MGM was an amazing stay. Everything from the room to pools were great especially the staff. The staff were always friendly and over the top help. Excellent
Don’t stay on floors 1-3 of the north tower. Your view will be a concrete wall and the rooms are difficult to find.
The StayWell upgrade was not worth the extra money spent. The bed was hard and the extra amenities were hardly worth it and some didn’t work. The dedicated check-in Stay well office was a nice perk to avoid long lines, but we check in online thru M-Life. Once we were informed we could use it to get welcome waters it was nice. The Uber pick up and drop off section is nice. The MGM is not convienent to get to, especially if you want to visit the Park MGM or the Cosmo. They nickel and dime you to check-out late. The casino and Concert venue are filled with smoke. Overall i would stay at a different hotel next time. This felt old and outdated to us.

Hi I’m disappointed in my stay because I got charged for the drinks in the fridge that I didn’t use
I don’t like to be asked for a tip. I always tip but I hate it when an employee has to gesture a sign to give him a tip. Also I checked in my vehicle into valet and never checked it out during my stay. When I checked out they said that I had checked out my vehicle a day prior and they couldn’t find the keys. I stayed 2 days and no one came in to take the trash out or clean the room.
Back to the basics would be smart

Check-in process took forever. Lines to check-in, lines to store luggage while waiting to check-in. Mini bar charge that shouldn't have been on bill required 2 calls to remove.
Make sure u don't get an old room
Horrible experience! From moment I arrived it was a bad experience! The line to check in took 45minutes They gave me an old room!! No hot water kettle for coffee! Bathroom didn't have a door! No minibar!! Even the cheapest hotels out there have coffee in the rooms! Hallway smelled like urine! To get to my room I had to walk almost 20 minutes to get there! Check out line took almost 25minutes! And so what exactly did the resort fee that I paid go to! not worth it at all! And when I told the check out agent all of this nothing at all was offered!
Booked west wing king got a cheap queen room by the staff room and ice

Paid extra for the grand king room. $40 more a night then the online rate for a run of the house room or the west wing king/queens etc. Check in at 8pm told rooms are sold out and will I take 2 queens. I’m Travelling with friends but staying in a room by myself so would’ve preferred one bed but sure not a big deal but I paid way more. She goes to the mgr and they’ll knock one night of resort fee off, which is only the $40, the amount I paid extra per night, shouldn’t you knock off. Both nights?I didn’t bother arguing but then I get room 801, right next to the elevator, the ice machine AND the staff meeting room. It was loud day and night, 4pm you want to have a nap after some sun and you get to listen to the dozen or so staff laugh, clap and be loud. I’m glad their happy, but to be honest I don’t think I’ll stay here again due to the fact when I asked to swap rooms at the front they said they couldn’t and that the room was fine. I feel because I booked off a discount site they didn’t care about screwing over the paying customer. As a group we spent at least $7500 on shows, food, drinks and gambling in this casino and their sister resorts which are all part of our m’lifes cards. Disappointing they couldn't find one better room in a large hotel for 1 or 2 nights for a group spending this kind of cash in their establishments. Next time I’ll go back to the Wynn, the pools aren’t as tropical but the restaurants are better and the customer service is second to none.
The TV didn't work; it needed a new modem. Then they delivered a refrigerator which I didn't request and the delivery person expected a tip..Too smoky
A week at the MGM
It was close to everything, yet not in the middle if everything. Short walk to mid strip activities. Hotel staff were nice and the inside was kept clean.
The rooms had no microwave, small fridge, coffee maker or any other item in them. Just a tv, hair dryer, and a safe. This as in a double queen room with a strip view, that was not a low end room. Like everything elce, nothing was free. At check out be ready for higher than reported fees. Each day add $40 ish to your bill for fees and taxes. So the “deal” KAYAK gives you may not be all that great!
The rooms were modern and comfortable, the staff was extremely friendly, and everyone was extremely accommodating to our personal needs.
