The corner room view
Breakfast, toiletries, quality of towels, no slippers or robe.. overall not a luxury hotel or even 4 star.. more like a 3.5
Sofa bed was the worst I have ever slept on. Neighborhood not good either
Location and service.
Needs a larger restaurant
The room was beautiful
Nice bed linens. Large windows.
Vending machine unavailable. Ice machines difficult to locate. Lobby furniture not inviting. Carpeting difficult to roll luggage on.
The people were very helpful and friendly. Upgraded us and had our rooms ready early. Food in restaurant was good. Bar happy hour was great. Great location to all the areas we wanted to go to ---
That they did not have a shuttle service from the airport or to port as we were there for a cruise. Although you could walk from hotel, it was a bit difficult with cruise luggage.
Excellent Location
Well located downtown Vancouver hotel, recently tastefully renovated. Friendly, helpful staff.
The toilet in our bathroom was located immediately in front of the sink which made access to the sink a bit awkward. New bathrooms are small.
Hotel was nice. Spacious. Close to the waterfront sky train station.
Neighborhood is in transitional neighborhoods. One block away is sketchy
Not what it is advertised to be
This is solidly a two-star hotel. Admittedly this is my first and last experience in a Delta Hotel. There was nothing that I was used to experiencing in other Marriott-brand hotels. The room was spacious but the positives ended there. The "suite" was really an urban 1-br meaning there was a 3/4 wall dividing the bedroom from the living space, so we had to be super quiet once our baby went down for the night. Definitely not "suite". The room was clean-ish, but definitely dingy, maybe this was due to the age of the hotel. Definitely in need of an update. The mattress was VERY uncomfortable...surprising since this is usually the strong point at a Marriott. The couch was falling apart, the upholstery was separating at the seams and felt as though I was sitting directly on the hide-away frame beneath. The fixed shower pipe jutting from the wall was low and angled awkwardly sideways, making it difficult to aim the showerhead properly. I am only 6' and I had to contort myself awkwardly to wet my hair. We left a day early since we were not comfortable.
Everything was great
no problems
Great location, outdated decor
Excellent location in downtown Vancouver. Parking is on site in a garage, but a bit confusing to find. Sofa in room was old and broken. Early 90s decor, but clean..
All the staff were great and very polite (In the reception Kim and Jason are awesome). Excellent location and easy access.
Price goes up if you try to stay an extra day
the front desk staff were very helpful at all times
I liked the suite setup. I liked the location, as I had a meeting at the Convention Center. I liked the free Internet access.
The front desk staff and valet parking staff were very helpfuland extremely acomodating.
We felt the cleaning staff could have done a better job. There was some question of safety after 2 nights of police present on the streets boudering our hotel.
Nice gym.
Thought room was quite small for the money we paid.
staff werwe very accommodating
Very close to conference I had to attend, very pleased about that.
Just the cost of parking, it would be nice to have the cost included in the cost of the room.
The hotel was close to the centre of the city and therefore easy to find our way around. We had stayed there previously so happy to be back.
The room was amazing. Real (glass) wine glasses, robe, computer tableThe corner suite was wonderful. Perfect for a romantic experience.
Not offered any compensation for having to wait for a room when we checked into the hotel well after the posted check in time. We had to wait an hour at a local coffee shop, as there was no where to wait at the hotel other than then lobby, as all hotel facilities were closed.
We heard the traffic in the early morning, people shouting and sirens all night. The appliances were a bit out dated. The parking was expensive and they charged you for the morning newspaper if you placed it in your room. Patrons should be aware of this when booking
This is an amazing hotel which I would recommend to anyone I know needing accommodation in Vancouver. Absolutely fabulous. Clean, very helpful staff, lovely room, great bar, great location.
