would be against their rule. So I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights without the bedside lamp to read. (I stayed there for 3 nights, but I hurried to visit Nice and forgot to tell the staff on the second morning.)
Excellent hotel staff (very customer oriented) - 10+, good breakfast (ham, cheese, butter, self boiled eggs, croissant, pain au chocolat, corn flakes, milk, yoghurt, different juices, etc.), nice extras: welcome drink + lunch bag (2 sandwiches, cut apple, water 1/2 liter, chips), clean room with lcd, electric kettle with free tea bags & instant cofee. Bathroom renewed and clean. The size of the room. The room is really very small but is clean and recently renewed. Anyway we spent only the nights in the room and finally we enjoyed our stay.
The only attractive thing about this hotel is that it was cheap The room was very small with extremely poor storage space. For a 3 star hotel it has very poor facilities.
Staff was very informative and helpful, room was clean, TV had English language channel, shower had good water pressure Internet was not working, rooms were tiny
good city centre location with easy access to public transport, beach and old city.. english speaking receptionists..very good restaurant just across the street.. Picture on website of room lot smaller than in reality.. wi-fi not available on 4th floor (had to sit on stairs to use internet).. towels only changed once in one week despite complaints.. had to complain twice at reception regarding lack of shampoo and toiletries..had to buy own cloths to dry dishes
good hotel, no problem staff no
The location The staff were rarely at the front desk which made asking questions difficult.
staff with friendly and helpful attitude--especially the senior staff member who took our registration on sept 9/08-early afternoon-he was consistently friendly and very helpful throughout our stay[sept 9 through sept 17].-please convey our thanks to him. security deposit requirement; inventory check--induces unnecessary stress
The location was very good, the staff very helpful and no problems with noise. The bed was very uncomfortable and the appartment space not very well designed.
good location very small rooms, noise transmission from next door rooms
The size of the room is to small and there is no service, it should be one star or no star. The size of the room is to small and no service it should be one star or no star.
Great balcony, good sized apartment, with a table as well as a separate, well equipped kitchen - even a dishwasher! The shower was brilliant and it has a new lift in the building. We requested a room with a balcony & were pleased we did - gave it a sense of space, although the ceilings are very high, so you didn't feel crowded at all. Excellent choice for budget accomodation and I'd definitely stay there again. The bed was a sofa bed. We had to make it ourselves. It was totally uncomfortable, so ended up putting the mattress on the floor, and it was fantastic then! I didn't realise [not told] that you had to clean the unit on leaving - so that was a pain & also, towels are not provided - you can hire them. 2 large and 2 smaller cost 11 euros, which I thought was a lot.
Inexpensive and clean/modern 2-Room apartment was a bit of a loose term for what amounted to 2 single beds in a room and a double sofa bed crammed in a very small living room/kitchen. Would probably have booked something bigger if had known how small it was going to be. 2 room apartment tends to suggest 2 bedrooms.
A family-owned hotel, cared with dedication. Decorated with taste and good colour-eye. Helpful and friendly owner couple. Our room was the last available, so it located behind the reception. The window was narrow and towards the inner yard, therefore natural light was minimal. Despite of our doubts that the room could be noisy, because of the location, it actually was not, thanks to quiet quests.
Handy to the railway station & easy walk to the beach. Manager very helpful. Lack of a lift caught us by surprise - but staff came to the rescue with luggage to the room.
Small but comfortable hotel with a friendly family atmosphere. It's location, although close to the train station, had some unsavoury aspects close by that could be intimidating to some.
Were greeted by happy people, who gave us a lovely clean room. Very close to the train station and buses. Was able to catch the bus to the airport from a five minute walk away. Very happy over all.
I loved the service - the owner/manager of the hotel is a legend - he will do anything he possibly can to make your stay better i loved everything
Very close to SNCF Nice-ville. Need a trash can in the room. Little noizy, because the room I stayed at faced to a delivery gate of post office.
The Hotel is very near to the main station. Pleasant and friendly front desk staff. The bathroom quite good. The room we stayed was small for family with children. No windows. However there is a balcony (it is very small and is difficult for 1 person to stand) door which you can open if it is suffocating. The rate doesn't include breakfast.
tidy room noise from other hotelguests , thin walls and thin doors
Beautiful decor. Charming helpful smiling staff! Very clean. Excellent location for station. Lovely smell on entering hotel! We arrived late and tricky to gain access. Had to phone up!
The personal is friendly and helpful and the rooms are new. The breakfast it is also very good. A little bit noisy.
